For some reason the app suddenly wanted my phones location for the FMC, the reason was to get my present position. THERE IS NO REASON for a flight sim FMC to need my real world position. Either the developer intends to allow people to use this as a a real world flight aid. or they are using my location data for something else. Either way I’ll be uninstalling the app.

Looks good but I've tried and tried to get it to work for FSX and still no luck. I've read all the forums and readme files. Airtrack, I'd like a refund please.

Controls are reversed, making flying almost impossible. Also can't read fmc in xplane.

It needs to be connected with the PMDG aircrafts.

Skip this if you fly FSX with Addons like PMGD. It doesn't work with them.

Use this on Xplane, and for real life VFR flights. Simple to use, reads well on my IPhone, way more useful than FltPlan go.

Will not allow me to provide my location. Manual, etc does not help. Keeps "waiting for data sources" WORTHLESS

Compliments to Joao for not only creating a superb add-on, but maintaining consistent support and communication with his users. Running X-Plane on Mac OSX has been brain damage free (Oh how I don't miss the days of Windows and FSX... different discussion), while running the app on both the iPad and iPhone simultaneously in conjunction with Foreflight. Well done Haversine! Highly recommended.

It is actually a nice App....were it not for the fact that the Navigraph FMS database expires after two months :-( Navigraph (token based) database purchases such as the one required for this App, are automatically deleted from your iPad after this time and you loose all your SID/STARS all waypoints, airports, and everything else you would otherwise see on your map. Unless you pay for a database update each time ofcourse ;-) Too bad Aerosofts FMS database can not be used with this App.

Tried ALL the troubleshooting tips but it just doesn't connect to FSX. Maybe it doesn't work with IOS9? Total waste of money at this point.

I used this the other night to set my viewing position up for the #ladee launch. I simply looked up the Wallops Flight Facility and took note that it was @ bearing 200 then used the EFIS to set my view direction. Perfect! and its also great in FSX.

Better than any of the saitek instrument panels--a great way to get a pfd off screen, and it vastly simplifies dealing with autopilot and radio comms.

An excellent app that delivers- you won't be disappointed. Feature-rich and functional, easy to get working. Definitely has become an integral part of my flightsim routine.

I'm building a home cockpit simulator and after flying with AirTrack on the iPad, I'm building slots in my panel just for a pair of AirTrack powered iPads. If you flight sim, this is a MUST have app. No easier way to dial in nav/com and quickly pull up airport/navaid data. My 2 wishes are: 1. Integrated approach/procedure charts from AirNav or something similar...even if this only works with Internet in an integrated browser tab. 2. Some more PFD/MFD display style options that better reflect GA usage, ala Avidyne & G1000.

Rip off. I want a refund for the overpriced NON WORKING APP. If you use Fsx don't buy this garbage!

Need better graphics, but airtrack is awesome and i'll give 5 stars. Plugin vrs 1.4 work very well with fs9 and fsx.

This is a awesome app the makes playing x-plane all the more fun. Hope to see additional features in the future. Please add the fmc

Bought this thinking it would be useful, and it is...when it isn't crashing. I cannot get through 10 minutes without it closing and having to open back up and start all over. Waste of $25

This app is not currently working with X-Plane. It used to work great but no longer syncs with x-plane, and the company's website is down.

I actually find X-plane 10 unusable without this app.

I don't know how I could fly my x-plane sim without it. Also very useful when traveling in my truck. It's surprising to see all the airports in the area that I travel through. I constantly use this app for various other reasons. Wind direction, altitude,etc.-too many to mention. One of the most used apps on my iPhone. Worth every penny. I really appreciate all the updates. I'm surpised more people don't rate this app. Whether you like it or not, I as a regular user would love to see some comments. Maybe someone has some ideas on how to make this app even better? Seems to me like it gets better with every update.

Has made x-plane much easier and more enjoyable, especially when I am just using my MacBook's built-in display. One request, would it be possible in the future to edit FMC entries, specifically changing the altitude for them? If you enjoy x-plane, I highly recommend this program!

Works very well with fsx. Great for IFR flights, Vatsim, and anything else I throw at it. You must download the plugin from the website listed in the description. Once installed and flight has loaded, view 2D cockpit. The app will locate your ip address (in setting menu) and then connect. You control comms, NAV, sqk, view flight plan in different types of maps, view flight plan progress, and find vors/ndb's/intersections/airports. There is much much more! You can't not edit flight plan in the app..only downfall. I love it!!!

