My doctor recommended this app when I was in the hospital following a stroke. I had told him that I wouldn't be able to relax and get any rest because I slept with a 'white noise machine' at home. He actually installed the app for me and I slept well except for when they kept coming in to 'check on me'!

But as soon as I move this to the background and open my Kindle app it quits playing. So disappointed!!!

I had been using the app for a while, but last night at 2 in the morning, a loud audio ad started playing through the app. I understand that ads are needed to make apps free, but loud audio ads in a white noise app? Who the h*** thought of this? Uninstalling.

Great free app, love the variety of sounds. I appreciate how well they block out noise due to being very intense/full sounds. Wish it would play in the background when I open another app..

This app earned my 5-star rating until I learned its one very inconvenient hiccup. It, without a doubt, has the best sound of any I’ve heard yet - even better than my embarrassingly high-priced standalone sound machine. Truly, the only drawback is that you can’t go into any other apps without the sound turning off. For some people who may use this app only for sleep that is absolutely no problem. For me, however, that is a more bothersome problem as I use my phone for contacting clients, navigation, scheduling appointments, etc. When my relaxing zen mindset is interrupted because I need to answer an email, it takes me a good few minutes to get back in the zone. If they ever allow this app to continue in the background while using other apps, I would gladly reinstate my five star rating.

Some creeps hacked at least two (2) of the sounds: (1)Thunderstorm (2) Rain Storm I assume they’re young guys because they’ve figured out how to do some type of.virtual reality into your home while your sleeping...you literally wake up to someone climbing up from the foot of your bed under the covers. They don’t speak and if you move the cover, poof, they vanish. I know this sounds outlandish but I’ve had it occur twice now over the past two months even though I switched sounds. So, try it out if you want to check it out yourself but personally I won’t be using this app anymore.

I love the sounds but when using this you cannot use your phone for anything else. There are other apps that allow you to text while using. I wake early and if I’m have this running and have other people in the room I cannot check messages or email.

I think the only improvement needed is to make other apps accessible while it is on. I can't check mail, messages, play games or anything while it is on.

I love this app!!! I have a difficult time falling asleep and this app helps! The ocean waves calm me right away and reminds me of being on the beach! And there is no adds like YouTube. To summarize this, get this app!!

This app always helps me fall asleep and the variety is really pleasant.

I’ve used this app for about 7 years now and have found that whichever sound you know you’d sleep to can easily be attained with this app. My personal favorite is the extreme rain and it has gotten me through the best sleep of my life. Many other noises on the app will also just cause you to relax so quickly and fall asleep. Anytime I get a new phone or backup my storage onto a new phone, honestly, my first priority is making sure I have the white noise app downloaded so I know I’m guaranteed amazing sleep. After all this time, thank you white noise...really.

App keeps crashing and the sudden silence is what wakes me up every time. Probably going to start using a different app from now on.

I don’t always have problems sleeping... but when I do, it’s generally a dog somewhere in the neighborhood that won’t hush til the sun comes up, sharing a room with a chronic snorer, or heaven forbid if I have a gig to work in the next couple hours, racing thoughts that I can’t shut off, or something like that. Then I got this app. It drowns out the noise in the neighborhood and the noise in my head, without being super loud. Plenty of great ambient noises to work their magic on your restless mind. from the hum of a passenger plane, to the droning of a motel air conditioner, a clothes dryer gently tumbling, and many different levels of rain showers to thunder storms. Personally love the pink noise. Give it a shot. Nothing to lose but a better nights sleep. More stars!

Works like a charm. My go to sound is the crickets. Set the timer for 20 minutes and boo yah, I'm out!😴💤💤💤 Although I’ve already gave you a review y’all still keep asking me for another. Nothing’s changed. I still use it weekly.

I normally sleep with a loud fan on at night because that’s what my family used to do, and now I can’t sleep without one! I used to stay up all night trying to sleep without a fan, and melatonin never helped me. I finally discovered this app a year or two ago, and have loved it ever since. Not only is it useful for just white noise, but there are also things like crowded room sounds, purring cat sounds, and any sounds that you need to help you relax. Absolutely the best white noise app on the market! 🙂

We’ve been using it nightly for a little over a year now, and my daughter sleeps so soundly—even when my infant does her screaming/shrieking baby thing. The sound plays all night long and barely drains any battery. Love it!

Living with noisy traffic makes it very difficult to sleep. Finally after trying different apps I tried this and pink noise is my favorite. It blocks out all noise and is relaxing!

