I like the layout of the app and that i can pretty much browse whatever i feel like at the time. But I'm also having a few issues. Oftentimes posts don't load properly - with either a grey box for photos or no photos at all - and there's no way to refresh the page. (It's not my internet, trust me!) Posts linking to instagram may, without any prompting, bump me to instagram in-app, sometimes several times in a row (I just had to quit the app on account of being stuck on a screen continually playing the "moving you to a new app/page" animation). Besides these bugs, I do wish there was a clearer way to customize my feed with my interests!

I’m literally begging

So, I used to love the BuzzFeed app. It for everything I needed it to and I never had any issues. However, the past couple weeks or so I’ve been having issues with the “search” function. Sometimes people will screenshot me the total of an article/quiz, but when I search for it I can’t get it to show up. I used to be able to google “Search BuzzFeed” and that would work, but now I can’t even do that anymore. Not sure what’s going on, but I’m really annoyed that I can’t search something and have the results I need come up.

I really dislike the Ui, and I think you need to make it more user friendly for people with motor disabilities. Plus dank memes will win.

App is still glitching even after the update! When you open a article it still opens up many tabs that can’t be closed and then freezes the whole app! Update-it’s still happening!

I usually enjoy the app. However I’ve recently had a major problem with pictures loading in posts. The first three or four load with no issue, every other picture appears as a blank space. Not great for something where so much of the content is in pictures.

I really wish I could create quizzes on my phone. When I’m on the go, I always get overwhelmed with different quiz ideas but I can’t do anything about it. I write them down, but it’s not the same because when I get home they end up coming out different. Does the app not have this feature at all? Maybe I haven’t looked correctly. If it doesn’t, is there any thought of adding it?

I always felt like I needed more knowledge to better myself. Things of great importance. Why are we here? What is our purpose? Am I truly a good person? Instead of learning the answer to these questions I got this complete cancer. Buzzfeed should never have existed. Also the app crashes a lot and articles don’t load fully.

Buzzfeed is super fun to read and just scroll through. I love reading their lists of dumbest people or cutest dogs or whatever, but recently, I’ll select an article to read, scroll down past maybe 5 photos, and then the rest of the article pictures NEVER load, not even after I reboot the app. Not sure if that’s a problem on my end or not, but it started recently. I’ve been using buzzfeed every day for years. Love the content. You do have to take their articles with a grain of salt because they can be EXTREMELY one sided and sometimes kind of rude to the subject they’re talking about, but that’s the media for you.

Buzzfeed is the literal garbage of the world. You know when you pass by a trash can and the smell is so rotten your eyes start to water? That’s buzzfeed. They prey on men and women’s insecurities for clickbait articles and pile this app full of ads. Garbage app from garbage people.

Whatever has been done to the app lately has totally messed up the articles. Now only the first few pictures will load. Have tried closing the app and reopening, have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, have tried using different WiFi and cellular data. Still doesn’t work. This is over multiple articles over the past week. I use this app a lot for distraction throughout my workday and can not access the website from my work computer. Please fix. Funny enough, the ads have no problem loading throughout the article. And most of buzzfeed’s content now is trying to sell me things, which I’m really tired of. Like “25 things to add to your amazon wishlist”. I get that y’all need revenue and sponsored content and posts like that are the best way, but I need a break from all the consumerism. This used to be an escape for me. Now it adds to my social media anxiety focused on all the things I need to spend money on

The writing seems lazy, all the articles are clickbait, and many of the “facts” the use are complete bs. Follow a source to its roots and you’ll almost always find that it has not true credibility. There have been several instances as well where they have been outright wrong. Stefán Karl Stefánsson is number one. Rest In Peace.

The app functions well in terms of user interaction and attractiveness of the design. The meat of the app: the buzz-feed articles and content, are awful, bigoted, cringe worthy, and some of them are straight up plagiarized or faked. Very disappointed.

I have used this app every day without any real issue until now. Whenever I tap on an article, quiz, or anything the page never fully loads anymore. If it’s a list, I get the first 3 or 4 items with the pictures and the rest is blank. If it’s an article, sometimes all of the written article will show, sometimes only half. If there are pictures in the article, I am lucky if 2 or 3 of the pictures show up. I have tried erasing and re-downloading the app, but it didn’t help. It’s getting to the point where I am starting to look for another app to replace this one. I have always liked the content the buzzfeed app offers but only being able to see half of an article is a huge problem. I don’t see the point in keeping this app much longer if I cannot see the content.

The app on its own handles just like any other app optimized for the phone. The content within it is an utter dumpster fire. I have never seen a company so desperate to cling to relevance and stay “hip” by bashing the straight white man. The amount of hypocrisy within the feminism category is jarring. All in all, I can’t recommend this app for anyone that’s not a subhuman user of tumblr or other radical left wing source. There was a time when buzzfeed was tolerable. But that ship has sailed many moons ago.

