Since they were able to do this in India, they obviously know how this works. What is taking so long to implement it in the US?

Saavn used to be a great app for indian music. Idk what happened with recent saavn jio update. It's not working anymore. Song stops playing in the middle. Doesn't work on Bluetooth as well as cable. Canceling subscription now.

Team, my downloads have got cleared randomly. I had more than 2000 songs and it took me more than a day to get them back!!!!

I’ve been a Saavn Pro user for 7 years and never had this issues. But with new update my app is deleting my songs every time I download (1450+ Library)

We had cancelled subscription nearly 9mknths who, and the app is still charging us and no refund in sight.

Bad app ever even i can not listen a single song it’s always showing you are offline. And when am press online it doesn’t work.. 0 star for this

Updated - May 2019 Unfortunately things have been going downhill for Saavn. Lots of songs which used to be on my playlist are unavailable after reliance/jio bought the app. The collection of songs which included almost everything was the biggest selling point. That’s why I looked over app glitches and forced paid service etc. Recently I am getting an error -‘ internet not available ‘ when I have full LTE coverage and WiFi. All other apps work fine. But SAAVN does not seem to sense the high speed Internet available. That was the last straw. Cancelling the Subscription and will shop around for new services like Apple Music and amazon music which will definitely have better customer service and follow-up. P.S - with such bad customer service / app dev and when majority of subscribers seem to face similar issues and having a low star rating of 2+. Its interesting to see odd glowing reviews , praising the developers , naming bad reviewers as ‘cheap’, calling it the best streaming service (eye roll) etc . It feels like planted reviews from Saavn well-wishers. Anyway that’s for Apple App Store to figure out ————- The earlier version was amazing and stable. I don’t really care about UI changes but my major complain is that the app is very unstable now. Playback stops for no reason, occasionally there is a lot of disturbance in the music, which I figured out can be corrected by hitting “pause” and “play”. But how many times can you do that when trying to listen to music. I am hoping quick fixes will be rolled out soon.

I have tried resetting my password more than times, I get email to reset the password, I reset it but it does not allow me login. I sent emails to Saavn but no response.

Since 2 years bluffing to enable carplay. Everytime you have to manually go and play which you want. Neither in bluetooth nor in USB it’s getting resume from last point. This year is the last, will move to apple or amazon music.

If i could give 0 stars, i would. Yes, it was better when it was free. Clearly all the success got to their head and they screw it up. There is no way to control the devices in your account, so many songs are not available AND just when you think things cant get any worse for paying as much as i do ALL MY DOWNLOADED songs have disappeared. Like seriously? How about you guys get your sh** together and stop wasting our money on such a crappy service?

This app was so good a year ago. Then they started including all the unnecessary stuff selling it as a must have feature...Seriously? And now all my downloaded songs are gone. I mean come on guys!!! You can do better then this. Stop thinking over catchy update notes and start doing something useful with this crappy app

Keep getting weird noises while playing songs...

I changed my device and I wanted to deauthorize my old devices, I don’t have such an option to control other devices in my account. I emailed the support team to get this done as per the instructions, its been 3 months since I made the request but never got response. Very poor customer support. I would like to give 0 stars.

The app has been constantly logging me out. That invalidates all downloads. It also happens some other times when I am offline but logged in. The whole idea of having offline songs is to be able to access them when you don’t have internet. The songs are unavailable even when I log back in and need to be downloaded again which is a waste of time and bandwidth if I am on a metered connection. I’ve had a paid subscription for almost two years now. This issue might end up being a deal breaker and I might have look for other options. Would be sad because the app has otherwise improved in visual appeal and navigation but if the only thing that I am paying for doesn’t work then all that might not be worth it.

This app is stupid they force you to pick a genre of music in a language I don’t even speak or understand

The offline songs functionality is not working at all. All songs are getting removed. This behaviour seems to be introduced in recent releases . I was expecting a new release with the fix but it has been around a month . Complete disappointment !!

I usually don’t get mad at apps this much but I hate this app and their staff. As a paying member, I can’t use my own app because they have a limit of 5 devices. Now if I have to deauthorize one of the devices, I have to email them and tell them to do it. Oh by the way, I emailed them more than 3 weeks ago and still, nothing has happened. As of this week, I am no more an active paying member after four years.

