Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMPoor resolution, & slow. More than twice the price of Scenic Maps but not half as useful. I regret spending the money.

Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMI should have read the other comments before spending $8.00 on this app. Very poor resolution and very outdated quads. Soberness point in California still shows Garrapata State Park as " San Jose el Sur Chiquito" (spanish land grant) . This change happened in the late seventies. Don't buy this app.

Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMHave tried for several days in a row to load maps. No luck. Consistently receive a server error message. Support/help on the developer web site is minimal to non-existent.
iPhone User 31666's Review of Itopomaps
Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMThe app is generally very good. It's one of a small number that allow you to download topo maps for use when you're out of range of a fast data connection. Unfortunately, the quality of the topo map scans is poor. Topo lines are jagged and uneven. The quality issue is really apparent if you compare it to the maps in another app, Topo Maps.

dwm55's Review of Itopomaps
Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMSeveral years ago, I purchased a Windows based Topo application for north of $100. iTopomaps is much better than that application was. I particularly appreciate the ability to download quadrants, and that Canadian maps are available. The user interface is a little quirky, but not difficult to learn. I would like to have some basic notation tools that I can apply to downloaded quadrants. The freshness and accuracy of the maps are as good as I've seen with the Fisher and MacKenzie maps on the market, which is to say they are pretty dated. If you're looking for accurate portages or trail maps, you should still obtain the latest maps from the park.

Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMI wait and wait for the base map to appear so I can select a portion, but it never does. Support website is minimal at best. Regrettably, this was a complete waste of money.
GeoJoel's Review of Itopomaps
Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMThis works great, had to actually read the directions to figure it out how to use it, It’s not as intuitive as you might think, being a long time Google Earth user, and ESRI ArcMap Tech. I spent 10 minutes frustrated then 2 minutes reading the built in how to use and download maps. My next few hours selecting and downloading the TopoMap for my area of interest and testing OFF-GRID. I am very happy and this and is just what I purchased the iPad for.

Reviewed on 9/5/19 2:10 PMUsed this for about a year but now it erased my downloaded maps and will not re download them as stated in other reviews. I thought it might be a space issue so I cleared a ton of memory. It still doesn't work. Useless without the topos unfortunately. Off to buy another app.
