None of my music will add to a playlist on the app. I use Apple Music, and every time I try to add a song, the app says it is removed because it says it doesn’t support music from 3rd parties. The 5 songs that did download won’t play. There is an error message that says “couldn’t get sample buffer”. This app is a scam. I want my money back!!!

If you use and download substantial amounts of music from Apple Music beware those songs won’t work with this app. So essentially my entire library of music was rejected and won’t play in the app. Developer needs to provide clearer warning of this before wasting $5.

Love Tempo Magic because it is easy to import songs and modify beats per min — super helpful for organized exercise activities. However, it is NOT compatible with Apple Music. Had I known this sooner, I would definitely not have purchased the app. The majority of songs I want to speed up or slow down are Apple Music downloads, so this limitation is quite frustrating.

If I would’ve known that I can’t use my music from iTunes I wouldn’t have downloaded the app! I know it’s just $5.99, it’s the principle of the matter!

What happened? The text is too small. Adjusting the pitch is more difficult than the original version.

I’m pretty tech savvy, but I can’t figure this one out. I’m trying to add a playlist, or rather ANYTHING from my iTunes library (all downloaded from the cloud) and whenever I do, I get the error message below. What gives? Please tell me there’s a simple fix. Hate to think I’ve just wasted $5.99. There was a problem adding tracks If you use iTunes Match, please download the tracks you’d like to play. Additionally, Apple does not allow third party applications to access DRM protected tracks (annotated as ‘protected aac’ in iTunes on your computer). The following tracks have been removed:

As an Instructor for almost 30yrs. I thought CD's were great! Then the scratches and the burning and then no more CD players. All iPod/phone playing was born. If your music was a little slow...too bad so sad. Can't use it. Can't pitch it up! This App is awesome! It has opened my virtual music box up and re-invigorated all my classes! Thank you! I’m sorry to say but I do not like this updated version of Tempo Magic. I have been using this app for years in all my classes. It used to be easy to adjust the tempo and skip to next song and now there is a delay. When your teaching a class you can’t have a pause or delay and it’s very difficult to adjust the tempo. Everything was super easy to use before and flowed excellent!! Please go back or fix. As a instructor I don’t have time to handle my iPod. I want to push a bottom and have it respond immediately. Please Help

This app is so excellent! It does exactly what I need. I'm so happy I found it!

I wish there was a way to get the old version back. This new version does not lock the BPMs for an entire playlist like the previous versions. It resets for each track. Please bring the old version back or fix this one.

I instruct cardio kickboxing classes and was hoping this $6 app. wouldn't have the breaks in it that it does. At least 3 seconds of silence in between songs makes for terrible kicking and punching transitions.

This app is great for a workout I highly recommend it.

It's been good for a while, but now it's time for improvement. Please make compatible with Apple Watch! Also please make pitching more fine-grained.

Every time I update this app all my programmed BPMs and play list are erased. 1000s of songs worth gone. Please fix this issue!

This Ap is everything! I use this Ap in every ballet class I teach, it allows me to select the right tempo for each exercise, and cater the music to my students abilities. What happened to this app? The latest version does not have the option for high definition. Tracks have an eco when you slow them down and the music sounds distorted. I am so disappointed!

Can you guys improve an app by adding a time of all songs together? Im teaching 60 min class and every single time calculate duration of a playlist. Also,when I'm adding songs to playlist and I want to hear them first so play bottom would be perfect. Other han that Im pretty satisfied. Thanks.

I am a fitness instructor and got this app to adjust the tempo of my songs. Keep in mind that you have to use downloaded music to make this work. If your someone like me who makes Spotify or iTunes playlists, this is worthless. But if you have a good amount of your own music downloaded on your phone, this could be ideal for you. The biggest problem when using it, however, is that sometimes it totally won't play your song because it can't find the bpm, even after I have already set it previously. So my playlists become choppy and never play all the way through. I just stopped using after a while.

Doesn’t work!!

No wonder it’s buggy. Last update was a year ago. Is it won’t let me add any music at all. It really should just be taken off the App Store if it flat wont work!

I bought the app because it said I could use music in my iTunes library. False! Every single song or album I tried to add came back with a block that iTunes does not allow third parties access to their library etc.

It would have been nice to know it doesn’t work with Apple Music. What a waste.

I have been using this app for nearly four years in my Cycling classes. It’s been nothing less than extraordinary. Have you ever wished a song was just a bit faster or slower without the quality of the vocals being affected? This app does this. You cannot use Spotify, Apple Music, or other services. You can only use music you purchase through sources like ITunes.