It’s great! Helped me relax and fall asleep easier. One thing I wish it had though was a wider variety of sounds. They mostly have water related noises compared with the rest. I like the alarm that comes with it though. Saves me the hassle of setting one on my other app. All in all, pretty good, just wish I had a wider variety of sounds.

I like the variety of sounds; there’s more than just white noise (which is like nails on a chalkboard to me) and you can make your own mixes of sounds you like together, along with adjusting how loud each individual sound is, that way one does not drown out the other

Really nice app with a good variety of sounds. Helped a lot with my newborn baby - we use the pink noise. Wish you didn't have to pay extra to be able to keep playing sound after exiting the app, but I get it.

The variety of sounds is great.

I have a hard time sleeping in shared spaces with other people. Snoring or weird repetitive sounds keep me awake. I downloaded this app on a trip when I had to share a hotel room with two snorers. I put my headphones in, turned the app on and slept great. I use it all the time now!

For the paid version, please add the ability to pre-set the volume level for auto play on app open. That way the sound doesn’t startle. Please add full audio controls for the watch app. I OFTEN start the app up from my watch before bed. It’d be nice to adjust the sound from my watch also.

This is the most relaxing app used to take a nap or sleep! I’ve used so many of these apps for sleeping and I could not see ONE I liked. A special thanks to Hannah my best friend to recommending this sleeping app! After I used this one night in the morning, I knew I had to delete all of my sleeping apps and keep this one. I have problems falling asleep & staying asleep, whether I am at home or traveling. This App SOLVES this issue for me & it is also great for relaxing from a tense Day as well ! The choices are amazing to make your own mix sounds, it BEATS All the other Apps hands down !!

I always sleep with a fan. On rare occasions I’m caught without, this app always saves the day! I use it on my phone or ipad. I can let the app run all night and it uses only 10-20% battery life! Thats not bad for letting the app run for 8 hours. This app is a must. My favorites sounds are the “brown noise”, and all the different rain sounds.

My work schedule alternates between day and night shifts. When I work nights it can be hard to fall asleep during the day, and this app really helps. There is a large variety of sounds to choose from, and the range of available volume levels is more than adequate (goes from zero to significantly higher than I would want). I have the paid version, which has easily been worth every penny. I'm using it on my iPhone SE, in case it makes a difference (I doubt if it does).

I really like the variety of choices this app has to offer and I have to have background noise to sleep. I’ve even used it for my grandson as well as my dog when I’m visiting somewhere that has frequent noises or disturbances that alarm my dog. It makes the visit much more tranquil for everyone.

I have used this app for years. I always use the brown noise sound. But 7 times this past year I have woken up to hear voices behind the brown noise sound. It’s very freaky. It’s never at the beginning but always hours into it. Will not use anymore. I read through old reviews cause I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I’m not the only one who has heard the talking.

Great app and sounds. The air conditioning sound is closest to your basic white noise. I use it regularly. Only downside is it won’t stay on in background if you minimize app but honestly I’m using it to sleep primarily so Not a huge deal.

I love this app. I have sensory issues and sometimes I need to listen to white noise but most apps have sounds that bother me a lot and make the sensory issue worse. But this app allows me to mix and fade in the sounds as they work for my ears which is perfect!!! So thankful for this app. I would also love if they released a few new sounds every now and then to spice it up :)

Helps me sleep when I’m traveling for work and staying up to 2 weeks at a time in hotels where other guests’ schedules don’t necessarily sync up with mine. Went from 4 hours average to 7 hours or more once I started using this app. Can’t believe it’s free!

Works great, even better when using an audio cable or Bluetooth to a larger speaker (my bedside radio has an AUX input). I've masked my wife's snoring and find I can use different combinations and volumes to mask other annoying sounds when I'm traveling in different places. Besides, it's just a whole lot of fun to play with.

I’ve been using this app for two years I can’t do without it now you can make custom sounds by blending them or tried made by accident but it’s cool it’s even better so you got Get it so you can figure out what blend you would like in all rain thunder lightning in the airplane and it comes out really cool so I’ll give it a shot

I cannot sleep without this app and this is free. The many sound options is very useful. Also, the app shows the time in the night. That is helpful when I wake up in the middle of the night.

I love this app. My only complaint is that it shuts off when I text. I have Misophonia and I use this at work as a noise blocker. Whenever I have to reply to a text, it shuts off the sound and then I can hear all the stuff I don’t want to hear.