I love Buzzfeed’s content. There is something for everyone. Every time I go on, I can find something interesting. However, the ads are killing the experience, especially on the app. I get it; Buzzfeed needs to bring in revenue. Ads do that. But recently I have noticed more ads than ever. This would normally be annoying but expected and easy to ignore, except that they are getting in the way. Ads pop open and close, thus adjusting the screen display. I have to scroll up or down, often repeatedly, in order to get back to where I was in an article. Sometimes if I accidentally touch an ad as I am scrolling through an article, I am automatically redirected away from Buzzfeed (thankfully this doesn’t happen as much as it used to). Most recently, and most annoyingly, I have found that article related pictures in the app will not load after the first ad. I have tried reloading articles, reloading the app, and even rebooting my phone. It is simply a glitch of some kind. There has to be a better way to generate revenue without ruining the experience for users.

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your app gave me cancer anyway.

It’s articles are shallow and only designed with the intent of clickbait and ad revenue.

Way too often I attempt to open an article and it opens pop up after pop up, they appear to be an attempt to open Instagram but the pages never load and I have to shut down the app completely to even exit the article.

I love the buzzfeed app! It has so many different types of content that you can spend forever on it! But it gets annoying because when I am on the buzzfeed app for a prolonged period of time the app crashes. First it freezes, and then it exits. Not sure why this happens. But it pretty much happens every time I use it.

I’ve had the buzzfeed app for over a year, but lately it is not working as well. Content, especially in tumblr related articles won’t load. I’m not sure what the issue is but hope it can be resolved soon.

I love buzzfeed, but when I try to sign in on the iPhone app, it doesn’t work. I have tried on multiple occasions, multiple times, multiple ways. either it literally ignores me, or it just says it didn’t work and i should try again. work on this, buzzfeed.

At first I didn't mind a few Amazon ads (not so) cleverly disguised as articles but now it's out of control. I'd say at least 1/3 of the "articles" are just Amazon product ads. They also now appear repeatedly. I already have an app for Amazon and I don't need any help from BF to decide what when and where to buy. Delete!

It is really fun to play when your bored!

Great app, and I love BuzzFeed! Only one annoying problem. Every day, the articles at the very top that play like a slideshow, the screens advance way faster than you could possibly read them. It would be better if you could tap to advance them or at least if they would go slower so you could read them. Other than that, no complaints!

BuzzFeed, I adore you, but you need a few fixes. 1.Why aren’t instagram photos loading anymore?? 2. Why don’t I get a notification somewhere in the app if someone reacts or comments back to one of my own comments? The only way I know if anyone has responded to me is to go back and look. 3. Can we please not have to click on a Twitter link that takes you to another page just to read the entire status?? I want to stay in the BuzzFeed app, not have to go to another site.

With this new update, I thought the issue would be fixed! When I click on a article, 5 other blank pages pop up with Instagram popping up and then I can’t go back to the article so I have to force close the app and when I go back into the app, the SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN! It’s very frustrating when I want to read and article and I can’t. I can’t even bookmark the article fast enough before the blank pop up pages re-direct me out of the article. The next day I can’t even find the article I wanted to read. PLEASE FIX THIS! It is literally your only flaw.

I’m deleting my app and unfollowing buzzfeed on all social media after its becoming very clear that they treat their employees poorly. The way they have handled recent podcast cuts is inexcusable. I think it’s also very telling that the department that was on the chopping block consisted largely of people of color, especially women. I’m done.

I love passing the time on this app, but after the last update I encountered some big bugs. The app crashes 5-8 minutes after opening. And if the app stays open longer than 10 minutes, my phone starts to get HOT and then the app crashes. Once I k*** the app on my own, the heat goes away.

Love Buzzfeed, the app is fantastically horrible. Deleting it and just going to read online until you find a way to make an app that loads articles properly, doesn’t drain a 90% battery to 15% after using, and doesn’t require multiple restarts just to get through an article.

