Always pretty on point and gives me great insight into what is really going on in DD’s little head.
TiredMomOf6's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/6/18 6:56 PM
All babies are different, and I should have known better than to buy an app that supposedly applies to all babies. The leaps might be skills that all babies learn, but there is no way of knowing WHEN your specific baby will develop those abilities, let alone when your baby will be fussy or go through a “stormy” period. It’s pretty absurd that the book and the app claim to give these predictive abilities to parents with a calendar. The “leaps” didn’t coincide at all with my baby. I followed the rules and went by my child’s due date, instead of birthdate, but still the calendar/chart was SO off base. My baby would have fussy growth spurts, and sleep regressions, during projected “happy” periods. And my child would master skills months sooner or later than was stated. This app is useless. I shouldn’t have wasted my money.
aroundthaglobe's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/5/18 5:49 PM
I’m surprised how many people had good luck with this app, but for my baby this app wasn’t accurate. He doesn’t seem to follow the schedule lol. For example, right now it’s a fussy period supposedly and has the little storm symbol over these particular days, and he is actually having a very sunny period, one of his better weeks! He has been a delight this week and waking up happy playing in his crib and has even let me go shopping a couple times without instantly complaining. Happy others liked the app though.
M3James's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/4/18 7:53 PM
I’ve used this app for all 3 of my children. It has always helped me knowing why they were extra fussy and what milestones they will be hitting soon.
Yese321's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/4/18 7:42 PM
This app was inaccurate and a waste of time and money. All it does is stress you out about an upcoming leep and then it doesn’t even happen because the app is wrong! I tried going off both the due date and his actual birth date. Neither were even close to being accurate.
NansMom's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/4/18 5:01 PM
Timing has been really spot on and it really helps save my sanity knowing why my little one has become so cranky and when to expect it! It’s been great to know what changes are happening in her development and what I can do to help guide her!
postmatessucks2018's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/30/18 10:35 PM
Helpful with my now toddler who is 4 now. And new baby who is 6 weeks. I forgot everything in 4 years so this made me feel less crazy remembering that there are so many stages that affect baby behavior
Collibeth's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/3/18 1:34 PM
Good info, but I could have gotten it for free at the library in the book. I was under the impression I could tailor this to my baby (born 3 weeks before due date and did leap 1 1.5 weeks before app), but I can’t put in that info. So I have to extrapolate myself, which I can do with the book. Videos not working right now either.
Boo to spam's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/3/18 12:08 PM
I may not reference the app regularly, but if the little one has been a crankster for a few days, I’ll take a look and more often than not, it’s a leap. The descriptions of what the kiddos are learning and experiencing is typically spot on. Great app for first time and veteran parents alike!
Jag509's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/29/18 12:18 AM
This app is very helpful when you’re trying to figure out what’s wrong with your kid. And it’s cool to learn what they’re going through developmentally.
Ceelovie's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/28/18 1:34 AM
Every leap has been on point for my baby. It’s helpful and encouraging as a new Mom.
J-Bird415's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/26/18 5:46 AM
Love the reminder that when my baby is fussy, she is probably doing so much growing that I’m not even really aware of. We used this app with our first and I’m so excited to be using it with our second.
JDMAM818's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/26/18 12:23 PM
Purchased this app on a friend’s recommendation only to find it stresses the due date and conception as the key dates for tracking development. I don’t have access to this info as an adoptive patent of an infant, so don’t feel like this app is helpful to me.
KS8181's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/25/18 2:41 AM
This app is a lifesaver! As far as I can tell it is spot on with when he will go through leaps and what to expect!
Amy Brannock's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/23/18 12:18 AM
Unfortunately, this was a waste of money. The information is useless and does not align with my child at all.
EndymionNomad's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/22/18 3:12 AM
I mean, I could’ve gotten all this app has to offer in an e-book. Really don’t see what the fuss is about. A LOT more apps out there have daily value. Pretty disappointed.
Sunshine1111's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/21/18 8:06 PM
If you don’t yet have the Wonder Weeks app, I cannot recommend it enough. I used it for our 21mo, and it was so nice to know ahead of time when I could expect her to be fussy, grumpy, or clingy. I’m only 25 weeks, but I’ve already programmed baby’s due date (WW works off of due date, not birth date, which the app explains why), and the app has programmed baby’s leaps into my calendar. Normally I cringe at the thought of spending money on an app, but this did prove to be valuable enough, and worth the small expense. App works great, communicates with iPhone calendar, and even has instructional videos that are so helpful.
Ranman21's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/18/18 3:39 AM
So the app specifically states to use due date because that is when baby will leap, and not when they were actually born in the case of preemies. This is wrong by my own observation with my preemie. It says she won’t have first leap for a little bit yet (she is 9 weeks tomorrow and came exactly 5 weeks early) but she has already gone through second leap. She plays with her hands by wringing them together. She waves her arms intentionally. She is making noises like “ah” and others. She is leaping at her age not her gestational age.
lauren janko's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 9/16/18 1:55 AM
I absolutely love this app. It will tell you what your baby may be going through and different periods of time. It’s very cool to read it and then watch as your baby develops. Recommend to all mamas!