I use this app when my phone is plugged into the charger and my battery stays at the same level, regardless of how long it runs. The code must be off or the app is collecting a lot of data from my phone because the temperature of my phone is always hot after 15 minutes of running this app. I even paid for the full version and the results were the same. Save yourself the headache and download the white noise sound from iTunes

I’m not sure what the malfunction is but this skips SO BAD. It’s like using a scratched CD. It wakes me up at night from skipping. It’s not like it skips once of twice an hour it’ll skip 4-6 times at a time in a few second span and this happens probably 5 times an hour. It’s extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I even thought it was my WiFi and had the speed bumped up! Turns out it’s not the WiFi and it’s just the app. I know it’s not the WiFi because I took it off WiFi and let it run on just my cell network for a few days and I still have the same problem. For now I’ll be looking for a new app until they update and fix the problem.

The only downside to this app is that it won’t run in the background. I have to chose between drowning out the horrible dog barking next door and browsing my phone.

I need a white noise app for my newborn while we travel. This app is fine, but you can’t use it and browse on your phone.

I love the soft jungle sound but there is this one annoying bird on it that is so loud and I cannot stand it! That’s by far the only sounds I’ve truly enjoyed but once I get fixated on that bird, I get more anxiety and cannot sleep. I’d love to see other jungle sound mixes....

This app has always been great, but recently the sound (I use the air conditioner noise) has some type of glitch in it (it stops briefly and restarts). Every time it stops and starts, it wakes me up.

If you’re trying to block outside sounds while reading or sleeping, use Brown Noise rather than white noise. Brown noise uses lower frequencies to drown out lower sounds, which I always find more distracting.

This is a great app I get to listen to all my favorite sounds, but the not so good thing is that some of the sounds are horrible but most are good, over all I think it is a great app it is the best app I have ever had that has been White Noise!! Also it is very easy to get to your favorites and create one of your own which is great!! Love the app!!

A little more base, or a lower pitch, would be nice. Brown noise is my favorite, though.

Use this app to keep my baby asleep. Works great, unless I wanna look at Facebook while she’s sleeping and I’m not. Works with app open, works if you lock the phone while app is open, doesn’t work as soon as you go to the home screen or another app.

It is great for sleeping and it works fine there's no nothing wrong it's just a normal sleep and I would get it there's nothing wrong there's nothing weird it's just a normal one do not worry about it no paying for anything it's your lucky day

Our 8-week-old baby often needs white noise to fall asleep. Before discovering this app, we were running a 10-hour white noise video on YouTube. Our phone/tablet battery would be completely drained by the morning. This app is just as efficient at getting him to sleep, but better because you can lock your device to conserve some battery life (whereas a YouTube video would stop playing). Furthermore, you can set a timer to stop the sound automatically! Now we can wake up in the morning with over 80% battery still!

Whatever noise you prefer they’ve got to select from.

I turn on “do not disturb” at night, and use this app for White Noise with the clock setting. But frequently through the night, my subdued clock face is overtaken by a bright white pop-up that disturbs my sleep and prevents me from seeing the time. These pop-ups are usually from Apple, and they don’t go away until pressed. If anyone can advise, I would appreciate it! When this iPhone app works as planned, it’s great! But there’s got to be a way of stopping Apple notifications.....

White noise apps are mediocre, but I love this one. Sure it does have some odd sounds, I’ve never met someone who can fall asleep to “driving cars”, but there are so many options and you’re able to create your own noises.

Great app but if not plugged in at night, my nearly fully charged phone is completely exhausted and shuts off before morning. This app is confirmed by Settings as using a huge amount of battery. Makes me wonder if it’s doing anything else besides playing noise loops

I think that white noise is the best because I used to have scary dreams but now because of white noise I no longer have scary dreams. Somehow I think that white noise calms my mind. My favorite part of white noise is the make your own it is just so fun to make those recordings. I recommend white noise to all with scary dreams or love to explore apps or who love to record things.

I use this sleep app EVERY NIGHT! I have a loud barky dog next door. He barks constant. I try to pet him or give him attention, but the giant fence makes it difficult. I think he is just lonely. He does peek at us through the small hole in the wood. I did buy him a toy. It has a squeaky box in it... Not sure what I was thinking there. This app cancels out all that noise. I can finally sleep again.

It’s a new feature but it doesn’t work for me. Loving the fade out in the morning though! The only app I use daily.

