It makes the whole magazine useless. I already subscribed and the subscription page is glitched into the upper frame of the screen so there’s no way to get rid of it and now of the other functions of the app will work unless you exit the subscription alert. Frustrating. Why pay for a year subscription.

I write iOS apps and I do not understand how this app got in the store it is so difficult to read on an iPhone 6s Plus. it does not react to change orientation and the screens or just plain quirky if you slide back-and-forth to read a page. I’ve been reading popular science since I’m 10 years old which was 60 years ago . compared to other digital publications I find this extremely disappointing for a magazine that claims to stay on top of science and technology.

Very annoying. Just subscribed and found out you can’t read in landscape mode. Will probably cancel or not renew.

I've been using this app for over a year with no issues. After reading the physical magazine for many years I've completely switched to the app now. It's a fair price for the content in my opinion, especially if you have a yearly subscription.

Had an issue getting the October update. Needed to uninstall then reinstall the app to resolve. Only downside was re-downloading all the issues I was behind on. Great to have this magazine included with my digital collection.

I have subscribed to this magazine for 3 years and for the last one year I have been unable to access it through my iPad. I have contacted Apple and popular science to no avail. When it worked for the first year and a half it was amazing. I was notified that I was going to be charged another 14.99 for another years subscription for this and I agreed to proceed with this, however, when I tried to access my subscription on my iPad (and/or iPhone) yesterday and this evening, it tried to make me purchase each issue for the past year that I've already paid for and also the current month's issue, which I also have already paid for. Are used to recommend us to patients when they were in the hospital for a long time, however I will no longer do so, this is ridiculous.

This app is very bad... Basically scanned pages... No interactive experience anymore... I find myself reading a lot more on my iPhone 6 Plus. Please add support for that platform.

Haven't had this app for some time, but good lord what happened to it? You used to be able to read articles on here without paying, now you have to pay? I realize they need to make money, but what happened to advertising? I feel as though science is already falling to the wayside in America, but now a popular science, no pun intended, magazine must limit even further those who would like access to their material?

This app is now nothing more than a PDF reader. It used to have interactive pages, the ability to change device orientation, and overall a much, much better look and feel, etc. Now it appears they have scanned the print magazine in, added a few hyperlinks, and called it good. Oh, did I mention that now you can't view any of the earlier interactive issues ... that were PAID FOR?!? Please don't reward PopSci for this crap by purchasing in app issues.