DeDe812's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/7/18 7:40 AM
Absolutely love this app! It has helped me so much with not one but both of my babies. One is 18 months old and my other is 1.5 months old.. highly recommend this app to everybody who has babies or toddlers!!!
FlyingAnnie's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/7/18 6:57 PM
Worst $2.99 I’ve spent. It only gives you about 5 sentences on why your baby will cry in the next 3-5 weeks and how to soothe them. That’s about it. Not user friendly and you can’t read future leaps. Our baby seems one leap ahead of what the app says but we can’t view the next one in advance. We adopted our baby and mom didn’t receive prenatal care so we don’t know when due date actually was. So it’s a pretty useless app for us. Not sure why so many people love this app so much.
Rkcmommy's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/7/18 1:11 PM
I was hesitant to purchase this app at first, but finally did after several friends swore by it. So far it has been spot on with my son and his fussy periods. It helps keep you sane as a parent because you know when to expect a fussier/clingier baby & it offers helpful suggestions and insight. With my first, I always thought it was something I was doing wrong. Now I know that these are leaps that all babies go through! Love this app!
Rolls20's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/6/18 12:17 PM

Daverunner1002's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/5/18 11:21 PM
I don’t know whether the other reviewers have been paid, but I don’t know how else a higher rating than horrible could be attained. I’m short, this app is a complete waste of your time.

Setsailrachel's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/28/19 12:23 PM
There has never been an app more accurate. If your a new mom, a curious mom, or a mom who is finding herself challenged by changing behaviors, this is the app for you. My daughter has been so clingy and fussy lately. Sure enough, she’s going through a “leap.” Do yourself a favorite and download it. This app makes me feel sane on the days when I’m sure I am going insane.

This app has kept me sane in the early days of babyhood! I daily used this app up until 7ish months and it was spot on with my baby’s milestones/fussy stages. Now that she is older I will check the app when she is more fussy than normal & she’ll be entering a leap! Love love love this app because it gives me confidence that I’m not “crazy” lol
Kthom1056789's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/28/19 12:23 PM
My child was never fussy when it told me she would be and always seemed. To be happy when it said she would be in a stormy period. It was quite confusing. Maybe the doctors got her due date off? Or may she just leap at different periods?

A friend just recommended this app after hearing my worries as to why my 8 week old isn’t sleeping all of the sudden. The chart is so accurate it’s eerie! They say there’s not a manual for babies, but this is pretty d*** close! Very impressed! Helps understand what your little one is going through.
Kerry333333's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/22/18 2:04 AM
I love this app, not just for all of the information about my baby’s development but also, I can predict when he will be crabby, frustrated, or his sleep schedule will change because the leap calendar is pretty spot on. It also gives really great ideas for how to encourage developing skills in the leap.
thelifeofsyn's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/21/18 7:28 AM
Love the content and simplicity of this app! The information about leaps is so vital when you have a baby who is very easily frustrated at the beginning of each leap. I can almost count it down to the day.
MJRnVnE's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/2/18 2:58 PM
I’ve now used this app with two of my children...I wish I had known about it for the first two! Because of this app, I was aware of WHY my babies were crying, fussy, restless through the night, and needing more attention! It took so much guesswork out of a time that can be very frustrating! This is a MUST HAVE APP for any parent, new or seasoned!!
Junebug9284738910's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/19/18 1:27 PM
Using it for my second after it helped with my first. It really was like clockwork and you can track the new advancements with each leap.
JediJenn90's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/18/18 12:39 AM
This app was a life-saver during the first 1.5 year of my baby’s life! When she was fussy for apparently no reason, we had something to turn to. It’s so hard seeing your baby be cranky! But not knowing what’s going on or how you can help makes it so much worse! This app will let you know when your child will be going through mental leaps based on their age. Leaps in development can also mean fussier periods. It’s also super fun to look out for and notice the changes that the app says should be happening! This app was spot on for my kid and I’m so glad I had it!
AshlynnsMommy's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/15/18 4:01 AM
I was suggested this app from a lovely mom friend I have who swore by it and i can’t even tell you how accurate it is and how relieving it is to be wondering about what’s going on with my child and see that’s it’s normal! Very much so worth the money to get this and wish I had/knew about it with my first!
Beautiful Design's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/13/18 6:49 PM
The Wonder Weeks app is so easy to use, gives reassurance during Baby’s fussy phases and it’s fun to see what Baby is learning right now. If you haven’t read the book, it’s a fun read, but this is easier for new parents for sure!
LeezerRN's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/11/18 12:52 PM
New parents! You need this app. It’s worth the $3. Reading up on why your kiddo gets irritable or fussy helps you understand what’s going on in their brains, therefore making these stages less exhausting and frustrating! Well set up with bullet points, videos etc that all help make this info easy to digest when sleep deprived and busy with a little one. Love the alerts that connect to your phone so you know when they’re about to enter a new leap!
mommakc16's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 8/1/18 6:07 PM
As a first time mom there were so many times my baby was having a rough week and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong when suddenly I remembered this app and decided to check if we were in a leap. Each time I would find that we were, in fact, just entering one or right smack in the middle of a stormy week. Having that knowledge gave me the reassurance I need to know that I wasn’t doing anything wrong but also let me know that there was more I could be doing to help my baby through the current leap! It has made each leap so much easier for both of us! I also love that you can add more than one baby and I look forward to using it for any future children I have!
QueenELC's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/8/18 8:58 PM
You can google this information. I don’t know why it’s called wonder WEEKS when there is not week to week information like other apps provide. Some of the videos they provide do not even work. If you’re paying for an app it should have more information about how your baby is transitioning week to week.
IsThereANameThatsNotTaken's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/7/18 1:55 PM
This is one of the most accurate things ever. Always spot on with my kiddo. He is a year old now and I’ve used it since he was born. I would def recommend this application. Don’t be cheap and ask people in the wonder weeks group what leap your kid is in. It’s like $3, buy it! You won’t regret it. :)
Hand Hugs's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/6/18 12:32 PM
Installed the app for my preemie baby. First thing it says is that he can’t reach out his arms or turn, which is totally incorrect. Shouldn’t I be able to put in where he is in terms of development? I’m the one watching him all day.