I’d not even give this app a single star. I’ve downloaded around 100 songs for my trip as I’m limited on internet and when I’m ready for the trip, right on!! They all vanished and no synchronization helped regaining them back. Pretty sad to be paying for this rather than getting some other app with better performance and quality even if it costs more.

Saavn was an amazing app before they made the switch to forcing customers to pay for music regardless. I.e. no free tier. After that the amount of ads went up drastically and the accessibility of some of their albums went down. The only thing this app had to begin with was that it had less frequent ads than other music players and had a wider range of music that could be accessed. SPOTIFY OFFICIALLY HAS MOST OF THE SONGS ON THIS APP. YOU GUYS HAVE PLAYED YOURSELF. WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND SWITCHING AWAY FROM THIS APP.

Widget would be helpful . Need of widget so no issue of accidentally closing the app

From the time JIO has taken over, the app has become so hard to navigate. It is so user unfriendly! Disappointing.

FEATURE REQUEST: Apple CarPlay integration

For past few weeks, all my downloaded songs keep getting deleted resulting in the need to download them again!!!! Paying for the app, it is not free. These kind of problems have to stop right away....

You can’t even listen to a song unless you signup for paid subscription. I hope they are successful to grow their company with this model. For me gaana and Spotify works without forcing me to make a payment.

So this is up there with Spotify and Pandora. Sure, they dont have every song, but, believe it or not Spotify and Pandora and Apple music dont either. These guys are giving the same services and more when compared to all the others at a fraction of the cost. Yet these ungrateful little pieces of c*** who review them with 1 star dont deserve nice things in life.

Unless u subscribe by paying money, its of no use installing this app

Gaana rocks free too

I have tried a lot of online music streaming apps but thus is the best app as compared to all others hands down. Features like Radio , music library , intuitive interface everything is on point. i would really wish this app becomes number 1 music streaming service in the iTunes store soon.

There is no point hitting the dislike button for a song. It keeps coming on whichever station I choose.

Gaana provides the same service, has better customer service , better UI and is a more stable app. For those saying please pay for service and don’t be cheap , you guys are a special kind . People don’t mind paying for an app. But I didn’t know this was a charity where the better app ( Gaana) is free and I have to donate to the crappier app to keep them afloat. I would rather donate my money to a better cause than to help a fraudulent company

I love this app and would recommend it, but I cannot find a plethora of song on there including English songs and heeriye from race 3. I would love for there to be a way we can request songs to be added to saavn, so we can enjoy listening. Thanks for all your help.

I'm a Saavn pro subscriber and love using it. However, the customer service leaves something to be desired. I reported an issue on Twitter where the response I got was that the feature doesn't exist. I am using the feature so it clearly does exist. Given the lack of knowledge of customer support on Twitter, I then wrote to feedback @ Saavn. They said they will get back within 72 hours. It's been two weeks. If you pay for the service and don't encounter any bugs, all is good. Else you are screwed.

Unknowledge and poor customer service. I have asked for some payment issues and responce that i got was unrelevant.

Very disappointing to see Saavn double charge me for my monthly subscription. What is also upsetting is that the only method of contacting them about my concerns is through email. I will take my business elsewhere if this matter is not promptly resolved.

Great app and a good collection of music. No day goes by without Saavn. Please add a sleep timer feature.

I don’t want to talk about how the app is no more free but and i am not even a subscriber.. This review is totally to the master brain of person who writes the Version release notes.. kind of felt interesting when i first saw this notes.. and I thought it’s a one time thing..but it continues.. TAKE A BOW sir/madam. These notes are cheeky and fun wit comedy are a new of seeing the release notes.. Hats off Even though i am not subscriber i still have this app on my phone just for the release notes.. Saavn you entertain your subscribers not only thru but also thru you cheeky version release notes. Thank you for killing my boredom with these notes.

No free version

I tried to remove songs from my music and downloads but everytime I launch the app again, I see those songs still in the list! :/

Used to be my favourite when they also had the free version available. Doesn’t make any sense to keep the paid version only if people can handle the ads.

Useless app

The app was my favourite before but now it’s compulsory to pay which is fun because I used PRO before anyway but what really p***** me off is that the English option for music has just disappeared it’s only hindi and other Indian languages now. I don’t even listen to songs in other languages so what am I supposed to do. It would be really helpful if you guys would change that. Thanks.

