Love the app! Very helpful in planning, but the app appears to not be compatible with a tablet/iPad. Will to ever be?

It kind gives you a time line, suggestions, ideas, keeps track of important lists and you can adjust it to your schedule. I do wish you could link the account to more than just you and your significant other.

I can’t seem to do the new upgrade and now if t won’t allow me to use the app :(

Everything was working perfectly until I updated now whatever picture attachment they send I can’t see it and it takes me out of the app 🙄🙄

Cool app but would be much more useful if there was iPad optimized version. Would also like to see WatchOS app with guest metrics and maybe matching complication. Also Apple TV app that couldvstream photos people share in real-time at wedding. Lots of potential here but would like to see more. Would even be willing to pay for these features.

I love that it breaks everything down on when things need to happen and let me know when I’m staying in budget! Very helpful was a lot of outlets too!

Love it! Keeps me organized and up to date on my timeline for the wedding!

Really nice app just wish you could personalize more options

This app was my favorite wedding planning app. Since the update it crashes and it won’t let me upload my picture on the main screen which is super annoying. I think I’ll just go back to the Knot.

Zip codes can be entered into the website, but not via the app, nor do they appear in the app.

Does a great job of providing local services all in one place.

I live in a small town in Oklahoma, the venues near me are not on the app. Only ones in Tulsa, or Broken Arrow are. When sending messages to venues or catering, if they respond by sending an attachment for pricing etc, i am unable to open it (I have an iPhone X and it used to open, now it doesn’t). When looking at forums (advice/discussions from other brides) it will not let me view the conversation nor comments. Which is unfortunate. I love the idea to see what other people are planning. When clicking on the honeymoon places, such as North America, or Mexico, it acts like it’s loading a page, but then stay on the same one without any new information. Very frustrating. But the checklist, being able to browse vendors/venues/photographers/catering (even though more expensive because it features a big city) is very handy. The reviews are recent and helpful of the vendors. Overall 4 stars because it gives you a guideline and some starting ideas.

I think this app is wonderful and helps a ton with wedding planning. However, there are a few things that can improve: 1) in the message section some messages do not load and/or the pictures come up huge; 2) also in the message section, the names of the vendors should be a direct link to the vendor itself. It’s very hard to figure out who is texting you, and often times the easiest way is just to click on the name but at the moment this is not possible; 3) the interface needs to have more links to every option.

Not useful if planning a destination wedding won’t allow u to enter vendors out the country.

The new update is terribly. I used to swear by this app, and after the update, it’s become my worst nightmare. There’s so much back and forth you have to do, it takes an hour to upload anything, and it’s just plain hard to navigate now. I used WeddingWire over The Knot because it was more user friendly to me. With the new update, I regret using WeddingWire now. Don’t waste your time if the app is going to stay with the new update, it’s horrible.

This was the best wedding planner ever!!. This woman was sent from heaven above, we had hired a wedding planner that we had gotten off of the Knott ,who totally took advantage of us. She hired bogus vendors and the wedding of my dreams would have been a disaster. Jennifer was referred to us thirty days before our September 2018 wedding for 160 people that were flying in from all over the country. From the very first meeting, she amazed us with her ability ,she saw our vision for the day .She also could tell how worried we were that noting had been done and the wedding was 29 days away. She immediately calmed us down and got to work. She continued to reassure us that she would make everything beautiful and she did. She didn’t stop, she put us first over everything in her life. I got emails at midnight from her and 7 am. She picked out dishes, napkins, food, cake, candles, flower, photographer Everything...This woman is elegant ,classy business woman, she is a mother and a wife but her clients are just as important as her family . The day of the wedding was magical, we were able to enjoy the day because Jennifer and her team had it all taken care of. ❤️ Thank you Jennifer for everything, you were truly heaven sent....Tracy Eatmon and Brooke Nolen

I’ve had to change our date a few times now and this app has made it EFFORTLESS!!! The timeline for our checklist, etc is adjusted to that new date.

Horrible, it won’t let me choose the correct region I even have my location on but my choices always end up being eastern Mexico or San Antonio Texas I guess that’s what I get for living at the tip of Texas 🙄

I like this app! It’s pretty easy to use and I love that you can delete stuff off your check list if you don’t need it! You can also put pictures up as well! This app and my wedding book go hand in hand! Best wedding app ever! ❤️

As someone with a small budget I was worried about how to handle wedding planning. This app has given me a timeline checklist and everything I need to create my special day.

I love wedding wire as a whole, it’s great for a lot of wedding planning and for community. The app on the other hand is very limited. I had very high hopes for the new update but it doesn’t follow through on most of its promises. Many times I’ve clicked a new feature only for it to pretend to load but load the same page I was on. I also can’t seem to get the notifications to go away. I hate having the red number notifications on my phone but no matter what I click inside the app nothing makes them disappear.

After updating app is slow and unresponsive.

Could definitely use a delete option in the discussion boards. People were less than helpful when I asked for help. Instead they berated me for having different ideas and opinions then them. Now I’m constantly getting alerts of more negative comments. Would be easier to just delete my original post. I don’t even want to use the app anymore due the constant negative comments in my inbox.

Was a major help with planning my wedding!!