I gave in and bought this when my second born was having a few days of being miserable hoping it would shed some light. He wasn’t even in “a leap” and now that he’s happy and sleeping great he’s supposed to be well into leap 4. Total hogwash imho. I will be deleting the app.
Birdmanjfc's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/29/18 4:15 PM
This app was great (5 stars), but what used to be concrete suggestions for games to play during leaps like blocks that can be knocked down and peekaboo. Now it suggests that you pay attention to your baby and compliment them. That’s much less helpful (2 stars).
ShannanES's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/29/18 11:25 AM
This app gives me so much insight into what my little one is experiencing down to the T! I read through information about each leap with a smile because each time it is spot on. I love the suggestions of activities and games to help support her development and the heads up about new mental and emotional leaps that may come with more fussiness or clinginess. It’s a great tool for new moms looking for in depth information and some direction for helping their little ones grow into creative and well adjusted people!

RHeidelman's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/2/18 2:49 AM
Our daughter is 5 months old and so far every time she has been fussier than normal or just not acting herself I’ll open up this app and find out she is in a “storm” period. Learning about all the different leaps is so interesting. Let’s be honest, a crying baby is hard- especially when they are inconsolable- but knowing she is in a “storm” period helps keep everything in perspective that this is just a season and will pass soon. Highly recommend this app!
ksat2018's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/19/18 4:55 PM
The stormy and sunny periods have never lined up for my son. The app notes it could be a few days earlier or later but that’s not helpful since sunny and stormy periods change so frequently. I also don’t like that there is only one update during the entire leap period. This app seems pretty limited for costing anything.
LC ET's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/18/18 10:13 PM
It won’t let you edit the due date. Our baby was 2 weeks early according to an adjusted ultrasound due date but not according to actual conception. I’d love to be able to adjust to see when the leap weeks happen based on my real due date since that’s actually what our daughter seems to be following from a development perspective.
covichka's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/14/18 4:22 PM

I wish I had bothered to read a bit about Wonder Weeks theory before downloading. It’s based on the pseudoscience of Plooij’s book of the same name, which has been scientifically debunked. Like a horoscope, the descriptions of leaps are so vague that the user can read it, pick out a sentence that slightly applies, and say “oh yes, that sounds like my baby!” There’s no useful cognitive development information to be learned in this app. Save your money.
TravelB80's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 7/10/18 11:02 AM
I purchased this app after a recommendation from a friend. My son was premature and I was told this would help me gain insight on his age-adjusted milestones. I have tried to keep up with reading the content, but I’m finding it irrelevant in the daily caring of my child. I’ve found so many other useful resources (all free by the way). Wish I didn’t waste my $ on this.

I would recommend this app and book for every parent. I especially appreciate the notifications about when a “leap” is approaching.
Kait Myers's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/6/18 1:37 PM
Love this app! It has helped us to know what to expect for our baby. Parenting is exhausting enough, but when your baby is fussy and you don't know why it can be very stressful. Especially if nursing, you start to think you are doing something wrong! This app shows you why they are fussy and even gives you ways to help them through those fussy times. It's like an angel sent from God! 😂🙌🏻

LadyButterflyNebula's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/5/18 4:41 AM
This App is like the summary of a cliff notes version of the book. Just save your money and buy the audio book app instead. This app tells you vaguely what to expect and what is changing but does not tell you HOW to help your child/ what to do during a leap. I ended buying the audio book which is much more helpful.
User:Alex's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/5/18 3:01 AM
I’ve learned so many things from this app!! Like a leap is not a bad thing - it’s your baby going through developmental growth. I use this app to make myself feel better when I can’t figure out what’s wrong. I also use to remind myself that my daughter needs love and comfort, not being left to self soothe as she deals with this scary new world!

I love being able to understand what phase my little one is going through! I didn’t have this with my older child. I feel like it makes me more patient and I’m able to help him through it!