Crappy app, just stops playing when you switch apps or on lock screen. I tried going into pro version and still the same issue.

Updated: this app works properly now. No issues at this time. I can only guess that the issue was with my phone and not the app. Previous review: The music quality and variety are quite good, but the main reason I use music apps is to help me relax while doing other work. I do not want to just stare at the app while listening to it. Whenever I press the home button or switch apps, the music just stops. There is no way to start it back even through the main player. My iPad does not even recognize that music is playing on the app. Other music can play over the music from the Saavn app. Please consider fixing this issue.

If you open other app or if u go to home screen or lock screen, it won’t play. Horrible s***** app.

I love Saavn! Great app and great user experience. I find that Saavn has some nifty features that Apple Music and Spotify lack. However, I do find that they need to do a better job at delineating between albums and playlists. When you open and artist and tap on popularity, followed by date, you’re presented with a massive collection of music! This collection is primarily playlists with a few actual albums that you’ll have to sift through to find!

I can't get the app to play without paying $3.99 a month? As soon as you switch the app to a different app or press the home button the app stops to play Music?

Its a real cheap way its a great app i love it alot but making people pay for a membership its just too much you ppl should be nice and make it free.

I’ve been a user of saavn for quite some time. I’ve used it’s website to listen to songs. When I downloaded this app, I was expecting a similar experience to the web i.e. listening to songs with advertisements. However, the app forces me to signup for its premium service. I don’t want the premium service, even if it’s free for 30 days. I’m moving onto a different service altogether.

Savan used to be the hit app a couple of years ago! I did not mind the ads but now it makes you buy the subscription and it seems like a little bit much! BRING BACK THE OLD SAAVN

Saavn app is crashing or closing ie.. cannot play songs in the backend whenever other apps r opened like when going through news apps (ex: daily hunt) or while browsing in safari...Please fine it asap

App is not able to play in background.

I am surprised this app passed the Apple app review process. It doesn’t let you do anything without signing up and then buying their pro subscription. There is no way yo try the app without paying for the premium subscription. I hope Apple pulls down this app for violating its review process.

Okay you download the app. The first thing it asks you to do is to sign up or login use Facebook or your email without which you cannot even listen to anything about 2 mins later you have opened the app but when you click to start listening you are redirected to a free trial page which you get a free 30 day subscription, great, which in turn takes you to your App Store to add payment info.. 5 mins into the app still no music you have wasted your time signed up for an eternity of s***** promo emails and no music whatsoever.. Great job guys..!!

Poorly designed app. Started crashing on me and would not open at all. I hate to reinstall it now. The content, price are good. But bad app. Update to a more robust app.

I had to subscribe twice to use the service. I was asked to by the support team to send the second invoice that they don't see on their system. I sent it and then there was dead silence. Please stop cheating customers.

Great app. The download feature is great. However I would recommend updating the radio playlist more frequently. Especially the workout radio which I used for my runs. Other than that works perfectly! Please fix the sync issue. It seems like the some radios which are available on laptops/windows desktop are not available on the iPhone app.

With the recent updates, streaming seems to be laggy, takes forever to load my playlist if u happen to have lot of songs, downloading speed of each individual song is slow - make it similar to iOS updates work with simultaneous downloads to speed up the downloading process to play it offline. I am done with this app for now, waiting for my paid subscription to end, switching to Gaana app instead, they get the newly released songs much much faster compare to Saavn, also Gaana has better song collection in Punjabi language section. Forgot to mention, Saavn shows ads even if I am paid customer, that is just not cool.

The current version of the app does not allow background play, a key characteristic of music apps. I don't know how that push was allowed. If not resolved within the next couple of days, definitely unsubscribing.

iPhoneX saavn app keeps crashing every few seconds! Fix it!! So annoying!

So few days ago I was having trouble with my headphones and it was unusual some of the songs I listen to we just cutting of with some weird sounds and I thought that I was my headphones but then I got new headphones And Did the same thing again and again with any song I selected so I reinstalled the app and try to see if that solved the problem but nope did the same thing and I try to contact savan people but no reply what so ever and I am a pro user!!!!

