I really love this app. I love the notifications that I get that are super close to real time, maybe just a second or two delay. The cameras are great and I have the 24/7 monitoring service. One thing I find myself wishing for would be to be able to play back the video on the cameras at different speeds. Such as 2x the speed or 3x. I know I can scrub the video by moving my finger along the bar but on my outside camera sometimes if you scrub the video and skip 3-5 seconds you can miss a whole person walking up to the door or something important. If I was able to see the video at 2x the speed without having to scrub I would be able to catch someone if they walk by the camera frame. Otherwise no complaints. Great app and great service.

Comcast changed the app and my thermostat schedule no longer works. After numerous conversations with tech support they said that they would send a service tech to check it out with a service charge. It appears that they just want to sell me a new thermostat to be compatible with the software that they modified.

Very simple design. Please keep it that way. Also, it would be helpful if you could outline how much additional sensors cost to set up. Is it a small purchase per sensor, or is there an additional “monitoring” monthly fee for each additional sensor?

This App is fantastic!! I haven’t had to fight any of my wife’s Sanchos because I can see them coming or going... This helps me a lot.

App now takes forever to display overview. I typically open the app when at my front door to disarm and now it is taking such a long time, even if I close and restart the app while I’m home and connected to Wi-Fi, I’m staring at “now connecting to your home” for what feels like forever. Since I’m having such trouble disarming from my phone, I have to disarm it from the keypad which of course sets the alarm off when I open my front door. The app used to work fine, don’t know what’s changed.

Convenient and easy! At times it takes a few minutes to take command but that may be that my iPhone needs updating!

Glass breakers malfunction

I had an incident where a loud noise on the outside of my home made a glass breaker to alarm. I tried to reset from the app. This was over two months ago, I still have to override the glass breaker in the app in order to set my alarm. As convenient as it is to check my home when away, it is very frustrating to keep experiencing this problem. Ugh!!

Batteries

Great system except for the batteries. One of the battery for one of the sensors is always dead or getting there, so the system doesn’t always arm. Specialty batteries are hard to find. Xfinity should buy batteries in bulk as a service to their loyal customers.

I feel safer since I had the alarm system put in. The installation was superb. The installation worker was prompt and very efficient in installation and explanation of the system. I have three video cameras one that watches the backyard, one that watches the driveway, and one that watches the front of the house. Since my mother comes to visit me in the driveway taking video camera is so important to watch her as she comes in to the house, also I can watch the dog when he is in the backyard doing his thing. I am very pleased and grateful for this sense of security I have in my home now. This was money well spent I am so pleased that I give Comcast a high-five and a great big thank you.
