Loving it but I can’t get the “Cheers” to work

App crashes on a semi-regular basis while running, takes forever to open, and freezes way too often.

Nike was one of my favorite brands. I am deleting this app because of Kapernick.

Last update wiped out every single run of mine over the last five years. Terribly disappointed.

Deleted my app and will never buy another Nike product again. Very disappointed!

On my iPhone 7 the only way I can see how to close the app is to shut down the phone and restart the phone. Otherwise it’s on all day. Furthermore it tracks my driving the car!

As a novice runner I really appreciate this app and the coaches and stories shared. I find it keeps me wanting to come back and hear more, learn more and at the same time I’m making miles! I love the positivity of coach Bennett, he helps me get through when I’m ready to give up. I love the inspiration in the stories and athletes and knowing how hard they work to be the best - really puts it in perspective when I’m feeling like I want to stop. I highly recommended it. **plus extra bonus for Nike and the new add with Colin Kaepernick, big high five! I like you even more as a brand and I will buy your shoes and support you because of this advertisement! Thank you!

This app is one of the best things I have ever put on my phone and I always get frustrated when I run cause I don’t know how much I run and how long I have.So now I know everything from just my phone. So I just want to say thank you.

This app is great for outdoor running but as a treadmill runner my stats are not included in ‘Achievements’ so I have no idea when I’m breaking my own records which is disappointing for someone who wants to track their personal progress.

I really like this app for running, as it has some great features and the Apple Watch app works really well. My one gripe is that I can’t turn off the celebrity voiceovers after every run without disabling voice feedback entirely. I like hearing my distance, pace, and time at every split without having to look at my phone, but listening to Kevin Hart after every run is annoying.

I had tried to start running so many times, but this app has finally made it a reality! I love the guided runs, and that Nike keeps coming out with new ones to keep things fresh and fun. One thing I wish it did was automatically (or even offer a manual way to) add splits to benchmark runs so I can better track my progress. Otherwise, fantastic app that has significantly impacted my health and fitness!

Nike quality has gone down year over year and it is hard to imagine it getting any worse. This app is another example of poor quality. Nike you have lost a family of 5 as customers. Doubtful Nike even cares about customers at this point.

The app has big lag to start with Apple Watch serie 2, no audio feedback thru Bluetooth the you use Apple Watch to start the workout. It was working previously versions. The app also crashes a lot when you use Apple Watch. “Just do it”, done with this app.

Can’t even start a run on my Apple Watch after your last update even after deleting and reinstalling like you always tell us to do. Some of us take our health and activity seriously. Get your act together Nike.

This is the worst app I have but unfortunately it’s how I compete with friends on runs. The app sometimes doesn’t record runs, it crashes a lot, and takes up to ten minutes just to start a run

I love this app. Works great on my iPhone but now I have an Apple Watch 4 series and want to run with freedom of not carrying phone... Nike Run app will not show on watch. Now it says it must be updated. I don’t see option to update. Frustrated and sad that the two don’t play together!!! Fix this please

Download. Put some info in. Go to QuickStart and you are on your way. I find that if I look at my logged runs it motivates me to run more! I also enjoy the luxury of seeing the calories I burned at the end of a run.

I got the app for training for a marathon, but it doesn’t work too well. Apps location mapping is terrible. You lose out on valuable elevation data. I would rate this app lower if I could. Use Under Armour app Map My Run.

Not intuitive and not flexible. Love the concept of the customized training plans, but the technical execution in this app has me cursing at it daily. It’s awful!

I’ve used this app on and off since Nike has had an app. The training plans and stuff are great, but I currently have a few issues with it. My last long run is recorded as a run, but the achievement for my longest run is stuck, and it doesn’t think I completed it as part of my training plan. Just minor issues, but still annoying. Once I complete my marathon, I may switch to something else if it’s not fixed.

I’ve used this app for years, and although it gets less helpful as a running app (more focus of the social connection), I’ve resisted the urge to switch apps. It’s bad enough that the app is super slow to start up, has constant glitches, and so on, but the worst is that every time I run a race, the app takes forever to sync my run, and for my first full marathon last fall, and now my most recent half, the app crashed before the sync and totally lost my runs. DONE!!

How are Apple watches good for workouts?

Last spring was my first year on my high school track team and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Being surrounded by motivational friends and learning to be more health conscious is something I’ll be able to cherish forever. This summer it was initially difficult to keep the same routine and rhythm for running. This app changed the game. Pairing my Apple Watch with NRC and downloading Guided Runs has helped me continuously better myself in the off-season. Every time I run, Coach Chris Bennett is with me every step of the way, telling me time and time again that I’m a better runner than the runner who started the run. And it’s true. And it’s thanks to Nike Run Club.

It takes a long time to start up on the watch, maybe 10 minutes. And sometime would flash out.

I ran with friends that also use Nike run club today and it gave me 6.5 miles of credit to their 7.5. We ran together the entire time. Extremely frustrating when trying to train for my first 1/2 marathon.

Wish there were more stickers/posters for sharing my runs.

This app was terrific when it first launched for the watch. Was the first running watch app that gave you everything you needed and was simple to use. A joy that made me so happy I invested in the Apple Watch. Every subsequent update has made it worse. The sync has become less reliable and I routinely lose several runs a month. They just disappear from the watch after completion. Starting a run has become 5 to 10 minute exercise in frustration as the huge yellow start button on the watch face is often unresponsive. When you run at 5AM before work every minute counts. The latest software update is now refusing to install on the watch at all, so now I have had to default back to the workout app that comes standard on the watch. I have a suspicion that the massive amount of data associated with all the new “features” like coaching and social networking and challenges (which are completely pointless) have overwhelmed the software / hardware and ruined what was a great product. Nike and Apple... you are better than this.

Apps ok but I set the Distance for 2 miles, thinking it would stop at 2 miles. It did not. I can never stop at exactly 2 miles. I want to compare my times for 2 miles not 2.03, 2.01, 2.02.... This would help older runners who need reading glasses. Just a suggestion.

I LOVE guided runs so much. It makes a huge difference.

Love the app. It’s been a good motivator. I can see my improvements, my pace, listen to some nice playlists. Keep it up.

I did a 2hr walk/run ... my time was captured but not distance. Where is the support desk

I’ve been using this app for about a year now on both my Apple iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 3. The app has become increasingly unreliable on both devices. The guided runs don’t seem to download anymore on my Watch. The speed runs have never worked on my Watch. This app needs some work or I’m ditching!

Fails halfway through my run multiple times. The music player on it is annoying as well it takes control and starts over Everytime and I have to just go to the music app anyway to change myself.

Nike run club is and always has been my favorite running app. I love the coaches messages and the feeling of connectedness with the running community. It’s user friendly. I love posting my runs and logging in to show people my achievements. After having struggled with childhood obesity, I value NRC as if it were a friend always ready to welcome me back no matter how much time has passed. I love NRC.

I have given this app too many chances. It’s like a bratty child. It’ll work when it wants to, but most of the time, you have to put up a fight with it for it to cooperate. Even then, 50% of the time it won’t work. Too many glitches! It doesn’t track my run properly. It pauses by itself even though I’m still running. It’ll freeze out of no where. It’ll crash out of no where. There’s just too many things and times for me to list. Just know that it’s super frustrating to use, especially if you are an avid runner.

Keeps asking me for txt verification with area +86. And you can’t change it to 1? Stucked and failed tonight’s run!

I literally just downloaded this app this morning because a friend referred me to it and I fell in love. I am an overweight 22-year-old female who has packed on weight from depression and anxiety. It got worse last year when my dad passed away. I knew that I had spiraled out of control when I hit the 200’s so I wanted to do something about it. Long story short this app actually made me think that I could try running as an option. The guided runs are great and motivational even for beginners like me. Despite the other reviews, it synced perfectly with my series 3 Apple watch. So Far I have no complaints. Thank you, Nike!

Sharing the run route not working without adding a selfie. I don’t want to add a picture of me, just share the route. The app freezes and pops back to adding a photo every time. Please fix bug.

I’ve been using this app for a while and I bought the Apple Watch 4 mainly for activity tracking, I’m waiting for the Nike version.

The “ don’t want to run run” is brilliant! I would like to be able to export my run history so I can analyze it in other programs. I believe you used to keep my run history on your website but I can no longer find it.

I’ve had this app for a little over 4 years now.Cons: I don’t like that I cannot challenge my friends anymore . My splits doesn’t show because I use a garmin watch. Pros: absolutely love the guided runs. Love the badges and the challenges. Pretty accurate on the estimate time to finish a distance based on run history. Feedback: wish that the app would help with training or a customized plan to reach certain pace goal. It would be pretty if the app can say your name as it encourages you through a run. I’m a fan of this app and constantly recommend it

Love the guided run feature but the app hangs part way into the run. The associated playlist never seems to work and when I switch to iTunes for music, returning to this app inevitably stalls the run losing any progress. Doing a force quit then starting the app again starts the run again not allowing me to pick another guided run. All of this had previously worked in other versions.

I love this app

I’d like to be able to see all of my guided run downloads on the watch in one place. Ideally in the Watch app on my iPhone and manage my downloads from there and also in the watch app. Similar to how music is managed. I’d also like to be able to change a run from indoor to outdoor with during a run.

Love the app, just wish I could adjust the voice overs more. I want to get voice alerts at times intervals and distance intervals.

This app is great for walkers, too. Need some encouragement that’s easy to see? I screen shot the page at the end of every walk that documents my route, miles walked, pace, calories burned, etc. and stash them all in one folder. I can open it and have a quick visual of my progress, all my routes, calories burned, etc. On those days when I’m wavering, it’s great inspiration to see what I’ve accomplished and to make me lace up my shoes and get out the door.

I use Nike Run to practice and stay ready for my Army Physical Fitness Test. Anything I want to put in my walk or run is very easy to do. I like using this program.