I am using Saavn from more than a year, after the recent update, playlists won’t play correctly, if we select one playlist some other playlists will play. Also when I try to play a song in specific playlist it won’t start playing Need fixes

The app do not open, even after continuously trying plz fix it ASAP

Plays the first song fine but when it tries to go to the next it gives some weird FM radio tuning sound and stops playing. The only workaround is to k*** the app and restart it back again.. Give me back the older version please.

Not able to open the app post 6.1 & 6.2 update.

I wanted to find out why so many of the songs I had access to and downloaded prior to the change to JioSaavn, have become ‘unavailable’. I wrote to their customer service and never got a response. I guess they don’t want to admit that they just downgraded their service with the same monthly fee. Will be cancelling and just be using Apple Music, has all new and old Hindi music. Even $4.99/mo for this is a joke for this now.

I am using Saavn nearly 2 years with pro and didn’t had any issue in playing the playlist in online and offline. After recent update iPad version is giving wired sound when a song is played and iPhone version is not launching since update. Recent update spoiled a nice Indian music app. This is not a right direction when global players like Spotify and Amazon entering Indian market.

Add more 90’s,2000-2015 old Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and English Albums too.

Been a paid subscriber from last 3 years, mostly enjoyed the app except for few glitches time-to-time. But the recent update is a total disaster. Can’t see what is being downloaded, connectivity issues all the time, songs buffer even when I am on 1Gigabit fiber internet. Everyone around me are suggesting different options but I am giving one last try for the next month before I cancel my subscription. I hope you will fix the connectivity issues, improve streaming performance, app stability issues when connecting to a Bluetooth devices (including cars) and improve download functionality.

Still no option to shutoff device sync. Moreover the songs which are getting auto downloaded are not on any device. I tried cleaning the downloaded list from every device. Removed every device from saavn. Still when I login I get those songs back by auto download. This is very irritating. Please stop syncing our devices with yours.

App worked fine for few days but after connecting it to chromecast, it has gone into infinite loop of crashing. Just doesn't launch. Unusable as it stands for now

When I search for a song , and click play - randomly plays some other song

Great app and all but what is this with every other album/song disappearing and getting unavailable every single day? I have a list of songs that I always listen to and almost all the songs are ‘currently unavailable’. This never happened until this new update. Have to admit, great layout and everything but what is with the glitches and bugs? This is disappointing, seriously. Look into this.

Ever since the update it isn’t connecting to the internet with mobile data

This update is so broken. Shows connectivity issue even with good LTE network. All the other apps perform wel except saavn. Please fix this quickly. The app also goes offline while playing songs and when it comes to playlist it several times show that,"oops sorry we can't find your content" like wth ? The above things are happening even after your bug fix update recently

The new update is just ridiculous. How do I jump to the song in the playlist that’s playing currently? Plus the old design was pretty good. Why fix things when it’s not broken? Now it’s all white. Not that user friendly. For past couple of months, I was debating whether to get ITunes or Saavn, and I guess this new horrible Saavn update is making it easier for me to choose. Thank you Saavn. You’ve been a great friend. Time to move on.

Why in Saavn most of your songs are unavailable? This is so irritating. And once in a while, there will be “Oops. 😬 The playlist/song/album is not available.” This is truly irritating.

I am a saavn pro user and can’t figure out how to deauthorize my device. So I reached saavn website for help. I saw a list of steps which directed me to go to settings and tap deauthorize device in the saavn app. But there exists no such option on the app itself. Paying for saavn pro and receiving bad service is not worth it.

The new update has logged me out and does not recognize my subscription. I have to use my phone number to log in each time. After each session, I am forced to log in again. What are you doing to recognize subscribed users? All the downloads that I had collected over a period of three years are gone too. Planning to unsubscribe from membership if this continues.

You cant download your own playlists on the watch. The buttons at the bottom are not tapable 90 % times. You cant unsubscribe the pro in-App purchase, its been 3 days I am trying to find option to cancel my subscription.

They are destroying the app with s***** updates and ui changes. Songs getting deleted randomly and cant download songs properly even after paying monthly. Its better of go back to where old version which has less issues.

Been a paid subscriber for so long and guess what they have started charging me 2-3 times a month for God knows how long and I have just realised that. What a c***** thing to do. Cancelled my subscription right away. Would recommend everyone to check their apple account history, I am sure you guys will be able to find multiple charges as well.

The App is great but I am having trouble using it on data. It says no internet always when I am using data.

