Reviewed on 9/7/19 1:42 PMI was looking for the app that tells you where to stand on the platform for the proper exit based on your address destination. This app is nothing more than a glorified subway map that tells you where the exits are at your subway stop. There is in an app out there somewhere, because I’ve seen it, where you put in the address of where you are going and it will tell you where on the train car to get on so that once you reach your subway stop, you will be closest to the exit of your destination. I wish I could remember the name of it. I thought was it. So basically with this app I paid $3.99 to get a subway map that I could get for free at my local subway station.

Reviewed on 9/7/19 1:42 PMI would give this app 5 stars for all of the hard work that obviously went into it and its usefulness when I go to unfamiliar stations, but the missing 2nd Ave Line is clear evidence that it hasn’t been updated for a long time. This goes beyond missing 4 stops on the Q. Apps eventually stop working if they don’t keep up with iOS upgrades, so the money you pay for this app might go to waste when they release iOS 12.

Reviewed on 9/7/19 1:42 PMI use this daily, even if I visit familiar stations. It’s very advantageous to walk to the appropriate carriage prior to getting on the train, especially if you have a few minutes to kill. Some updates are needed but in general, it’s a top 10 app for me.

It seems like this one is dead and not being updated. Still the best for what it is. But get with the times, you guys! The excited tone of your Hudson yards update (“the first addition to the system in many years!!!”) seems pretty lame when there has been another, more impactful and larger change since then. I still use it because there’s nothing better, but I sigh with frustration every time I go to the UES.

I was shocked to see how high it still ranks in the App Store even though the last version released was 3 years ago, which is a testament to how great this app is - still relevant for the majority of the subway stations. Please please please update!

The one star rating should go to the users who seem to have lost sight of what a nice life they have to have the LUXURY to complain about a GIFT. We have the internet on the subway now. Most apps like this are becoming irrelevant. I don’t blame the developers if they did abandon it...

It has generally been very helpful over the years, but I live on the UES on the Q line and it is incredibly frustrating to open it up and not find the stops that exist. Updated, five stars, no question. But with incomplete information it’s only occasionally useful. Please update and be the fantastic app I remember!

It’s been over TWO years since there was an update. I paid for this app twice. Once on my Samsung. And they made me pay again when I switched to iOS platform. It is like an orphan app which the developers don't care about anymore.

Still the best transit app for NYC even without the needed updates, but would love added functionality. I’d throw a little more cash their way for more updates. Now that they're updating the app again I can unequivocally state it's the transit app I use most often and most value. It doesn't give directions but it's otherwise invaluable for commuting and just being out and about around the 5 boroughs. Great value for the money.

Reviewed on 10/26/17 7:42 AMWhen this app was fresh it was the best. Sadly it has been abandoned by its developers and is no longer trustworthy. It's not just missing the not-even-new anymore Second Ave line. It's missing dozens of station and line changes that make its subway info outdated and inaccurate. When you know that a map is flawed and cannot be trusted, then what's the point? At $4 this is a huge ripoff. But even if it were free it wouldn't warrant a download because it's fake subway news. There are better and cheaper options.

Reviewed on 10/14/17 5:35 PMThis is an excellent happen I use it almost every time I go to a new place on the subway so I can be extremely efficient. But they haven’t updated it since the new NQRW train and it makes me pretty frustrated since the new lines are where I need to know the exits the most.
