Mahler Translations App Reviews

Covers basic phrases and words, but not ALL. I like how it allows you to look for a word/phrase alphabetically, like in "contacts", rather than having to type in each letter.

Just got my score and started seeing all of Mahler's notes. This app helps to translate them quickly. Thank you for saving hours of translation work!

They forgot "aufstehen" (in the horn parts to Mahler 1 meaning to "stand up" or "get up") but nonetheless a very helpful app!

If you are thinking about working in mahler or Strauss excerpts without this app, think again. Using the Mahler Translations app has saved me not only time, but many headaches and a lot of frustrations. With this app, you'll know exactly what those guys wanted, and you'll impress your teacher with your knowledge of German musical terms! BUY THIS APP!!!

Very clear and useful. You might consider also displaying phrases in the sequence in which they appear.

These translations explain the intention of the Mahlerisms. Far superior to my previous method which was to look up each individual word in a German-English dictionary

If you are serious about studying get this. You won't regret it. So helpful and time saver!

I can't believe I played Mahler without this app! As other reviewers have noted, just looking up each word in a German/English dictionary doesn't give you the composers true intent. Very easy to use...I have yet to find a term not listed. This is the first app I've actually bought, and its well worth the small price.

Great app! My only request for a later version would be disabling the autocorrect somehow for this app