This is a really handy app for X-plane and real flight alike! I use this app all the time for planes that have hard to read instruments. Runs smoothly except the new iOS 7 interface can be confusing with the new colors as to what is on and what is off.

Very impressed by this. Easy to install and had a question which support answered within hours (I had accidentally checked RC and the iPad was controlling the pitch/roll/yaw without me knowing it). Am using this with X-Plane 9 on a MacBook Pro. I run AirTrack on my iPad and an iPhone 5 (EFIS on iPad and comms/autopilot on the iPhone 5). It is incredible. Looks so real. Allows you to use the full screen front view mode and not touch your keyboard if your joystick/yoke has enough buttons. It totally overcomes some of the hassles of 2D flight decks found on sims. If you have an extra iPhone I suggest also getting X-Mapper Pro, so you can essentially also track your journey using Google Maps. If you are serious about simming, AirTrack lets you build your own flight deck very easily. Three 16 gig wifi iPads laid out beneath a widescreen monitor provides a quick/easy glass cockpit with touch screens and high-res graphics. One app streams the data to multiple iPhone/iPads. Get a good joystick/yoke and some rudder pedals, as many iDevices as you can afford and a big screen monitor and you are set! (You need a wireless router obviously) Anyway, I recommend this highly. It is very easy to setup too… and it just works.

This app is all inclusive and does the work of many apps in one!

Could not get this to work on any fsx machine to start with. Once you figure out why the iPads are not connecting, and windows blocking , and wifi not having multicast enabled, this is a nice app. This instrument works better than most or all remote apps for cockpit builders. Hope you continue to supply us with great apps! Would love to see FSX F-18 apps! Thanks for the great work

awesome flight sim app with functions that are not available in other similar flight simulator apps. Very sad to see no longer works in Prepar3D V4.3 (v4.2 works) also works in Xplane V11. Hope that the developer updates this app to work in Prepar 3D V4.3 as many other users in the forums are also updating to v4.3 to resolve bugs and added features in Prepar3D

This works great with Xplane. The Garmin 430 GPS systems are very limited in XPlane 9.7. This app makes up for it big time. You now have the ability to enter a flight plan instead of constantly going direct to airports, VORs, or fixes...This app has a radio stack for comm and nav radios. Much easier to enter freqs. Has vatsim freqs., charts, efis. It really is an awesome app. Works wirelessly. Worth the money. Better instructions for plugin placement would make the setup and install easier. I initially put the whole Airtrack folder in my plugin folder, didn't work. Switched that out and just put the MAC file in the plugin folder and it works great... Thanks for making this!

What a great all inclusive app. Great support, and lots of regular updates. Can use on multiple iPads and iPhones at the same time. Buy this! It's worth it! Don't believe that this app is non working. You must know your wireless setup, and understand how multicast works. Some access points don't support it.

Updated app to ver 3.9.3 today on iPad os ver 9.3.5 and only a black screen for a second upon trying to launch. Help!

I was uncertain if I should give 4 or 5 stars, but I definitely think this app is but one more dagger in the heart of the Jeppesen/Garmin hegemony ... and that's probably reason enough to give 5 stars, but I'll stick with 4 for starters. New technologies *should* drive costs down as it drives capabilities up, and this app proves that. I was particularly pleased when my Bad-Elf GPS did it's thing, even with my wi-fi only iPad. I'm almost tempted to buy a 3G model just for the opportunity to experiment with its real-time weather access. One area I would improve is that of scalability and readability with somewhat larger font sizes, and include the ability to zoom the range rings down to 1, 5, and 10 N.M. And incorporate the U.S. 56-day database cycle into the app, and you've got 5 stars.

Does not work with X-plane 9 or 10. App also does not open. Keeps crashing.

I love this app on so many levels. I was savings up for it and was disappointed in the sudden $9 spike. However, now that I've purchased I'm trying to just enjoy what it offers. It is amazing on all accounts. It takes a bit of getting used to but I can see why people would never fly without it again. Two things: one (and this one is minor). For realism, a cdu page that looks more like the computer in the cockpit with touchscreen buttons etc mimicking the cdu in the x-plane cockpit. Two. And this one is HUGE! Perhaps worth knocking down to 3 stars (I gave the developers 4 stars for the apps functionality). In terms of prolonged use this app is frustrating. I already have an updated AIRAC set on my computer. I can't upload it to this program to use. I must purchase a token (WHICH EXPIRES) in order to have current charts. So, for realism sake, this program is no good in the upkeep arena. You can get the material from xplane but w/o the star/Sid and airways. I can manage the approach plates, that's a convenience. But cross continental flights, airways are a big help. Please change this so we can use our systems to their fullest. Thank you. Blue side up.

