silky draws's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 8/6/18 11:31 PM
This app is fantastic as well as AUM, they work together beautifully. My only wish is there was a way to rate or tag files, that would be great to weed through lots of recordings and organize better.
Nicluther's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 8/30/18 7:08 PM
It’s only useful because other apps need it. But other then that it’s just another file system. The only way this would set it apart from the iOS native files app is if AudioShare had search function by tag like kick, clap, hi hat ect

DJMacDaddy's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 7/23/18 11:30 PM
The only cloud based storage it supports is Dropbox. Most people tend to use google drive these days. But this app hasn’t been updated in... looks like 7 months now. So I’m unsure if anyone is even trying to forward this app any longer. “IF” I am incorrect, and please let me be incorrect, then please work on your import/export options!! There is an iOS app called “Voice Record 7 Pro”. It allows for a TON of import/export options along with base editing of the file. I actually have to use it as the primary importer AND exporter for AudioShare. That’s not a good look for an ‘all in one audio library’! Please update and bring your software forward to meet today’s needs? Thank you.

legaceybeats's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 6/27/18 11:20 PM
I like this app it’s better than all the rest it offers if you file organization options that are very good. However when it comes to doing some photo editing such as searching for all of one type of file like all kicks for all snares, It cannot be done. You have to move all the individual files to a place of your choosing or if you have them stored in a folder you can move them all at once if you’re lucky. If this app receives quicker options on buttons and folders and editing this will definitely be the best app ever for this operation.

This is one of the best music production apps available. Just about every audio app I use imports or exports through this, and I use it daily. Wishlist: - Spectral Analyzer functionality - Cut/Paste editing - Export to Soundcloud feature - The ability to convert/save as mp3

Ian's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 5/25/18 11:45 PM
Love this app! Interface and functionality is solid and polished... love the “measurement mode” that bypasses iOS microphone processing (hipass, EQ), as well as the ability to convert to other audio formats like AAC and ALAC. It’s also very easy to use audio files throughout the iOS environment, like emailing/messaging recordings, or opening recordings in other apps.

Took me a while to figure out what this app’s good for. Now I get it! It’s excellent. I had been using Dropbox to help move audio around from Auria to Twisted Wave to iMovie, etc. The uploads and downloads to Dropbox were time-consuming. AudioShare does the trick, instead. Perfect!
andy_marks's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 4/28/18 10:47 PM
There are plenty of apps to get sound samples from.Just hit the recorder button in AudioShare and the microphone will record but it’s limited to 10 seconds or so then it stops recording.Trimming samples has never been so easy.

Tenente's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 4/21/18 7:38 PM
I waited a long time to get this. Only used GarageBand. In minutes this replaced 40% of GB use on iPhone (not iPad - due to financial, not technical, reasons.) Was looking for a way to MIX/MASTER using inter app audio, not auv3, and this exceeded my expectations as a great way to do both (on a phone) - AND for less than $5. Very intuitive use & gives more control over the final exported mix than GB. The dev also has a suite of respected, inexpensive MIX/MASTER apps that fills a void in phone-based music production. I wasn’t aware how much my creativity could be impacted by a function of utility. This is necessary for phone-based music production; especially when your limitations are economical, not technological.
wizards walk's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 4/16/18 6:42 PM
I ordered AudioShare to find out whether it would enable me to run a web-based application at customer sites using nothing more than a standard Dropbox account, an iPhone (or iPad), and a USB mic fitted with an adapter. While I wished AudioShare had a feature set that allows me to delete long pauses and unwanted noise from recordings, it's not a deal breaker. What prevents me from rating the app as a 5 is that it doesn't have a menu option to save files at a 32k sample rate. My specialized web app doesn't recognize 22k or 44k sample rate files.

Just pointing out a bug or something. On my iPhone 6 audioshare does not appear in files app (which came from the latest iOS update). So when importing from other apps such as Blocswave, I cannot access audioshare. AUM appears, which is a kymatica app. Maybe the problem is on my iPhone, or apples software update. I’m stumped. I’m sure that it’s bug or something because on my iPad Air 2 audioshare is available in the Files app. Other than that audioshare is an essential app, love it.

I don’t know where to start with this app I mean iOS has a really strict way of moving around the filesystem, but with this app he has made everything better...thanks to the Dev. So hopefully things move forward in developing and this app stays at the top of the list because this is probably the MAIN, and first app you should get if you are even THINKING about making music on your iPad iPhone or anything on iOS. . mrdogheadSHoGoAT's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/2/17 3:53 PM
Please - this tool cries out for basic cut/copy-and-paste editing. Yes, I have editors that can do this. But this app is where many of us manage our audio files. To have to go to another app to do very basic editing slows everything down. Given the things this does well - others have listed them, so I’ll skip a repetition - one would think cut/copy-and-paste would already be in the feature set. Years into its existence, AudioShare still lacks this function set. I still use the app for what is does do. It remains an important app for music on this platform. I have to tell you, though - it would make my life disproportionately easier to have simple editing features available to speed so many little chores without having to go in and out of other apps. I am certain the same would be true for many other people. For file conversion, auditing, sharing, storing, etc., this is the standard - the outstanding example of the type. My comment above focuses on something that, for the moment, the app author has chosen not to do.