I would like a full refund please because it’s not working with the songs I want . Is that possible?

I have used this app for years. I agree with previous reviews that the updated version, within the last week, is horrible. You will adjust the pitch and when the next song comes on it will return to the original pitch, even though you still have it set to pitch up/down. So you have to stop, “reset” the pitch and then adjust it again to the desired pitch. Annoying during a press play and go class. I have also had issues with it stopping in the middle of songs. Not sure what they “updated” but it was not a positive for the app.

I like this app very much. My suggestion to improve it would be the ability to change the tempo of songs individually within a playlist. I might take a CD that each song is 128 bpm but I want the first four songs to be 136, and then the remainder to be 120. I have to stop class and manually change it. If I could change each song’s Tempo individually and save it, it would be fabulous!

I was reluctant to give up my CDs because the CD player had a pitch control. With this app I don't need the CDs anymore. It really works seamlessly. It's an excellent app.

This is a good app if you have favorite music that just isn't quite the tempo at which you want to run. I use it every day, having gotten used to the Lolo apps ability to work with tempo. My only complaint is that it does not retain my music library. Every day when I open the app I have to re-add my playlist before it will find my music. Even when I save and it asks if I want to replace the existing music and save, it still does this the next day. It's not hard to do esp since I created a playlist just for running but it would be nice if it would stick. I have the paid version so it seems like a glitch, or simply user error, although I have tried multiple times and ways to figure it out. I use this app with another app called Intervals when I no longer use any of the Lolo apps.

You won't be able to use this app if you have downloaded music from Apple Music!! We use apple family share and I can't use any of them at music. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time...I would not have paid for this one!!!

I used to love this app. I loved it, especially for my long runs, but then something happened. It got rid of ALL of my music I had on it, and I got a message saying Apple wouldn’t let me use the music I had downloaded from Apple Music. What?!? Why?!? I’d been using it just fine, and now I can’t? This is infuriating. I would give it zero stars, because I paid for something I can’t use. It gets one star only because this is the only way I’m allowed to send this review.

Please make an Apple Watch version!!

I love this for teaching ballet class! It is a lifesaver when my students need to try an exercise a bit faster or slower or when I love a track but the tempo isn't perfect for level I'm teaching. The app can't get the Beats Per Minute of most of the tracks I use, so I haven't yet been able to pre-set the tempos on a playlist, but I haven't really felt the need for this feature.

As I dance teacher, I must have the ability to slow down, and slowly speed up, songs at my whim. This app is perfect for this. Just add the song I need and play it as many times as I want to at different speeds. I can even slow it down or speed it up while the song is playing! Perfect for me.

Love, love , love this app. The only thing I really miss is being able to lock different pace for different songs during interval workouts. Once I can set it that way the fifth star will be added by me for sure

I have been using this app for years and have loved it. The latest update has removed the option to change either by bpm or percent. It is now only by percent and this cripples me now as I have been using both options for different classes. I don’t have the option to babysit my music as would be necessary. Congratulations on making something that was working so well, suddenly so useless.

Can add multiple playlists, everything goes into one playlist. Drives me nuts. The only good part is the tempo control. Needs fixing.

This app works great for me but would be nice if it worked with my Apple Watch. Classes don’t always go as planned and I find my self using Apple Music more just so I can switch music easily from my wrist.

This app is so awesome except when it's playing music it's not supposed to be playing (which happens at least once a class for me). I've figured out that when I replay a track (for our "Turbo" section) I need to completely shut the app down and restart to continue the class, otherwise it plays the track ahead of the one that's listed (it plays the wrong song). If I don't restart the app but manually make it play the correct song I will be stuck doing that for every track for the remainder of the class (annoying to say the least, our class is continuous cardio, NO BREAKS!!!!). Occasionally the app gets REALLY screwy and I delete it from my phone and reinstall, fingers crossed that works. Just now I was practicing and in the middle of a track the music started over from the beginning, although it still listed the correct track (about 35 mins into the class). I wish there was a better app out there but I haven't found one with the same functionality this one had. I even paid for the "pro" version of tempo magic. This silly app has been driving me nuts for years! Someone please fix or make a better one!!!!!

This app enhances my workout experience every time I use it. Being able to modify the bpm is genius!

The text is too small!! I loved the old player, I can barely see my songs now....the app works great, I’ve been using it for years, the support is great too, quick response always....just enlarge the font on the new player, I can be using my reader glasses in class!! Lol, thanks
