Provides up to date news and weather. The weather feature is especially helpful because of the S band radar. The notifications are helpful. They give quick information without having to open the app.

I previously had TWC app and got completely frustrated with it and if you have ever tried to contact them, good luck. I am really enjoying the NBC 5 app, it has the information I need and gives good data for my neck of the woods.

Great news app! The lightning strike notifications are waaaaay to frequent. Had to turn off the notifications.

I get these messages and alerts on my iPad when they are necessary. I enjoy knowing what is going on. It is never too much, just pops up when necessary. Glad I have it.

I appreciate being kept informed of news in the DFW area. I don’t live there but my kids do. You are doing a great job!

I really miss the live 2 minute weather report every morning with Grant Johnston or Keisha Burns.

I use this app several times a day to check the weather and catch up on the latest news. I have my coffee with it first thing in the morning and read it again before I go to bed. It keeps me informed as I carry on my busy schedule each day. Keep up the good work!

Great app. Very helpful during weather issues.

I can watch the local news when it is on. The down side is it uses a lot of battery power, so be near a plug to charge your device. Cannot watch tv lineup unless you pay for a special carrier. But local news is easy to get.

Our family has been in South Carolina for a week, and we were able to keep up with our hometown all week. Thanks, Channel 5!!!

I love this app! I watch the live broadcast on my phone in the morning as I make my kiddos lunches and get them ready for school. It’s my go to for local info. I give it two thumbs up!

It’s important to me to be able to pick up my iPhone and read a snippet of what’s happening in real time! Love channel 5

With our weather being so changeable, it’s great to be able to keep up in real time. Several times during severe weather I have been able to either delay my travel, or even change routes to avoid the worst of it. The app also sends info out about warnings. In addition the news team also sends out breaking news as it happens, including live reporting, and aerial shots. Can’t say enough really. Just keep up the good work! If I could give 10 stars I would!

This is my go to app for all of my weather needs. When i get a notification this is where i can go and get the details. My daughter ow calls me for the weather of the day/week. I deleted all the other weather apps i had on my phone. Thank you for keeping us up to date.

Love this app it opens quickly and the radar can zoom down to a specific neighborhood so you know what to expect.

I moved to North Texas in 2014 and found my choice for good news delivery and the weather reporting is TOPS in my book!! I watch first thing in the morning and last thing before retiring for the night! I have their app on both my iPad & iPhone so I have access to NBC 5 no matter where I am! Count on their dependable, accurate weather reports!