I actually really like Nike Run Club...it's the first app that's managed to get me running (and enjoying it!) on a regular basis. That's no small feat, because I have always hated running. But the Apple Watch integration just keeps getting worse and worse...the watch can't follow the coaching plan, and rarely syncs with runs started from the phone. Even that hadn't stopped me from using the app. BUT NOW with this last update, it won't even give me the option to pair my watch. I have a series three watch, running the latest WatchOS, and a brand new phone with iOS 12. The settings on NRC screen no longer displays the Apple Watch option. Pleeeease fix it! 🙏🏼 Update: after resetting my watch completely (deleted all data, everything), it now appears on the app. But the app never asks for the Motion and Fitness permissions it needs...and it doesn't appear in Settings>Privacy>Motion&Fitness either. So...an hour later, I still can't pair my phone with NRC 🙄. Also: I get no credit for Nike Training Club workouts (on coach plan). Ever. I've tried uninstalling both apps, restarting phone, nothing works.

It doesn’t work

Not updating. Will not sync with NEW Apple Watch. Stuck on an old achievement and will not change!

Has problems syncing workouts with older models of AppleWatch. Has a tendency to crash and not log workouts.

Can’t do the only thing that a running app needs to do... track your runs. But hey, I can more easily select what shoes I’m wearing from my large selection of running shoes (1 pair).

For a running app, it fails at the most important function: reliability! Terribly inconsistent sync with Garmin run. Works one time, then not working 2 other times, and the cycle repeats. Super frustrating!!

I love the new way the exercises are instructed now!!! I love the coaching!!!

I have used this app for years and I am finally deleting it. There are multiple issues with it: sometimes the app will not start even if you press start, it crashes in the middle of runs and is highly inaccurate. I run 10 miles every day and go the same route. The distance ends up being .25 of a mile more or less.

I used 3 running apps before I tried the Nike NRC. No question it’s the best running app to use for training and monitoring progress. Highly recommended.

Enjoying guided runs, head space and speed drills

I loved this app despite the occasional crashes. One day I updated the app, and I lost an entire month of runs I’d be tracking, which was pretty annoying.

I’d like to be able to set the app to give audio updates at personalized/specified intervals instead of .25 km or .25 mi.

I was so impressed with this app at first. Then it started shutting up mid-run. Which isn’t a big deal. What really bugged me is the Coach part doesn’t allow you to check off runs if you didn’t log them through the app. To save Data I wouldn’t use on short recovery runs. The app then completely changed my full training schedule to account for runs it thought I missed. Also the coach makes you download another Nike app for different workouts which also can only be marked complete through logging in the app.

App keeps on giving me problems like not resuming runs after auto-pause. And now with their support of this kneeler I am done with Nike. Bye app!

GPS is not accurate. As much as a quarter of a mile difference from one day to the next.

I bought new Apple Watch S4 and is impossible to enable motion and fitness

No need to pay for a running coach. This app has everything you need to help you run faster and stronger. One of my favorite all time apps.

Coaches are great

App is fading fast. Doesn’t keep gps during whole route. Fails to start and stop when directed. Watch and app are losing quality.

I am so disappointed. I bought the nike I watch because you guys had a great app. Now, it is worthless because it won’t allow me to choose anything and goes directly into countdown. Every time I want to use it, I have to delete it and do it all over again, therefore, all my data lost. I have tried to talk to Nike and they reply but don’t follow up after. Si increíble disappointed.

The ability to Stream pandora

Have to delete it until update comes out. Having to carry my phone defeats the purpose of a watch. So disappointed

Watch app doesn't have coach feature. Unfortunately this defeats the purpose I bought an Apple watch for--not taking my phone running!

It seems as thought when I am going up and down in elevation because of running on mountains it doesn’t track that change, only distance tracked on the map

Never upgraded to the “Nike Run Club” garbage—didn’t want to lose the marathon training program. Now I discover that I can’t open the old app in iOS 12. Well, it was a good run—I guess I’m finally officially done w/Nike running. Thanks for ruining a good thing, Nike.

Awesome app

I love the guided runs because it motivates you to keep pushing rather you felt like running that day or not!! Once you’ve started you now have the motivation to keep going and you can keep in mind that there’s alway someone there for you on any other day you may not feel like getting that run in!!

Updated 9/24/18 Most of the bugs have been squashed in the last year and the app is 95% successful at tracking and saving my runs. When will NRC be updating for WATCHOS 5? Would love to see cadence introduced sooner rather than later.

I like running

I’ve been using the Nike Run app for several years now. I stuck with it through that horrible update a few years back and it’s been fairly good to me. I love the layout, the guided runs are one of the best features and I use them regularly. I like the coaching feature too for getting ready for a race. The variety of runs it offers really challenges me. Few things that aren’t the best and need improvements: -Speaking level over music in the guided runs. The voice overs are way too quiet. Often I have to turn off the background music just to hear them. -It doesn’t always track my progress in weekly and monthly challenges. -Edits I make to runs often don’t show up in the app or in the training feature. - STOP MAKING NIKE TRAINING APP PART COACHING PROGRAMS. It should be optional!

This app need an update cause doesn’t support Apple Watch series 4.

This app single-handedly convinced me to switch to Apple devices.

After this last update on apple ver. don’t know the foggiest idea but this ap has completely ruined this weekends 6 mile (10K)train. All is good till the second mile it stops working.. I didn’t per select a certain amount of miles.. so I’m not sure if others are getting this too.. not ready to give just yet on Nike Run logged in over 3,000+ miles..

Despite multiple updates and multiple attempts to sign in/sign out, turn devices off etc you cannot start the run on the iPhone and sync info to your watch to look at during your run. It simply does not work.

App isnt updated for WatchOS 5, so if you don't have the pre-installed (beta?) version on a nike+ apple watch 4, it can’t be installed yet.

I bought a new phone and this completely stopped syncing with my Apple Watch. There isn’t any point using this app if it doesn’t connect to the watch. Tried everything from re-downloading the app on both devices and nothing. It’s a shame because phones need to be upgraded and Nike doesn’t support that. Ruined my day.

It seems fairly obvious that using coach in the watch would be a necessity and yet. This severely limits the usefulness.

Can you rate something 0 stars? Crashes constantly at the start of a run and at the end. If it fails to record part of a run it’s a bonus, because sometimes it won’t record a run at all. This is after my profile somehow lost a year’s worth of run history. Customer supports was completely useless. I’d expect much, much better integration with the Nike+ Apple Watch. Done

The new Apple Watch OS tracks cadence. Will the Nike Run app track cadence? Also when competing in multiple sport events when transitioning from bike to running the app loads but the run tracking feature doesn’t load to start tracking my run.

I’ve had the Nike Running app for several years now. I’ve seen the highs and lows of it, but, it’s certainly improved over the years and one of the top running apps out there. Black level runner. A+++

Nike should be ashamed of releasing such a piece of garbage app. It’s impossibly slow to start tracking a run on an Apple Watch, the “Start” screen freezes most of the time and it takes multiple attempts before launching the countdown. Frequently, instead of starting to track a run, the app just crashes with the Apple Watch screen going dark and displaying a spinning white circle. After completing a run, the app takes forever to synchronize with the Apple Watch and an eternity to synchronize with my iPhone. Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes it takes hours before I can review my run stats. Oh, and forget running it on an iPad, it literally takes DAYS to be able to look at your run stats. Case in point, my iPad is not showing my last two runs. Maybe next week? The app has countless utterly useless features that I would gladly trade for basic reliability.

This keeps crashing on my Apple Watch 3. Sometimes I can’t even get it started. Did a google search and found it’s a common problem. Switching to Runkeeper which is much more stable.

Currently does not Support Apple Watch Series 4. Pretty ridiculous they were not prepared for this.

App is awesome and maybe a software update is need but got the new Series 4 Apple Watch and it’s gone! The app for my watch is not there, tired re booting both devices and everything and just not there Still amazing for the free workouts and how it keeps you on track if you’re looking to better your life.

Got my new watch yesterday and it won’t download onto the watch until this app gets updated! Please fix ASAP.

Love this apps!!

I upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch Series 2 to iPhone XS Max and Apple Watch Series 4 and the performance is night and day. With my old devices the watch would never pick up that I started a run from my phone. The one time it did, it didn’t last through a 3 mile run. With the new devices everything works nearly flawlessly. The only problem I’ve noticed so far is an issue I had with my old devices: randomly music playing through the Music app just pauses and requires me to push play again. That’s the reason for the missing star in the rating. If you can fix that then you’ll get five stars from me. TL;DR This app works great as long as you have the latest Apple hardware. If you don’t have the latest gadgets then you might get poor performance.

I hate to update, don’t know what’s going to change or how it will affect the things that I have gotten used to. Might have to check out Strava or some other app

There are syncing issues between the iphone and Apple watch. I have the iPhone X and Apple Watch 3. I use both during my runs and there are always issues between the two with syncing information. The in app Spotify usage is horrible. It constantly has issues with stopping or skipping in the middle of songs even when the screen is locked. The guided runs are nice in the app but the app Needs some work before I can feel confident while using it.

I’ve been using this dumb app since 2015 and I couldn’t be more disappointed with it. It has constantly glitched through all the years I’ve been using it. This app just ruined a perfectly good workout because I noticed halfway through my run that it wasn’t calculating the distance, only timing my run even though I hadn’t changed any of the settings and I started the app as I normally do. The app is not even reliable to use for its basic function. I had to stop halfway through a run I was already doing because I had no idea how far I had been going, and I’m extremely irritated. I would expect a lot more from a company like Nike and I will not be using this app ever again.

