I love this app and use it a lot but when I want to post something and do,lots of random “sketchy” people comment and follow me...is there a way to make my ACCOUNT private?

Don’t get fooled by this c***** app and waste your time. There are few real people but don’t know how many of them exactly listen to your song. All the comments and likes ( 90% are faked by bots) you get are simply from bots ! No real feedback! Check those fake profiles ‘ following 900’ , ‘ followed by ‘1200’ all fake profiles! No cover posted how come you get 1200 followers??? Fake pics ! I think you looser developers intentionally did this ! Please get rid of this c***** app ! Everyone!

People keep “messaging me” and it’s getting irritating. Then when I open it, there’s no message. STOP!

Ads and notifications of this program cause many boredom to users

What’s with the fake comment notifications??? The app works great but making false comment notifications just to keep users active isn’t awesome.

I love the app except that it includes songs on here that already have the original artists singing on them. And also it needs more gospel artist and songs added in.

The app is great overall, I enjoy using it however my only concern is the auto tune. I like to use it but cannot fully be satisfied as when some songs are sung, it makes my voice go off key and ruins the whole piece. I’d like to have a smooth voice instead of it sounding bad. I’d appreciate if it was somehow fixed or altered.

So lately one out of two or three recordings seems to work fine with feedback and everything but then when I listen to it my voice is not in the recording. Very frustrating because you only find out after the recording and it totally makes you stop wanting to sing

I like the app but in my IPhone 8 Plus I cant used the party room and in mi IPhone 6s can I dont know why?

I have a subscription but cancelled it because when ever I choose a vip song it prompts me to purchase a subscription again and when I click on it it says that connection failed when my connection is perfectly fine so I canceled my subscription because why am I paying to sing the songs and can’t actually sing them the system is glitching

It was five stars but after the update I am disappointed they got rid of effects. I really liked the karaoke one and if I knew it was going to disappear, I never would’ve completed the update.

I downloaded this app to make covers for my YouTube channel. I can’t do that, though. I cant save them to my camera roll. Can you please make so that I can save videos to my camera roll? I have to sing a cappella for my YouTube videos, and have to memorize the song.

Why did you guys take out autotune?

I have searched your website, this site, the internet trying to find a way to delete photos from the album. 🤷‍♀️ I try to select ONLY THE PHOTOS I want to show in a video, but why bother, they ALL show up! I can't use the app on my phone as the app doesn't hear my voice. Not the ear buds as other apps work with them. So, I resort to my iPad. I'm not sure why "select photos" should be so difficult to use...but it is. It doesn't really select the ones you choose. It ignores your selection. Thought deleting them would be easier, since I can't select certain ones, but I can't do that! Really frustrated. I shouldn't have to contact you to find a manual or something. But there's nothing in FAQ on how to do any of this. How hard would it be to put out a manual or troubleshooter? I once paid for this to gain VIP access, but why? If it is this difficult to use free and doesn't work well free...I'm not giving money for it. I'd give higher ratings if you all just put out instructions and made it simpler to use, not to mention getting the app to recognize voices.

This app makes me so happy! I love to sing! I can practice karaoke before I go out! It’s also the best tool for anyone doing singing lessons! We are our own worse critics! Being able to hear yourself and listen back is really helpful! I also love the ability to collaborate! So much fun!

Love love love the app and the party rooms and the community and what not. However 3 stars because since moving to another state, 14 hrs, the party button and option has disappeared so now I can’t search party rooms and my own option now is to message people to invite me to rooms they’re in. This eliminates my opportunity to look up rooms or find them on my own. I use the app considerably less now because of that. I’m not sure if it’s a location thing an internet speed thing or a glitch, but I’ve tried downloading and redownloading I’ve restart my internet I’ve gone to a friends house with faster and stronger internet for gaming and it still doesn’t work. No party option so my favorite feature of the app is taken from me cause I moved to another state.

I can follow my dreams which has been for me being a singer! I think it’s possible! BEST APP EVER.. STARMAKER!!