Ok, so this app, no, this site as a whole is absolutely horrible. First off, lemme address the Stefán Karl. He IS and ALWAYS will be number one. The fact that you even CONSIDERED that he wouldn’t be number one makes my p**** retract into my body and shoot out my mouth like a rocket. Lucky for buzzfeed that rocket is headed for them, since I know how humongously homosexual they are and I’m sure they’d appreciate the gift. Now, aside from that, they’re content is dumber than a doorknob on anesthetics. It’s bias is so far left that they make CNN look unbiased. I can’t imagine how anyone who uses their site and believes it’s content and articles are competent anymore, let alone how the people at buzzfeed even function. Buzzfeed appeals to the lowest common denominator, those who would rather be entertained and have their worldview enforced, rather than informed. What are you doing with your life is this is what you use the miracle that is technology? Is Politico,or The Washington Post too difficult or boring to comprehend? I opened this app for the first time and immediately was upset. First of all, the actual design of the app is pretty flawed. It’s supposed in categorical rows and columns, but I don’t know how they’re being categorized. Why is this article here instead of there? I don’t know. This isn’t even mentioning the boring aesthetic. Second of all, in addition to bad form, it was also bad function. The. Content. Is. Garbage. Bordering on useless, the “tips” are dumb. I don’t know, maybe you’ll be able to tell your friend: “She said my horoscope was Pisces, but BuzzFeed said I was a Gemini, so... anyway...” And the articles. The freaking articles are so stupid. Who cares about somebody else’s opinion on some donuts or some crap? Don’t get me started on the quizzes. No, no, you know what? I’m started. This trash app got me started. “Hey, do you want to look at this clickbait test so that an algorithm can tell me who I am?” “Sounds like fun!” I disagree with a lot of the more political opinions of this company, and I agree with H3H3 that BuzzFeed is the McDonald’s of Feminism, but that may as well be the icing on the cake with this app.

Clickbait is the godawful side effect of the modern internet, and all that Buzzfeed does is push this culture of deceit. Their sole intention is to make money, not report news. As a result of this, they will write absolutely anything to get you to read their page and, most importantly, see the ads on that page so that they get paid. They don’t care if it’s true, they only care if you click on it.

I’ve always enjoyed the app until the newest update a few days ago. Ever since then the app closes out suddenly. It’s frustrating being in the middle of an article and the whole app just closing on you.

I love buzzfeed. It’s ridiculous and fun but ever since the new update it’s been crashing left and right.

Ads constantly cycle even when my phone is on mute and there is no video playing. Will not be able to use if this continues.

I love this app but every single time I use it, it crashes. Sometimes it stays open through many articles before crashing and other times, it crashes immediately upon opening. Needs updating.

Buzzfeed used to only occasionally crash, but now it crashes all the time. I use the app a lot less because of it. I don't want to start reading something or taking a super dumb quiz (that I love) and have the app crash. The app is great besides that!

I love this app but after the latest update I get a phantom Lowe’s ad playing in the background every time I open an article. Nothing makes it stop and I can’t find a video playing. It’s just the audio. Even if my phone is on silent, the audio still plays. I hope this gets fixed soon. I won’t be using the app until it is.

Long time user, but the app is currently crashing every couple of uses. I also can’t see a lot of images, including all Instagram posts, and pics from older articles. Otherwise I love this app. My only other complaint is maybe open BuzzFeed comments more often. I see so many fake Facebook accounts, and the Facebook comment section often seems so much more angry and bitter, so might as well let us all talk, eh? Also, maybe make a tab in the quiz section for polls? But overall, I do recommend this app. It could just use a few improvements.

This app keeps crashing and it’s only gotten worse with each update. Maybe fix these issues before you update it. It worked fine like 3 or 4 updates ago but like I said it’s only getting worse.

With the latest update, my phone at randomly plays the audio track to the same commercial every 15 seconds or so. This is while I’m reading articles, or just scrolling on the feed, but not watching videos. I can’t see the commercial or where it’s coming from, and my audio isn’t even turned on. I’ve restarted my phone many times so at this point I know it’s just an app glitch, but it’s one that makes me not use the app since I can’t use it without this app embarrassingly playing audio when I’m in public for no reason.

I usually love Buzzfeed, it’s always been my favorite time-killer. But lately the app has been so difficult to use it’s not even worth it! When I go on the app, it depletes my battery 30% in 5-10 minutes, and makes my phone burning hot! After browsing a little it inevitably crashes and force-quits. No pictures from Instagram ever show up in any of the articles, they’re just grey blank squares. And the ads have made even just scrolling so difficult because the main screen constantly rearranges itself. And given how long this issue has been around, you’d think you’d have found a way to fix it; most of the time when I try to post a comment it either says I can’t, or does post it for a second but when I go back to look it’s disappeared! Same thing with likes and dislikes, they stay for a second but don’t stick. PLEASE fix your app, Buzzfeed. The comments and ads are one thing, but if your app keeps messing up my phone I won’t be able to use the app at all anymore!

I used to love this app and use it whenever I wanted to k*** time but now there’s way too many ads all over the place and articles from a few years back pop up on the ‘trending’ section all the time. It’s hard to find good quality articles.

I get these notifications of interesting articles or posts and I go to them using the notification & it will say “you must be offline” but I have FULL coverage and/or am on WiFi. This makes this happy nearly useless except I can still do your quizzes (which if I’m offline, shouldn’t that NOT work also?????)

I always have to sign in whenever I want to save something. Everytime I use the app! So annoying!!!!

Using app rapidly decreases battery life - like 15-30% within 5 minutes. Causes phone to get very hot, and overall is very glitchy. Pretty much rendered useless with battery drainage, glitches, and phone temperature affects of this updated.