I’ve been looking for a coach or somebody who can help me improve my speed and endurance for the long run but just couldn’t find one. Just scrolling through running apps and this one caught my attention. I’ve been using this for a month now and my running does improve dramatically!! The coaching here is all free and the only thing you need to do is your time and effort. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to run by themselves but better each run! The guided run is really helpful and motivating. It distracts you from thinking too much in the run and moreover shows you how to realize your own pace to reach your goal. 10/10

Love using the app normally and am a yearly customer of the program. Just got new Apple Watch Series 4 and no update...: please fix.

I don’t do these often but I like Nike run !!! When you stop it stops when you go it goes tracks everything miles pace and elevation and best part no hidden fees!!!!!

It takes me forever to get my run started with the 1st gen Apple Watch. I can easily waste a few minutes waiting for the countdown to begin. The last run I started on the treadmill did not track my miles or pace. I checked the app and the whole run was not recorded. It’s so frustrating. I’m thinking of buying a Fitbit or Garmin.

Yet it does keep getting worse. A couple runs after the new “update” the start button doesn’t work. I have to use the “distance” setting to get it to work. Sometimes it will start. Sometimes it won’t. Goodbye Nike, hello Strava.

Can't get runs to display on the watch unless I start it on the watch, but then the phone says I need to start the run on my phone. Started using the app to train for a 5k. The run I did yesterday did log into my plan. Not a big deal because I know I did, but it's frustrating when things don't work correctly.

Best Running App I’ve used !

I provided all access from Health app to Nike Run Club app but still it's crying that ot can't track distance.. What a lame app!! Plus for God's sake improve the UX or simplicity of the app.. It's not at all intuitive despite having a minimal set of screens to turn to..

For the marathon coaching program, it says I haven’t completed any training this week. My recorded runs show that I have and it’s not being applied to the training.

So my wife and I both have Apple Watch Series 3. We try to do guided runs and start with the beginner stuff. It has option to play First Run soundtrack along with guided run but said soundtrack is nowhere to be found on Apple Music. I don’t and won’t use Spotify and Nike+ support is nonexistent. The app looks nice but has no clear way to find and play suggested soundtrack that goes with guided run. Why have it there if it’s not available? Really needs to be a plain and simple way to choose the run and have the Nike music play and get to it.

Ever since you and apple upgraded the app and iOS, getting the music to play properly has been a major issue. The app does not shuffle thru the play list. It stays on one tune.

Cannot start workout from watch sometimes and had to re-install and sync watch again. Cannot sync apple workout with this app... wow .... i wouldn’t need to sync apple workout if this app, at minimum, could do what its mainly supposed to do..like track a run ..

It really keeps me motivated! I enjoy the challenges, it helps me be accountable!!

I love Nike and haven’t really had any issues with any products. However, as of the last 6 or so months the Nike+ run app on the Apple Watch has been super glitchy and really slow. It’s been pretty frustrating. It still works and tacks but it periodically crashes and is very slow to respond when trying to start/pause/end a run.

I love the app. I love the features. Love my nike sneakers.

It would be nice to see things like pace, and speed like other running apps.

Apple brags about its upcoming health aps It can’t even fix a simple accelerometer. I have been complaining for 2 years about this issue when running on a treadmill. It is at least 20% off. Come on Nike. You can conduct a simple test to prove this. I know you have treadmills and Apple phones and watches. Prove it them. Apple is to arrogant to admit it. Please fix this. It is demotivating and distracting when you are training.

With this app and the guided runs, I can turn out a run feeling amazing regardless of how I started. The guided runs were an amazing addition and Coach Bennett is well, awesome. As someone who has a lot of starts and stops due to chronic pain, this motivation app gets me right back in the mindset as quickly as possible. Thank you Nike! One small suggestion - on the guided runs, keep the metrics running even after the time or distance goals have been met. Some days I just don’t stop because the initial goal was met.

The watch app is crashing during runs and I lose all data for the workout. I bought the Nike+ version of the Apple Watch with high expectations since it was a collaboration, unfortunately is is a disappointment. I think I will have to switch to another running app and hope these problems are fixed with future updates. Edit: a year later and the same problems persist. Plus a new problem getting workouts to begin. I’m searching for a replacement running app after logging 1,000 miles with Nike+.

I recently got back into running. I love the way the app tracks. I’d give it 5 stars but my biggest problem is that I haven’t been able to connect my app to my Facebook to see my friends. I’m unable to find people using it. Pretty annoying seeing how I’m with a group who is running together.

The new Shortcuts app refuses to recognize NRC when creating a new shortcut. Please fix this!

Just recently the app won’t allow me to push the start button so it has become useless. When it was working it would crash occasionally leaving me without tracking on the run. It’s good when it works so please fix it!!

Apple Watch runs no longer uploading to App. Have to add manually even when using Nike app on watch. Not sure how to contact support as links go to closed web pages. I really liked the app and sync with watch. Now it doesn’t work.

It’s a great app for running, but when I go on runs it tells me for example I ran 2 miles, but on my Health app on my iPhone it says I ran 2.8 or something like that.

Paused my run every 2 seconds of my run. Ruined the workout.

Rarely if ever connects to Spotify. Other than that 👌. Oh also give it a horizontal view when running, also give it an option to view in lock screen

My phone died right as I finished my run one day, and I thought my amazing progress would be lost. However, it automatically saved my progress! The tracking is completely accurate and the fitness plan worked great.

This app gets worse and worse. I have the Apple nike+ S2 watch and it’s slow, laggy and crashes. Just got back from another run, app crashed and I lost my run. I’m over it. It always forgets the pairing with the watch and wants to be set up again. Doesn’t start when you hit begin, or stop when clicking stop. It’s so buggy. Maybe instead of worrying about a social feed and sharing, just work on doing accurate reliable run recording. I’m ready to switch to strava. Sad to loose my years for run tracking.

Ever since the last update 3 weeks ago, this app is nearly unusable on my Apple Watch Series 2. I left 3* because I’ve been generally pleased with the app, but the last 3 weeks have me considering throwing in the towel and getting a fit bit.

Multiple times I have started my workout (I hear it say “starting workout”) and about 10 minutes go by and I never hear my status. So I unlock my phone and the workout isn’t even on. I like the run plan on this app but I stared using Runkeeper as a back up so I can accurately log my miles. Also, anytime I’ve tried to use the headspace or any of the guides runs along with my Spotify, the music just stops after one song. I go back in and try to play it and it just won’t work so I gave up on trying those out as it’s so annoying to have to stop mid run to adjust.

I used to love this app, but over time as they’ve tried to make improvements, the app seems to have gotten worse. Halfway through guided runs, the app will glitch and exit, and when I reopen it, my run will be changed to a 5k no matter what, regardless of what I had been running before (benchmark run, timed tempo run, etc.). Spotify is unreliable, and as of today the app randomly booted me off of the plan I’ve been following for five weeks, and I can’t even make a new plan because race day is in two weeks! I’ve never felt so disappointed in an app before. I think it’s especially sad because it used to be a great app. Please create an update to resolve the bugs in the app because the fact that it can’t handle a simple running plan is incredibly disappointing, especially because I’ve been relying on the app for my training.

I love NRC . Use it every time I workout. One thing tho, it takes long to get started . From the time I press start to the 3,2,1 countdown . Any reason why?

Tried to use the app support link but it doesn’t work. The problem is I can no longer share my route to Facebook with iOS 12. Otherwise it works fine.

You would think an integrated Apple Nike+ watch and app would just work...wrong. This is very frustrating to use, I have trouble starting runs from the watch - push the big green button nothing. 5 min later watch and phone figure out I started. Pathetic equipment. Switch to Garmin after 2 years with this garbage.

I am not a serious runner but jog 2 Times a week. Great app for reminding me of my pace and my history. Plus occasionally helps navigate back when I am not on known turf. Would prefer they add an elliptical setting and maybe tennis.

This is a great app. I just use the ‘free run’ mode when running, and find the mile splits, average pace, heart rate and current pace to be very accurate when used with the Apple Watch. Occasionally will not update recently finished runs on the watch - completed runs are sometimes not added to the ‘history’ section on the watch, but appear on the phone. The app seems to glitch when attempting to start a run, guessing this is because the watch is disconnecting from the iPhone when getting out of the Bluetooth range, but this is very annoying when trying to start a run but having to wait for the ‘countdown’ to start a run with the app.

The guided runs are amazing for me. They motivate and inspire me. I’ve been using this app for years. It’s lovely to have long-term record of my runs as well as praises from the recordings. Great job Nike!

Have used this app for several months and it is becoming progressively more glitchy. App on phone is not syncing with app on my Apple Watch. When I start a run on my phone, it used to automatically start the run on my watch, but now it no longer does so. I also have to restart my watch literally every single day before launching the Nike run app because otherwise it won’t even let me start a run (start button completely unresponsive). This is super inconvenient because if I don’t remember to restart my watch until I’m about to start running, I have to delay my run by several minutes waiting for the watch to reboot. App will often freeze on my watch when I try to toggle between indoors and outdoors runs. During my last long run, the app on my watch quit itself multiple times and I thought I had lost 19+ miles of data; I re-opened the app and thankfully it started where I had left off, but why does it have to close by itself? Getting quite frustrated by the lagging and glitches and considering switching to a different system for tracking my runs.

Unreliable during runs and at times when it does track my run it disappears after as if I never ran so days like today I lost out on 5 miles.

I like how the app is coaching me by having my schedules on time and the way I can edit this.

Have been holding out hope with each update that they will make this app work better with the Apple Watch, but so far no luck. It crashes or freezes about 50% of the time I open it, just trying to start a basic run, and lags significantly on just about everything. The one improvement to note is that the GPS tracking has gotten more consistent. But that doesn’t make up for the constant frustration any time I want to track a run. The only reason I continue to use this app is because of the hundreds of runs I’d already logged before the big update that made everything so frustrating.

