Great If they keep it updated!

This is a good app. It does have search from current location, but it would be nice if you could search from pin drop.

This App has misleading advertising. It is worthless, unless u buy the expensive monthly updates by region! Don't buy it!

Just downloaded it. Went to my airport FBO, no AWOS frequency, checked others I knowv and same story. Also stated high landing fee for McClellan MCC, totally incorrect. Lowest fuel prices and no fee for landing light aircraft. Raises question of other information. Otherwise easy to use and provides useful information.

Just downloaded this app and have already found several mistakes. For the amount of money not that much useful info.

This app is great. But some airports don't have updated maps!!!!!!

Great app, like others though, having a few issues with the app closing out when I select the frequency tab. Otherwise useful tool.

Indicates "world edition" but for the 6.99 only get US?? Not worth the purchase. Misleading description. Would like my money back!

For the price you need to add airport diagram large view and if possible taxi diagram. Aopa is free and has a lot more info and detail.

Well done. Especially like the satellite view of the runway and surrounding area. The amount of data and information is impressive and all for .99. Thank you!

Every pilot should have this app

Requires frequent and expensive updates. Program is of limited value inflight; it needs a Internet connection of some type to utilize all it's functions. Don't waste your money.

Awesome a must have and cheap

All the information you need for airports in a simple but extremely informative format especially when you need it the most. Only downside is my database airport info has expired and can't find a way to update it

I just downloaded app at 0400hrs and discovered the facilities data has expired on Oct 22. I E-mailed support and within minutes got an answer. Apparently, update held up at app central. Otherwise, great tool!

This is a great tool for aviators. The approach plates are very handy, and of course the weather is just what you need.

What an extremely imformative app, and for only $0.99. The developer did their homework on this one, put so much information in, that you can almost do your flight planning from this app. I have to say it is now one of my favorite avaition apps. I really believe all pilots should invest in this app, you won't go wrong.

AWOS info missing. AOPA Airports much better.

I use this app a lot, but I wish I didn't have to buy info for each area of the world.

Paid for this but the database expires often and they want money to keep it up....fine, but if you don't really have to have a super current database it will constantly remind you for EVERY page you look at! Just annoying!!

I purchased the App together with the South African database a month ago for a whopping $11.98. The database was incomplete and I sent information to the developer to assist in getting the database up to date. Just downloaded the latest update for a further $0.99 and the database is as incomplete as it was when I bought it a month ago. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this app. These guys do not use the info sent to them to update the app - they take your money and do not deliver.

The userface is good. Well laid out, with lots of options. Great refrence tool!

Good App! Runs well! Excellent visuals! Will be even better when they follow through with plans to add more info like ATC freqs, FBO info & ability to search by city name. A little pricey for additional databases, but you'd still pay more for a world wide ACK-U-KWIK & without the visual aid of Google Earth maps or $.99 database updates!

My hope was that with the latest update they had update the airport frequencies. I guess that I wished for too much. Some airports have frequencies and most only list the UNICOM freq. It does so for LAX, BUR, ATL, JFK, and many more. USELESS! It needs tower, ground, & clearance & delivery freqs.

Is there any way you could add FBO's with contact information for each airport? If you could provide this data, this app would be a 5+ star!!

.....If you like to look up info on airports near you only. It works great for your local (the country you live in) airports, but I like to browse other airports on other countries. I refuse to pay $4.99 for a single other region (or $99.99 for the entire world). Not to mention you have to pay $.99 every couple of months when the system updates, therefore, I never update it either. So if your looking to browse airports near you with this app, don't update it, and if your looking to explore the rest of the worlds airports, your better off just looking it up on the web. Save your money.

OK but nothing special

Tremendous app: very useful and helpful, with lots of important information at the touch of a finger. It's a wonderful and welcome supplement to my other piloting apps; it's great to have those details available off-line. It's very reasonably priced, as are the database updates. I'm looking forward to the iPad version.

This app like many others is under continual development. I bought it and downloaded many of the nation states in order to better understand what the developer has in mind. The concept is good and for me has the potential to be really quite useful. I think we need to see where Awele and his team can take this app ;-) For me it isn't where the information comes from, it is how it is arranged and presented for the user. Dictionary - Novel? Lots of info an nice map integration. Good to have offline at some remote airport or location. Not sure if anyone would actually think of taking out their iPhone when their engine quits like the description says but useful nonetheless in other situations. AOPA should use the instead of that crappy interface by Foreflight used in their free app.

I can't believe I didn't read the reviews more closely and I just wasted $7 of my hard-earned first-year probation pay on this piece of crap app. It is NOT a world edition if you charge me more just to get basic functionality in places like Japan (where my company flies often). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You'd be better off buying a Jeppesen subscription.

Worth the money, not just for flying but i call on airports for work too. FBO contact information would make it hands down the best aviation app out there.

You Mac and dedicated IPAD users will probably roast me for saying this, but my iPad is a tool only for me. Just like this app. Very functional and easy to use. Am looking forward to more utility, but for now, well done.

Great app for quick reference. Very usefull.

There is now an option "all land runways", which is what I need in an SOS context. Cancel my previous gripe; but I wish one could set it up as the default. The previous version was happy to start up with out-of-date GPS data; I have not yet checked whether the new version does.

As a private pilot, I really like this app and find it quite useful, not least 'cos the price isn't really that high. But, it could be more useful if: 1. It would allow me to search on the first display page not only by airport identifier but also by airport name, or even better by airports near (choose your own radius in miles) a major or minor city. 2. It's cute to include all the foreign countries but I suspect few of us will be flying to Albania Latvia or wherever. It all tales up memory. Please let us select which if any countries we want to be able to 'browse."

I like to use it to plan way trips when I have nothing else to do. Worth all 99 cents