We used this app with our first baby and it was super accurate. We were lost when he aged out! We’re now using it with our second baby. So helpful to know what to expect and what’s going on!

Someone told me about this app and I was a little skeptical about it, but the leaps and the fussiness are all on point according to this app! I always know when to expect my little one to go through a spurt of fussiness. It helps me help her adjust and master the skills needed to become the happiest little baby! Thank you!!!
Pharm-FPGEE's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/28/18 5:04 AM
If this app had a free trial I wouldn’t have bought it. I bought it in a moment of frustration because I can’t understand why my baby is so fussy. The language is not easy in this app. They use technical terms which they didn’t provide explanation for. The app is poorly organized and difficult to navigate through. My baby has been fussy for a few days and the app says he’s starting his leap in two days! The app deals with babies as if they are all the same, have the same development rate and achieve milestones on a specific day which is completely untrue.
Brittany JBG's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/27/18 7:59 PM
I’m too tired and busy to remember what side I last fed on or even WHEN I last fed or how long my baby has been awake. I use this as my “brain” to store that info so I can focus on other things!

Love it!! Using it for child 2 right now. So calming and gives me piece of mind. Fun to see them developing in track.
Ac2366's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/24/18 7:46 AM
Very informative. It would be better if there was a way to mark when a leap starts early. My son has consistently started his leaps 3-4 days early and there’s no way to force the app ahead unless I adjust his due date in the settings.

deeeeenster's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/21/18 10:31 PM
Not much information. Wish I would have saved my money... the baby center app is way better. I was literally done reading about a leap in a couple minutes and ran out of stuff to look at. Very minimal information. Save your money and look at internet for more info on leaps or free apps like baby center.
CZD11's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/2/18 6:02 PM
This app is spot on. I would notice my kids getting a little cranky and clingy and go to the app and sure enough, they’d be in a leap.
SeahorseJulia's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/19/18 8:46 PM
This is the most accurate thing ever. Helps me understand my baby more, get excited about her developing skills, and give me the perspective to understand the difficult times.
Klahhhh's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 6/18/18 11:54 AM
The app is nice for explanations of milestones, but I specifically purchased the app because the description indicated the book was available to be read in-app. The first chapter or so is free, but then you have to pay to read the rest of the book. Very misleading and upon contacting the support personnel for the app, they could not care less. Annoyed.

I love having the wonder weeks app available on my phone so that when my baby starts having trouble sleeping or acting fussy, I can check to see if it’s possibly a leap. It’s a good way to keep up with how baby is developing and what to expect.

This app will assure you when baby goes into thru developmental leaps!! It has ways to help comfort baby, how to help during the leaps, what ever leap consist of and days baby will be happy/fussy. If you are a first time mom, shoot, maybe even a mom in general, this app is a must have!!
UlmersGirl's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 5/8/18 12:40 AM

sr9117's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 5/5/18 6:35 PM
I don’t think my kid has his leaps according to due date at all, but it’s dead on for his birth date. Great to know what he’s working on and when and why he’s grumpy!! It would get 5 stars if I (and several friends) found it accurate to their insistence of due date. I just created a second profile for him with his birth date and that’s how I discovered his schedule is more accurate with birth date. So if you feel like it’s off a bit, try that!

This app is amazing! All the bits and pieces of information I really care to know about. And you don’t have to pay a dollar or get promoted to pay for sections of the book. So much cheaper to just borrow the book from the library and then to put it back into rotation. Anyway, this app is great. I highly recommend it!

I recommend this app to everyone I know who has children or is expecting! You have no clue how informative & accurate this is until you try it! I love getting a glimpse into my little girls mind as she develops! The fussy leap periods are so on track with her it’s scary! Definitely live by this!

Pinpoints and helps you understand what your baby may be feeling and why. Great for first time parents
LizardBref's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 5/29/18 2:32 PM
This app has been very helpful. I recommend the book too! I will read each chapter as the leap nears. Feeling educated about what to expect has helped me maintain my cool. These fussy phases can be challenging but knowing it will come and go helps you relate and empathize with your child, and yourself. It also helps you recognize their new skills. At the end you feel a sense of accomplishment and it truly is bewildering to watch your baby master their skills. Keep in mind it is a guide, not a concrete timeline. My child has gone through a leap early by a few days here or there. Happy reading!
Pam1055's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 5/29/18 1:49 PM
Believe me you will use this app and be so glad you have it. When your child is fussy you can see her chart and say oh she’s in a stormy period until whatever date her stormy time goes to on her calendar. You’ll also see what you should expect your child to be doing at different levels of development. And please know that your child is able to learn things about her world from day one. No they won’t be able to do a lot of things until their bodies are able, but in there mines they can. All they need is your time to teach them. And they will only do what you expect them to do. If you don’t think your little one can know the difference between a few stuffed animals way before they are a year old, let me tell you that you are so wrong! They can get the one you asked them for at 6-9 months old. Yes I did say 6-9 MONTHS. Try it and see. They can start way before you may have thought. So expect them to learn as much as you can teach them and they will. They do have to wait to show you what they know on some things because of their body, it has to catch-up to their brain and they have to get control over their arms legs and all the rest to show you what they have known for months. Keep teaching and you’ll have one smart little child and they will be amazing.

