New articles are few and between, and when they do update, they are pretty poor anyway. If it wasn’t for the sports section it would be a waste of time.

Your newspaper business is terrible. 3 Sunday in a row no newspaper. To use this app I had to go to customer service. I am always told I would be credited. I never received any email about the credit. I am filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau tomorrow on Monday against your newspaper for terrible customer service.

I particularly love TNT's high school sports coverage. Best of any newspaper on the state with their all-state teams and All-Area teams. Awesome feature stories and profiles on local athletes and they do highlight videos from games. I'm always looking for their Northwest Nuggets recruiting package, Western 100 and the Untouchables wrestling team.

Old was crashy but didn't push ads every 2 or 3rd article you click on! Wow tnt...I guess you just want all the profit you can collect for yourself! Straighten Up! :) 😜

Enjoy reading articles from this app every day. Get a great many local stories that the Seattle news sources chose not to cover.

Deleted because of intrusive ads

Can never log in, continually asks for password reset then gives error message. Cancel your subscription and move on.

I deleted the app then downloaded it again. Works fine now...

Tried to open this app several Blue times this morning. I get a message that says not everything was downloaded. When I hit the refresh, it just closes. 😒 this has been my go-to app for local news.

I've used this all for awhile, love the new UI. Very user friendly. I just wish I could pay to remove the ads.

The app won't update to the new date upon opening and the navigation is sketchy, at best. I click on an article under an embedded 30 second video and nothing happens. Where is the article? The app looks nothing like a newspaper and apparently TNT doesn't allow us to download the other app by Olive Software that emulates the paper, worked perfectly, downloaded each day upon opening and didn't have the annoying and distracting ads, sales videos and banners. Terrible app and news service!

TNT app v6.0.6 is incompatible with iOS v8.1.2 on iPhone 6 Plus - after upgrading this morning it immediately quits when I try to open it. The upgrade comments say it's compatible with iOS 8+, it is not. Apparently "compatible with iOS 8+" really means iOS 9 or iOS 8.5. Shoddy beta testing & documentation - how hard is that to do responsibly. Functioned at 3-4 stars in past, now a zero.

I won’t pay for this app. And I won’t pay for delivery that has always been hit and miss. I’ll read it for free at the bar. The tribune has gotten smaller and smaller and more and more expensive. Not worth the money anymore. It was pretty decent for many years but not any longer.

But left wing editorializing means this app is being deleted.

The TNT web site and phone app are absolutely the worst functioning I have ever unfortunately encountered. Not only is the paper itself dwindling down to a “news letter” the customer service is nonexistent. I’m about to pull the plug on this pathetic organization.

Not worth the frustration. If I could give it a minus rating I would. It's impossible to read the paper comfortably. Too shrunken. The app especially for the iPad eEdition and iOS on the paper’s website so far is working much better than this chaotic disaster.

This new version of the app is way to busy. Too much going on. Thankfully you can get rid of the dark background but still doesn't help the overall presentation. I will get my local news elsewhere until they make the app more eye friendly.

Same headlines for days on end. Little difference between Top Latest & Local News. Have to say not as bad as King 5 app.

If i could....and you want me to actually PAY for your cutrate crap website that is rarely updated more than once per day? Yeah good luck with keeping it afloat with "subscribers".

Trying to read on iPad is horrible. Still have not found the comics. The display on a regular computer is much better and easier to navigate.

I hope the app developers read the reviews.agree with other reviewers. After the update, the app won't open.

I’ve had this app for years and check daily for any new articles. I’ve been extremely busy the last couple of weeks and haven’t been able to go on and read up. I read a couple articles last night before bed, and just went on here to catch up some more and it says I’ve used all of my free articles for the month?? Since when did I have to pay? And for reading more that 3 articles a month?? No wonder TNT is out of here now. Management failure at its best...

I was born and raised in Tacoma, Wa, . And moved away years ago enjoy using this app to see what is happening in my home town.😃

This app was looking good until some point in the last few weeks. Now it no longer opens and immediately crashes. Please fix and send an update. It is football season and I need Seahawks info on my phone.

After using it a few days, I like it fine and see the improvements over the old app. The change was hard at first but now I see the benefits. More the look and feel of the google news app which I use a lot as well.

I was a long-time (20+ years) subscriber to the TNT before stopping in 2014. Very recently I re-subscribed, mainly because I believe local newspapers are (or at least should be) an important contributor towards having an educated populace. But if this app is any indication of the direction the TNT has taken over the past four years, my return to the subscriber fold may be brief. My biggest complaint about this app is: advertisements take up 50% of reading space! When you view a story, you’ll see a full-width photo or video at the top. Below that, though, the presentation is split into two equal-width (and unadjustable) columns - the left half holds the article’s content, and the right half is reserved for ads. You can go into settings and adjust the font size (which is poor app design in itself), but that just means larger letters will be squeezed into the left-most, 50%-width, column. This makes for an annoying reading experience, especially for long-form articles - way too much scrolling involved; plus the constant distraction of animated advertisements makes it extremely difficult to read the articles with any sort of focus. One might argue “well, they need the revenue from the advertisements” - but, in the end, that’s not my problem as a subscriber. Like any business, if their services aren’t meeting my needs as a customer, I have no compelling reason to continue giving them my money. The only reason I didn’t give this app ONE star is because there is still worthwhile content here, even if they make it annoyingly difficult to extract its full value. Obviously the rank-and-file workers still care about doing quality work and providing informative content. It’s unfortunate the newspaper’s leadership doesn’t make that a higher priority.

The app works ok but I sure wish they would just report the news instead of subjecting us to their far left, pro Dimslee, pro Ferguson, and anti gun/second amendment nonsense constantly. It’s very tiring. I also am about to pull the plug on this liberal mouthpiece for a the worst governor this state has ever seen. The TNT’s filtering of what we read is very close to being “fake news” in my opinion. This is why they are about to go under.

I get the news from TNT before the actual news channels release the news

This app does not give you the ability to read very many articles before the members of fish. I could get my news elsewhere, without getting a subscription. Some of the sources are use actually get their news from News Tribune. So it will be worth it getting a subscription, if it works with family sharing. Don’t buy this app.

I use this app to keep abreast of what's happening in my town. It's very easy to navigate and I really like the way this site is organized. I highly recommend it.

App no longer opens. Didn't work in August. Then it did. Now it doesn't again. Tech support for this app leaves much to be desired. Tried it again. Was working. With 6.0.5 update it no longer opens. Guess we are doing the testing on their app AFTER it's released. 😡😡 Still won’t open after ios11😡😡😡

This app immediately crashes upon opening. Please fix.

New app crashes when you click on any job. New app says unable to load contact. Only thing that works on the new app is the ad at the bottom They should've said they were adding Adds Well that was one of the best simple news apps in the store. Why did they feel they need to redo the whole thing. I was skeptical if an update would be good. Not so good

The ads aren't too bad and he coverage is pretty decent. Can't ask for much more from a local news app.

Push notifications from the app seem to only open the app and don’t open the story from the notification.

Tough/impossible to find content from specific writers/columnists.

Very limited app. Cannot manage your subscription from it and it only shows bits and pieces of the actual paper. Worthless.

This app started crashing after the last update. I deleted the app and reinstalled it--hooray it works great again. This is a great news program!

Kind of tricky the way they make you pay.

I used the title of a previous rating because I agree totally with what he says. I am using this app only because for the third time this week, l did not get my newspaper. I opened this app this morning and found only yesterdays and previous days news Dan Orr

Don't like it.

App is okay but crashes every time iOS is updated so I have to delete & reinstall each time.
