Pregnant Dad App Reviews

It's a nice littl app. Some good tips and knowledge throughout the pregnancy. There are things that aren't too interesting; some of the content is generalized. It's reasonably priced for what you get.

This app WAS the best of all the pregnancy apps we bought when we got pregnant. It WAS the one I kept going back to for 38.5 weeks. The information was light yet informative. It was good place to organize our baby's sonogram photos. HOWEVER, after the latest update at the end of April 2015, when my wife is 6 days from our due date, and when we'd really need to have all our medical info and contact numbers close at hand...the new update makes the app CRASH every time you try to access those important phone numbers and addresses. REALLY? When we're so close to actually needing the info, they went and screwed up the app! I'm really disappointed, especially after taking the time along the way to compile all the important information we'd need. Very very very upset they UPDATED the app. It worked great before.

Content-wise it has some interesting stuff here and there, but if you think you're gonna spend 99 cents and know everything you need to know... you might have a larger problem.

So far this is a good app. I have been looking for an app like this since my wife and I started trying for a baby.

It told me to shave my child's head and I did, a week later she was still bald!

This app is just okay. Sometimes it's stuck on the same advice for a couple days in a row. Really thought it would give me better advice than what it does. I wouldn't buy it if I had a do over

It was decent. Had a few facts that were good. But wish it was more like mom apps with videos and pictures and things like that. Can't complain for it being free though.

Easy and simple

This is the third time this has happened. I try to open up the app and it closes right away and will not work. Please fix

After seeing other apps I see this app was a waste of money. Where's the fact of what's I will b expecting not stupid fact like the odds of twins. Like give me some facts that will help me for what is comin. How big the baby should be. How to deal with my wife. Different things like that. It shld be something new everyday something that will HELP. Not jus stupid facts about irrelevant stuff!!

Pretty handy App, fun little bits of info. Great for that question...how many weeks is she? This App keeps track, because Man, these nine months go by quick...at least for us dads.

The backwards grammar is too distracting for me. Moving on to a different men’s pregnancy app.

Love the idea of a pregnancy app for dads, but the execution isn't great, especially for the price. Not a lot of relevant articles, and no other very useful features. There are some other apps geared towards future dads, and I think I'll check them out.

.....repeats and not enough new information each day. Really idiotic advice that borders on offensive. Overall, complete waste of time.

Good app to help dads to be. Also good for helping your wife or girlfriend. I wish they gave a little more daily info instead if 1 piece if I for a week. Other than nice app and helpful.

Why did I pay for an app that is giving me the wrong week I put the due date in that the doctor tells us and it's saying we aren't even at the weeks the doctor say. I'm upset that I paid for this app hoping it would help me understand what is going on for this is my second child but I couldn't be there for the first and I wanna know every little detail. And from what I understood this app could help with that. And it can't even calculate the proper weeks. I'm not happy with this app at all and am upset with my self for buying it.

Provides mostly useful info for the father-to-be.

Not worth it at all. The lite version is better than paying. What a waste. Doesn't save correct info and doesn't send notifications

It's a great app and teaches a lot I'm so glad I found it!! And it had a link to The Chive so yea that alone made it the best daddy app ever!!! KCCO!!

Better than most man-oriented pregnancy guides. I only wish there was a new fun fact for every single day.

A couple months in, and so far it's a great app. The daily messages are funny and the baby data is great

App can't remember the originally entered due date, and automatically reverts back to week 1 every time it is opened. Even when set to 10 weeks on the baby data page, the information page stays at 1 week. Can't believe I paid money for this.

I'm a new dad and was excited to find an app just for me. But I am extremely disappointed that it's works as well as a toaster in a bathtub. The information doesn't change, it's extremely glitchy, crashes when opening appointments or contact information, skips multiple days when trying to go back or forward, just a bad app. It's free thank goodness.

3 weeks in and not too useful. As others have pointed out, repetitive... And full of grammatical errors

Right now this app is better than nothing at all. That is about the extent of the benefits. There is very little information and tips for helping your partner with symptoms which could be quite useful also. All in all, it's a great idea but lacks follow through at this point.

This app does absolutely nothing. Next to all the free gender neutral apps or even free apps aimed at women, this is a joke.

Useful with a good sense of humor. Helps you get through the day to day of waiting.

After seeing some of the apps my wife has, I guess I just expected this app to be more on par with those. I like the idea of the timeline using an image of an embryo/fetus throughout its development, but it feels poorly executed. I've seen other apps (mainly for women) that have clearer images and explain more about the child's development. Also the information is difficult to access. You have to tap through each day to get to specific information as opposed to being able to search by subject or even scroll like you would in a FB feed. The actual content is informative but the app overall is underwhelming.

Can’t believe there is even a paid option for this app. Horribly written to the point it’s distracting, and not enough helpful info to keep it, deleting after a week.

Great for dads to be and interesting facts I never knew. Great!!

This app is great for new dads!!! I can follow along with my wife's apps on her phone. I also like the daily little note that you get.

Much improved from the first time I used the app. I recommend it to new and seasoned dads. I wouldn't mind seeing an article for each day but this has improved greatly on the 2nd time around

This app truly panders to the father as you would expect from the name. It's fun and informative and helps me feel less lost through this process lol.. Must have for first time dads like myself!

I am really excited to use this all the way thru our pregnancy!

First off, the developer REALLY needs to hire an editor to go over the text. This reads like it was written by someone who speaks English as a second language. It's not unreadable, but a good proofreader would go a long way, here. Second, the information in this app is dubious at best. A Chinese astrological chart that can predict the gender with "90+%" accuracy? Give me a break. This was fun at first, but there are much better apps out there.

I enjoy the fact it's directed towards the dad and explains things from a guys point of view. Some more advice would be nice. The biggest problem is it can't figure out the correct weeks. The calculator it uses has some bugs.

This app has the right idea. I’m glad that there is an app for expecting fathers. We all know that there are plenty for mothers. It’s full of helpful information. However, the lite version and the paid version are hardly different. Also, some of the articles are so poorly written that they can be hard to read. With a few tweaks, this could be an awesome app.

I really dig the app as a first time dad. It's fun, entertaining and informative too. I give it four stars because the UI could be made so much slicker and sexier.