I use to love Starmaker until recently. Now whenever I make a song, I’m not getting any likes whatsoever. I use to get 50 plus likes but now I’m not getting any. I sent an email to Starmaker about this and they responded that they would tech support look into this but they never did anything to fix this issue. Getting ready to go to SMULE.

I’m an iPhone 8 Plus user. The app isn’t letting me sign in with my Facebook or even Gmail account 😑 Can’t even log in with my cell either because I’m not receiving any SMS from this app. If this gets fixed, maybe I’d consider re-downloading..

A lot of enhancements have been made which have made the app more interesting, but the servers are terrible. I would say on a good day 1/5 singers are disconnected or the room will freeze. We have spent right $3,000 in the app on recharges and basically have nothing to show for it. Smule by comparison costs $50/year and is a significantly better app. In other words what are these developers doing with the money they're pulling in? Finally there are key features missing which is just silly. For example Collabs are not recorded and there is no way for the opener to hear the other singer. Smule has figured out how to do this in real time while serving video - I don't understand why starmaker can't. I'm summary I'm going to keep using starmaker because it's where our friends are, but as soon as smule makes one or two enhancements to live jams there will be an Exodus, so save your money!

They got rid of pitch correction it wasn’t needed to be taken away what was he point of that it ruins the fun and if you want to add quality to your voice

This app use to be one of my favorite apps but now, it's probally my least fav.. you all have yet to fix the point system you haven't fixed the likes and shares not registering you got verified people on there that NEVER get less then 1000 likes only getting 70 out of 1.2k plays are you kidding me a lot of people are seriously about to delete this app and it's some of your best app users I suggest you get it fixed and fixed soon or you mite just end up loosing some of your best users

Missing money, own room worth over $20,000 USD and rarely songs trend. Worked 6 months for Blue V to get automatically trended, now Blue V doesn't work. Fraudulent gave users followers, likes, shares, and listens, then takes away room benefits and Blue V.

When I first downloaded this app I thought it was kid friendly. The update now made it 17 plus. That means I cannot play it! Please fix this!

Favorite option is not there in new versions... it was there till 7.1.x. I lost so many good collabs, that I had marked as favorite. Request you to please restore it back in future updates.. I loved this app and using it from past three years...

Can’t even get it to open. I’ve put in the info, paid $0.99, then next time I try to open it I have to start all over again, info, pay again... I like to get my money back, even if it’s only a dollar!

This app is great to showcase your singing talent and to me a bit shy to sing a long the karaoke so I shared only the karaoke version of the songs I love. Oh, I am big fan of oldies traditional country music since childhood (not a fan of songs today). I rated it 4* because don’t find a way to download the song to my phone and play it later without internet.

So, I have restrictions on my devices and was all ready to record but it’s 17+ now! Please if you can make it 7+ again! I just hit 1.4 thousand followers and really don’t want to wait till I’m seventeen just to record another cover!

I really like this because it is actually a free app. When I got smule, a different singing app to clarify, it wasn’t a free app and I had to pay if I wanted to do anything. Now I found this app and figures out that I can actually do stuff here!! I’m really glad it’s almost a free smule with a few tweaks thanks guys! Edit: I had almost not gotten the app for fear of rejection to my music. But when I accidentally posted my first song, Attention, people instantly liked my music and gave me praise and really kind feedback. The people on Starmaker are so kind...they either make a nice comment or no comment at all, there’s no mean criticism out there. Critics come only in a pleasant form, and the fear of rejection started to rub away. Thanks for making such a great app where we can communicate with music and share and discover each other!!! ❤️

The app is great but I put 1 star cause for me and my friend we logged out for the night and it won’t let us log back in. I contacted support and no answer and it’s been a week.

Wow it makes me sound uglier from before what happened to Auto tone!?

I love this app, my only complaints, would be how the filters don’t seem to work outside of headphones and why can’t I play with it on my laptop! A pc version would be truly amazing!