First of all, why can’t we use emojis??!! Second, I can’t post comments w/o them getting cut! and when i try to type the part that got cut into the reply, it shows up as a blank comment!! it’s so annoying!

This just started happening a week or so ago, but with longer articles, the photos after about a 1/3 of the way down don’t load. I thought it was my signal but it happens on my work WiFi, at home WiFi and just on regular cellular network. I deleted the app and added it back and still the same issue. I don’t know if this is happening to anyone else but it’s frustrating.

The only thing greater than the number of adds and unoriginal articles is my dissatisfaction with this app. It’s hard to use, full of one sided discrediting articles and doesn’t have the same feel it used to. Firstly the amount of adds itself is uncanny. It truly proves the only thing that BuzzFeed cares about more than their poor quality content is the amount of money they can make off of it. Secondly many of the articles I’ve noticed have made up their mind about a certain figure and because of that decision someone is continually discredited in the future regardless of what they’ve done for repentance. Finally BuzzFeed just doesn’t feel like the same app I used to love years ago. The updates to the layouts, the type of content recommended and the way I feel disengaged from it all. Hopefully BuzzFeed can get better writers and a more diverse content style which is more accepting to people who have made mistakes, but want to move forward from them. However I don’t see that happening. This is why I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone; unless you personally want to spend countless repetitive hours of your life reading the same content and adds only to realize that you’re never going to get those hours of your life back.

I downloaded the app expecting quality journalism and great interface but buzzfeed failed to deliver either. The articles are almost all clickbait, very misleading or they simply aren’t on important topics. In my first day of using it, the app crashed multiple times. I would not recommend this app.

Every time I’m trying to read an article, there are about three advertisements scattered in the middle of the article that my thumb hits when I try to scroll down. This is almost impossible to avoid. It is very frustrating because then the ad opens on my phone and takes me away from the article. Advertisements never used to be there, and now they are ruining the experience. Buzzfeed is ruining itself for the money. Do not use this app and support their capitalistic greed.

BuzzFeed is a good app except often times when I open an article there are pop ups of some website (I think it's Instagram) that never load, so I have to exit completely out of the app and re-load it just to do the same thing over again. It would be great if I didn't have to have this endless stream of pop-ups every time I try to read an article.

I really enjoyed the silly quizzes and appreciated the articles that were well written and researched. Commenting was a fun way to interact with fellow readers and gain new insight but I began to feel as though they were unnecessarily censoring my and other comments. I noticed they would delete even my most neutral of comments. Comments that were simply thanking someone for correcting or clarifying something would be deleted. My most recently censored comment said “oops! Thanks for the correction...”. I’d mistaken another model as Ashley Graham and said I loved her short hair cut. What was so wrong with that?? Don’t want to support something that wants to censor more than the president.

Every time I scroll over a video, even though I turned off the auto play function, it shuts off music I’m listening to. Please fix. It’s infuriating.

For the last few weeks I’ve had this annoying bug where whenever I open a specific post immediately 4 or 5 pages open and when I tap on the done button to close them down, new pages open and I have to close down the entire app. I then go back to open that post and it occurs again. I don’t know whether it’s just my app or if anyone else is have the same problem.

Overall great app. Only a few complaints, often when I open the app I have to re sign in because of apparently logs me out. And I really really wish there was an option for a night mode, so the backlight is dark. I’m usually on buzzfeed before bed and normally find my way to twitter or Reddit because of their nightmode options

Enjoy the articles but was disappointed that there was a quiz to tell how g** you are, by the songs that you chose. 😐

Its a great app, but to leave a comment you have to have a Facebook, which I think is unnecessary especially since some people don’t have a Facebook account and therefore cannot leave their opinion on an article

I love buzzfeed and read the trending articles daily. Lately I’ve had an issue though on my phone where pictures in articles stop loading after the first couple. I always have to look at my computer to see the full article which is pretty frustrating. It only happens on the app.

About half the articles now are just assorted products with links to buy. They used to do some decent journalism, but I wouldn’t trust it knowing how easy it is to buy favorable coverage. For example look at the (rightly) critical reporting on Uber, while ignoring their partner Amazon’s practices. (working conditions, pay, etc)

I love buzzfeed but I’ve noticed EVERY TIME I go on the app to read a story I have this specific issue! A lot of times the articles include Instagram posts, I’m not sure if this is the cause, but I will be scrolling on my phone reading the article and once I pass over a linked Instagram photo, any text written directly below it will disappear. I see the text at first but then it just disappears before i can read it and no matter how i scroll or click it won’t return. It’s usually a quote by the celebrity in the Instagram and usually the most important point of the article! I’ve updated my app several times to try to fix this so plz do in the next update if you can!:(

I haven’t had an issue with the app until recently. When I’m opening an article I keep getting redirected until I get to a blank white screen that I can’t do anything with. My only option is to close out of the app and try to open the article again, which I get the same result. Please fix this!!!