I'm a paid subscriber and have been using Saavn for over a year. All was well until you guys decided to mess it up. I've been experiencing connectivity issues for quite sometime now. At first, it was only with Bluetooth devices but it has become worse now. Do you even do some kind of testing before the release? I'm annoyed by seeing "Network not available, switching to offline mode" and "Oops! 😬, we couldn't find this song/album" messages. How come only Saavn can't connect to internet when every other app on the phone can? I've tried closing the app and restarting the phone a number of times to no avail. I even hard reset my phone, but the issue exists. I don't understand why the app suddenly goes to offline mode when a song is playing. Its as if the app is protesting to connect to internet. I will definitely cancel my subscription and go for alternatives if this isn't fixed soon. And lastly, writing catchy/appealing release notes is not enough!! The functionality should live up to the expectations. Hope you take customer feedback seriously.

I’m a paid user of saavn and it was working good but suddenly since 1 month I’m facing some issues with Saavn. After playing a song for 2 mins there is a lot of noise and suddenly app is crashing. Initially I felt that there is a problem with my phone speaker but later I realized that it’s only with Saavn app, all other music apps are working good.

Don’t download peoples they’ll bring you down to roads. This idiots were charging me every week instead of every month. They have recently took out around $15 in 3week outa my account & more to go which was supposed to be 3.99 a month.

I don't know why but I can't save my queue at all. And I can't save to a certain playlist that I have which already has 592 songs. It'll save to other playlists but not to the original playlist I have. It won't even let me save my queue as a new playlist!! Suggestion: add in a search bar for people to be able to search their queue so if there is a specific song in a long queue they want to play it's possible. UPDATE: I cannot even try saving my current queue as a new playlist. I get an "Oops!" Message every time and I'm told to contact customer support.

Two stars only for the collection of songs you guys have. There are so many glitches I can’t even begin to enlist them. I was expecting a better user experience.

After the app updated to JioSaavn with icon change, it is not downloading songs anymore. Will be uninstalling after my trip is over!

I have been using Saavn for more than 3 years and have the subscription for like an year now. Suddenly everything stopped working on my app. When i try to play a song its just keeps on changing to next songs and nothing plays at all. I have paid for one year subscription and now I cannot use this app. I need some resolution on this.

I’ve been using Saavn for years. They have progressively gotten worse in their app development and customer service. As soon as my wife and I started hearing a crackling noise during every song, we decided to cancel the Pro account. Saavn is like the NFL Madden of the Indian music community. Because they own all newest movie/song rights and connections with the production companies, they’ve become a monopoly and we’re forced to deal with a sub-par product that is devoid of any innovation. Time for Gaana or another app to step up and take the #1 spot.

Getting worse day by day. I am a paid customer i always keep my audio quality at Auto mode. from last 2,3 weeks there was a disturbance in every sing i pay irrespective of old or new downloaded or playlist i am getting some noise while the song was playing. I hope your developers fix this soon or else i would love to cancel the service rather than getting worst experience for paid membership.

Lyrics should be there in the app. Hope you would update the app that supports play with lyrics like Deezer app.

I recently downloaded this app to try this out as their library is good. But whenever I try to play a song it keeps skipping saying either tracks cant be played or some error.

I have been a saavn pro member more than 3 years for now but as it is updated to jio now i am unable to log in now and when i tried with my number it is asking me take the subscription again

After multiple emails to unsubscribe my account, they still charged me 4.33$ this month. They don’t have ethics. I would still request those guys to refund my money back and cancel subscription.

I am a daily user of saavn. I just love this app. But since the past 15 days saavn is not working on ios. It works just fine on android. Initially i thought it was my phone problem. But after verifying on both ios and Android, It is definitely a glitch in the apps software in ios. Developers please sort out the issue and i will rate it 5 stars

They said I can use pro membership to share with friend and family. However it’s disabled and they won’t reply to me for weeks!

I was using this app from last couple of years and paying approx 5 dollars every month for it. One fine day app stopped playing songs and not allowing me to login. I checked the website and was able to login. But the app was not working. So i decided to send email to support team and sent them my id for 3 days. I didn’t hear anything. So i reached out to apple to refund my money and cancel subscription. And they did it in a day. Good to have a subscription through apple. As they will cover against terrible customer service from app provider. So finally, i heard back from customer support team with a link to FAQ page and they asked me to provide my id again which i already sent to them 5 days back. I highly recommend bollywood songs lover to use other bollywood songs app (just google and you will find them) which are cheaper and better than saavn.