On the watch, I have to constantly restart the app, and now it appears shut off and turn my watch back on to start a run. This adds 10 minutes of dead time to my fitness routine. And today, I got the joy of doing the same to try to get my run data off my watch after hitting stop and the app crashing. How hard is it? I used FitBit for years and never had nearly as many problems.

Pretty good app. Would have given 5 stars if the app would vocalize when you run your splits. There are many runs of 200m but you have to look at your device to know when you’ve covered that distance.

Did another run today and the app on my $400 Nike Apple Watch would not turn off. So frustrating when you run 10 miles at a competitive run and you can’t stop your running app. I’ve logged 1336 miles with this app and I about to ditch it. Please figure this out Nike and Apple. How can you sell a watch/app combo and not have it work? Series 2 Apple Watch, 7 plus phone all up to date 😡

Updated app won’t connect to my chest strap HR monitor anymore. It also didn’t start the GPS on my run today until a couple minutes in. I’ve started using the Polar app so I can keep track of my HR, but realized the update Nike app won’t sync runs from my Polar app anymore either. I used to really liked the Nike app, but it’s pretty much worthless if the GPS and HR monitoring doesn’t work.

The app keeps freezing and crashing in the middle of runs.

I can’t believe I put up with this garbage app for so long. The Apple Watch app has terrible input lag, (1-3 seconds) crashes every time you pause, and past the 10mile tracking point it just stops working. Now I can’t even get it to open. These are complaints I’ve been reading about for years on forums. Apparently they don’t care to fix them. Switch to straps folks. This is just embarrassing.

I have been using NRC since 2016 but now I have deleted it because a few months ago it started as just not telling me how many miles I have ran while I was running because I am used to looking at how many miles I have ran every few minutes when i’m in the middle of running. But i can’t do that anymore. And then a week ago I had finished my probably about 3 mile run ( i wouldn’t know how much because it didn’t tell me) and in the end it normally tells me how far i ran and it said i was running for 56 seconds and i ran 0.02 miles.

How does every “upgrade” make the app worse? Latest update loses the first leg of out and back runs for the route but maintains (maybe?) the full time.

I LOVED this app. Used it for 2+ years. I had to upgrade my phone. When I logged back in to Nike Run Club I could see all of my previous runs but with no miles displayed, no times, pace, notes. All gone. The months all show the runs but tally zero. Almost 800 Miles gone. Went for a short run today to see if it would reset (after trying everything) and now shows me at 2 total miles. Very disheartening to lose almost everything. I’ll find a new app because of this but I loved this app. It was perfect...

With every update, the app gets slower and slower, and more frustrating. Give it up and go with another app!

Im using this app for allmost 4 years.. Very good app, easy to work with. Only thing I miss is the part u can challenge a friend. Will be good to see this in the app again.

I use the guided runs and I love the achievements you unlock! It really makes me want to get back out there.

The app hardly runs correctly. The app for the Apple Watch crashes or freezes consistently and doesn’t always sync with the phone. The music feature doesn’t always play the music, but ends up freezing so guided runs won’t coach because I have to play music in another app. Won’t let me add/adjust workouts for miscalculated run either and says I have notifications when I don’t. Too many bugs, too much hassle. Nike should spend more time fixes the glitches and less on campaign adds that don’t make people want to buy their product anymore than before. If your shoes run as well as your app, you can bet I won’t be running in those either.

Great free running app even has free coach that is adaptive. Wish you personalize the audio settings with the stats while on run more.

The limit is how far you are willing to go. Nike keeps up, can you?

LONG TIME USER, Can’t even start a run on my Apple Watch after your last update even after deleting and reinstalling like you always tell us to do. Some of us take our health and activity seriously. Get your act together Nike. Poor form. Your app support link is also dead! Useless.

The app doesn’t sync with Facebook anymore. No fix in sight

Update 9/13/18 After all of my frustration with this app I am finally giving up. The main reason I continued to use it was and endure all of the bugs that get introduced with every update, was because they had 6 years worth of my run history and on the website I was able to see my pace and mileage across weeks, months or years. As of April they took that away. Without a method to view my history in a summary form or download it so I can create the summaries I want there is no reason to stay with the Nike app. There are several more flexible and easier to use apps available. I really hate to lose all that history but I guess I don’t have a choice. Update 2/13/18 I have been using this app for 6 years it was great. Since the last IOS upgrade the pairing with my Apple Watch series 2 works less than 15% of the time. It has been 4 months FIX IT ALREADY!!!! If it isn’t fixed soon they will lose a customer, the only reason you haven’t lost me already is I hate the idea of not having my run history together. Nike keeps updating its app and website and each time it gets a little worse. In addition to the issues mentioned by other reviewers, now it is making me re-login every couple of days and forgets all of my run settings. It also doesn't calculate average pace for the month correctly. So frustrating. Update 11/15/17 Ok so most of my issues got worked out but then after the new iOS came out last month the watch and the phone app are not in sync at all. Now the watch rarely starts a run when I start one from the phone and if it does it is never synced up. This morning the watch on its own started a run when I was about 1.5 miles into my run and only captured the remaining distance but all of the time, so in my history it looks like I did one short really slow run and the run I actually did.

Nice ap when it works. Glitches a lot and sometimes does pause or start again when supposed to. All that aside, for a free ap it’s fine.

The app is great for certain uses, but good luck trying to utilize it’s Apple Watch functions or listen to Spotify while in the app. I used it to train for a half marathon for over three months and always had to use the Apple Watch app alone and listen to Spotify from my phone. The two never synced. The training plan was fine, but making adjustments to the plan was impossible besides moving days around. “Benchmark runs” never gave any data back and besides my own measurements I was never given data that showed my improvement. I will start using the native Apple fitness apps to track my runs after my plan has concluded.

I wish they could come up with a way that if/when you lose cell service that it still keeps track of your distance. I lost out on over a mile of tracked distance multiple times in QuickStart runs (that’s all I use) due to my phone having a weak signal and it trying to reboot the apps service when a stronger signal was connected. Sometimes the app has shut down completely and restarted the workout completely. Other then that the app is great for keeping track of progress.

I love love love this app but there are a few tweaks that would make using this app a perfect experience. - AirPod integration!! There’s currently no way to pause your run when you’re in hands free mode. Would love it if the workout would pause when you remove your AirPod - If you’re doing a guided run, the workout will not automatically pause when you come to a halt - My Coach plan - I wish there was more audio guidance on the runs. For example, on the speed runs, say you’re running 4 x 400kms - the app should give you an audible cue when you’ve reached 400km so you can pause and take your rest period. Currently, I have to run with my phone in my hand to make sure I’m doing it right I wish the individuals runs on the personalized training plans offered more info and context in the overview. As someone who is new to running, it can be a little confusing when the app just says “tempo run” or “7x700”

I would give this app 5 stars if it wasn’t for the crashes. It won’t load on my watch anymore while I start it on my phone, and when I don’t want to take my phone with me the watch doesn’t start or record my run. It’s a good app because it keeps me on track and motivated. Fix the crashes and it’ll be amazing.

App works great but the new shoe tagging feature seems to not be functioning properly. Every time I input a shoe I get a “connection error” message.

I can’t view my friends profiles or runs, it doesn’t sync from phone to watch or vice versa. The Watch app lags and doesn’t log total miles or elevation gain I hate the automatic pause feature and can’t figure out how to turn it off. So frustrating. Recalling considering switching to Garmin and Strava

All I want is to be able to start my app on my iPhone and let it cross seamlessly to my Apple Watch. It doesn’t anymore. It registers that the other device is using the app but won’t show anything. Deleted and reinstalled the app many times still no dice. It’s slow. It lags. The watch app is horrible. It used to be good and I want to use it with my Apple Watch Nike s2 but It’s frustrating me.

And the app has always been slow to load.

Not sure what you’ve done but my default is meters and I have to change it to feet every time. It also no longer stops tracking minutes when you are stopped as it previously did. I’ll be looking for another app that works as it should. And as it used to.

Something is up with this. I’m running over 6 miles and it’s saying I’m burning 350 in calories and I’m 200 lbs. This has been ongoing for 2 months. I messaged you on Facebook and got no response. Pleas fix.

I have the Nike Apple watch 2 and when I used to use the nike run through my watch it would sync to the Nike+Run app and now it no longer does... Which is disappointing to have a nike watch that doesnt show my run in activity and doesnt sync to the Nike run app. Inconvenience to have to use my phone. Thank you for fixing this problem!! I started using the app, as you expect, to improve my fitness and overall health. The guided runs have really helped me get into exercising, tracking my progress, and sharing my goals. But there is this imbalance between the coaches voice versus the music volume that is really annoying. If you turn up the volume up too much, to hear what the coach has to say, then your are painfully reminded by blasting beats thru your earbuds once the playlist goes solo. And if you turn the music back down, then you can’t hear what the coach is trying to say when he comes back.

Tbh I love the app and the way it tells you your data while running, like pace, miles, etc. the one thing I don’t enjoy is the many ads and shots at trying to sell me products, isn’t that what the original Nike app is for ? It takes forever to load on older phone because of that.

App glitches and either won’t open or crashes. If it does open it literally takes forever. Oh and then it’ll crash. I’m switching to strava, a more stable app.

When starting sometimes it take a while or will glitch halfway and then not track my run correctly

I’m training for my first 5K and have set up a my coach program in the phone app. Guys, PLEASE add the ability to download the weekly plans to my Nike+ Apple Watch.

Soooo I have my garmin to sync to my Nike app.... this morning I ran three miles and when it was synced WHY did Nike make the date 9/22/18???? Seriously?!? I track my miles monthly and I do the weekly challenges and now I’m out three miles for August. This app is getting more and more annoying. And yes the garmin app shows the correct date of 8/9/18.... how can you fix this Nike??