I love this app and use it everyday..my main complaint is that the pictures don’t load when you’re reading an article. Closing and reopening the app, and turning WiFi on and off doesn’t help it. Please fix it!

If I open an article that links to an Instagram post a slew of pages opens and continues to open until I get frustrated and Force quit the app entirely.

you can’t switch out of this app for 2 minutes without it restarting and making you lose your place (both the article you’re reading and your place scrolling through list of articles) would use it a lot more if you could.

I love the Buzzfeed app. The funny throwbacks or posts, makes the pain of daily world news helps escape for a little bit. But I am not impressed with the new update. Advertisements pop out of nowhere and just start playing, if I wanted to watch ads, I’d watch tv. I love the BF app but ditch the autoplay ads.

Articles with images taken from twitter/instagram/Facebook glitch and crash the app if you don’t have Twitter/Instagram/Facebook. It is particularly bad if you don’t have Instagram. The app needs to be updated for users who want to read the articles but don’t have social media accounts. Pretty disappointing

I seem to be having a problem with the articles you guys place at the top that run through as videos. When they tell you to swipe up to get the full article or see the whole video. I can’t seem to get the page to swipe up and then it switches over to the next little video before I figure it out. I tried searching for once once to see the article but it just came nothing was found. It’s frustrating when the video is about something I’m really interested in.

I’m a big fan of buzzfeed but the most recent update is full of problems. Whenever I open an article that has an Instagram link, it tries to open multiple pages and then crashes. Another issue I noticed is if I’m on the app for more than 20 minutes then it crashes. Hope buzzfeed fixes this soon!

I love it more than life

I loved buzzfeed and used to go on it all the time. But lately I noticed that when I click on certain articles Instagram and Facebook tabs open up and I can’t get out of them. I close the app and open it again but it’s just a blank white screen. This issue never happened before and I’m not sure why it’s happening now. I feel like maybe the most recent update may have a bug in it which is causing this issue to happen. Wish they can get this fixed because my love for buzzfeed is starting to fade if this issue keeps happening.

I use the BuzzFeed app probably every day, and over the last month or so every time I open an article that has instagram posts plugged into the content- the app goes haywire... opens multiple windows to verify what I’m assuming are my log in credentials... before crashing. If the same article is opened in Safari, the content works just fine. Oddly, I’m already logged into my Facebook account through the app- but can’t do the same with Instagram. I don’t know if this is the right platform to report issues but since this glitch makes certain content inaccessible in the app - the version of which I am currently running is the most recently released version - so I wanted to share. Otherwise this is great software from an increasingly journalistic and relevant news pub. Nicely done.

I don’t know if it’s because of the update, but now when I am reading an article it will change to a spam ad and I have to press back and get back to where I was in the article. It’s so irritating.

I like buzzfeed. I’m on the app all the time. But recently it’s been doing this thing where it opens up ads that haven’t been tapped on. It’s so annoying. I’ll be reading the middle of an article and all of a sudden a pop up comes up that’s halfway down the page. Don’t get it.

I usually go on Buzzfeed to take quizzes and check out their shopping lists. Can’t do that anymore because I was getting too many of those spammy “Amazon Gift Card” pop-ups. Yes, even through the app. I got the app to begin with because the pop ups started through my browser. I figured it was just a problem with my browser settings, but no, the common denominator is Buzzfeed.

For some reason when a photo from Instagram is included in an article, the page goes in an infinite loop between the Buzzfeed app and Instagram until it just lands on a blank white page. I’m an iPhone X user, so maybe it is this device but it’s been happening for months. This app was fine until then. Now I have no interest in using it.

I keep getting a pop up saying that I’ve won some Amazon.com prize. I can’t get rid of the pop up unless I close the app. I had to delete it to avoid getting a virus on my phone (and possibly my computer)! This has happened with tumblr articles, quizzes, and anything non-News. Pls advise.

The app with freeze mid article or quiz and I’ll have to close out and wait to open it again because when you open it immediately it’s still frozen, they you have to find what you were doing again. Also the search options isn’t great. I’ve searched specific things and couldn’t find them even though I knew they existed and i had to find them by scrolling through their category instead.

I keep having an error or problem where I open an article to read and it auto opens something it tries to open in safari (eg. like when you click a link and it sends you to a product page) but this is a scam page where it tries to say something about being the 100000th amazon customer. These pages open automatically without me interacting other than scrolling through the page. It seems as if there is a virus or a leak somewhere. YOUR APP IS FILLED WITH SCAMS. PLEASE FIX.

I read Buzzfeed all the time but recently the app and website have been overrun by pop ups. They take you to a fake Amazon gift card win and when you hit back it doesn’t take you back to what you were reading or just refreshes the “sweepstakes” page. It’s getting worse and worse to the point that I’ll likely stop using the site all together. It’s a shame because your actual news reporting can be great.

