This IAA Crashes my FL Studio mobile EVERYTIME. Not getting my monies worth at all so far

This app has some of the thickest and lushest sounds you’ll get in the App Store. As an owner of an actual JP-8000, this synth is reminiscent of those sound patches. It’s easy to start buying too much stuff but if you’re quality over quantity, this synth should still make your cut.

This one is the most useful synth out there. I had a project running in AUM that maxed out my iPad regularly. I bought Sunrizer and switched out the synth I had previously used and the DSP percentage went down to 37 percent. Also, Sunrizer sounds better in that spot. I win. If you tweak sounds, this is for you. If you’re like me and you just use presets, this is for you. Being an audio unit makes it even better. Pass up the others and buy this one first.

Great adaptation of a classic synth but super buggy on garage band. Has trouble scrolling through banks (kind of freezes up) some sounds don’t play back accurately after recording in midi.

This is by far my favorite iOS synth. It’s just SO well laid out and sounds so good, I keep coming back to it. It seriously has so many features packed into a really usable interface, it feels like a nord keyboard, on steroids, on an iPad, emulating a jp-8000 I am planning to buy zeeon, (the devs new synth app) but I hope he maintains this one, because I’ll never stop using it.

Bought this when it first came out and still using it years later. Just one of the best, most versatile and fun iOS synths there is. Great job beepstreet

Have had this app on my iPad for quite a while but with the recent upgrade this is by far one of my favs has so much character and auv3 all I can say this is a must have synth hands down wow

If you liked Roland's JP-8000, you will love this app. This app has much the same style and feel of that classic synth. And it is even better now with AUv3 support!!! It is amazing this synth is as rich and warm as it is for a Virtual Analog (VA) app that it is. The controls are very responsive and the sliding keyboard is a brilliant idea, and it is very straight forward to program. Ok I admit the apeggiator is a little odd, but then again I have yet you come across an apeggiator on any hardware or software synth that is naturally intuitive to program. Unless you just hate warm subtractive synthesis, you will be happy with this app.

I have had Sunrizer for several years now, and have long been very impressed with its capabilities and sound quality. Extremely flexible and useful arpeggiator and sequencer. AND, a long time coming and finally included in the newest update, Sunrizer is AUv3!

Sunrizer has been an all time favorite of mine for it’s sound designing capabilities as well as it’s simple and beautiful one page GUI. I love the fact that the keys can be hidden when docking the effects section, so I have everything on one full screen while using a MIDI controller. I have often used Sunrizer in my hardware setup with my MPC. I never cared for AudioBus or IAA much, so I never used it much with other apps. But now with AUv3 added, I’m excited to be running a few instances of Sunrizer in Cubasis along with many other AUv3 instruments and effects.

There’s still nothing else I’ve found quite like the JP8000 emulation on offer in Sunrizer. It’s so _good_ - fun to play with and invent and with so many free presets available from amazing artists, if you don’t want to explore the full depth of sound/patch design available in Sunrizer, it’s very easy to just pick up something that sounds _great_ and go play. Updating to AUv3 is a huge step forward for Sunrizer too - it’s so much better for the current state of the art in iOS music workflows than Inter-app Audio that there’s no comparison. I cannot wait to quit writing this text and get back to playing, so I will leave you with: If you like making music on your iOS device and you don’t already have Sunrizer, there is no reason not to drop some cash on it right now. About synths on the app palace. And it’s a whole bunch of the same thing with different presets and ways of going about the synthesis. A lot of the same thing in different packages. This one is unto itself. It’s everything I want in a synthesizer. Not a sampler. I want a synth. This thing is as complicated or simple as you make it. It really is a very special synth. Enjoy it.

Too much to say about this synth so I will make it simple. GO GET IT NOW.

I am having issues recording my patterns into AudioCopy. I am able to set it to record and it records the way file. But when I click on AudioCopy all it does is tell me that is copied to the general pasteboard. When I launch AudioCopy no trace of recorded file is found. How do I work this issue out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sunrizer doesn’t load as an inter app on my iMPC so I am running it standalone and just trying to copy out.

