My husband and I bought this app after a failed attempt to use the traditional walkie-talkie style baby monitors. We have used it from the moment we brought our daughter home. It allows you to see your child like using Facetime or Skype and you can speak to them. We love the sounds and lullaby’s on it as well. It’s especially useful that you can change the volume and turn the sound on or off from your end of the monitor. It had been user friendly even for someone who lacks technology know-how, like myself. Now that our little one has learned how to crawl out of her crib, we are using this app to catch her before she can crawl out. We can calmly discipline her through the monitor. Our only problem with the app is that once you turn on the music or adjust the light on the receiving end of the monitor, the adjuster graphic stays up so that some of the video is blocked. It would be nice if it went away or you could click it away or something. But it’s not that big of a deal. If you have a couple of Apple devices and a baby, then I highly recommend this app.

GREAT !!!

You won’t need another monitor. The clarity and sound capabilities are far better than the ones on the AngelCare monitor and a tiny fraction of the cost.

LOVE , LOVE, LOVE this app!

Before having my son I did some research to find a good baby monitor, but I harshly realized that their prices were out of this world! So, me being an apple user with multiple apple products decided to look for an app that could do the same and then I found this app that does what any other expensive baby monitor would do saving me a ton of money! I highly recommend this to all the future mommas that are looking for a budget friendly baby monitor!

Work with Android??

My daughter got an Android tablet (Galaxy Tab E) recently and I was going to use it for her new monitor also. but when I paid the $5 to download it it would not work with my iPhone SE. then my smart self sees the note that the iOS and Android apps are not working together yet. Please make it happen soon!!! Other than that the app has been fantastic!

Perfect

We needed this! Why pay more than 3.99 when this app does everything.

Waste of money!

Update: first few days app worked great now it’s not reliable at all! It’s constantly having linking and connecting issues. And no we do not have an old crappy router as the developer seems to imply in their responses to others saying the same thing. Will have to buy a regular monitor now as we can’t take the chance of not hearing our baby on the other side of the house. Also battery guzzler. Went to sleep at midnight with battery at 100%, woke up at 8am with a dead phone. No the phone didn’t glitch! The app drained the entire battery. *** Have had it for a couple of hours after our vtech monitor of 5 years crapped out on us at 11pm. All the stores were closed so had to think of something. We just so happened to have an extra old phone that I powered up and set as the baby unit to leave the parents’ phones free. Only two things I would add. Some type of attachment to tell me temperature. Temperature varies throughout the house like crazy so that would be helpful. Some type of attachment for night vision so I can see baby all night long without turning the bright camera light/screen brightness on. All in all super good for $3.99 when most baby monitors are 80-165 bucks. For people saying they wish it had a live recording feature you can just use the record your screen option that comes standard on iPhone. Go to settings, control center, customize controls and select screen recording. Now when you swipe up to access your controls it will be there. Can record video and do screen captures as photos of the video.

Awesome app! I have a home daycare and I set this up every day using an older iPhone so that the mom can check in and see her baby is doing great any time she wants! I also use it as a baby monitor myself when I am not in the same room as the baby! The clarity is great! Definitely worth the money

So far so good