I’ve had no problems with Buzzfeed for about 8 months now. However, with the new update or something, the app keeps taking me to spam websites and those “congratulations you’ve won $1000 on Amazon” sites. It’s getting annoying because it keeps me off the app.

Ever since the most recent update every article I read keeps opening s***** pop ups. This is why I prefer apps to websites. Pop ups are annoying and sometimes sketchy. Im considering deleting unless there is an update fixing it ASAP.

App is still glitching even after the update! When you open a article it still opens up many tabs that can’t be closed and then freezes the whole app!

I use the BuzzFeed app everyday. It uses up more battery than any other app of mine. However lately I can’t use it properly because of the glitch many articles have of pages and pages opening up and preventing you from reading the article. Over the past few months, the ad experience on the BuzzFeed app has become more and more obtrusive. With yesterday’s update, there is now an ad that pops up and blocks the title of an article. This is insane. If I can’t read the content, there is absolutely no reason to use the app.

First off there are sooooo many glitches from trying to comment and my comments disappearing to STILL not being able to read twitter links. Then there are your articles. Your articles used to be ok and then for some reason they’ve become entirely centered about women and race and feminism and that’s about it. It’s like anyone who is white is somehow wrong. Also the same goes for men. It’s like you’re man hating and for what reason? Your articles are insanely one sided and your app is so glitchy it’s ridiculous

I love BuzzFeed, and I spend quite a bit of time reading articles, taking quizzes, etc... A few updates ago, BuzzFeed appears to have taken away my ability to stop videos from auto-playing, which I hate because (1) if I’m off WiFi, I’m wasting data and (2) my phone is a tad older (iPhone 6 Plus) so the app ran smoother when I could stop auto-play. With how the app has been reformatted on the main page (articles interspersed with videos and ads) and then ads places within the articles, the app is just clunky and glitchy. I find myself having to restart the app often or the app just crashes on its own. I want to be able to stop auto-play again so I can enjoy this app like I used to. I agree with those that find the Twitter links annoying, but honestly if I could get the app to function properly, without crashing or slowing down for longer than 10 minutes, it would be amazing.

ayyyy for a few months now, there are some articles that when you open on the mobile app, you’re suddenly bombarded with like a dozen instagram popups. i think it occurs when you link to an instagram post in an article, but it doesn’t always happen. buuuuut it’s annoying bc you have to restart the app and never get to read the article. also, so many typos... also also, add more dog posts bc those are the best!

Buzzfeed openly displays their bias to progressivism and shames anyone who disagrees with their ideology. They ridicule the POTUS but never have valid solutions to the problems they point out. Buzzfeed and Vox top writers receive “donations” from the Clinton foundation and the DNC.

So I signed up for Buzzfeed a few weeks ago but rarely ever used it. I got the app a couple days ago because I wanted to write and article. I went and signed in and everything, but I can’t write an article through the app. At first I thought, “Well, maybe it doesn’t work very well through the app. Let’s try the website!” So I go on my computer and log onto the website. Everything was working just fine until I logged in. Like I’ll go onto the website and everything’s fine and then I’ll click log in and it’ll take me to the log in page. I’ll fill in my information and click enter, but then it just takes me to a white screen. The page is completely loaded but the screen is just white. I’m connected to the WiFi, I reload the page, I try it again, but nothing. It’s just a white screen. And I tried other websites to make sure it wasn’t just my computer, but other sites worked just fine. No issues. I don’t know it still might just be my computer, but if not, I would really like this fixed so I can just write this article. Thank you!

listen, i love buzzfeed. some articles are s***** but fun, and sometimes i get news from them (not to mention quizzes!), but lately i (and clearly some other users) have been experiencing a “glitch” where when you open an article four or five new pages open up. it goes from instagram to another page that doesn’t load and back to instagram, resulting in me not being able to get back to the article i wanted to read in the first place. it’s gotten infuriating. when i first noticed this was happening i closed out the app to reboot, and everything was fine. that was a while ago, now it’s still happening and not even rebooting will fix it. i have to wait days to read that original article, and sometimes i can’t even find it so it’s become a lost cause. on one hand i’m happy i’m not experiencing this alone, but on the other i think everyone is miserable. once this gets fixed, buzzfeed will be 5 stars.

I can only read like half of the articles, a good lot of them will shut down the app when I open them. They said they fixed it a few months ago, but not with my app. I LOVE buzfeed and this bums me out 😢 fix it please!!!

Don’t download this app, it auto plays videos and it cuts out your music if you happen to be listening to music. I find using FB or a web browser to be a much more pleasant solution. I hate apps that have auto play vids.

This app becomes non responsive when reading articles. Have to close out the app. Also it crashes too much. Some of the articles are repetitive but overall the app is fun. If you don’t like the liberal articles then this app is not for you. Nice to have an app that expresses different opinions & topics that do not pander to traditional views. Just fix the problems with the crashing.