Not worth the money at all!! I am using gaana now and couldn’t be happier!!

Got an update and when I opened the app, it said downloads removed and it removed all my downloads from the phone...i have to download all the songs again...i think it’s better to switch to other app, than to continue with it.

After merge with jio app started crashing Does not even open Very disappointed Saavn was my go-to music app and now it won’t even start.

It turned out to be the worst music app from one of the best music app after getting converted into JioSavan. Keep on playing suggested radio station instead of the song I searched and requested to play. Worst upgrade for any app I have ever seen.

I have been using Saavn for many years now, but ever since I switched to iPhone Xs, I have been experiencing some issues with the app. After 30 seconds of playing any song, the music starts making weird noise and it gets so bad second by second that I have to turn my music off. At first, I thought may be my speaker was messed up, but after testing it with other apps like Spotify & Gaana, I had no problems with my speaker or my phone. The issue is within the Saavn App. The problem only exists when I play Saavn on data, if the song is downloaded it works fine. Please fix this issue before you lose another customer.

There seems to be a bug which chargers you and doesn’t let you unsubscribe. I have been charged additional amount of $24.00 even though I deleted the app. It doesn’t give me an unsubscribe option. Please don’t get yourself into trouble. I truly regret for purchasing the subscription. Please don’t go for it

I use to be able to listen for free with ADS and now the new app does not allow that

I am a pro subscriber, but still I cannot go offline. Every time I try to go offline it says that you need to get online to validate my status, which doesn’t make any sense. The team should fix this problem otherwise people would just simply uninstall them.

I see the songs just keep going to next song when playing a playlist. After a few seconds app crashes

Any update regarding my account? My pro subscription went to free account though it’s been paid till next year. No update from you but guys you want to take more money for the same account, I am using ? Seriously... you guys kidding me .. I love using this app because it includes a variety of songs from lots of different languages. But I was wondering if any English songs will be available for the users in US? I have to switch from 2 apps to listen to Hindi and English songs so it would be great if Saavn could have them all especially since they are available in India.

There is this annoying noise at the end of every track, it’s so loud and wired. Also there is this new weird cracking noise on the front right channel. Seems like the Audio quality has gone down crazy

Who is designing your user experience? Are you trying to copy Netflix? What you had was simple and working user interface. Why did you change and dumped this piece of sh*t on us. Imagine you driving, launching the app to play songs and only to realize total ui is bunch of unintelligible mess. I am a paying pro user. If you guys dont get your act under control, I will cancel and switch to alternative. At minimum, you should provide option to user to opt into new UI changes without dumping crop. Learn some lessons from how Google transitions users into new UIs.

It is still the best bollywood music streaming app with the widest music collection..and if the only way to access it is by paying $5 a month, it is still worth it..1 bottle of soda from a vending machine costs $1, so all u r giving up is 5 bottles of soda get access to this fantastic bollywood music collection and keeping urself healthy n happy..but as they say "Muft ka chandan, ghis mere nandan!" folks can't get over the fact that something that's free is now being charged for... Update - Revising it from 5 to 3 star for a non existent customer service! While i love the app, some unexpected changes occurred and most songs in my playlist vanished. I contacted customer support and seems there is a bot on the other side that constantly sending me an email stating “We’re writing in to check if your issue has been resolved. If not, reply to this email & let us know. We’ll fix it for you right away :)” - Really? I shared an issue with them and they are asking me if issue has been resolved? How the heck will it get resolved if you did nothing about it! I responded saying not resolved and they sent me exact same email again! And also happened the third time after which i gave up on it..amazing how you get treated as a subscriber! Update Nov’18 : Getting worse day by day. Customer service is already a joke and now since the ios 12 update, the streaming quality is bad on LTE network. Keep hearing disturbances. Its been 2 months plus now since iOS 12 arrived and no update to fix the issues with streaming!

Hi, I am the pro user. Everything was working fine till last week, but all of the sudden my I got the message that to continue listing try saavan pro. I tried to contact saavan support but I didn’t get any response. I lost my playlists, downloaded songs , and more important my pro account.

