This is terrible!!! Disgraceful!!! I give up. It’s impossible to read an entire story. If the screen moves even a fraction, the story returns to the beginning and I have to scroll down again each time to try and find my place. Over and over. There are no controls whatsoever to help navigate the articles. National Geographic Magazine should be ASHAMED for this sloppy, care-less presentation. And owners are charging $4.50 per month?! Robbers! Thieves! Don’t waste your time on this. I’m deleting the app forevermore. I don’t even want the magazine off the rack because of this disappointment.

Have tried in vain to follow the directions (using an iPad) to unlock current year’s issues, but there is nowhere to do this so there is not digital access for me!

This app. Works fine on my IPad. I can read an article almost anywhere. However I wish they would use the technology that allows you to increase the size of the text. My other programs I am able to do that and it makes it so much easier to read.

The YouTube videos I watch from random Vloggers have better resolution than the photos in this app, which is a shame since NatGeo publishes some of the best photos in the world. If I were a natgeo photographer I would be ashamed to see my images in the app.

Been a while reading in a small box. Time to break out!

Literally cannot even read a page in-app. It's all a blurry mess.

Between my wife and I, we have been a subscriber on and off for years and have been constantly disappointed in both the app AND the increasingly obvious politicizing of your content. We expected better. Instead what we have seen is more and more guesswork and out right lies stated as fact is in your magazine. You have become part of the problem instead of the solution in our country, employing writers and editors from an increasingly corrupt pool of academia hell bent on achieving their agenda by any means necessary, spouting half-truths and outright lies to the world as if you represent ALL academics. You do not. This will be my last check-in to see if honest change and a return to neutrality in your writings as I no longer believe you are capable of doing the right thing. Congratulations, you’ve alienated yet another reader. Such a shame. Goodbye and good riddance.

No complaints against the magazine itself but the app could use some updates. While using on an iPad, the screen stays in landscape mode which is not how I read on a tablet. It would be nice to have the option geared towards personal preference.

The app is so poor.. no iPhone X support.. it’s not helpful for reading at all! Needs a lot of work!

I love to read the National Geographic Magazine. But wide screen view is a bit uncompotable to me. Vertical screen view mod on ipad was available but not now.