You got rid of the studio effect under the audio effects and I used that the most for some Beatles songs and other rock and roll songs I hope you put it back soon cause it was simple and echoey perfect for rock and roll songs also every time if I have drafts of songs I did and I delete the app and reinstall it my drafts are gone completely like that’s not right they should stay there until I want to delete them myself so please fix up this app please I’m a singer/songwriter and I’m also a perfectionist so I try to do my best to sing and make whatever song I do like the original so please I hope you can improve the app again and bring back the studio effect and maybe think up some new audio effects along the way but I’m hoping to see studio effect again so I can do rock and roll songs the right way another good example is Elvis songs like I need the studio effect for songs like that

Why StarMaker allow off topic post. People post p********** ..... Now a days they allow v***** and off topic post in their popular page.People often post their selfie and other videos which is not related to singing... I signed up for singing purpose only but now they allow everyone to post anything. This is ridiculous. Don't tell us that you guys are not aware.you should check the content .Very disappointing . Also their is no judging system in singing competition... those who share this app more, will win in the contest. Real talent never gets recognized. They focus on their marketing by arranging some singing contest.

You know what? I was excited to see there was a post asking users what is their passion, especially since they related suppressing your passion is slow sure way to end up committing suicide. I don’t understand why you don’t let us talk about sensitive things if you really care about us? People need to know how to deal with people battling depression, especially if the person battling depression is suicidal. This may come out me being mean and judgmental, but you need to know how you’re appearing. You used have a good reputation, years later your reputation started declining, why you ask? Probably because you are bunch a narrow minded church people who organized this app? It’s fine to have beliefs, but your religions have no place in what’s truly right and what is truly wrong. The world is not all black and white. Most things are very much in a grey area, a smaller fraction of things are completely wrong , and an even smaller fraction of things are truly pure.

I got Starmaker a few years ago and loved the app. I deleted it from my phone for a bit for storage reasons and now the age limit has been bumped. I can no longer download the app and this disappoints me greatly. Please lower the age again, because it makes me sad to no longer be able to share my voice with others. I would please like you to bump down the age limit!

You want to make the app better but you always end up ruining it , Now I can’t even listen and browse ! , most of the cool vocal effects are gone 😪

I created a beautiful song with a slideshow and when I share the link to view on Facebook or WhatsApp or for that matter a web browser they are not able to view the other pictures and only 1 is displayed for the entire song which is disappointing ! Another thing is that although I have added 6-7 images only 2-3 keep showing up repeatedly on a single play of the song which makes it’s boring to watch PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP ! Would like a developer response !

First of all, this app is just amazing!! So it has literally all the songs (not raps) you like and you can hear your own voice and improve your singing skills (or just have fun singing). And everyone on the app is sooooo SUPPORTIVE!!! Like I sound like trash, but everyone is like "you sound amazing" "can't wait to hear more from you!!" Within a few weeks I already gained over 70 FOLLOWERS!! That's huge!! The only down side is that you can't sing some songs solo because you have to pay for membership. But you can always joins duet to sing those songs!! It's great social skills too!!! Good luck, I hope you guys enjoy this app as much as I do!!!

I’d give this more stars if the app didn’t constantly send me annoying notifications. You should expect this app to tell you things “is this your ex” or “someone saved your profile picture.” It’s clickbait and annoying. Please let me disable these annoying messages without disabling notifications entirely.

So the singing and recording part of the app is pretty standard and works well, however the social side of it is very confusing and not user friendly. Hoping for a redesign.

Hi, I love your app, there’s a few things that need fixing, bugs. 1. My & everybody else’s posts won’t show entirely or won’t load at some points! It’s not my WiFi. 2. Please bring back collabs for EVERY party room. The high levels are way too crowded and it’s unfair only high levels rooms can collab. Please FIX that.