This is a cool app. Please offer it as an AU.

This app is incredible.

I own almost all music apps, but there is no track l work on without Sunrizer’s unique sound. The possibilities are limited by only your imagination. It is priceless from all points of view, a treasure to enjoy for ever.

Powerful Deep, but accessible An essential IOS synth

In every regard, this is the best synth app for the money. Rich and deeply textured while delicate and expressive. I love this thing.

Very fun, great sounding.

My only request is maybe an all-presets view that shows everything in all banks, but the sounds from this thing is INCREDIBLE.

Early mover, and very well done. The sounds sound terrific and so is the level of control. The only problem you can have is that now it's more up to you...we can no longer complain about that $3000 synth we don't have to compete vs Mike Oldfield... Too much power. Are you ready? Your wallet surely is.

Sunrizer is great app. I love all the sounds it has to offer and it's definitely one of the best synth apps out there toddy. I try to use it in every song make in one way or another and it has served me good so far. They only thing is with all the over welling great collection of sounds, I wished their was a search felid so you can search a sound your thinking of and it would just pop up right there for you.

I am a professional keyboardist using multiple virtual Synths and sampler for my gigs. Sunrizer is my go to synth....and the one I keep finding myself using first before other synth apps. It creates atmospheric patches like no other. The only flaw I find and one that I hope can be amended is the lack of a compressor. Sunrizer is very sensitive to volume, and any sounds that go into the yellow zone on the amp begin to distort at levels where other iOS synths do not. A compressor would easily resolve this as it does in other high quality synth apps. Other than that, I love Sunrizer.

I used to own the JP8080 along with countless other (Nord Lead, Access Virus, Novation Supernova 2). This is even better then the original! The sound is a little more aggressive & I like this distortion much better. The big advantage that Sunrizer has is it doesn't have settings buried in sub menus and you don't have to navigate using a tiny low res LCD. BeepStreet plz do the Access Virus next! I have the waveforms if you want them.

I've been using Sunrzer since its release on iPad back when it was called Horizon. I was blown away. It was really the first synth I'd ever used and honestly I'd always found them confusing. This was very easy for me to start learning with and it's sounds are so good that no matter how many synths get released for the iPad that I fall in love with, I keep coming back to my first. It's just so good. I haven't had any stuck note issues but I usually play in real time using a midi controller. Apparently no one else is having these issues either since it was a single review making this complaint. I did run Cream Mobile arpeggiator into Sunrizer without issue. BTW, it sounded great and was a lot of fun. Sunrizer is awesome.

I enjoy this app and the capabilities that are loaded into it. However, since the latest iOS update, I am no longer able to play my midi controller and record a sound file. Sunrizer recognizes my midi, and I can even play as if I'm using the touch screen keyboard, but I cannot record a thing. Please rectify.

I have had this app for some time now, and despite owning many a plethora of synth apps, Sunrizer still stands a champion work horse on the app store and many of my own songs. It's versatile and immensely professional sounding for a affordable price, standing toe to toe with $2k hardware synthesizers. Not only that, it is painless to program sound patches and with a large support and following for Sunrizer, there are many online banks to be found as well. Unlike many other synths on the app store that seem to purely cater to either h******* EDM and Trance based genres, Sunrizer is versatile enough to deliver a strong synth engine that also has abilities for strong dark ambient and bizarre power electronics patches. The synth is as warm or cold as you want it to be..which leads to lots of potential.

Is this app abandoned... I hope not

I really like the supersaw sounds you can get from Sunrizer, but the stuck notes and aliasing kind of ruin it for me. I can't really recommend it until these serious flaws are fixed.