I need a lot more sounds and stuff that is satisfying but the other side is I have a lot of favorites but I only really use airplane (the sound) P.s no hurtful stuff you guys are great 😋

This app does wonders in my head when I can't sleep. I am so glad this app is a thing. I have NEVER EVER slept better than when I have this on. I am pretty skittish when it comes to noises such as my house crackling and popping at night and this app just blocks them all out!

I've had this app since i was 7 and still own the original version on my iPod. I would suggest this to anyone that likes to fall asleep with background noise. They gives you tons of sounds to pick from and I love making my own combinations. Overall it's the best app to fall asleep to and I would definitely recommend using this app.

This app is great!! The only thing I don’t like is that the sounds stops when you close the app. Wonder if there’s a way to change that..

They don’t cheap out on the free version or clog the user experience with ads. It is easy to use with great variety of sounds. But there is a small thing that I never thought about until I started commuting from Seattle to NYC on the red eye. I can listen to the soothing sounds of rain for more than 5 hrs across and barely impact my battery. That’s great engineering. Apparently on my red eye this week the people in the row in front chatted half way across the country. I slept in happy oblivion thanks to my Bose noise cancelling headphones and this white noise app. I got to New York down only 5% battery. Amazing.

The “lite” version makes you leave the app open in order to listen. To have it playing in the background you need the full version. Just spend the $.99 cents.

This app is so amazing because I can play a fire sound and it takes me to a campground and it’s like am camping

I absolutely love this app but one issue- if I need to open another app like email or Facebook this app closes. I have other white noise apps that stay open and the sound stays on even when you open another app Otherwise this is exelcellent

I have tinnitus and this app helps alleviate the frustrating internal sounds that are maddening. I mostly use nature soundscapes because they have crickets and insects which mask my tinnitus the best. I might have gone insane without this app. I bought it for my android phone almost a decade ago and I wouldn’t have bought an iPhone if this app were not available for iOS. I hope people understand this app is a lifesaver!

Can't sleep without it

best white noise app I've ever had I didn't spend money on a white noise machine or pay for the app. It let me play my music and sounds that were so peaceful. Get this app immediately, it would be worth it.

One of the best aspects of this app is how many different sounds it has available. I've tried countless apps, trying to find one that has all my favorite sounds. None of them had them all, but wouldn't you know? This one did! Better yet, the sounds that don't come by default can almost definitely be downloaded through their sound market. It doesn't get better than that for a white noise machine.

As one who travels 100+ days a year this app is terrific to help get good rest.

After not being able to sleep in the same room with another person who was snoring, I decided to try this app. I had such a great sleep, and once when I woke up I actually thought it was raining. The white noise was the key!

Love the sounds. I mean love! But it kills my battery in less than a night when not plugged in, whereas my other music apps don't k*** my battery the same. If they make this more "efficient", I'll give it 5 stars!

I only use this app every so often, when I’m having trouble sleeping. But when I do I usually fall right to sleep to the sounds of a thunderstorm, great app.

The sounds are pretty good but if you touch almost any where on the edge of your screen accidentally it engages the s***** ads. Why do these developers continue putting their ads all over in hopes that you accidentally touch on a certain area? They need the 1/2 penny I guess they get for it.

Normally I keep a fan running;however, this is the perfect time of year for the windows open, no ac/fan. I personally like the brown noise because it helps me fall asleep. I also have twin nephews who are 3 who wake up to anything and the noise is definitely a sleep-saver. My newborn is also able to quickly fall and stay asleep with the brown noise 😍

I love the rain sounds. I play it for my baby sometimes when he’s grumpy and it puts him right to sleep. However, I don’t like the fact that it won’t play in the background of your phone...you have to have the app open. Unless I’m doing something wrong?

This app is great because I know the “white noise” that drops me into a meditative state, so I record it and the sound gets looped by the app. Right now I’m about to listen to the shower. I love this app because it has a bunch of varieties of sounds and my favorite is the Air Conditioner because it is just one constant sound. Nothing bad about this app at all is is GREAT and I gave it a 5 STAR RATING!

Love this app. I travel to the city and have a hard time sleeping with the sound of city nightlife. This has help me immensely.

I have this on both iPhone and iPad and use it instead of a machine. The best part is being able to set the end time in the morning so it stops prior to my alarm. The brown noise is my favorite for sleep but rainstorms are great for napping.