So when I started using this app I was so happy because I was getting a ton of likes and really happy comments but when I checked all the people who commented’s profile none of them had posted more than a few pictures and they were all Indian. I am fine with Indians using this app but it seemed super fishy because there where so many Indians that had a ton of followers and no content.

I like the app. It’s fun and there are oodles of free songs u can sing. As a big karaoke dork, just that aspect is fun. That said, the phony comments/likes by bots are annoying. More annoying than dangling in complete anonymity with no likes would be. Not only is it hard to tell who legit ppl are, but it’s a veiled insult (ie: we don’t think ull ever be good enuff to get legit ones) Maybe instead of falsely liking people, and the app being so phony... you should have a place where you can listen to everyone’s stuff (not just popular people) so people can earn their accolades. On their own merit. My .02

Great experience and really helpful to bring change in life. karaoke is awesome feature in the app. Already recommended to my friends and family folks to come on this app for doing great singing :)

Why did you have to mess with the auto tune? Now it just sounds completely horrible?

This app is kind of a joke. I’ve listened to some singers and they are on key and sing beautifully and have very few likes. Then I’ve heard others “sing” that resembles a cat dying and they have lots of likes! This is not simply my opinion, they are actually singing completely off key but getting tons of likes. They are also getting A’s so they must be adding auto tune to get the grade and then taking it off once they post. I give no merit to this app.

Hey guys, seems like the tab bar is being truncated sometimes and other times the tab bar is not visible to make any changes to account, home and other stuff. This is a bad bug! Please fix this ASAP.

Ever since the app updated I have not gotten any likes on any of the songs I’ve posted. Also the creepy push notifications are getting annoying.

I couldn’t even play because you had to pay, it’s a waste of time. Maybe take away the payment and I’ll give you a better review.

This app is great for singing!! But the party room needs to have a video option and I can only join when no one else is in the party room. And to go live you need to live in India. What!!!!?????? The app is great except for that

First off the app was great. However I was disappointed when I could not go live because of my area. Everyone on the app is in a different language and I found that any old songs you want to sing are not available. I liked the app because I didn't have to pay anything, but with the new update you pay 7$ a week. I did not waste my money on that. I just have to work it out and freestyle a lot of things (which is HARD!) so if you want to pay money to sing and hear horrible covers this app is for you.

I don’t like how you all give us random fake followers with prerecorded comments to try to pass them off as real people. No one with dignity wants to have fake followers that are actually robots commenting and following them...

I have gotten plenty of messages but every time i go to my inbox it shows nothing and i love this app but im very disappointed on that because i have gotten some inappropriate messages and i cant report the person because i cant see the messages

I am having issues with the new app. The bottom of the app that allows you to sing, check your profile, choose a song, etc. disappears very often and the only thing I can do is scroll and listen to others. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Awful. Deleted it after 1 song. Blech! Not user friendly. Also, I’m not a child and don’t want to deal with all this coin BS. This isn’t Nintendo (although it might be more fun if it was) imma stick with my other app.

I was going to make an account for StarMaker, and I couldn’t get past the “Parent Contasl” thing or however you spell it -._-. It was going I make me pay a dollar, and I had no other way out. Simply, I just exited the app and now I’m here. Please, either tell me how to fix it, fix it, or I never hear of it again.

I wish there was an easy way to deleted my account instead of contacting the support department I sent 5 different emails requesting to delete my account and nothing has been done. I don’t want to erase the app until I know all my info is been deleted from this company. I will email them again and see if finally they will deleted all my personal info and account. Bad service.

Before the update, I really liked the studio effect and the auto tune was more like a normal auto tune rather than a robotic/T-Pain auto tune that is so cringy I cant even. Please bring the other effects back they were so fun and were the best! I’d enjoy covering songs if I had those back cause the other effects and the new ones are kinda 💩

So I use this app for the pass year and love every moment of it what made me unhappy was y’all took autotune way from some of the good one and we are not singing on the app no more I stop singing because one week autotune was on the app the next week it gone my question is is there anyway y’all could put it back on the app!!!!