I know I should be reading the book from cover to cover. And I did purchase it and the digital version, but since giving birth finding time is rare. So I am so thankful that they thought to create this app which gives me a quick rundown. I can check back and read it quickly anytime to refresh myself on what Leap my Baby is going through and help us better understand some of the things she might be dealing with.

I used to love this app with my first child. It was easy to navigate, gave me notifications on my calendar, and had lots of great information. This time around I’ve been super disappointed. Same great information but the app has so many technical problems. It freezes all the time and won’t open to the calendar that I want to check. It’s like flipping a coin whether or not I can even open the app. Purchase with caution.
Tyronique's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 5/23/18 1:11 AM
I love this app! I like that it goes into detail about each developmental stage (leap) and tells you what to expect. I also love that you can view expected moods on a chart. I downloaded this app kind of late (6 months) so the only thing I don’t like is I can’t go back and view the previous leaps.
kjcatlin's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 5/18/18 4:59 PM
This app is SO great! Very informative for a first time mom who often feels clueless. It explains when a “leap” occurs and what to expect in depth. These babies are constantly going through changes to their cognitive development and it’s so reassuring that their difficult behavior is just a temporary phase as they are adjusting to the real world. I recommend this to all my mommy friends, especially first time mommies!

I love the book, but it can be difficult to grab hold of it when the little one falls asleep in your arms, while reaching the phone in your pocket is so much easier. It was incredibly helpful to learn about my child’s development and it was even more delightful to watch her grow after I had this knowledge. This app also helped me expose her to appropriate play and learning opportunities. Can’t recommend enough.

This App and book changed our lives. We thought something was wrong when our son was going through a leap. I found the app about 3 months into his development. After the app I knew we were just going through the growing stages of life. Now with our second child, our daughter, it is amazing to be able to remember back the different leaps and compare. Before the app, we felt like WE were bad parents. It was a game changer. Like a light switch. You literally were able to take the pressure off of yourself and give yourself a break. And the book is even better. Highly recommend!!

It has been so helpful knowing when my baby is going through a leap, the new skills she is learning, and how I can best support and encourage her. Having a chart showing anticipated leap dates has helped me plan some quieter times during her “stormy” days. It also helps me keep in perspective that her fussing has a purpose and it will pass. Thanks for helping me parent a little better, Wonder Weeks!

Bought this after a sleepless night with my 4.3 week baby. It was right on target of the leap she is going through. She was born premature and I found that it did match her birth date rather than using her due date because she was advanced and on target for most things. I definitely recommend this app for new parents.

I teach teachers. I feel as if I should know these things. Maybe I did hear these ideas in theory years ago. I find this a helpful reminder. Worth the investment and something my husband (not an early childhood preschool specialist) and I can read in tandem to learn about our child together. I wish it discussed each leap’s impact on sleep routines a tad bit more. Or how my consistency in maintaining routines, or maybe my lack there of, impacts my child.

I could not be more grateful for this app! It has helped me keep focused and more understanding when my little girl would go through a leap. "Mim"'s Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/8/18 3:03 PM
As a new and jubilant grandma, this takes all the guess work out of raising this little 8-month-old! At least so far the baby has exactly paralleled what the book said was occurring. It has taken the mystery out of why a child seems to back step a formerly achieved behavior. I expect it, understand it, and know it will change. And now that I understand what enormous changes the baby is going through, I don’t feel guilty indulging in extra pampering... just as I would with a sick child. Thank you and I have recommended your book and site to all parents I know!!

I heard great things about this app so I gave it a try. Literally makes no sense! The definitions are so vague yet so far behind on development. This app is so important. Not only because it allows you to be in tune with what your child is going through but also because it validates how you feel as a mom. I love this app! I can tell when my baby is going to be fussy and plan for mellow days in her cloudy days. I also like The app because it tells me how I can help my baby grow neurologically and what to expect when she’s in the leap.
Kktravers's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/3/18 4:28 PM
This is always 100% on point! I love how I get a heads up before a leap so I can better adjust for her, give her the little things to help with the leap she is going through. We’re on our 3rd leap and I can truly see her shining through this one. Smooth transitions, so we’re feeling different textures and objects and making different sounds! I love this! A must have for any parent!!
Ridget's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/3/18 4:04 PM
I really enjoyed the book along with the app. They both helped me understand what my daughter was learning and how some days she is going to be frustrated or tired and it has no reflection on me as a new parent.

I wish I hadn’t wasted the money for this app. Its been completely wrong every “leap” of the way.
Elmunny's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/28/18 2:23 PM
Excellent tool for understanding what’s happening with your baby’s development. Also it’s nice to know when to attribute sleep problems to developmental leaps vs other issues.
MasterM+'s Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/28/18 12:30 AM
I highly recommend this app. I waited to buy it based on a few negative reviews, and finally bought it after a number of word-of-mouth recommendations. I wish I had it sooner. It has great advice for each stage babies go through. The “fussy phases” timelines are also a huge help. This app is a must have to better understand the cognitive development of your child day-by-day and week-by-week.