I bought this app a couple of months ago. It has proven to be a wonderful add on for X plane 10.

I use this all the time for simulating instrument flights on X-Plane and as a quick chart reference as I learn to read approach plates. It does an excellent job for both of these. Further, customer service is excellent! Had a small issue with an in app purchase, contacted support and he dev got back to me in 5 minutes and had a fix in place by day's end (mileage may vary depending on devs schedule and difficulty of problem.). Great to see a dev really throwing himself into his app, really appreciated the fast, friendly service. Bottom line, if you need a chart reference, especially for XPlane, this right here has got you covered!

Really, really cool app. Greatly enhances the X-plane experience. Price may seem a little steep at first, but considering how much sim hardware costs and how much functionality is built into AirTrack, it's well worth it. I use two iPads, one for PFD and one that I toggle between MFD and COMS. They integrate seamlessly and instantly with each other, and with the on-screen controls. I cant recommend this app enough. Perfect for the mid-range sim enthusiast who doesn't want to break the bank but wants more than the standard, out-of-the-box experience.

Since the recent update some ICAO codes ain't showing up and on the FMC that shows you the heading of your waypoint freezes up(using iPod touch 4g)...please fix asap this app is a 5 star

Best app for x-plane ever! I can not imagine myself flying without it! Some suggestions: 1. make it so when your on VATSIM, you can hear the airtraffic controller's voice and can read the text!

I have built a full scale Beechcraft C 90 king air. As I looked endlessly for a cockpit that I didn't have to wire a million switches. Then I found air track. Does everything I need though multiple ipad and iPhone. Amazing.

Just one word:AWESOME. I fly in FSX and have built a six monitor simulator with all go flight modules. This app on my IPAD has added that final piece I had been looking for. This is meant for the serious simmer who really wants to enjoy flying using waypoints and needs useful info like the magnetic heading of the runway for a perfect ills approach. The efis is simply great and the graphics silky smooth. Just an fmc will cost over $400. This app gives me even more. Definitely worth it.

I am now using this app every time flying FSX. It may not work with all the addon planes such as NGX, but it works great with all the planes I flew. It does pretty much EVERYTHING I need when flying, like control the autopilot, set the raido, look at the FMC, and it has built in data base which is super convenient for checking out VOR, NDB, airports, etc on the fly. It's priced at $25, but it's a steal if you consider, as someone already pointed out, it does the things that would otherwise require you to buy multiple apps. For instance, there is an app that only does the radio in FSX and it costs $15... The app can certainly benefit from a bit more polishing on user interface and display layout. But right now it's perfectly functional. It does not upload flight plan from app's FMC to FSX, but it downloads flight plane from FSX no problem and makes it really nice to monitor the flight on iPad.

I have waisted my money with cheaper programs trying to get this type of functionality and connection to my flight simulator and accurate enough to use as a secondary reference in a cockpit. It's a bit pricey at 25 bux but still worth it considering it is multiple functions within the app, such as efis mcp Pfd vor ndb localizers GPS connectivity and no problems at all connecting to sim via wifi. Speed In knots comm navs and it goes on and on. I myself have 2 iPhones and 2 iPads. (My wife's and my own) so it's great for using all of it features across all our iOS's. I would suggest connecting your iPhone to a monitor via an adapter, to have a better pfd viewing. For simmers. Here us an ideal setup. Purchase two older itouch's and two 15inch LCD monitors along with this app. And bam. You have your glass cockpit. For less than 200 for everything. Another 100 for yoke and throttles and your on your way. Good luck. And enjoy. I'm a happy camper and you will be to. Also take a look at remote flight cockpit for iPads as well. Well done! The integration with X-Plane is flawless. I use my iPad as CFD and my iPhone as COM. It works so well that I built a cockpit just to hold my iPad, iPhone, and yoke. Now I have a reason to buy a second iPad (#1 for PFD & #2 for MFD). Free flight route creation service on there site works perfectly -- automatically syncs saved routes to all devices. Completely worth the money. One request ... I'd love to see an option to change the instrument style (maybe a setup like a Cessna 172?)