Saavn is one of the best app I've ever experienced. UI is just superb. Amazing. Company has done great on this app. User experience is amazing. 10/10.

App is great and it never crashed on me. My only request is to enable CarPlay support.

Song resets to start if you change the volume through Siri/Airpods.

I liked the new UI and the google cast function. I recently switched to the dark theme and noticed that the cast icon doesn’t turn white ( for dark theme) from black ( on light theme) and hence is not visible. Also, the plum oranges etc mixes doesn’t make sense to me instead more meaningful names for the mixes would be better.

In the last few days, no level of quality on any song is different from the lowest quality available which is 2G. Seems like saavn is intentionally s******* over its user base for maybe Spotify to gain a footing in India? Free user model working for you anymore?

My app has been working great but today suddenly it stopped playing in backgroung on my iPhone. After some time, it fixed on its own without changing any settings. Hoping it will not happen again. I am a paid subscriber but too often the albums I click are not found.

I have been using the premium version of the app ($5/month) for a long time now and have been very patient with the slip ups in the app over the years being that it’s one of the few ways I know of getting access to Indian music. However, it seems to be getting out of control now. Nothing seems to be working on the app (using on iPhone X). Songs skip or get stuck midway, downloaded songs skip order of playback or do a random shuffle even when shuffle is off. Songs playing back are different from the ones shown on the screen or album cover, songs I’ve not ‘liked/loved’ are marked with the ‘heart’ symbol. Developers, please get a handle on this, this is just too far gone an app at this point.

I am a simple girl. If I can play music, its good. Besides youtube, no one can really boast a plethora of songs in my native tongue. Thank you! The only thing I wish for is being able to choose what songs I can listen to, but I’m not a paid user :p so it might be too much of wishful thinking :)

Why its not working until we tap on “go online” always when opening app. It’s annoying. Make this as always online option in settings.

It was the best hindi music app until it had a free ad-supported version. Don’t “force” us to pay money out of a sudden. I understand why pro version is needed for revenue but free or cheaper option needs to stay. You changed your business model (almost) overnight without justifying it to your user base. Hope it works out for you, it won’t for me. Gaana.com it is!

Their 0.99/3months offer is fake and doesn’t work. I clicked on the promotion however was billed 4.99 for every month. I first entered a support request immediately on 10/20 and heard back only on 11/1 saying that they’re late and that they are working on this issue. When I didn’t hear back till 11/7 I inquired about the case status on 11/8 and I got an email immediately asking if case isn’t resolved reply with no to the email. So I did like wise. And then immediately I get another email asking if issue was resolved enjoy else reply no and this continues in a loop without my incorrect billing issue being resolved. Next their player doesn’t work well. When you add songs from weekly top 15 or similar to the player it plays the first song and then automatically jumps to the song that was cached skipping the next song In sequence from the list. Their songs suggestions on radio used to be good and similar to the songs that you liked but these days they play the worst songs as suggestions despite unliking them while on saavn pro. I’m evaluating Apple Music and trusted and successful Spotify.

I had been charged twice in a month for two different plans . I remember subscribing to saavn Pro but then there was another plan music and radio subscribed to simultaneously which I’m pretty sure I never did . And even if I really did subscribe there should have been some sort of intimation before charging me downright .. its ridiculous.!! Fix it or I’m never subscribing to this s***** app

For the sake of posting a review I gave 1 star but I would give NEGATIVE infinity stars if I could. The free version of the app gives you no control of the music you want to hear only shuffle which is a pile of sh**** not worth it !!!

A nice inexpensive streaming service but the app is very buggy. The latest version heats up the phone, drains battery, and then the app hangs. Also songs don’t continue from last place if I reopen the app after say 30 minutes. High time they got the basics right.

Have you ever played songs from Saavn! Only the new released songs play with good sound. Rest of all are crap, Initially I thought my speakers are gone. Eventually when I play songs from YouTube and Gaana they play like a pro. Many updates, nothing fixed. Paying USD 5 per month is waste of money. Saavn made people fools by making the free app as paid app with very poor service. If you have a resolution for this please update your ios app, also remove the PRO feature and PRO quality for songs when you cannot provide quality playlist of songs. Thanks.

