Luis at PMD soft was excellent with resolving my problems with this software. We had inadvertently installed the incorrect user for the software on my I-phone and Luis helped get the software straightened out so I could stay current with my updates. Clone him! We need about 50 more like him Thanks Luis!

Not free. Can one trust these guys?

$200/ month - NO THANKS!

I downloaded the "free" app. It asked for user name and password and would not run. When I called the company, they tried to take my demographic info and said there is no free app. I assume that reviews to the contrary are bogus.

The addition of appointment calander makes this excellent billing software even better.

Was a great app until I updated to latest version! Now crashes upon opening! Wait for next update and don't install this one!

I round at 4 hospitals and 5 dialysis units. I used to carry charge cards for billing and would routinely miss 4-5 bills per week (especially when I came in late at night to admit another MDs patient). The pMDSoft charge capture has improved my charge capture rate tremendously, and my billing service noted an increase in billing by 10% since starting to use the software. Also,the billing service no longer calls to interpret my handwriting. The bills are going out daily decreasing billing delays significantly. I like the program so much I am now using it for my office visits. Highly recommended.

The app does not have an option for users who have forgotten their passwords. Very frustrating.

I formerly used the Palm OS version of this program for 18 months and was already impressed . The iPhone version makes capturing charges during rounds super easy. I can create a new patient file in our practice database in a few seconds. A day's worth of charges which used to take literally an hour to input for our biller now takes about 10 minutes. The patient census is updated so fast that I can even tell which one of associates is making rounds while the app is running. I have nothing but praise for the app and its developers.

This was a pathetic bait and switch scheme. Be truthful and say it's over-priced and not that it's free. This is by no means a free app. Downloading this was like ordering a new widget at a great price and when it arrives in the nice size box, all you find is an ad for an expensive widget.

This is an extremely easy to use and useful program. I am concerned about the inability to track quality data however. This feature would make the program more worth its cost and it would also keep the program competitive. There are others, like IngeniousMed, and several EMRs that have mobile capablity and offer the quality data tracking features. Im worried that pMDSoft is now obsolete. I am certain it is no longer worth the expense.

This program has been extremely useful in capturing charges that I would have otherwise lost! We all have forgotten to turn in that charge, or at least I have and this program almost eliminates that because my iPhone is always with me. This is a dynamic program with an incredibly effecient and helpful support staff. I have a strong pain management practice with patients at 3 hospitals and two surgicenters along with my clinic. Finally I have a simple way of keeping track of those patients and my schedule. We were their first practice to use GE Centricity practice management and they bent over backwards to facilitate the interface between Centricity and pMDsoft. Whenever there is a problem (very few), or when we need a new ICD or CPT code, they have it for us in less than 24 hours and usually within the hour. I would rate this program higher but there is a bit of a learning curve and I think they should offer more in the way of written instructions when you first start. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars. I have been using this program going on a year now and have been extremely pleased. I see in other reviews that pMDsoft is blasted for saying it is not really free like the App store says, and it is not and that should be claried more. You are paying for use of their server and extensive programming on their part. But you get what you pay for. If you want an easy way to keep your schedules and your in house patients on your favorite smart phone, this is it. Another important feature is the footprint on the phone is very small as the data is kept on their server. I highly recommend this program and would purchase it again.

I am very suprised to report that our physicians love using this program. It was very easy to use, and charges are bring processed much quicker and no lost papers. Interface with Nextgen was up and running quickly and ver good interaction during that process. Some improvements we hope to see is the ability to have our charges sync back into Nextgen automatically and customizable password policy.

Best thing I have started in a very long time. Exceptional elbow support and amazing people. I would never go back to my old way of billing.

The pMDsoft billing system has made my life so much easier and saves me hours of time per week. The process is easier and saves mounds of paper that was being wasted on billing by hand. Luis is great at getting you started and makes it easy for you no matter how computer illiterate you are!

I have used the latest version of this app on my iphone for several months and have found it to be easy, efficient and economically the smartest move my practice could have made. The app is bulletproof and the service is spectacular. Superior product, superior company.

Outstanding app, and no, I don't work for pMDsoft and have no affiliation with them. This app and service has streamlined billing and rounding at multiple hospitals and diaylsis units for me and my partner. Some reviewers are obviously confused- the app is free, but for the software and accompanying service and interface there is a start-up fee and monthly service fee, which is well worth it. This not a bait and switch as some have suggested, but a well thought out and very easy to use program that improves billing and efficiency. Highly recommend for any physician.

PMDSoft is a great program that is straight forward and easy to use. I have used 2 other programs for rounding and charge capture, and I have demoed several others. None of them even come close to pMDsoft in terms of functionality and ease of use! Unlike the other programs that were cumbersome to use and slowed down my rounding on patients, PMDSoft is quick and simple to use on a daily basis. With PMDSoft the syncing goes on in the background every few minutes. You don’t have to do anything to sync. When my office staff add a new patient to my list on their computer, the patient shows up on my iPhone screen in less than a minute! is. It actually makes my rounding faster and more efficient. The databases can be customized to your specialty. I simply type a few letters of the diagnoses or procedure, tap on the correct one from the list and then tap done. It is all very intuitive. Support from the company has been outstanding.

It's a very intuitive app to use without too many bells and whistles. Doctors love using it for their rounding list, it updates in real-time and the secure messaging platform is as easy as texting without the hipaa-violations. It captures charge and clinical data quickly and inefficiently without disrupting workflow and the user interface is simple in design. It's a great app for doctors and medical staff!