I've used nike+ since its inception, but since discontinuing older hardware and supporting only ios/android phones, its functionality has really tanked. The app regularly fails to upload workouts from my apple my watch--even tho' the watch and iphone have the data. May have to give strava another try.

This app has made me into a runner. The thought and behind its development along with the community that uses it are all so inspiring and so effective in helping me and others run correctly and positively. I used to hate running, now I love it!!!! I have also joined the local run club. My only gripe is that the “my coach” feature does not work with the Apple Watch. I use Nike Run Club only with the Apple Watch. This means I can’t really use the “my coach” feature, which seems like one of the best things Nike Run Club has to offer. For now I just do the equivalent runs on the Apple Watch through the regular NRC run tracker and transfer them over to the plan, but I’m pretty sure that there’s all sorts of great coaching I’m missing out on by not having my phone with me. In any case great job, just looking for that one (big) improvement.

Love the app and everything that comes with it. Watch app had a few glitches and dropped a run once. Also, I can’t access my coaching on the watch which means my heart rate is not tracked during the run if I use the app on my phone.

I don’t know what’s going on with this app anymore, worked fine for the last two years then starts dropping all my runs and not tracking right... p****** me off about to delete if it doesn’t get right

Seems every time there is an update for this app, I lose more functionality. Now it logged me out and won’t let me log back in. I even tried using the “forgot password” link twice, but they never e-mailed the instructions to reset it in the few moments they guaranteed. So, now the app is just a waste of space on my phone.

This app crashes every other time I use it! Ill start the music or talk Radio. I’ll start my run, I use it to track walking! Wait ten seconds and make it starts to track! I will lock the screen. Then later I’ll unlock the iPhone 8, only to find that the app has crashed! From what I read on the reviews, more than several people are having the same problem! What gives? Gene camp

The app over all is great I only rated it two stars to bring some attention to the one thing that doesn’t make sense. I have a Apple Watch series three Nike edition GPS, no cellular. I do most of my cardio indoors because I do it while I’m at the gym. It doesn’t make sense that while doing a run indoors you have to hold your phone in your hand to use its accelerometer. The app gets my heart rate from my watch, I don’t get why it wouldn’t use the accelerometer in my watch. My phone is a 7 plus so if I hold it while I run it will probably fly into a wall. I just think if the regular workout app on the watch can track distance indoors the Nike Run Club app should too. Otherwise I love the encouragement, challenges, layout, and options in the app. I would love some feed back from the developers on why it’s not possible to do, or if it’s a work in progress.

This review is mainly for the app on an Apple Watch. Works great most of the time but I've had it end the work out randomly at least 3 times out of about 25 runs. I set it for a time duration of 30 minutes and when I hit 2 miles, it ended the run. It's done this twice. Once I had the auto pause on and it ended the run once I stopped to tie my shoes. I don't have wireless Bluetooth headphones for the Apple Watch yet but I hope that it plays the run updates through the headphones and not from the watch while running. Last, it takes a while to sync runs from the Watch to the app on your iPhone. Other than those three issues, the app is decent. I hope Nike fixes all of this asap. Update 5-14-17 The app is even worse now. Sometimes when I check my stats during a run by lifting my wrist up when the app is telling my my stats, it will crash to the home screen of the Apple Watch. Then when you go back to the Nike app, it's back at the beginning but still recording your run. Beyond frustrating now. I guess I'll go back to my iPod or iPhone for my runs until this gets updated. I've been going back and forth with the NRC Nike apps twitter account and they've been helping but it's still not fixed yet. I've signed out of the app, signed back in, and powered off both devices without any luck in fixing this issue. Update 5-19-17 Nike has emailed me a solution to update the os on the Apple Watch and to make sure the NRC app is closed and then reopened. Works so far and I believe the problem is fixed. Update 8-7-18 Went for a run today and it didn’t save the run. It’s really hard to like this app on a consistent basis. You just never know about it working all the time. If the app worked all the time, it would be great but it doesn’t and it’s slow sometimes. Should I get a series 3 Apple Watch? Would that help? Who knows

Would like to see a 30 second count down timer. This would allow time to tuck my phone in my camel back. Put the setting menu in 3 dots top right corner. Create an overlay that combines the time and distance stats, route, and elevation

Seriously I am watching myself improve faster and better than I ever have! I love the guided runs and the motivational nuggets of wisdom throughout the run! I just signed up for my first half marathon and I KNOW I’m going to crush it because of this awesome, free, personalized app!! Can’t say enough good things! Do yourself a favor and get it!!!!

I don’t have a nike run apple watch but instead a regular sports watch. I installed the app on my watch but it’s hard to setup, not to mention annoying as eff. Nike please make your instructions clearer on setup, as it can be confusing. Also I prefer my run units in miles, not kilometers. I don’t know how to change it to that. There are two options: imperial and metric. Metric goes for both miles and kms i believe so i have no idea how to. I suggest you should label down what kind of metric and imperial units, for example run settings -> metric units-> miles. I used to like this app a lot, but i might switch to another one because it does not allow me to control much of my settings.

update after switching to iPhone: After multiple iterations, amazingly Nike continues to make their app worse. Incredibly sluggish to start, seriously should it really take at least three tries and over 30 seconds to get it started every time???? This “feature” makes the app nearly worthless for races. How is it even possible that Nike took a perfectly useful app and made it so frustrating and useless that every day you want to delete it? And what’s up with deleting the website? Making the app sluggish and unresponsive wasn’t enough damage? Nike figures that no serious runner keeps track of their stats, so there’s no need to maintain the web access. Pretty good tracker if you don’t have a fit bit or Apple Watch or whatever

When I have my Apple Watch connected while I run, the workout pauses every time I wake the watch. If this worked the app would be perfect for running.

The app used to work well until software updates in 2018 s****** everything up. Nowadays the most consistent aspect of tracking runs on the app is that the GPS on the app is inconsistent. The mileage on a route will vary from one day to the next without any deviation from me on the route. As a result, my pace is all over the place. On top of these GPS issues, the app won’t mirror on my Apple Watch. I’ve used other apps like Strava and Workout to test how they work, and I don’t have these issues when I use these other apps. Unless the the GPS and mirroring issues don’t get resolved on the Nike run club app, I will move my training to another platform.

The watch app only works as a stand alone app. If you need music from your phone, like Spotify, or want your phone to control the run (I have a series 2), this app does not work. The watch app crashes constantly and will not mirror the phone. Jump over to Ismoothrun or Strava instead. Both watch apps work like the Nike one should. And I was over 5000 miles into the Nike ecosystem. They lost me with this non-functioning watch app.

Nike Run app doesn’t automatically sync or connect with watch. No option to select Tidal music app or Podcast. On positive note, catalogue of coaches is impressive

Allows me to stay motivated with my friends! Pushes me to do more. The coached runs are my favorite.

I have used Nike run for years and it just keeps getting better.

When it works , it is great. But nothing is more frustrating than being in a middle of a run and having to stop to and mess with the app. Especially when trying to use with Nike Apple Watch. I know several other runners at work who have same issue. I have talked with support several times and I get different advice each time. Uninstall, start on phone, start on watch, use just watch but start music on different app, use just phone, etc.

I’ve loved this app for the last year, but in the last week it has repeatedly logged me out every time I open the app. After I log in, it overlays the login screen text over the “My Coach” screen and I cannot select anything. I’ve only been able to fix it by restarting my phone, but then after entering and exiting the app it happens again.

Good app all around but the Spotify integration is pretty bad. The shuffle function only plays the same 20 songs or so even though the playlist is about 500 songs. It also randomly stops playing. So I have to play the music from Spotify app and use no sound in the Nike app.

Great free app for running and analyzing your run data. It’s not for professionals’ data collection nor is it suitable for significant miles (drains the battery HARD). Otherwise, love it. My complaints: 1. The app does not use manually imputed miles to count towards the weekly/monthly/occasion challenges. So, if I run where my phone doesn’t have service or if I use my watch instead, the miles won’t count which is a huge disincentive to using the app’s community-focused extras. 2. The run app consistently fails to link to the Nike training app. On my race plans, the run app often has me doing a training day. But if I click on the training workout, the training app open, & I complete the workout, the run app does not recognize my completion despite the apps being linked. This then messes up my run plan because the system thinks I’m skipping some of my workouts. Update: I’m becoming increasingly irritated that NRC and NTC won’t sync. It’s messing up my run plan, requiring the app to “adapt” frequently because I’m constantly “missing” one of the assigned workouts. It’s ALWAYS my NTC workout. Fix it, Nike!

I open the app, and it starts to track a run...can’t click on guided run or any of the other options. Tried to click on App Support, but it comes up with an access error message. So frustrating!!

Update 8/8: Watch app still doesn’t mirror with the phone. Update 6/18: another day, another update that doesn’t fix syncing problems. I just went on a run with my wife and here’s how it went: her watch never synced with the app and then the app crashed a minute or so into the run and it forced her to restart the app, which made her distance incorrect. Then my watch app crashed and never started the run. So a bit into the run I opened the watch app again, and instead of syncing with my phone it started a second run. A few minutes later the app on my phone crashed. So in the middle of the run we had three different runs being tracked, all with different paces and distances. Tracking a run shouldn’t be this frustrating. I used to love this app, but it just keeps getting worse. The app continues to crash and I see delays on my watch EVERY. TIME. It constantly takes 1:30 minutes (if not longer) to get the two devices in sync. I’ve talked to the support team and their great advice is to just uninstall, restart my devices, then reinstall. That process takes at least 30 minutes each time and I’m not going to do that every single day before I go on a run. On top of that, the app on my phone has crashed in the middle of my last four (that’s right, FOUR) benchmark runs. The first and second time it crashed a little after 3 minutes into the run, the third time it crashed shortly after the 5 minute mark, and the most recent time it crashed a little after the 7 minute mark. There is nothing that will destroy a benchmark run quite like having it crash IN THE MIDDLE of the run! I’ve honestly had so much trouble with this app and I get nothing but the same, ineffective solutions to the app’s issues that I’m about to switch to another app and tell every single runner that I know to switch, as well.

