Dark Sky data is very inaccurate. Bad move by the developer to provide Dark Sky weather. It’s cheap data because it’s known to be highly inaccurate.

I’ve had this app since 2011. This helped me after being sent to Walter Reed after being wounded. This was my best relaxing tool and I used it every day. Everything in this is top notch by far. The support is the best I’ve seen. I had some problems that had nothing to do with them. Yet Josh helped me and took time to make sure everything worked to what I needed. You will not regret buying this. Everything they make is excellent quality and is as advertised and then some.

I love magic windows! I like that you can adjust the sound, the speed of the scenes, having the weather report available, switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius so easily and the fact that you can download and delete as you need depending on how much space you have on your device. The pictures to choose from are breathtaking. I will play it all night if I'm having trouble sleeping to have soothing to listen to. My favorite scene is the snowy mountain pines with the icy winds blowing. To top it off the tech-support is excellent :-)

I have totally enjoyed this. It help me not be so stressed at my work place. In the even it help me to relax. Even the scenes and the sounds really do help. I think anyone would enjoy. It's just tranquility.

Wonderful app for creating a relaxing atmosphere in my yoga studio. I can play it before and after class. Also nice for when I travel... Hook my iPad to the hotel TV and voila spa atmosphere. :)

Of all the clock apps, sleep sound apps, screen saver apps, wallpaper apps -- and creative apps without category -- my favorite by a country mile is magic window. It's a shame there are no free trials in the iOS App Store, because you really have to experience this app over a period of days and nights to appreciate it. For me, it's what my phone does when I'm sleeping, playing soothing sounds from real, specific places while showing the changing skies and surroundings over time: truly a window into a world where I go to relax. So friend, if you seek a clock, an alarm, a source of beautiful scenes or simply a great experience, this is the app that'll make you wonder, "Where have you been all my life?"

It's ok, but the on for my iMac is better. It needs improvements. The scenes don't change on their own like on my iMac.

I love this app, I do. It helps me fall asleep. But, I wish it was like music, so that I could play it while I'm on other things. Like, if I'm reading on my IPad, I wish I could have this play too.

This app was gr8 when released. 5yrs ago. There hasn't been 1 upd8 in a REALLY REALLY LONG TIME! LONG overdue. Needs the ability 2 run in the background. I would like 2 fall asleep 2 the sounds with headphones on @ the very least whilst the screen is locked/off.

If your using this from an iphone the resolution on the Apple TV isn't good. It won't fill the entire screen and in the settings there are no other choices from the standard resolution. Exactly why iTunes needs refund abilities. Bye bye $3.

First let me say that this is a very good and nice looking alarm clock But one of the reasons I purchased this app is for the sleep timer which does function ,But only turns off the background image ambient noise and puts the app in sleep mode The sleep timer will not play or turn off your selected music at a specific amount of time just the background image ambient noise The only way to play your music or song is by setting the alarm clock which will wake you by your music or by the the sound you choose I just think people should be aware of this If the sleep timer function isn't important to you then purchase this alarm clock app It's one 3 stars to me for others it may be 5

I have enjoyed this app since the beginning. For me it has been a lifesaver at the office. Plug in, turn it on and start my paper work. I have trained my coworkers to recognize the app and to leave me alone😊.

Love the scenes.

It's the Sunday March 9th. 2014 and we just transitioned to Daylight Savings Time last night. However, when I tried to set the alarm for 2:20am Monday morning it wouldn't allow me to do so. It would allow me to set either 1:20am or 3:20am. This is probably a programming issue. I would understand not being able to set 2:20am last night because at 2am the time changed to 3am. But, today (Sunday) I'm still unable to set my alarm for 2:20am Monday morning. Please fix. Ugh.

I've had this app. since my 3GS days & absolutely love it. One complaint, it burns up battery life 😼...

I feel the current app was impressively for 2010 but feels disappointing now. As previous critics have mentioned, the water time lapse of the waves looks too choppy and jittery and does not feel relaxing at all. There is not enough variety in the scenes and some of the chosen scenes are too pedestrian without enough visual interest. Did they have to shoot a wine country scene with a port-o-potty so prominently centered.

