With a lot of drivers using ipads for ELD’s, the ability to use copilot along side the ELD is imperative. This should be a simple fix and hopefully they will do so. Until then i can only give this app 2 stars.

App keeps crashing. Poor routing for a heavy truck. Several exits with truck stops labeled restricted routes. Bridge heights not updated. For a pay app it needs better support.

In all honesty the best map out there. It’s hard to miss a turn with this app or mistake one street for the one that’s 50 feet further down. When I’m close to destination I switch modes to 3D. It’s saved me a lot of headache. I have other GPS systems in my truck but for trip planning I trust copilot. My ETA is always accurate. Active traffic really comes in handy. Several months ago there was a chemical plant fire that shutdown I-10EB in Louisiana. Most trucks had no idea but I did and I pulled in to a truck stop that saved me from running out of time on my clock idling in what would be a 24 hour shutdown. Really love this app. My suggestion would be to update this app for iPhone X. You’ve got more screen real estate. Also, a way to let me know by icon which truck stops are coming up on route. Have you thought about purchasing the company trucker path? I would make them offer. The best of both worlds in one app would be amazing and give Rand McNally and the others a run for their money. Just saying.

Weird how bad reviews just disappear from here.. plenty missing even though no updates in months. Be careful about giving this company your money. You will not get it back even though what you paid for isn't available anymore.

Update streets and freeways more often and also set the city name for example 101 south to san jose don’t set the freeway name I need to know the city where i go.

Omg for the love of God, please make this app stop crashing. It crashes when you close it by swiping it in the recently used apps, it crashes when you turn off the iPad, and sometimes it crashes just randomly for no reason. The worst part about when it crashes is that it corrupts the map files and you have to re-download them! Nice to haves would be making the freeway numbers more visible in the navigation screen and on the route planning screen as well, like on the older version but please, please please, make it stop crashing and corrupting the map files!

Where is iPhone X support for the display to fill the screen. You guys lack regular updates Could be a good gps if you cared

Hasn’t been updated in a year. Won’t work with iOS updates. They don’t care. You’ve paid, the end. Give this company your money if you enjoy throwing cash out the window.

Problem: This version of copilot never works right for me. I have had problems with it ever since the last big update. The values freeze!, And if I run the “clear turn “ option the whole map screen freezes. I have complained to you guys about the problems I have running copilot on my iPad Pro 10.5 inch many times but nothing ever helps. Please update your app program to work well on my device! The app works great well laid out and easy to navigate through the menus.the app does everything I want and more.i really like the option of several routes to decide to take.the maps are nice and clear not like some maps that are too small or cannot be changed from the 4d to the 2d.i can find street names easily and it has the option to use your phone book contacts.a Garmin would have cost me 500 plus tax and insurance this app does that and more and cost 150 dollars so it may not be perfect but I give it a 90 percent out of 100

I've been pretty pleased with the app running on my ipad 3. The features are on par with my stand alone truck gps that I had previously used and the added benefit of the ipad has made it worth the price. My only concern is the lack of updates to the app. It's been 10 months since the last update and with a few noticed bugs and the need for regular map updating I would hesitate purchasing the app again. That said I haven't noticed as many map errors as I did with my Rand McNally TND that was updated almost weekly.

Don't know what you people are complaining about if you set the app up right it works perfectly. Can give my dispatcher ETS within 15 mins. I've got over 500k miles on this app wouldn't give it up for anything. Stop whining and drive.

Purchased the software to use with an IPad to make a navigation display for my truck. While it looks good, the maps are off. It has my location miles in the wrong location, claims there are multiple addresses when there is not and our local landing field for planes is also miles in the wrong place when it's right across from my location. It will not allow me to re-calibrate the maps to put a references in the correct location. Hit and miss, hard to trust it with a large truck !

The app needs to have updates. 12-26-14 We got an update, and it doesn't work at all. Cant put address in.

The worst aspect of the new version is that when there is an on or off ramp closed for construction, the app misinterprets that as the freeway itself being closed, and then re-routes around it which would in some cases involve many extra miles and hours, quite unnecessarily. The only way to prevent this from happening is to disable the traffic service, which is unacceptable. The app also frequently tries to route me along truck-prohibited roads. You would think that a trucker's navigation app would know where the restrictions are! These issues need to be corrected very quickly or I will be looking for a replacement.