I got the Apple Watch mainly for health and fitness purposes, so I tried the all the top running apps and Nike’s is the best. I love the in-run update - my time, split, pace, distance, etc. The post run analytics is extremely detailed, I can see where exactly in my run were my pace is a little off. I’ve used that insight to pick up my pace in those trouble spots and have improved my overall time.

I keep my phone updated as well as the app and have continued to have issues with the app taking forever to load. I have also had it crash mid run and lose all the data from the run. Most recently I did a benchmark run and in the Pace and splits section it does not show me my pace or elevation change throughout the run. Keep in mind I have not edited my run at all.

This app gives you for free what most other apps charge you for. It lacks on the social side of things. I just wish it integrated with other apps and worked on the Apple Watch better.

This app is great for anyone who doesn’t like to keep track their progress! Even though it’s supposed to...It doesn’t track the route I take, or accurately keep track how many miles I ran, or how long I was running for. And even though it doesn’t seem possible...it absolutely does get worse with every update.

For an app that is simple to use (Reason why I use the app). It’s very slow and tend to lag for an amount of time.

Watch did not connect to watch to display running stats. This happens frequently. Why? Am I m swing something?

I don’t know what Nike has been messing around with but the updates this summer are causing my watch and app not to sync. I think I have 4, possibly 5, that never synced. Which normally, is just a pain and I can input them into the app, but I don’t get the route and all the other neat stuff. Unfortunately, with the challenges a Nike device needs to record the run. So the runs I input do not count to the challenges. I have been using the Nike + app to record my runs for several years, but am now considering switching apps to a competitor that will actually work.

I am a new user to the app but love it so far. I am in the 15k training program and just hit Week 3 with my first set of speed runs, I was/am excited about these but wish the app would indicate when you hit the meter requirement and then pause the workout for your break. I found it annoying to have to watch my phone, stop/pause/start the workout to hit the right breaks. This is the first noticeable disappointment from my use of NRC. Please consider adding this capability, I would imagine I am not the only person who would find this useful.

There is a lot of testing that needs to be done on this to improve the user experience. Just to be as specific as possible I run with a Series 3 Apple Watch (WiFi Only) and an iPhone 8 with the latest OS. I will list a few of my issues I connected my Spotify then disconnected 1 week later because it just caused to much of a headache. Reminders, Emails, and Phone Calls need to be taken into consideration. When I’m running and an alarm goes off or a reminder comes through it pauses my run, once I ignore or complete the reminder or stop the alarm I have to manually start the run again. I will also tie this back to the music because when this happens the music also stops and needs to be manually restarted. Essentially no benefit to having the music. Syncing between the 2 devices is an issue and I am using these to track ACCURATE data to help improve my health, fitness, and overall wellbeing and I don’t see how the data could be accurate when the tracking is off. I love this app and what Nike is trying to do but I don’t think there is enough testing done on actual users in the field. I want to add that I have numerous tickets open since March with Nike for issues with other apps (SNKRS and Nike App) and they have never been resolved, their customer service is very rude and dismissive and most likely like most companies they close tickets when issues are not actually resolved. I have been a Nike + member for over s decade (Oct. 2006) and have never received and benefits from being a loyal customer and adapter and supporter of their products which is sad. For example, I have been a member of another company, not to be named, and when my 1 year anniversary came around in July I received an email recognizing and thanking me for me loyalty. I will add I spend much less with that company, I have spent a thousands on Nike Products from various retailers over the last decade and have never been recognized by the company as a loyal Nike + Member for 12 years. Nike, I love you but you really need to focus on your customers and products and get rid of the idea that regardless of what you do or how you operate that we will all stay loyal.

I use this everyday and love everything it can do in the app but either the Apple Watch picks the workout up mid way or not all all. I have to solely use the watch for now on. :(

The Nike app helps you to keep track of your run time and distances.

Great source for my workouts. Keeps me engaged and makes it fun.

I really like this app but there are many many flaws. I first got this app when my friend recommended it for me, I was really excited when I first got it because it would track my distance, pace, and time and it looked like a very clean cut and well designed app (which later turned out to not be the case). Here are some of the things that would happen during runs: it would leave the app and go to the home screen, it would lose data and runs, audio runs would stop giving audio, the songs I would download for my runs wouldn’t play and they would keep repeating, it would say I had notifications when I didn’t, I got an Apple Watch and it wouldn’t pair for like a week then when it finally paired when I would go on runs it wouldn’t stop or pause my runs, then they wouldn’t sync the run information. Then what really made me mad was while I was in a benchmark run it just stopped, didn’t record anything and I had to restart my whole run again and none of the music worked and the voice didn’t say anything. The list goes on and on and on. I will still use the app and I love the ability to have friends and have challenges and goals but its really hard to enjoy the app with these bugs and I can’t recommend people to get the app.

This app- as a concept alone- is super cool. I am personally motivated by badges and I love some of the guided runs a lot. I was super excited to do the personalized coach, so I gave it a try for 3 weeks to see how it would go. During that time, I was frustrated by some pretty minor bugs (notifications not disappearing once I had opened them, music stopping and not being able to start back up because the pause button was frozen- little things like that) but even though there were quite a few of them, I decided that it wasn’t worth stopping for that and tried to be patient with those bugs. However, the weekly schedule (personally) was not customizable for me. If I couldn’t run on the last day of the scheduled week, that scheduled run didn’t transfer over to the next week- the schedule continued as though I had run it. Then I got sick for a week and the schedule just continued to move on as though I had been running the whole time. Things like that don’t motivate me to keep using the app because I feel like by it being *personalized* it should also be a little more customizable to make room for things in life that you don’t really expect to happen.

The iPhone app seems to work great. The watch app needs a ton of work. It almost never syncs up with my phone, and when it does, it firstly does not track the same (it usually takes over a minute to connect to the phone, and therefore time and distance metrics do not match the phone), the HR does not show on the phone screen, and when you finish the run, it syncs it as a totally separate run. The watch app on its own does not work with the “My Coach” feature, which makes all of the above even more irritating. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. It is extremely frustrating that I can’t use the “my coach” feature without the phone, which was a good chunk of why I got the watch... that and the hr monitoring. Oh, and customer support was a joke. When I called yesterday, the only advice I got was “every time you use the app on the watch, try doing a “quick” uninstall/reinstall 😳 anyone with an Apple watch can tell you that is a joke. No quickness in that. I would really only recommend this app if you are ok with using it just on your phone OR just on your watch (in which case, you WILL sacrifice features).

I’ve been a user of this app for years, but Hong’s have gotten progressively worse with each upgrade.

I have been use this app for more than 5 years or more. Never had any issue with my account. But recently I cannot log in with my facebook account, and all my Volt status is no where to found. Fix this issue ASAP

The Nike app have plenty of pros and not so many cons that I’m familiar with. The app providing challenges or achievements gives some type of motivation to have.

I like this app because I like to track my runs and write notes as to what I ate, before the run, what I wore and how the weather is. The app also keeps you motivated with responses to your run as well as reminding you to get out and run when you have been quiet for a while.

This app has come a long way! Really liking the guided runs. Trainers make you work harder. Only negative is that sometimes GPS is off and doesn’t accurately track miles. Keep adding Longer runs!

I just updated the app and my last 6 weeks of history was deleted. In that was some personal bests which makes this sorely disappointing.

The newest update does crash a lot and the my coach feature doesn’t translate easily to watch, but i still love the functionality and user interface. I have been using this app since 2008 and through all the different iterations of the app you guys have always listened to customer feedback and have brought features back. Please get MY COACH to work from watch, guided runs are good starting point, but need MY COACH. The watch app has been very buggy, crashing a lot and need updating...

Please figure out a way to make sure any training day activity I do can be tracked entirely through my Apple Watch, especially the meter sprints. At this point have to carry my phone in my hand the entire time. I would prefer to not have to bring my phone during runs or start the day from my phone, have it carry over to my watch, then leave my phone at home.

The guided runs are THE BEST. They distract me from thinking, making running more mindless & enjoyable. Please make more! My friends and I love them :)

I have zero complaints!! This app has put me in the right path and kept me going. It’s great for anyone trying to lose weight / train / or just keep track of running! Also goes with the Nike training app (workouts rather than running) which I also recommend.

I like this app a lot. I like being able to track mileage on a specific pair of shoes, and see map, elevation, and splits. I wish the text for pace, run time, and actual clock time were larger. That's my only recommendation.

I specifically bought the Apple Watch to run with it, without the need for a phone, while listening to music and recording the run. This app has gotten progressively less reliable. Currently it just hangs at the start menu and the watch has to be powered down and restarted to regain control and start a run. It showed a random selection of recent runs in the history on the watch, like one from Sunday and one from Thursday, but Tuesday is missing. This application is not worth the time to download.

I don’t know why anyone would ever pay for a workout program, gym membership or personal trainer. This is everything you need. This app and the Nike Training Club app are both incredible. I highly recommend doing the guided runs. I have ran longer than I ever thought I could simply by throwing my headphones on and listening to the coaches. They are truly motivating and it feels like they are there with you; it helps you to get out of your own head and push through. Hands down the best workout app.

This is the best app especially the coaching part. Quickly set up a plan, adjust and get out there for a nice run. I have hundreds of runs over the years and I like how it connects with my phone, watch, etc. Better than all the others.

I loved this app, especially getting cheers on my run to motivate me. Suddenly the cheers stopped working and no one seems to be able to fix it? How can you develop an app and not know how to correct the problem after over a month?