Hi there, This app has been great for me in my wedding planning thus far. I love all that it offers, and I agree with some of the other reviews that mention how it would be nice if users could delete certain things that don’t apply for their wedding specifically. If I could add to the app, I would suggest, within the planning tools section to incorporate some sort of wedding day timeline planner if possible. Right now it’s hard to us to decide how much time to allocate for certain things, and if this app was able to give us ideas of certain wedding day timelines that would be awesome! Best, Alexis

The forums are horrendous. It’s just loads of women being awful to each other when brides don’t plan their wedding according to the etiquette of the 1950’s. I gave it two stars because I have found maybe one vendor through there. So I can’t say it hasn’t helped.

Before wedding wire did an update it worked smoothly, I was able to browse through the app with no problems. Now that the update has happened every time I go to write I message to my vendors the app closes. Same with if I try to load attachments they send; they don’t load then crashes and the app closes. It’s getting frustrating.

So far, this app has done well keeping me in track and organized! Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when you’re a diy type of bride. I like that WW lays out each task with a due date, even gives you tips on how to go about certain things and/or what to look out for or ask about. This app does get a little whacky at times and is slow with loading but overall, I really enjoy it!

It’s a nice app, but it’s too controlled. It’s the 3rd app I’ve downloaded. It gives a lot of info on vendors etc in area, but what I would love is the app to be more tailored for people on a budget- send us dresses from reasonable price stores instead of designers, but stores like David bridal and show when they have sales etc. Also show venues that aren’t over priced. And mainly I would like to get rid of unnecessary categories like having a band- I don’t need one. I mean if you guys can give the option to add categories it should also be made easy to delete categories a person doesn’t need. Or a venue location, my ceremony and reception is going to be in my backyard so again should make categories easy to delete and not force me to search for a venue.

I loved this app, it was so cute and easy to use. Now every time I try to open the app it says I need to update but I don’t have any updates available for the app. I’m basically locked out and can’t get back on even though I’m as updated as I can be. Very annoying. I had informative posts and had my vendors through the app. 🙄

I use this app mainly for the forum which has been a huge help! The community on wedding wire is amazing! I also love that you earn points by participating in or creating forums. It gives me motivation to chat more! I also love that you can create your wedding registry right from the app.

After the update there are tons of bugs. Right now the badge notification “1” will not go away no matter what I do. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. There is no message or anything to view but yet it won’t go away. Switching from one thing to another doesn’t always work as well. You Have to go back and forth multiple times to get something to load. You also can’t delete any messages now, which makes it difficult to keep track of things when you are narrowing vendors down. Additionally, even when you say “not interested” in a vendor, they still stay on your vendor list.

I know I rated the app 4 stars, but it would have been five before. The app was recently updated, and it took away the picture of my fiancé and me together. I went to upload it again and have tried several times, but the app is not responding to this. It’s very frustrating.

I don’t know what I would do without this app. It has made everything so much easier. I honestly wonder what people did before this app existed.

I can’t upload a photo for my cover ! I’ve tried a dozen times and it won’t do anything. Things just seem more difficult to navigate. It was perfect before in my opinion

Very helpful and a great planning assistant. Awesome that you can plan with your fiancée or fiancé as well.

I love this app it helps me stay organized! I’m still trying to learn how to do everything,but it really helps.

Pretty useful app in general but there were a few updates throughout me using it which took away some key features in my opinion. This created a little difficulty for me as I continued to use the app.

I am not sure what update took place, but for a brief moment I was able to access the Wedding website within the app itself. Now I no longer see it, but the Wedding Wire for Guests is now in its place. What happened????

Would be great if both me and my fiancée could access all our info on the app. Also, would be very helpful if I could upload my guest list vs adding one by one. And if I could filter venues or other providers to see only the ones I “hearted” so I can revisit them.

This app is not user friendly when using on my iPad due to screen size, it would be amazing if this could be fixed!

I really do love wedding wire. They have been such a useful tool for planning my wedding. I love their layout and all the tools they provide. However, the only reason for giving it 3 stars and not 5 is due to the wedding website feature. Unfortunately, they do not make it very easy to navigate. I also feel it does not give the user full capabilities. I accidentally clicked on the “disable function” one time and little to my knowledge that meant deleting the entire website. Support told me they could not re-enable it and that it should have asked me if I was sure I wanted to disable it before making the choice final. It never asked me if I was sure, it automatically did it. It was so sad to learn my hard work and careful planning of over 6 months for my website had gone to waste. I know The Knot gives you a couple of days to reactivate your website if you delete it. If only wedding wire would make it easier to navigate and not as easy to delete your website with the click of one button, then I would have loved to rate it 5 stars. I have heard too many people have issues with their website. My registry on WeddingWire also does not show the correct amount of items I’m registered for. Had I known all this before hand, I would have gone with the Knot for my wedding website specifically. Hope this helps others not make the same mistake as myself!

But you guys have a lot of things running very slow. Like you guys need to get the bug fixes situated but over all a good app

I used this app for checklist reminders and as a countdown to my wedding and the a count post wedding - every now and then I’ll check it and know I’ve been married for x amount of days - yay! Then they changed it. New version is just the website in phone form. Boooo.

This app is amazing! It is great to have everything in one place! I just wish it also had a a simple note place too

Wedding wire has been so helpful in planning my wedding and actually connecting me with vendors! Love it! Would definitely recommend!

It is easy to use. You can go in and change anything easily, whether it’s the date, budget, personalize it. They give you vendors and places around to plan your wedding based on location and distance. Some vendors and services aren’t on here and you have to google them. Wedding wire checklist is perfect for date to date planning. It tells you how far out what you need done all the way up to the day of. I love it!