This has been my favorite iOS synth for years. The sound is phenomenal. However, it's been crashing a lot recently, which makes it a pain in the b*** for recording and unusable for live performance. Please fix!

this is a great simple synth with a lot of useful presets and plenty of more to download online. Definitely in my top 5 out of maybe a 10 synths I own (Thor, NAVE, cYcl0p, fab filter, fab filter 2, Stryker, 84, launchkey, Lyra, Yamaha, etc.) I can't wait to see how this compares with Magellan, z3ta, the korgs, the arturias, etc.

The phrase sequencing and a ton of other stuff has made me a big fan! But it would be great if the phrase I wrote for a particular program was saved within the patch .Separate banks for sequences and arpeggios is lame ! EVERYTHING THAT MAKES UP A PATCH SHOULD BE SAVED AS PART OF THAT PATCH exactly! I have never seen an arpeggiator as overblown or labor intensive and cryptic in my life!A total buzz kill.So for that it cost two stars on the ratings until it changes. Really a shame.on a synth that SOUNDS THIS GOOD!Peace christo

I love it, but it needs to be updated.

I could go on and on about this app but the main reason for my 5 star review is the astonishing sound quality. Using the Mod wheel basically doubles sonic opportunities. I mean seriously, I own multiple high end keyboards which are all great, but I never thought I would get something of such quality in a simple app. Just connect a USB keyboard and you've got some class A horsepower. Trust me, this thing is killer!!

Crashes immediately upon startup (iOS 10.2, iPad mini 2), so there isn't much to review here ...

While it may have just the basic waveforms for oscillators, where this app really shines is everywhere else! Filter options are simply amazing! And excellent effects, each of exceptional quality. A vast collection of well organized preset patches and it's perhaps the most complete synth on iOS.

This hasn't been updated in years. Good synth, but lately I've realized that when an app is abandoned, it becomes almost dangerous to rely on it for anything. If you're running the latest iOS, you will get warnings about this app causing your iPad to run slow. The devs should fix this.

No longer works on audiobus3 :(

Instead of playing notes, playing (and recording into Mastering app) arpeggios from another app like StepPolyArp is a good way to hear the full breadth of instruments of Sunrizer, which stands out with many times as many favorite sounds that other synths. The arp loops can then be looped into your favorite mixes on Launchpad, Cubasis, or Cubasis or other favorite DAW.

Even after I've bought every 20-30 "pro" synth on the App Store I still find myself opening Sunrizer when I'm looking for inspiration. Just got the latest Beep Street Synth would love to see some in-app purchase upgrades to Sunrizer. This synth is fantastic and I know many other iOS musicians who would agree with me. Please continue development on this terrific app!!!

This is one of the best synths I've ever seen. As an ex user of logic and a current user of ableton, this synthesis is great, easy to use, and sounds fantastic. My favorite synth is Sylenth1 but this is close to it. I got an adapter and can use a midi keyboard too. It was 8 bucks on Amazon. Definitely get this if you like production and EDM. Best IOS synth on the market!!!

This synth is very well made, great job to the Developers! I use it a lot more than other synths. It's a very easy to use design with a lot of built in features.

I am new to the world of iPad and the synthesizer apps that are available, and am immensely pleased with Sunrizer. I have been playing hardware synths for 25 years, and have never found an affordable one that is as easy to use and capable as this app is. Happy with this purchase, and may be even closer to letting go of my last VA hardware board.

You cannot go wrong adding this to your collection. Versatile with quick/easy/versatile control methods. Easy midi mapping. Plenty of options for spicing up your sound. A few things I would like to see are au support, Link support. I discovered today that it supports scala files. Unfortunately the keyboard shifts up one semitones so that C is C#. Wish S&H LFO was true s&h (it always triggers at same position currently). Wish there were more options for LFO offset type, single-shot of saw modding pitch detunes since LFO starts plus pitch, but ends minus pitch. Still 5 stars, my requests are minuscule technicalities. The synth overall is amazing and can do a lot!!

my favorite ios synth by far. The mod groups feature enables endless possibilities for warping and tweaking your sound. Simply scrubbing the mod wheel smoothly morphs all of the knobs between two extremes.