I love this app. Combined with the Nike Training Club app it is the best workout plan I’ve had in a long time. I love the variety of the workouts. It pushes me in a way that helps me get better and I never get bored. But this app is buggy. The Facebook integration has been broken since day one, and when I reached out to customer service they just told me they know it’s an issue. No solution. Occasionally I have had runs not sync up with my training program. Finally, I wish I could see a run on my Apple Watch that I start on the phone. The Training Club app lets me do that. The Strava app will do that. Wish it would work here. Despite these bugs and drawbacks, I still use this app every day and I’m never tempted to leave. The training is that good!

My got to running app!!!

Now it currently doesn’t track my run. It somehow estimates my distance...badly. It says I do a mile when I know I’m only at about .75 miles... this ratio of discrepancy persists the whole run. Sad!

This app has everything to be hands down the best running app out there. However, starting the app on your phone won’t track your distance unless your phone is on you, EVEN IF you’re wearing your watch. Apple Watch S3 was designed with one of their main focus being phone-free workouts (Keep reading). Now, you can start the app on the watch without a phone BUT if you don’t have the AirPods, you won’t be able to hear anything while running, not mentioning you won’t be able to listen to music either unless, you know, buy wireless headphones. *** **** To add on, when running the treadmill I like to put my phone on the dashboard so I can look at it while I run and keep my eye on my stats BUT this won’t track my distance because again, even though I’m wearing the watch the phone needs to be held in my hand or be strapped on my arm. I then start the run on my watch and WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I OPEN THE APP ON THE PHONE TO LOOK AT MY STATS? I get a message saying opening the phone app while the watch app is in use will start a separate run. Can’t win. I know the stats will display on the watch but having your phone in front of you is better stuff. About every single running app in the App Store will let you use both your watch and phone as one and use the watch as tracking device whether the app was started on the phone or watch. Please listen and make an improvement 🙏🏼

I love everything about this app. It’s motivating, helpful, and fun. This helps make my runs a lot more meaningful. The only down side is that it’s still not fully compatible with Apple watches. At least not with first gen Apple watches which is what I have. Other than that, I highly recommend this to runners.

This app used to be so amazing, they decided to change it so much and now it crashes all of the time and has trouble even letting me sign in. I have deleted the app.

Latest version never tracks route properly... clock and timer start, but route map starts well after actual start location (sometimes 1-2 miles from true start location!). For the run I’m on now the app must have crashed along the way. Had to open app again and it started almost from scratch. Lost well over a mile of tracking info. Unrealizable. Not sure how an app gets worse at things with new versions, but it’s become a true frustration. I’d switch, but I have so much invested in my stats...almost to purple level!

After most recent update, distance is only shown in meters. Rate is given in minutes/mile and alert goes off after each mile. But, the screen only shows meters. I have selected imperial units as my measure. What’s up?

Overall, I enjoy this app, and have been using it for year. Unfortunately, I have lost my share of runs because the app crashes or loses my location. It’s very frustrating when you’re tracking your progress and in the middle of training.

Buttons on the Watch app are slow to respond. Pressing the “Start” button on the Apple Watch to begin a run in NRC is an exercise on frustration. I tap the Start button and nothing happens .. I wait, wait and wait and sometimes the run begins. Sometimes force-quitting the app on the watch works, but most of the time it just hangs. Happening on an Apple Watch Nike+, series 3 running the latest version of watchOS. iPhone 8 with latest version of iOS. Tried to install and re-install. Does not work.

App does not work. Will not log in with Facebook or send email to reset password.

Great for tracking distance and progress

Love the encouragement through out runs. GPS is inaccurate and inconsistent. Big deal breaker, especially when trying to recording mileage for training.

I've been using this app for years. It's very reliable and the voices are a lot less abrasive than the competitor apps that I've given a try.

This app use to be great. Now it freezes all the time and has delayed starts and stops. Pauses even when auto pause is turned off. I’ve tried to change my run goal 4 times this evening and the app just force closes. Please fix it!

They should improve on their GPS technology. I am using Apple Watch 3 Nike edition and whenever I am running the GPS tracking is very bad. E.g If I am running 8 miles on the running track, the distance I see in the app is 8.6 miles. It’s very inaccurate.

The guided runs, achievements, and tracking are great. Unfortunately, it never syncs with my Apple Watch correctly, so I never have on the go stats in my wrist. It doesn’t matter how many times I set it up, it just doesn’t work. The training plans seem solid, however the voice cues don’t happen, so you don’t know when to do what unless you are holding your phone in hand, unlocked, and staring at it during the entire run.

App does not sync well with Apple Watch

Guided runs are now on the watch screen - there are 4 watch screens to scroll through - guided run is the 3rd, which is before the options screen which allows you to pick indoor or outdoor run (often used). The guided run screen is slow to load so of course you end up clicking on one of them by accident. Keep the watch portion simple, Nike. I just want to hit start and go!

No longer can start runs on Apple Watch series 3. I’m bummed that I have to delete the app because I now need my phone to start runs, which makes it pointless. Sometimes it will start after my run on its own, as it did today.

The “feed” section feels “glitchy” and sometimes freezes while I scroll through my friends recent runs/photos. Is there way to improve this feature; I have the most recent update and have uninstalled/reinstalled the app however, no change to the glitchy/freezing feel of scrolling up or down. I have tried to “send a report” on the Nike website however, once I fill in all required information and click submit; I receive a request add “*country location” which is non-existent. I have been a longtime user of this app and loved it in its early years but with each update it seems the app becomes more of a frustration to use due to the glitchy nature. I do enjoy the additions of what this app brings (guided runs, the feed/friends, coach, etc) however, it needs to be refined in order to improve the user experience. Please fix these issues; I would be disappointed if I would have to search for a different app. Thank you for your time and support.

The app seems sufficient, however, I can’t use “personal running plan” feature on Apple Watch without taking iPhone on my runs. That’s very uncomfortable during Speed or Interval runs when you literally have to clutch your phone in your hand to track and pause such runs constantly. The whole point of GPS watch app is that you don’t have to take your phone then. There is a possibility to download “Guided runs” to Apple Watch. Why haven’t you added “My Coach” feature too?

Nike run App was my inspiration to did my very first run (at 30 years old!) 😍 I loved it since then. But when I switched my runs from outdoor to treadmill the App transforms into nightmare. It simply crushes at finish of my run, I have to put my data manually as a new run. Last time it crushed during guided run and left me in silence 😳 I’m almost cry 😢 I love running so much and it’s because of this App. Ps. I have iPhone 6s working just fine.

It’s SO frustrating to be training for a run and the awesome “My Coach” feature can’t be used seamlessly with the Apple Watch. Why has this not been added? I deleted this app a year ago because of this, wanted to try again, and still so frustrated it’s not a feature for the watch! I hope they find a way to make “my coach” work with the watch. It’s s***** to hold my phone when running on a treadmill when I have my watch. Please fix that feature!!

Lastest update has milage tracker out of whack

I love the Nike App. Only complaint is when starting a benchmark run, if you are using both your watch and it's synced to Apple watch, the phone force closes the benchmark run and you no longer receive the voice prompts. It will still record the run, but you lose the audio guide. Also, please make it so my training plan is accessible from my apple watch. I would like to not have to carry my phone with me on runs but would like to begin a run that is assigned to my plan straight from the Apple watch. For example, the benchmarks, and the speed Intervals. As of right now, I need the phone to perform those runs correctly. With a watch that has the app installed and GPS built in, this would be extremely convenient.

Great app with a lot of tools to help you get started running or push farther. My only gripe is that they continue to limit the users ability to create challenges for friends. My most productive running months came during this time period as bragging rights were on the line. Bring this feature back and you got 5 stars

I love this app but having a training plan disappear halfway through is very frustrating. I have had plans despite diligently following the plan and not missing a run.

The app, not me. Never know for sure if it’s started. Doesn’t always open. Get a black or blank screen. Wanted to see my history of past half marathons....I spent a couple of hours waiting for each chunk of history to load.

Newest update lost all my previous runs and miles. All achievements and everything! Not cool Nike.

Very accurate and very motivated

If this app worked with the TickerX, I would use it all the time. Instead, I am tracking my runs with the Under Armour Record app since the heart rate monitoring is seamless.

Recently told about NRC by someone at Balboa Park driving a white Jeep, I was using a different app before, now using NRC Always 🏃🏽 Thank You !

I have been using the app for 2 years and logged 600 miles and that's the only reason I'm still using the app. The reason I got the apple watch is not to have to carry my iPhone in my runs. It takes about 1-2 minutes to start the app and about 30 seconds to start a run!! And the worst part is when you end the run, the app will keep crashing for few minutes... Also it takes forever to show your run in the iPhone app. I'm very disappointed, there are a few times where even I lost some miles because of the crashing. One last thing, the crashing get worse as the distance increase -that is ending a 5K is much easier than ending half marathon

I’ve been a longtime user of this app, and even purchased a Nike AppleWatch. But the app has completely stopped working on the watch. So unbelievably frustrating. Switching to a different, more reliable app.

please fix it guys!! I love this app but can’t depend on it. Sometimes it doesn’t record my run at all. Very annoying. Fix the constant glitches and crashing. PLEASE!

Clearly no one at Nike customer service for this app has any clue how the product works. When I had questions about functionality, they could only recite set up instructions. I called twice, each time asking to be forwarded to someone who knew more about the product and each time I was put on hold and then hung up on. I guess Nike thought they could just make a couple of cool graphics and call it a day. Apple should seriously consider partnering with a company like Adidas that actually understands the running market.

This app does just about everything I’d ask of a running app. Sometimes the connection between the watch and the phone can be faulty, such that the race map is lost or whatever, but altogether the app is great. The only thing that I wish were available is a “last mile” pace in addition to the normal splits. That would be helpful for seeing how the final kick compared to the rest of the run.