Constantly crashing. I barley use the app longer than ten minutes before it crashes (and no, I’m not low on data. I have the latest apple update. I’m not using multiple apps). Plus, it always logs you out randomly. And while I like buzzfeed’s quirky quizzes and satirical news stories, it’s so annoying seeing an obvious obsession with the Kardashians and with charcoal toothpaste all over the main page of the app. 3/5.

At least once every time I open the app and go to an article it immediately goes to about 10 different white blank pages and then completely freezes the app so I then have to exit out and scroll all the way back down to where I was! It needs to be fixed!

Update 7/9/18: STOP pausing my music when I scroll past your s***** videos and ads! Update 6/19/18: God forbid you want to read more than five articles in one session—the app freezes up, causes my phone to get extremely hot, and the battery level plummets. 3/3/18: Clearly no one tests post format changes in the app, because every time something changes I have to go to the website to view the post. First it was the Twitter posts—half of each tweet shows up and you have to click the link to view the rest. Now it’s the tumblr posts. The first few items in the list show up and then it’s just numbered blank spaces. What is the point of using the app anymore?

I love the app and use it on all my devices but on the mobile app, i can’t sign into or link my facebook so i can like, save, and leave comments on posts. I used to be able to do this but i don’t know what happened. I know on the website you can sign in with google which i prefer so maybe developers could add signing in with different providers or fixing this issue

The quizzes are very entertaining and have me jaw-dropped at some times! I really enjoy just chilling and taking quizzes. Highly recommend!

This app is my favorite. I downloaded this app because I wanted to see the Ladylike videos and I couldn’t find most of them on YouTube that I found on the buzzfeed app. The connection is great and you can see the posts and videos faster. 10/10 recommend.

I love this app-its so funny, informational, and a great way to pass time, but with the newest update, it freezes constantly!!! You have to close the app out entirely and reboot, which looses your place in the newsfeed. Hope the developers fix it soon....

I love the app a lot (I mainly use it for quizzes) but anytime I scroll down in the app an ad vide pops up and starts to play. I’m wasting data because for some reason it takes a while for the ad to actually close.

Really like this app. It's a fun thing to play on when you have a little extra time or are bored, especially if you like quizzes, or are in the mood for a funny countdown, or if you want some quick pop culture news. I do have one request though. I am a very frequent commenter and would love if you had an option for me to easily access my comments from my profile page so I can see how people have interacted with them. I know you can do this on the website but I would love it for the app! One of my favorite things to do on your app is interact with people about the articles, so this would make it much easier to refind articles where I was having discussions with people.

I love buzzfeed quizzes and reading buzzfeed articles. It is my first stop if I want to read something entertaining or if I want to find info on most subjects. The only complaint I have is with the app freezing up on my phone when I am doing a quiz. I use this app a lot and I just love it so much.

Ios update-freezes every 5 mins or so and the only way to correct it is to reboot. Very annoying.

I love the BuzzFeed app because it has so much creative and fun content. I love the quizzes, I do them all time and they are so fun. Whenever I’m bored I always go on my BuzzFeed app and I think everyone should have it because it has something for anyone and everyone.

For the past few months I’ve been having some issues with the app freezing and force closing. It’ll work perfectly for about 10-15 minutes and then just gives up and shuts down. If this could be fixed the app would be perfect!

The app will freeze while I’m doing a quiz or reading an article and I have to close it an wait a few minutes before I can open it again. Also miss the old “design a house” quizzes, there used to be a lot but now I can’t even find them in the search section really.

I love this app and I recommend you getting. It not a scam, it trending and, they keep their fact up to date. I don’t ever think I am deleting this app. It also a great thing to do in you free time!

Ok I love buzzfeed no joke! When I made my account online it worked! But, when I got the app, I put in my stuff and it said invalid username/password! I tried it again many times but every time it was a fail! I’m still trying but failing! I’m about to delete it if it doesn’t work. And before you ask yes I put both my username and email. (I saved my username and password so it should’ve worked).overall good app but needs improvement

I love the app but when I sometimes try to go into a story or something it will shut the app down. But other than that I like it but they do need to fix it because I don’t know if it happens to anyone else

Real news about a FAKE president!!!!!!