Crashes on iOS 7.0.3 on my iphone 5s, only way to fix is delete and redownload, then I have to down maps again, killing me on data, downloaded 3 times at 1.5 gigs each time, gonna demand a refund and reimbursement for data if not fixed soon, crashed to black screen all 3 time dive downloaded ut! Not happy!!!

I used this app for a couple weeks and that's what I noticed: 1. I don't know why it's called USA truck gps. I found here schools but no loves, PETRO, TA signs. I have fuel card that works only in TA and PETRO and I have no idea how to find them. All truck stops are marked only in their exits, not in their true location and signed "truck service". 2. No weight station sound alert. 3. I know that copilot made by ALK - developers of PC Miller. But using this app I think that they really need some driver's advices. I want to see every restricted turn to be marked in red and loud voice that says : " If u"ll turn U"ll get a ticket". After 1 month of using copilot I saw twice restricted roads. 4. Missing addresses, a lot of missing addresses. I am using Microsoft streets and trips 2013 and I found there addresses that copilot can't find. 5. I tried to report the map issue with missing address. But copilot wants me to show that address on the map?! Why not just accept that address in text mode? How can I show It on the map when copilot can't find it? 6. Wrong speed limits. 7. ETA that I do not know how it calculate time of arrival. 8. I want to see ETA, miles, and my speed. Copilot can display only 2 of them. 9. U guys can make quality product that can become really popular. Almost every trucker has iPhone or iPad and wants to have good gps or second gps except McNally or garmin.

I have been using ALK software for years, but this app is the worst piece of junk ever. Directions to ramps that don't exist, streets not there, routing way out of your way, regardless of settings and customer service that is so bad, they might as well just not even have it. I get better routing using apples map app. I strongly advise to put your money into an actual GPS I your vehicle before spending it on this app

I bought it for the semi-truck so I could use it instead keeping the Garmin on the windshield. The routing was sending me down a 14 ton weight limit road with a 40 ton truck in Joliet IL, then in Spokane WA it routed me down a street that crosses RR tracks except they need to build a bridge so I cold get across the tracks, the truck routing is not practical, it routes a lot of US and state highways that save you few miles compared to staying on the interstate but it takes longer, it doesn't have a dashboard that would show miles driven, time driven, time stopped etc, maybe for the automobile it's ok but not for semi trucks, drivers don't waste your money.

In one week of owning this app I have had three issues with its directions. Twice it had me make an incorrect turn to reach my destination. Thankfully both times I was in an area that I could get turned around in another companies parking lot to go the correct direction. The other error was that the system was going to take me on a route that would have been on non-truck approved roadways. Elwood Illinois has restricted roads to trucks. WOW!!! This is truck specific GPS?!?!?! With these three errors in just one week I have to wonder what other issues I will encounter. Since I travel around Chicago, IL a great amount of time I sure hope it knows where the low bridges are at and other restricted roadways to trucks. My confidence is not high at all with reliability of this app. Man am I thankfully I was able to purchase it on sale at $99.99 instead of the normal $149.99. Others might want to spend their money elsewhere though. If Co-Pilot can't correct things quickly I'll get a refund and spend a few hundred dollars for a Garmin unit in which I hear are great!!!!

New update eliminated dragging routes which was one of the best features. Routing now is worse than before and cannot simply drag to correct. 50% of the time the system automatically route you around something that is not there. Example closed off ramp that you are not even using or a ghost issue which is not there. Routing has declined with update. Traffic is still ok but got rid of time to refresh and it fails more now. Program freezes a lot of the time and the status windows for miles or eta will freeze and if you try to unfreeze them be prepared to shut down the program and start again. If going on long trip the program needs you to load trip again after shutting down. Needed to save trip to reload daily not good. The update requires you to start from scratch including remembering your account info. Good luck because without it you have basically nothing again. This version has so many issues including getting used to a whole new outline and process. It is now undependable and more like an amateur GPS for kids than a professional gps for truckers. Thank g** my company copilot GPS has not went to this cheap format. I have warned them of the new version just in case.

