dernhelm1's Review of Progressive Alarm Clock For Ipad
Reviewed on 8/28/19 2:07 PMWaking up to a progressive alarm is a lot less jarring the standard alarm clocks. This app is great with how you can customize the alarm. I wish it was still supported. Update: I have found occasionally the app will reset itself rather than alarm. Hope this bug can be fixed. Update 3/14/19: app is still bugged. Occasionally instead of alarming, it will just reset. I woke this morning to my backup alarm and wondered why this one didn’t work. When I opened my iPad this app was open, alarm was active, but it was going to alarm in 24 hours. Please fix this bug. Thank you

Reviewed on 8/28/19 2:07 PMThis is a great app. It has helped in changing the way I wake up in the morning. Mileage will vary, but for me, the first bell generally wakes me up. No jarring, annoying Radar/Waterfall/Inane BS. A very quiet reminder it is time to get up.

Reviewed on 12/12/18 11:22 AMIt has become unreliable. On several occasions over the last few months it has failed to go off at the set time. A previous review mentioned a possible connection between the iPad announcing an incoming phone call on their iPhone and the alarm app switching from am to pm. I haven’t noticed this correlation, but there’s definitely something happening that causes the alarm to fail occasionally. I *REALLY* hope the developer addresses this issue. As much as I love this app, to the point I’d be willing to pay for an upgrade, I can’t afford to trust an unreliable alarm app. Spotlight Six...I hope you’re reading this!

Reviewed on 11/27/18 12:45 PMI wrote the below review after I first got the alarm,,,BUT,,, recently the alarm has been “forgetting” to go off every once in a while. I love the gradual awakening, but I now set 2 alarms to be sure I get up. I set the second one ten minutes later as backup. Insight usually works. Today it woke me up an hour early, 4:30 instead of the 5:30 that was displayed! The trouble with most alarm clocks is that they won't give you a second to just wake up naturally without pushing a button. The ability to choose how long between gongs is a lifesaver for me. I set the gongs to be over a minute apart so I can slowly wake up and hit the "Stop" button at my own pace before a second gong strikes. I don't need an alarm clock to frustrate me awake! A gentle reminder is all I want. Progressive Alarm lets me choose how to wake up. Perfect!

Reviewed on 11/27/18 12:45 PMThe progressive alarm clock wakes me up gently. It provides the closest experience to a natural wake up, while still waking me up on time.

Reviewed on 11/27/18 12:45 PMThis is a great alarm clock! Wonderful to wake up more gently with the progressive increase in loudness. I've never not wakened with it so despite the fact that the bowl sounds are pleasant the still wake me up.

Reviewed on 11/27/18 12:45 PMI love how this gradually wakes me, and with gentle progression. It's a peaceful start to my morning. The only improvement I would make is the ability to dim the display more. I like my room really dark, and put my device face down on the carpet so there's no light 'leaks'. When I turn it face up in the middle of the night to check the time, it's just too bright for my taste. But I've never found an alarm I like better.