It had a decent amount of news on it (skip the political news because most of the time it’s facts are not accurate and are skewed to favor buzzfeed’s own views), and it does allow you to ask questions and have answers to things you are curious about, but too scared to ask. However, minus one star because you can’t delete comments on there and that can get you into serious arguments if one person misinterprets you. When you don’t want to hear negative things, you really wish you could delete comments, especially when some of them are personal answers to posts asking about information on sensitive subjects. Also minus another star because they remake a lot of old posts and make them seem “new” when it’s really not. That gets old really quickly. Minus a third star because a lot of posts aren’t about free speech. At least, not anymore. Now they make it to where if you have a different opinion, you will get SCREWED by buzzfeed. They spend a lot more time trashing different types of people instead of being uplifting like back then. I find buzzfeed is a much more negative environment now, and honestly don’t let yourself down. If you need questions answered or need an open conversation without feeling judged, go to tumbler. That community may be strange, but the people on there truly are open minded and kind and uplifting. Your experience really varies on different posts, some posts people are very supporting and loving and share stories, but that’s far too few, most posts people will say the most nasty things to you for having a different view or suggestion (which is why having a blocking or deleting comments action would be very helpful to make a better environment). After having the buzzfeed app for about four years now, I’m deleting it today because it’s just that poor now.

I don’t like it I want natural app like tasty app it better for I can find search it

A couple months ago, the app stopped letting me comment as a Buzzfeed user and now requires FB to comment (which I log in with but still can't use to comment). As of two days ago, 80% of the quizzes/articles with pictures won't load. People already were having an issue with the way you guys link Twitter and Instagram posts to the app, and it just keeps getting worse daily!

It would be AWESOME if I could view my bookmarks, or actually be able to bookmark things. Every time I try to view bookmarks it gives me an error. This has been happening for over a month now. Really frustrating.

They clickbait and delete comments when they feel like it. The app shuts down for no reason. It signs you out of Facebook whenever it feels like it and won’t save your passwords.

Every time I think BF can't possibly get more ads they surprise me by thinking of a new way to advertise. Also I can't post comments anymore?

The app is always closing before I’m even half way done reading an article and it’s making me want to delete it

Random articles cause your phone to open a million Instagram or Facebook tabs and it freezes up and is super annoying

The last update has made the app SO GLITCHY! Please fix ASAP because I’m about to delete it.

Now whenever I click on anything it just keeps going through white screens until it freezes. Won’t be using until fixed!

I go here and take the quizzes when I’m bored! Super fun

I absolutely love BuzzFeed because it has all these awesome quizzes and articles that you can use in your free time! My favorite part about BuzzFeed is the quizzes, I find the so enjoyable and hilarious!

Always has great personalized content but PLEASE when I click on a link to something on the amazon app - I wish it opened on my amazon app instead of just another internet tab. I have to copy and paste the title over to add the items to my wish list and if there was just this one fix I’d give it 5 stars.

I work at a daycare and play music through my phone at nap time. We are allowed to have our phones as long as the children are asleep. I like to scroll through buzzfeed but it is hard to do because the videos are on auto play as I scroll through the main Page. I need a way to turn those off.

They post articles with cover pictures that horribly affect people with trypophobia and refuse to change it for views. Disgusting actions.

So I got Buzzfeed a while back and it was really fun. But as I took more quizzes and explored the app I noticed some problems. 😬 Every time I clicked on quizzes I would get kicked off back to the homepage. After an update things got better but I still think that some things on Buzzfeed are inappropriate so that makes the app worse for me. Other than that the game is super fun and addictive! I love ❤️ Buzzfeed!

Buzzfeed was my favorite App, unfortunately I hav switched from an Android to an IPhone and buzzfeed won’t let me log in with google. Please fix this or if it’s an error on my part, let me know. I would like access to my hundreds of bookmarked pages. Thanks.

I used to love this app but lately it’s been having technical issues that make it impossible to use. It tries to open up every photo pulled from Instagram in the Insta app and you can’t close them out. It’s getting ridiculous. I tried waiting a week for them to fix it and they still haven’t. Don’t waste your time downloading this until they fix it

Almost every time I open an article in the app, it kicks me out or gets stuck on a black screen. The app is completely useless to me at the moment, aside from reading parts of headlines.

Trying to do a timed quiz is complete trash because of how the app makes you exit the keyboard when you are trying to type in your responses. Hope this is fixed in the near future.

I tried so many times to log in and it didn’t work... I logged in before but somehow it signed me out and now I can’t log in. My sister also had trouble logging in on her phone. Idk if anyone else has that problem, but PLEASE FIX! Ty.

If I’m taking one of those quizzes for fun and I try to scroll to the next question, it jumps back up to the top, every single time. The stories in the categories don’t change as often as that should. The “big stories” category hasn’t changed in over a year and then even the home feed and the news won’t change or rearrange that often. I wouldn’t mind seeing the home page rearrange every time I go on that way I’m not scrolling forever to find new stories. Also, the ads are getting ridiculous. Oh and it would be nice if when we searched for something, it would still bring up stories if a word is misspelled by one letter or even related stories. When I’m searching for sustainable and reusable products I have to come up with 7 or so different words to type into the search bar just to find all the articles.

This is just horrible don’t give that disgusting irresponsible awful owner fame for just letting their dog do this! You own a pet and you are responsible for their LIFE. Last straw, deleting the app. Buzzfeed, your readers care about animal welfare and despise animal abusers. Why would you promote these horrific people?
