Aarakelian's Review of Gaia Gps Classic
Reviewed on 11/2/17 4:18 AMDownload the OpenLandscapeMap HD from the layer menu > More Layers > Topo Maps. Its the fastest and cleanest Topo map that you don’t need gaia pro for. The OpenHikingMap HD also works well, but I prefer the Landscape map for hiking. Google “how to add Google Hybrid maps to Gaia GPS” and you should find a few pages showing you how to add Google maps from your computer browser. After setting those up, you will have an absolutely incredible tool to aid you in your outdoor adventures. The default maps are pretty bad, otherwise incredible.
Chihuahua Chick's Review of Gaia Gps Classic
Reviewed on 11/12/17 6:32 PMThough the Classic version worked great with iOS 10, it will no longer import GPX track or waypoint data with iOS 11. I contacted Gaia GPS customer support and after several attempts to fix this issue I installed the new subscription based version. They provide the new version at no cost for two years for those who already have the Classic version. Now both versions work to import GPX data.