DasAlpine's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/16/18 1:20 PM
The program does what I need it to do, quickly and efficiently, without crashing. This for me is a necessary product as the music sounds apps often do not handle conversions and export/import well. The interface feels more like a computer than an iOS device, but it's not bad-it's rather more powerful than most iOS interfaces. The handling and transfer of files in and out of the iTunes library is one thing that is not intuitive or easy, but everything else is.
Tokyo Blue's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/16/18 1:20 PM
I would like it if it showed the BPM of the audio, which would be particularly helpful for loops. Ideally I would love a built in time stretch algorithm, it would save me soooooo much time with my music projects. Please consider this.
Eriptron's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/16/18 1:20 PM
Audioshare was the best thing for me since sliced bread. It's easy to use and with the exception of the envelope icon not emailing anything, I have had no problems with Audioshare and I constantly use it. And to our one star ASSUMER friend, your assumption is correct. You CAN move the entire contents of a folder at one time. I just did it. See in the app help. Excellent app though, which keeps getting better and better.

Essential workaround to iOS's confounding audio file management limitations. Lets you record (w/DSP if you opt for plug ins) then easily send to other apps for editing or upload. The audio monitor is intuitive and ingenious. AudioShare lets you convert bit depth, sample rates and format (WAV, AIF, MP4, but not MP3.). You can upload directly from AudioShare to SoundCloud.
Seth Draven's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/16/18 1:20 PM
I almost never take the time to review apps, but after using this for a few months I can honestly say that it's amazingly beneficial to me as an all-around musician. I especially find its wifi drive to be super useful, so if you have a sound stored in AudioShare on your phone or iPad that you want to download to your computer, you don't have to export it to another cloud drive or mail app to send it to yourself. As a musician who works mostly in-the-box, but often out as well, having this app has made it so much more efficient to transfer and record audio between not only different apps on your iPad or other portable DAW, but also between all devices—especially if you're like me and tend to mix and match multiple DAWs, operating systems, and so on. The built-in tools have come in handy much more often than I even expected them to, like the file converter and the normalizer. The only woe I have about this app is that I wish they would re-instate the "import audio from browser" feature included in the past versions, but I also understand how that could've been problematic as it put the creator(s) at risk of enabling piracy. However, it would be fantastic if they could find a way to bring that back without the obvious risk of that power being used for evil rather than good. I give this app a full 5 stars, I'd give it more if I could; it's essential for any musician who can get their hands on it, especially at a price such that even a broke bedroom-studio artist like me can afford it.

_AGNDA_'s Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/16/18 1:20 PM
- Ableton Link support - The ability to set record loop lengths like how Loopy does. For example, if I had if you apps playing in the background and I wanted to record a 4 Bar Loop, I could simply set AudioShare to record 4 bars and it would start at first downbeat of the next bar. That way you would get perfectly recorded loops that are the exact length you want, rather than having to go back in to AudioShare after and crop them to length. - the ability to preview / audition MIDI files IN TIME with playing background audio - The ability to search a not just folders, but FOLDER CONTENTS. As it currently is, if you search a folder for ".mid" (MIDI files) and that folder only contains other folders it will not return any results. Instead, you have to tap down the folder hierarchy to get to the folder where the MIDI files are stored. Overall, great app from an exceptional developer. Would highly recommend checking out his new app called AUM btw - it is top notch. And no, I am not related or affiliated in any way.

This is one of those apps that everyone has used for something different. This speaks volumes to its versatility. It is such a solid app it should be included as a "stock" system app, but until that happens pick this one up as it is the de facto inter-app audio sharing app (with Audio-Copy)
Habib Wakil's Review of AudioshareReviewed on 12/13/17 3:34 AM
I don't understand why you can't integrate a download browser... I can download anything that I want into Aloha Browser and keep it there or if I want I can press the share button and save it to Dropbox... From there I can download it into any music app that integrates with Dropbox including Audio Share... For the customer that asked the question, that is a workaround, albeit, something that Audio Share could easily implement as other browsers have.

If you’re reading this you’re probably in need of a multifunctional music App. Well I recommend this because it does everything described by the Developer and more. I’ve been using iPhones since the first day the original iPhone was released for sale in the United States. I think the date was June 29, 2007 or thereabouts. Plus I've owned so many different models of iPhone and AudioShare has followed me from iPhone to iPhone. Anyway, I've been using AudioShare since it first appeared on the App Store. I knew I had a winner from the very beginning and it just keeps getting better. Actually, I think it’s iOS and the iPhones which are getting better because I have noticed or needed many changes to Audioshare. And I think your reason is Jonatan (Kymatica) made this App correctly the first time. Now you get the benefit of all my experience with out having to: a). own 4000+ Apps b). have 10+ years iPhone experience 🚶🏻♂️____microphone drop ___ walks off ____

As epic as ever, and the ALAC support is pretty interesting. But my question is if we can get the browser, or even a version of wget to download files directly inside like the old days. :-) I'm using FileBrowser right now to do it for stuff like free downloads from SoundCloud (it's how I check how much they trash a new upload from anything on my iOS devices) and was hoping the SDK/Apple AppStore policies might have changed to allow that again. I'm only asking on here as the dev is pretty quick, and others might still be wondering. Thanks.

All the Sounds travel seamlessly through the App. From exporting from Groovebox or Blocs Waves into AudioShare. Trimming , normalizing and converting from MP4 into Wave files. It’s all very simple and you can organize your files into folders into sub folders. Then exporting the files back out. It’s a great storage and through station for your sound files. I was skeptical about spending the money on it but it’s been well worth the few bucks I spent on it instead of getting my iced whatever at Starbucks that day. And, it’s still around versus the iced whatever which would have been long gone. And with the use of DropBox with it things go pretty seamlessly. Also, read the user Manual. It’s there and it’s helpful so are the cats who have made the app. They are responsive to emailed queries.