Everyone raves about the app, but upon checking it out and going to download it I wish I would have known it only goes up to 20 months. Total waste of $3. Sure, the 14 page long description says it in one small section... but I didn’t plan on reading the app description prior to downloading said “amazing app”. Please consider putting this in the MAIN description/title to avoid making more parents pay $3 to find out they now have a useless app.

I recommend the WW app to everyone. Helped me understand my first baby and now my second. Once we understand what they are experiencing, it’s easier to empathize with them and comfort them. A must have for parents!

This app helps me to give myself a little grace in this whole mom-ing thing! Sometimes, during a particularly rough time in my baby’s development I feel like I’m spinning my wheels trying to figure out what more I can do to make things easier. Then I check my wonder weeks app and see that we’re in the middle of a leap, and I just feel a sense of release. It’s nothing I’m doing wrong, it’s just a leap, and totally normal. As moms we are so h****** ourselves, and this app has helped me give myself a little break!

Great suggestions for how to help your baby through mental growing pains. Also what the heck do you DO with a tiny baby. Gives great activity suggestions for all ages but found the ones for a year and under most helpful because those are not the most obvious.
HealthyMamaLA's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/16/18 2:13 PM
This app if great. I first purchased the book and ready parts of it. The book has more information, but most of it is parents’ experiences. While those are important, I feel that the most value giving by The Wonder Weeks is that provided by the chart. Those small little clouds can help you keep you sanity. Knowing that a leap is approaching or that you’re in the middle of one, helps you stay calm as a mother as it justifies the madness. The app provides the timing for the leap: by week and by dates. Also, the new feature adds it to your calendar which is GREAT! There is some information as of what to expect behavior wise. A bit more info about what each leap means for them and what to expect them to do. I recommend this app to all my mommy friends. It’s a great tool for a mom with one or 5 kids. I would have liked to see also an indication of growth spurts in the chart. Also, the chart ends at around 2 years I believe. While it is very beneficial to until that point, the kids still have major developmental leaps after (as I have witnessed with my own child). So, it would be great to add any information for after that. That just stays there and does nothing after... seems very close ended. Overall: it is great for when you need it, and you will need it for your own peace of mind when you don’t know why they keep crying and nursing.
Addie Pope's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/14/18 8:06 PM
My son was born 4 weeks early so most development guide lines are a little off from his reality. Because wonder weeks uses the due date, all of the leaps have come right on schedule! I love having some insight to what he’s going through and how he perceives the world. It’s also reassuring to have an explanation of why he goes through fussy phases.
Angler fish's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/12/18 4:39 AM
It was very helpful to hear about all the changes my child was going through to help understand how to be helpful, but almost more so was the charting of the “stormy” periods and “sunny” periods where you could expect to see mood changes in your child. That helped me understand the fussy times much more and not become overly worried when they arrived.

I wanted to buy the book, but I know me and with two kids now, I won’t do read it. So, this app is great and I can take it with me where ever I go! I didn’t know about this with my first born so I’m really glad I have it with my second. This is totally worth the $2, y’all!
JulieandNoah's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/10/18 3:36 AM
I’m writing this as a first-time parent. I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, and above all completely terrified I’m going to do the wrong thing and miss critical opportunities to facilitate my son’s development. This app provides timely and useful information that is imparted in manageable and easy to understand chunks. As much as I would love to be able to read all the well-researched books I can find, I don’t have the time. This app gives me information that I would find in those books as it applies to my son in relation to his stage of development and what I can do to support him. I use it almost daily and I can’t imagine parenting without it.
SilviaBuck's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 3/10/18 3:24 PM

I’m loving this app..it is fascinating to learn about what my baby is learning and how he is developing, along with the signs to look for that demonstrate his new skills and knowledge. It’s great to see the “stormy” and “sunny” days ahead and be able to plan accordingly.

This is not an “app” it’s a bunch of ripetitive words in every section. You can find all those infos (and more) just googling.
DESea23's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 2/12/18 7:26 PM
I was really excited about this app but once I got it I quickly realized it’s pretty useless. A day by day app would be nice but it goes by leap periods. So basically it has told me nothing helpful so far other than she’ll experience a leap soon. Google is free and offers far more insight than this app.