I love White Noise, helps me sleep better as a nine-year-old I go to bed at 7:30 but usually when I don’t have White Noise I don’t go to sleep until 9:30 but with White Noise I fell sleep at 7:45

We sleep every night with a fan at home, never thought a white noise app would do the trick, but it does. I’d love a little more variety, but it’s a fantastic free app.

I tried using this app, and it helped me fall asleep, but since the app has to stay open (and the phone unlocked) for the sounds to play, all my notifications were ringing through the noise and waking me up. There’s no point in using a sound app to help me sleep when it’s also going to let my notifications ring through and wake me up.

Love this app! I use it for my grandaughter when she naps, and for us too at night. Drowns a lot of the noises I would otherwise hear and would keep me awake.

I have always needed a box fan to sleep due to being such a light sleeper and hearing just about any and all noises in my environment. I became accustomed to sleeping with a box fan, but when traveling that wasn't ideal. When I found this app, I was able to adjust from my large box fan and use the app when traveling. Now I only use the app at home as well. Best app I have found so far for what I need!

I like it you don't have to pay it's just they have not as much sleep sounds as I thought my bedtime is 8:30 and I fell asleep at 10 o'clock it's very hard to fall asleep. But this helps me a lot or use other apps to but this is still good .

I use this in hotels to block out other guest noises. I also use it for therapy clients to block out outside noises or to set the mood for relaxation exercises. Lots of variety for a free app!

It would be nice to set all views to list. Sounds appear as list, Favorites as images. Same with Mixes. When I use this at night, the images, even when my brightness is turned down, are too bright. The fonts are unreadable on iPad mini, adjustments would be most welcome

I must’ve used a dozen or more sound machines over the years. The airplane sound in this app is the absolute best. Without this, I’m up all night. With this, I sleep like a baby.

I’ve gone through a lot of the white noise apps but this is the best. It has a lot of sounds and you can download via white noise market app to get even more. I love making new mixes -the quality of the clips are good.

Traveling from Arizona to Oregon and decide to crash at a Best Western after 13hrs in the car...we get stomping/screaming kids in the room next door. As it’s already 10pm, we aren’t in the mood to schlep our belongings down to the front desk and try another round of Rowdy Neighbor Roulette, so I crank the internal fan on the AC for some relief. It helped, but shrieking child sounds still priced the drone of the fan. Before I decide to smash down the walls and add to the cacophony of Lise, I grab my iPhone and look up “white noise” in the App Store and land on this app...download the free app, select roasts toasty fireplace sounds and shut my eyes. It is morning now. I slept the whole night through. I don’t even know what the paid version of this app does for me, but I just bought it. I bough it because I owe these developers more than just $0.99. THANK YOU FOR AN AWESOME APP AND NIGHT’S WORTH OF SLEEP.

I love this app! The "air conditioner" sound is my favorite. It's the perfect white noise for me to sleep soundly and not be woken up by roommates, outside traffic, etc. The only thing I'd change is the fact that it turns off if you open another app; I think the sound should keep playing unless it is paused manually. Overall, it's a great app!!!!!

This is a great app, because it allows you to set a timer for when it should stop. This is very convenient because I only need it to help me fall asleep. It also has a wide variety of sounds to choose from. And also you can make your own! I recommend this app because it is convenient for kids to use, and adults.

I used to be able to tap on my phone and then pause the sounds. Now I have to unlock the phone to pause. Is this feature going to be fixed for the lite version?

Convinced my ultra light sleeper hubs to try out this white noise app - five years of restless sleeping, and finally! we both slept soundly. What a fantastic gift for us. I especially appreciate this stays in all night. Some white noise machines only last 90 minutes.

This is the best travel app as it enables getting an amazingly restful sleep. And being fully rested is a great way to start each day when traveling whether it be for business or pleasure.

The application works great and it’s very nice to be able to record your own. However, you cannot use your phone if you want the app on. This is a terrible setting and renders your phone useless if you want to use it.

I love the sound of rain when I’m trying to sleep and “rain on car roof” sounds exactly like the rain falling on my roof! I listen to the same sound every single night because it is so soothing! I would recommend to anyone! I Just have to remember to set a timer so it’s not on all night because of a sleep app. I love how you can do that so I can fall asleep without any worries of turning it off. Would be great if there were more sounds like peepers or things like that 😉

It is a good app but it shuts off in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. Not every night, but recently it’s been happening more. I can’t rely on it. I’ve woken up to outside noise because of that.