This app has a decent running/tracking use but to get to it is a nightmare. Usually when Im ready to start I open the app only to find I am logged out and it takes so long to log back in I just have to run without it. Once you are logged in give the screen a good minute- 2 minutes to unfreeze because thats how long you stay at the main menu unable to do anything. Terrible find another app

I used to love this app. It would update on my watch to show how many miles I had run in a month and now it shows nothing. When I go into the app, it shows my mileage, but not on my watch. Also when using the “indoor run” mine will randomly pause for no reason. If I wanted to just run without knowing my pace or miles, I wouldn’t use anything. I feel like if I have to run I always have to restart my watch so it tracks my miles. I learned hard way during a race. I had it set for “outdoor run” and after I had finished it didn’t show where I ran, it just showed the little circle thing as if I had ran indoors even though it said outdoor run. Not happy. Please fix and update this app. I will look for another accurate app to use of this continues.

Unable to access app as mobile verification does not allow me to change the country code from the default +86. I verified online, but still must do so again through the app.

I’m using this with an iPhone 7 and Watch Series 1. I like it a lot. The run tracking functionality is similar to other apps, but the real gem is the curated training plans and run guides. Those are very flexible, motivating and polished. It would be nice if there was more information about what to expect from the app on each run ( is the warm up included? Will it notify me of interval automatically?)

Why is my app defaulting to meters now and there has not been a recent update that I can see? It’s also not keeping the miles per minute accurately. Not happy!

I don’t use the app to be social and share my runs, but I like something to keep me accountable. Plus, it’s motivation enough to see myself racking up the miles each week and see improvement in my time. 👍🏻 I didn’t give it five stars because it doesn’t link up to my music sometimes and it also shuts down my phone in the middle of my run which is unfortunate because I run in the country and have had a cougar scare in the middle of my run and I couldn’t use my phone. I was too scared to go anywhere. Oh and I hate the encouraging words at the end of my run. I feel the are a little condescending. Lol! 🤣 so I shut them off.

Bought the Nike+ Apple Watch and the app never even works! It works properly maybe 20% of the time. Extremely frustrating. Guess I’ll just have to use Apple’s workout app on my NIKE EDITION WATCH

I love this app because it accurately tracks your runs, motivates you when you aren’t running, and congratulates you when you complete a run!

I have used NRC for about 5 years now, but I’ve decided to look for another app. I’m not sure if crashing is happening with the iPhone app, but the Apple Watch crashes when I’m trying to end runs. And it takes forever to load on the Watch before I start running.

This app is too buggy. It doesn’t capture all of my run at times, as well as not fully recording “achievements”. I expect better from Nike engineering.

My only (and major) problem with this app happens when I’m on long runs. I carry both my iPhone8 and Apple Watch3. Every time the watch activity tracker notification goes off to say I’ve met the (red ring) calorie activity ring goal. Instantly the Nike watch app crashes. I try to open it and it starts over from 0miles! Thankfully my phone is still tracking so I don’t lose the whole run. But the rest of my run will have no heart rate data also I have to look at my phone to see my stats. Is anyone else having this problem? I think the apple activity app is causing the problem, but their app doesn’t even allow reviews. Nike developers please help!!! Can you fix this?

Agree with Vince. Using Apple Watch series 2 with iPhone 8 all fully updated. Watch app takes interminably long to start doesn’t reflect runs started on phone and crashes during long runs and then starts tracking its own run. Ugh. Been through it so many times with Nike customer support who are very nice but limited in their ability to help. Isn’t the watch built for this very function? I hate to break down and get the series three but you got me Apple and Nike. Score another one for planned obsolescence. Hey Apple and Nike if you’re listening I’m gonna upgrade because i have over 3500 miles logged on your s***** app but I’m not happy and I’ll tell every single one of my friends and patients about it.

I’m so confused why when I have a run plan, but run the long run on a different day and click on start run, it won’t record it for that week so I don’t get credit for that long run for that week on my run plan. But if I record it as a normal run instead of clicking start on that specific run I can select it to be credited towards the long run in my plan

I really love the workouts and the fact that you can do personalized plans. For a free app, it is pretty great! The only things that stopped it from being rated five stars is that I wish it would sync with the training app so that I could do two plans at once. I also continuously have trouble with connecting to my Facebook and so I have been unable to connect with any of my friends to share my progress.

Only thing missing in my opinion is some kind of tracking for sprints. Measure distance and times in things like 100 meters, 60, and 40. Sometimes prematurely ends runs!

Easy to use

Locking the screen apparently means my run is over. This app also never connects to my watch when I am running with both my phone and watch. That has been a consistent problem, but the ending my run when I lock my phone is a new one. I would expect a company that makes as much money as Nike to be able to develop an app that actually works. Bugs, crashes, and issues galore.

This app got me into running, and it has all the history of my runs over the past several years. I really liked its functionality, but it is becoming unusable. Whenever I turn my VPN on, the app logs me out, and I need to re-enter my login information because there is no Face ID support; moreover, I cannot access my history via the Nike website anymore. It was nice to be able to view the information from a laptop. Time to find a new running app.

I start run on my phone app, then open it on my Apple Watch. My watch shows that I have completed the required run. I return to phone app and it doesn’t see that I went for a run. It also shows I have not completed my last week run although I did. It is really frustrating to have a goal accomplish the week and then see that your app didn’t even accepted your run. Disappointed 😕😕😕

Wow very disappointed. I was excited to use this app to help me get in shape but after working very h****** my first run I couldn’t figure out to save it. (Google said hit end work out button at bottom of the screen, but the bottom of my screen just said no music connected. Now every time I try and log into it, it just automatically starts another workout! This is pretty bad quality coming from Nike.

Really love the my plan feature and run. I’ve noticed it doesn’t sync my plan to Apple Watch which is a bummer. Easy enough work around but no voice prompts. Also indoor runs aren’t tracked accurately in terms of distance but I like it. Design is cool and run tracking is good to keep me motivated.

Cons: The apple watch up integration is poop. Constantly restarting or waiting for app to start workout. I also wish there was an easy way to export(api or other) for us data geeks. Pros: metrics are great and sharing with friends keeps me coming back

One star is only for the awesome feature of guided runs ... ONLY!!! I believe there are wonderful people behind the app idea, but who put these software engineers to place ... I don’t know. You want a nice run? You may be lucky and you will. The only thing that spoils my run is that this app is crashes every single time you launch it. And guess what? You have to restart your guided run again ... 7 times the app have crashed today ... and yes I have no idea how the Run with Paula have ended ... lots and lots of disrespect to those who are there to make this app work

El problema es que el audio no está sirviendo mucho al momentos de guiar el entrenamiento: - cuando inicia la carrera solo dice “do” imagino que debe ser “comenzando” - cuando entreno a intervalos no me avisa cuando el intervalo empieza o termina así que debo revisar el teléfono antes para ver cómo será el entrenamiento y hacer los intervalos yo sola. - no me avisa si estoy corriendo por debajo de la velocidad requerida. - el día de hoy mí iwatch me dijo que debía seguir el entrenamiento desde mi teléfono así que debí sacar mi telefono del bolso y correr con èl en la mano. - a veces finaliza el entrenamiento espontáneamente a media carrera y debo reiniciarla manualmente. - debo correr con el iwatch, el teléfono y los auriculares. Me gustaría solo tener que correr con los auriculares y el iwatch y poder hacer mi plan de entrenamiento que configure en el teléfono a cabalidad.

The latest update has caused the NRC on the Apple Watch to not work at all. When a run is started the screen is black and I am unable to pause or stop the workout. Hours later my watch starts talking “beginning workout”. Sometimes I can stop the workout which has tracked nothing, others it keeps going. Second issue is that I have a few workouts that are clearly logged from the Apple Watch and visible in the Apple activity ring app but will not show up on the iPhone app. This is disappointing when trying to tag training runs for a training plan on the phone.

Spotify doesn’t work with the app so I can’t control the music on my Apple Watch. I hope they find a way to track it with other exercises like the elliptical or stationary bike. Also I wish there was a way to track weight lifting workouts as well but I'm sure that will be in the future as technology gets better.

Only reason I stay with this app is I have over 2500 miles on it. Buttons are too close. Music selection is a pain. And GET RID OF KEVIN HART!!

Wish there was more guidance as we are going through each run ... not always sure why I’m supposed to be doing and can use the encouragement and count downs

Start a run on iPhone but nothing shows up on the watch. Watch app is also very slow and unresponsive.

I used this app long before I got the Nike Apple Watch - and the app worked great, tracked my location, distance and time - but with the Nike + Apple Watch it is pure garbage - it never syncs with the Apple Watch

Being new to running, this was an intimidating undertaking. Coach Bennett and his guided runs were so impactful to my self image and worth. I love this app!

Definitely my favorite app esp now with the guided runs. Not too thrilled about the pairing with the Apple Watch though.

App is helpful in not only tracking your run but motivation on those tired days.

Today (8/25) I was planning on running 9 miles. I ran my first half of the run. I then stopped to meet my wife and finish the last 3.5 miles with her. When all of a sudden my phone notified me that I finished my run and that I completed 2.25 miles. Which upset me a lot in total I ran 9.05 miles and I won’t get credit for it toward the 26.2 challenge! I love this app because it spurred me to begin running 5 years ago. I will be forever grateful to NRC for getting me started in running and helping me lose a lot of weight that made me so much healthier and helped me finish my first marathon in 2015 as well as a bunch of half marathons.

When I first got this app it was to set up my Apple Watch after my first run using this app I ditched my old set up and used this ever since it tells you if their is an event or a race near you that you can apply for or a technique you didn’t know about it even tracks your run so if you ever get lost you can just share your run to the local area and ask for a route out to a familiar place

Truly and Simply put, it's awesomeness personified. I don't know why any one run without this app. Amazing metrics too. It real is my favorite running app of all the apps out there that I’ve tried. Unequivocally the best.