Bguggles's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/5/18 12:40 PM
Dates didn’t match to fussy times at all and nobody has ever been able to scientifically replicate the fussy stages at the same times. The app also doesn’t let you rate it anything but 5 stars. The fact that I had to go through the App Store to leave an honest review lost them another star. The only semi reliable information is understanding what your child may be learning next and I did enjoy that part.
Seriously❓'s Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/3/18 1:01 PM
My daughter has hit every fussy stage almost to the day. It makes me feel so much better since she’s my first that I don’t have to rush her to the doctors every time she’s cranky because the app explains that it’s her cognitive leaps or learning separation anxiety or just moodiness so it’s such a weight off and I can see when it ends too! It gives me a light at the end of the tunnel. This app has been absolutely wonderful. I’m just sad I didn’t have it from the day I brought her home!
tinky865's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/3/18 1:01 PM

Kamdzi's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/25/17 11:28 AM
So the leaps and descriptions are more or less accurate but as far as the app... well it stinks. The content is hard to read because it doesn’t flow. Most paragraphs start with the same 3 sentences (especially the 3rd leap), many spelling errors, and hard to navigate. I️ would call it amateur. I️ would expect this in a free app but not one you pay this much for.
Reighnicorn's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/23/17 4:30 PM
I love this app, it’s so accurate and helps me help my son and all my daycare kids through their leaps. It was great until the last update, which now constantly crashes and freezes and then when it finally does open it freezes and crashes. The worst. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if the new layout wasn’t so much more clunky and busy looking.
StephLKO's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/20/17 4:21 AM
Love the content, but quit changing the design. Tired parents don’t want to have to re-figure out how to use an app every time they open it and don’t need useless color palette changes. I hate the new design.

I have followed the Wonder Weeks (book and app) for both of my kiddos. It has been really helpful in letting me know what skills they are working on and activities/games to help engage them. The leap alarm has also been a handy feature. The Wonder Weeks give awesome insight about baby brain development, skill acquisition, and the not so fun behavior that accompanies each. I would recommend purchasing the book, as it has a lot of extra information that the app does not.

It definitely helps me feel like a better mama!
natalielui's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/18/17 2:29 PM
For a paid app, I expected it to offer more than just information I could have easily found on the Internet for free. What a waste of $. What's more frustrating is that the latest update has caused the app the freeze on the main screen. Now I can't even access anything!! Don't waste your time & money. You'll find just more useful stuff online. Edit 12/18/17 - The latest version still has trouble loading. It got stuck on the first screen and tried to load for over a minute before freezing, causing me to have to force restart my phone. What a joke!

Ontheflyshutter's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/14/17 1:04 AM
As first-time parents, we really appreciated the great insights this app had as we navigated the first few months of our baby. Moreover, it gave us plenty of peace of mind knowing that all of this has bona fide research to back it up. This is very important given all of the unscientific research, articles and books that “advise” you to do things that will have lasting negative consequences on your kid.
Alizajs's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 12/13/18 12:12 PM
You can find the information this app gives you on free ones just the same. The “fussy periods” are estimated and in general, off. I just wouldn’t waste the money. Not worth it for what you get. There’s also nowhere to chart things. Definitely needs improvement. I hate that I bought it because now I don’t want to delete it from my phone...

I love that the app let’s you know about various stages of development from a scientific viewpoint. It alerts you to times when your child will experience ‘sensitivity’ to the changes around them due to brain development that potentially will cause fussiness.
kamalina (;*'s Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/9/18 1:12 PM
This app is very vague and so simple yet complicated. It doesn’t explain how to use it, let alone how to read the calendar. And I’m able to understand in depth you have to purchase the book. Personally I would say it wasn’t worth the $2.99 to download.

rvnpuffjmprn's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/29/18 12:36 PM
App was disappointing for me as my little one doesn’t follow this leap pattern. I put in his due date not birthdate as instructed. He is 6 1/2 weeks old and per the description of leaps has already completed the first three leaps, which the third leap states is at 11 1/2 - 12 1/2 weeks. This app was a waste of $ for me. Babies are all unique and develop differently so don’t treat this app has the true and final say of how your baby should be progressing. Wish it was accurate would’ve been nice to predict his “fussy” periods.
vanyainr's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/27/18 12:39 PM

Sagitta1211's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/23/18 12:35 PM
On my third child, I hoped to be able to see more fussy periods before they came but this app didn’t help with that. My baby wasn’t a preemie and after six months, I never seemed to have any good information from this app that helped me with my baby. A few tips for playing games at age appropriate stages was helpful so I gave a star for that. The app works, for the exception of not getting the notifications despite settings. Too bad. I wanted it to be helpful.

This app wonder years recommend to all moms first or second child .... it helps you understand child gives you heads up for every phase/ leap so you won’t go insane when baby is fussy screaming and inconsolable at certain times. I found it around 4 months and wish I know about it from birth. ! The apps is better than any class for birth and baby classes could ever teach you !!! I have to say, I rarely will spend anything for an app and this one was referred to me by a child specialist. So I purchased it after I had my last daughter. It was so accurate with mood changes, etc. it was unbelievable!! I also bought the book but I have to admit I haven’t read it yet. Now we had a boy and it is truly amazing, we were just saying how our son is looking at us differently, today was his first real smile and then I open the app and sure enough, he’s in his first leap!! He was premature so I do go by his due date, and I couldn’t be more pleased!! Thank you!!
Connorsauras's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/16/18 7:38 PM
This app is pretty spot on with milestones and leaps. I wish the count down to the next leap provided more information. i.e #of days until the next, # of days since the beginning, and the # of days left in current. Currently there is only one count.
LilMonkeyXs2's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/16/18 2:06 PM
The book is great but the app is even better. The calendar chart is very helpful. I was amazed, the first time around, at how spot on the fussy phases are and it’s the same with the second baby now. A little less stress when you know when the storm is coming in.
LaurKess's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 11/16/18 2:06 PM
I love this app because it helps explain what’s going on with my baby week by week, the good and the bad. It makes me more relaxed realizing that most of his behavior is typical of a baby at his age. Purchased this app desperate to see why my baby is so fussy. I’ve been using it for seven months now and Haven’t read anything that would help me. It says the same things through each leap basically in different wording. According to this app, your baby is always in a “stormy” period. It really doesn’t explain to you how your baby is changing or the skills they’re mastering clearly. I regret paying for this app.