This is a great app and has many different options of sounds to choose from but my one little dislike of the app is it will not keep running in the background if there is another application that you want to open to view. Sometimes I like having background noice when I read.

I have not been able to sleep well for a very long time, as a result of mental health issues, homework, and other stressors. It would take three melatonin pills, a heavy fan, and a humidifier in my room to get me to sleep more than 8 hours. Even after sleeping for 12 hours, more than three times my normal sleep time, I woke up feeling half dead. I consumed a lot of caffeine as a result, with 2-3 coffees a day and a red bull in the mornings. I needed help, and my doctor/neighbor/friend recommened this app. I had tried other white noise apps before, but none really worked. This was not the case for this app! Never had I used a white noise app with so many options. The volume and several other settings are adjustable, and the diversity and range for this app is astounding. My struggles were almost cured, I can sleep longer and less fitfully without drugs. I wake up feeling refreshed to some degree. The best part- it's free!!! 10/10, would recommend.

We have to have some noise in the background to sleep. The only thing I wish we could do is have the noise playing and still be on our phone. My kids fall asleep to the ocean sound but it would be nice to scroll through FB while I’m waiting.

I wanted to love this app! But my first night, at exactly 5am, my phone BLASTED brown noise and woke up everyone, even the dog jumped under the covers! Despite a previous review, I tried it and even tried so patiently in my panicked fatigued state, to “report the problem” but this was not easy to find at all and I had to give up. Didn’t fall back asleep until nearly 6 :( I love the apps potential!! Please fix! (Ps. I’m afraid to try it again for fear of waking up so suddenly)

As a result of this app I have in fact been getting so much sleep that I now age in reverse like Benjamin Button. I was initially concerned but my doctors gave me a few million so they could study me and now I’m cool with it.

No need for a white noise machine when you can download this app. I use an old iPhone to play white noise from the app for my daughter at nap time and bed time. It doesn’t matter if we are out running errands in the car or at home going to bed, when she hears the sound she is out. My husband and I use it in our room every night too. We love it.

Ok so i have tried everything to help me fall asleep. Apps, music, different breathing patterns, meditation, even yoga, and none of it has worked. Then 2 days ago i was looking at apps bc i was going to have a long flight the next day. I was actually looking up sleep yoga, and i found this. I was reading all the reviews and they were all fantastic so I decided to get it. The next day on the flight i could not fall asleep. I never can on airplanes, its just so weird. So after my show ended i plugged in my headphones and played around with it. I finally settled on the air conditioning and it rocks!!! These developers are magic!!!!!!! ❤️🤩

I have no suggestions for this app. I DO have a suggestion for you: get it!! This is an amazing sound app, and I LOVE how you can also make your own sounds!! Great app overall. Don't change anything--it's kind of like a tower of blocks: don't you dare touch it and tip it over.

I used this every morning because my apartment complex is currently loud under construction. This app is a LIFE SAVER. The only thing I would add to the add is being able to use other apps while it is still playing sounds in the background. I think that would be an awesome update and feature.

Works amazing

I love this app. I quite literally can’t sleep without it. I have been using it for many years; however, with version 7.4.4, I have begun to experience a sleep-interrupting problem, the volume unexpectedly (and on its own) suddenly increases to full. I sleep with head phones plugged in (so the brown noise doesn’t disturb my wife). I will be fully asleep and then suddenly the volume will go full blast, jolting me awake. The volume control stops responding. I turn it down, but it immediately returns to full blast. This happens until I close the app completely. I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 12.0.1. I use standard Apple headphones. Again, no problems for years. This probable started after I updated the app. Still love the app, though.

This app is better than the actual white noise machine. I love it. It has a whole lot of different sounds and it sounds very ligit. I use this for sleep every night and my 1yr old son also love it.

Helps get my newborn to drift off to sleep (and me too)

I love this app. It's the perfect amount of background noise when I'm trying to fall asleep. I didn't give it 5 stars, because there's no timer for how long you want it to go on. So when I fall asleep it's on for the next 6-8 hours. So I wish they would add a sleep timer like you have on a TV. Besides that, I love it!

I bought $300 noise-canceling headphones so I could listen to static. That sounds stupid, but my office is noisy, and it’s hard to concentrate. Listening to music just turned me into DJ ADHD because I was changing songs every 90 seconds. Now I just turn on this app and it sounds like I’m in a forest full of rivers or whatever, and I can actually get stuff done without interruptions. 5 stars for sure.

There’s nothing like falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on a beach! I love it!
