I like the new design but there are too many steps when getting a distance between two spots. I use this for golf and it is now too cumbersome. Please find away to integrate the old process with the new design.

I used it to measure multiple distances from a single starting point. It looks like the only way to do that is to be standing at that starting point. Also, the notes pop up after each point you drop is annoying.

I have used the app for 2 years and found it to be a extremely useful, especial when traveling internationally.

Can't work on my iPad Air with iOS 8. I will get refunded in 5 minutes . Bye!

It is exactly what I was looking for.

I don't usually rate apps but I loved this app so much that I had to! Simple in it's usability this app is simply the best distance range finder I've ever used. I'm an avid golfer and use the range a lot but didn't feel the need to drop $300 or more for a bushnell or some other top rated range finder so I've tried all kinds of distance range apps for my phone that either weren't accurate or too complicated with conversions u'd have to calculate on your own. This app so far is very impressive. On the range I can easily drop pins where I feel flags are and it tells me the distance from where I am! Simple. I've also found that if I go on the range when there are no golfers I can stand next to a flag and drop the pin right there and save the location for a more accurate reading. So no matter where the range tees are moved to the app calculate the distance from where I currently stand to my dropped pins. It doesn't get 5 stars because there's always room for improvements like clearer satellite image, more accuracy and better zoom which I'm certain will come from updates as technology gets better but this app is well worth the price!

I have close to a dozen if not more (apps )regarding distance or GPS. This one is one of my favorites . I have spent a lot of hours reading on apps. And their possible uses . I do not think you can go wrong purchasing it. I give 5 stars and it will probably just get better.

Says my location is off west coast of Africa. Does nothing. Complete waist of time.

This is the go to app for measuring distance from one point to another. I've purchased many other similar apps and this is by far the best.

I play a couple courses that aren't on any of the specialized golf apps so this was perfect. I've gotten so used to it and how simple it is that I don't use the specialized golf apps even on courses that are available to them now. Drop pins on each hole and save as a group to save time when you get to the course too. This is perfect.

Provided me reasonably accurate distances for commercial real estate I needed to analyze, to determine how far away it was from key features within the city it is located in.

I use this to find out how far I hit my golf balls.. This helped my golf game tremendous. So many other uses you can use this app for.

Great app and the complaints I read are from the old version. I love it! I shot my deer at 288 yards and now I can prove it!

Great for making your own running routes. Drop pins and it calculates the exact distance. You can set it to add up pin to pin, total distance, etc

Gives point to point distance not road distance, fine if your going everywhere in a airplane which most of us aren't. This is an expensive app for that one crummy distance feature. I repeat, don't waste your money. These people want to get rich off a c*** app.

The trashcan in my bottom right corner keeps removing all my pins and not just the last one :( please fix

Love the app use it constantly very accurate footage. This map needs updated! I use this app for accurate distance measuring and would like new maps to work with!

I like the app but it would be much better if it was an updated map I notice that buildings that are only 2 years old are not on map

Unfortunately after updating it to the current version it no longer zooms in anywhere near as close as it used to. Which is critical for what I was using it for. I used to be able to measure distance between telephone poles- you could see the shadow of the pole and mark the exact spot. Now when you try zooming in all the way you get black squares with no picture. If you zoom out slightly to regain the satellite picture there is not enough detail to mark anything. It is almost impossible to see the property lines, roof details, and edges of driveways that I used all the time to mark distances in the original version of this app. This app supposedly uses Google Maps satellite data but the Google Maps app allows you to zoom in far closer than this app now does. Unfortunately Google Maps does not allow you to measure distances which is why I bought this app. If the author hasn't crippled this app after I bought and paid for it, I would give it 5 stars. Unfortunately the current version is completely useless to me.

Works well though it often thinks I'm in Africa when I'm in Boston. But since it's in focus is not a GPS then no biggie. It's a good app.

I use this to map out my running routes in advance. I like being able to save multiple routes so I can rotate routes through the week. It works pretty well for this and I use it regularly when I am training.

Love this. I'm a law enforcement s***** and its nice for rough ranging multiple distances to locations overlaid with satellite imagery. Just hotspot my phone and connect ipadmini and set markers like a quick range card.

I am an event planner and this APP allows me to measure fields, parks and other outddor venues pretty well for tent placement etc... I wish you could zoom in a bit more and it was not set to place a pin so sensatively, but overall I like it.

This was a terrific app but the update is terrible. Not intuitive, difficult to navigate and very inaccurate

It may be an old app, but I've never tried it before, and I like it! I walk my dog every day, and it's great to know how far we've been. Also, when hiking, I like to map the distance BEFORE I go so that I'm sure my short little dog can make it that far. There's no one to pick you up if the dog tires out on the mountain trails!

I had been using this app with very little problem until I upgraded to IOS6. Suddenly, with your latest app upgrade to suit the new IOS, I can't get it to work: the map doesn't load to any usable level of detail (except continental), and it crashes each time I attempt to zoom in further. Please fix this.

It was a little hard to figure out at first but once I understood it all went well. Very useful!

Really fast download and load time. Really works well on the golf course you can drop a pin to the next hole and see exactly how far away you are. No need spending $30+ dollars on expensive golf gps app. This works perfectly! I also heard the developer is really handsome and is well endowed. Unclipped. Developer now single looking to bang BBW.

I'm a pro golfer and I use this to find my own distances, mainly because I play courses in Asia that are not in golf course apps. It works perfectly. Quick and easy.

I bought this skeptical. But I was amazed on its accuracy using Gps to measure ! I do long range shooting and it's insanely accurate down to the yard !!! Worth every penny. Or you can buy a 200 range finder