Some bug even in the latest version. Drains battery like crazy

I like the overall song collection and the user interface of the app. Sometimes i feel my already downloaded songs do not reflect , when i upgrade the app. But otherwise the experience is flawless. Also i would really like if the app supports voice commands over google home.

App crashes frequently and goes offline.. otherwise its ok.

Why can’t I listen to radio without signing up for a monthly fee? There is no way to bypass the $4.99 fee when signing up. Hopefully you will fix this soon. I just want to stream Desi radio for free. Until you fix it, I will go with Gaana.

In this smart world for a subscription based service like Saavn, a skill on Amazon Alexa is a much needed one. I don’t know why this is taking so much time for Saavn developers to come up with a skill.

I have long asked for an equalizer, and it is finally here. Great work Saavn team! Content is as usual much better in comparison to competitors. Please continue to improve on equalizer, it can be significantly improved - kinda basic right now. UI can be simplified as well.

Not a great app for iOS. Doesn’t work with new watch 3 independently, needs iPhone to run which defeats the purpose of watch 3

How can a much app not run in the background!

Saavan has lost its monopoly ever since Gaana has became popular. You need to stop focusing on getting money and start focusing on how to attract people to get your app. Paying $3.99 a month? Are you kidding??? I can get Spotify premium for that, which by the way if you don't know is a LOT better than Saavan.

Good selection of music for their credit. Deserve 5 Stars for that. But the app needs some substantial update. Thus giving them 3 stars. It keeps crashing on all the apple devices I have.

Liked them when it was ad supported. Did not like the way they locked out all users without warning unless you pay for subscription. This shows a total disrespect for users that made them popular. Switched to Gaana and never looked back.

Saavn is undoubtably the best music app. It has up to date regional music as well with amazing support for different network speeds. And what can I say about customer service... I remember a month ago requested to add equalizer to the app... and today got an update with equalizer ....😊 Saavn team...really appreciate your diligence... Keep up the good work .... 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I’m a paid user.Keeps dropping me off network to offline mode

i use to use this app a lot and i honestly loves it at one point. i have over 500+ songs saved in my playlist and i can’t even play it now because i’m not a Premium User! what c*** is that! this app and its founders clearly are only concerned about making money!

Songs are either jarring or app always in offline mode. Even though I have internet it says cannot connect, other music apps are working fine on same network.. Please fix issues..

A lot of time, the songs streaming online makes weird noise. It feels something is wrong with my headphones. But when I check with Spotify online or play offline songs in Saavn it works perfect. It means issue is with your streaming server. Plus, you don’t have English songs license in USA !!! And third, In Saavn I can’t save only few songs from a playlist with same playlist name. Either I have to save complete playlist or add one after another manually and write playlist name manually. Spotify can do it. Please learn how to implement that. Looking for another service with better quality and more options.

The app fails to start station nearly 50% times and i have 70MB connection Also, why lexus/emirates advertisers? Am paid member and paying to not see/hear adverts. Fix your app and the app recommendations are worst.

Why I have to start with subscription in the first plaxe. Greedy guys, I know I can cancel my subscription in the subscription period, but it doesn't make any sense to force a user. Go get a life with your attitude.

I also find popular rock music such as Coldplay Pink Floyd bob Dylan eagles too. Love this app.

I went thru lot of hoops to register and in the end freaking wants me to buy! Better be upfront that there is no longer a free service. Radio was free, Radio means free! Technology should make things better with same cost effectiveness. Greedy fellas! I rather pay the artist directly by watching their live shows. Have the dignity to stop calling your app as a Radio if there is no free version. Update: saavn team responded - which is good. Though the response didn't take away the need to start a trial even for a free version. I don't see any need to pay for a Radio (don't mind the ads as long as it doesn't intrude into privacy and starts collecting data ). I definitely don't see a need to start a trial. Shoutcast and Tune have free radio stations and Gaana has a free on demand version too.

Hi Saavn Team, Let me explain my problem in just few words: The search functionality is not working with this latest version. It use to work great, but it’s not anymore. Type something in your search bar and see if it returns any results..! Please fix this issue as this is very disappointing.

Pls add lyrics, atleast for the new songs you guys are adding. And it’s a premium service now, I would think it could give you leg up over the competition. Thanks

It would be good for UI team to understand most people in US use the app to play songs whie driving. Navigating the completely unintuitive UI while driving is actually a risk.