Bethb525's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 10/27/18 11:16 AM
Eh, I’m sure this app is great for parents whose babies were born on or around their due date, but my daughter was born 7 weeks early. The app says to still use her due date to calculate the leaps, but she is far beyond leap one (which she should technically be in now), but I don’t feel that she is quite to leap 4 yet either (which is where she should be based on her birth date). Due to this, this app isn’t very helpful to me.

When I first had my daughter everyone raved about this app so I gave in and got it. I followed the directions and went off babies due date and not birthday. Well so far every single leap has been off. We have been through 3 leaps so far and every time she has had them at the time that would line up with her birthdate and NOT her due date. The more I have spoken with other moms of early babies they have told me their little ones didn’t match up either. I still keep the app to see what the next leap includes but I take the predictions on cloudy and sunny days with a huge grain of salt.

My son was born premature and this app has been so helpful and exactly spot on with his dev based upon his due date versus his birth date.

It is amazing how accurate this is. This is my second kid and was a little skeptical because I didn’t notice these things before. Now I know what to look for and it is spot on! I am much more prepared.

I love how it is synced with my phone's calendar so I know when will the next leap should be starting. It is pretty accurate. They are clear that it's not 100% exact. You give or take one week. Very informational and reassuring as to how my baby is to developing and what I can do to guide my baby through her leaps. Love it!

The Wonder Weeks is great and I was loving that the app is more accessible than the book. However, the app keeps crashing and often it won’t open at all. Disappointed since the redesign

I like how when my child is extra fussy I check the app, and he’s definitely going through a leap. As he grew I could tell when he was going though one but this app has helped me know the differences!

The wonder weeks app has been incredible when we are feeling like terrible parents. It has been so reassuring that we are doing things fine and our little Man is just growing. The info has been spot on as the weeks have gone on! I’ll definitely be using this for the next little one!

I've heard a lot about this app and my friends seem to rely on it a lot. They all said it was extremely accurate. I hate paying for apps which is why I was hesitant to buy it but I gave in because my son, who is 10 weeks, has been super fussy lately, eating all the time and not sleeping well at all and I wanted to see if this app would go along with what he's experiencing. Well it shows that he's currently going through a "sunny" phase but I completely disagree with that. I'll keep with the app for a few weeks to see how "accurate" it is but right now I'm not finding it that great. Please note that I did use my due date, not my son's birthday.

This is a great app but if I had one complaint it would be that there is not enough reading material on each leap.

so so helpful!

I don't normally purchase apps but ended up buying this one because many moms recommended it. To second what others have said--it reads horrible and is repetitive in parts. It's almost like it was written in another language and then translated through a computer (only way I can think of how to describe it). Also, many of these milestones are already on a free app I've been using. Not impressed for the price.

I got a new phone and wanted to see if I could re download without having to purchase again. I emailed 3x with no response. Dissappointing.

My baby was born 3 weeks early and I don’t feel like using his due date is providing accurate information. I also find the app design confusing as far as layout and information.
janikut's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 1/26/18 9:58 PM
It’s a paid app, but in my opinion, it’s well worth it. It lets the user know when each leap in development is happening, and describes in depth the signs, the moods, and the new abilities. It even suggests games to play with your baby that are appropriate for each development phase. It has really helped me identify when my baby is approaching or actively going through something, and prepare for behavioral and mood changes that accompany it.
Brookestrickland's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 1/23/18 2:13 AM
This is the most accurate, most reassuring app I have ever purchased. It brings me so much sanity knowing that these leaps and fussy periods are apart of the growth spurt and knowing what to expect.

It crashes ALL THE TIME!!! Don’t even bother!

For me, hearing “sometimes they just cry for no reason!” isn’t good enough for me. I want to know why! This app really has helped me to understand and sympathize with my baby when he is going through something life changing that I otherwise wouldn’t know he was experiencing. On harder days, it’s much easier to give my little one extra grace when I know that he isn’t just “crying because babies cry!” But Instead because he is going through a major developmental leap. This app helps to explain that!
Dmoneymarie's Review of The Wonder WeeksReviewed on 1/13/18 2:43 PM
Seriously this app and the books, have made understanding baby #2 so much easier! I love the fact that it gives me ideas to entertain baby for the current state of development- and to know when the “hard” times are on the brink of being calm for a while ! I recommend this to all moms new and pros ;)

Love the app and all the information it provides. But I just wish I had the ability to mark when ( I think) my child had started the leap. Keep my own timetable.