I've had it now for two weeks and it still won't run/work. Re-installed it (took two days to load up), voice is turned on, volume up all the way and no voice, only shows my current location from where I turn it on, that's all I get. Files aren't corrupt, this is a new iPad Air which I've only down loaded messenger, fb.

Was happy with it until I upgraded to iOS 8.x Now it is no longer functional on 8.0.2 or 8.1 (yes, fresh install of the app has been tried). They state it requires ios6 or later...but don't be fooled, they don't support iOS 8.x.

New? Updated? The night-time display, is destroyed by the (ridiculous) night-display-ruining white bar at the top of the display... App won't be excellent, until the WHITE BAR, at the top of a NIGHT TIME display, is permanently removed!!!!!!! A no-brainer really!

Why it is that you have a new app out for trucking for ANOTHER $150 that was just updated a few days ago and the one I have hasn't been updated since 2015???

New update has stopped entered texts being visible as you type. Road numbers are too small to be read. Dropping a pushpin is near impossible. Saved pushpins aren't stored alphabetically. It is not user friendly at night. A majority of the colours are disgusting and make texts hard to read. Some of the routing is ridiculous with no logic behind it, and it won't even show some of the most obvious routes. I wish I could get my money back. This app is a disgrace!

Have to rotate iPad to portrait mode to see what I have typed. This is an inconvenience, but is now functional. Thanks for the long awaited update. Keep them coming.

This app is not designed for commercial trucks. The routes recommended do not take into consideration height/weight or commercial restrictions. This is the same app as for regular cars but with a different name. Even though you enter the specs for your truck it does not take these into consideration when recommending routes. Waste of money at this point! Address book does not allow to alphabetize destinations.

Don't pay attention to the comments bc i bought Garmin gps for trucks and it really sucked. I decided to try this app and i am surprised at how well it works. Its not worth the money to get the expensive gps, this app is great.👍👍

Documentation says it will show speed limits and give speed warnings. None of that seems to be true, at least on the main interstates in North America.

This app does not take you down approved truck routes and you will get tickets. Very inaccurate with addresses and will not even get you close to where you need to be. Wish I knew how to get my money back...

Needs some more features added. As long as you get the semi programmed in right it's a breeze to use.

I paid $149.00 for this application. I used for a little bit over a year and suddenly it doesn't want to work anymore. Every time I try to use it, the AppStore keeps asking me to buy it again. I am very frustrated.

(First of all, the bad reviews I read here are clearly from people who did not take time to properly set up the app for navigation. You have to customize the settings to your vehicle.) I have been using the app happily for two years, but the experience is waning (getting worse) simply because the company does not diligently keep the maps updated with clear up-to-date street name and location information and truck stop location information. Surely to build an app like this and put it out on the market must have required a great deal of work. It seems that it would be pretty easy to keep it up-to-date.

Being a truck driver and being able to adjust the route to suite the delivery location is very nice. The basic setting will keep you on a truck route and legal, but when you can manually adjust the directions to avoid certain areas, or for a custom entry and exit at the customers location make it even better.

If I mess with music app, the copilot' audible nav instructions will cease and you get to hear music, but have to watch the visual directions like a hawk, because voice won't pause music to communicate instructions.

Prefer previous map design, we don't need map rotation and would like the hwy signs to be bigger and tap zoom if possible. Improved on the recording route history without having to retype the address again. We'll look forward for another update

I've been using copilot for several years and been quit content. I would have given it a 4 star rating, but I recently was forced to update and the new changes are a huge disappointment and now I would give it a 1 or 2 star rating. I realize that companies need to update their products so they can brag about all the new features, but this one is a case of just leave well enough alone. The changes have me shopping for a new app or even a new device.

Stability issues seem to be a thing of the past, I've been shutting down the iPad each night to spare the battery and haven't had issues with corrupt map files in quite some time now. Wondered if you could please make the freeway numbers more visible in the navigation screen and on the route planning screen as well, like on the older version. That information is quite necessary for us to have, especially when taking bypass freeways around a city and reporting accidents to emergency services. Thank you.