The photography scenes are amazing. Love the soothing ambient sounds, so relaxing

I've used this app since its beginnings and it remains my favorite. It is consistently used every night and faithfully follows me on vacation. Also, the customer service is as excellent as the product. You won't be disappointed with this one, it's a winner.

I love this app. It's absolutely gorgeous. I wish it existed for the android as well as the iPhone.

Amazingly beautiful app, but while it says it has alarm, can't find it and have clicked on everything and am running latest version, so I keep using Nightstand Central, which lets you use your own pics, and your own music for alarms, but wish this one had alarm.

Even with the Apple iOS 7 / iOS 8 non-design requirements, Magic Windows SHINES! Thank you. This developer also makes Living Earth, another "must have" app. I spent the additional $10 for all the scenes and it is well worth the cost. I've returned to my iPad 1 for everyday use as the most the iPad original apps have design and function. So, Magic Windows is what this iPad 2 is mostly used for now. All the scenes with the $10 purchase will fill your iPad with several gigabytes. You can delete, and reinstall them though. Like another reviewer says, the Magic Window icon is boring ...could you add design to it? It is easy to overlook it! : )

Please be aware (unlike the Mac version) this app does not offer dynamic wallpaper in iOS. Big misunderstanding on my part.

But it would appear the developer is not around anymore. Needs to be able to play in the background

The best live app ever

First you have to pay for the App which comes with a few scenes. They remain the same day after day. So no real time although it seems so. The motion is jarring. Secondly they offer additional scenes for very high prices. A nice way to rip off people.

A note to the developers: this is a great app, one I would continue to invest in as more scenes are available. But a pop-up message on my iPad today alerted me to the fact that Magic Window has not been updated in a LONG time - almost two years. Please get on top of this!!!

One of our everyday apps. Have owned many alarm clocks, and none have ever looked this good, or were on a device that did so much. Our thanks to the authors for allowing us to get more out of our investment.

I don't understand all the raves about this app. It shows minimally shifting scenes with a looping soundtrack, that's it. I paid $3 and don't think it's worth more than $1. Go look out your window; it's free and you probably never do it.

This app is so easy to use and gives me a feeling of peace and tranquility whenever I need it. It's relaxing and enchanting and I just love it. Highly recommend purchasing all the scenes ...it's a very good buy and you will wanna see em all. Enjoy!

For someone who lives in a cruise ship cabin with no window, this is heaven sent! I absolutely love this app and have been using it for years! Please could you remove the clock from the night mode, the setting is stuck. I want to enjoy the beautiful scene without stressing over the time. Thank you!!

Very relaxing, I enjoy falling asleep to the sounds and the wake up alarm sounds are great. I don't need a horrible u*** sound to get up. A soothing wind chime does just fine. Thanks much .

Great for naps. Good white sound and a timer to keep me from napping too long. Very useful.

Love it! Can't take my eyes off it! This could be a problem if you have anything to DO! My only change would be able to have the night clock more transparent or smaller for those of us that like a dark room at night. The rest of the multi-control capabilities are great! I look forward to more scenes to expand my collection!

Very beautiful and relaxing. Just turn it on prop it on your desk and keep it there. Your worries will go away, maybe. But at least you have something pretty to look at if you're feeling cranky.

I totally love this app! I have it on my Apple TV all the time. I have two Apple TVs one in the living room and one in the bedroom, Right now when it's cold out I have the magic fireplace on both. And I love the flickering sounds of the flames, everyone that comes to my house enjoys the magic fireplace. In the summertime when it's not cold I have the winter scenes or nature scenes or city scenes on, and I choose different kinds of sounds I want to go with it, I just love these apps!

Phenomenal app. Been enjoying it for many years. Being from New York city I’d love to see updated nightime NY Cityscapes. The Freedom Tower in lower Manhattan is now finished, views including the statue of liberty and the east river bridges would be great. Thank you.... Pete

I love this app ever since I purchased it. It is one of the very apps which I enjoy and find that it was one of the greatest apps I have. I would recommend it to anyone that want to enjoy beauty and nature and wonderful places to visit without really having to go there when you can’t at the time. Continue to create apps and continue to offer them whereby we can share in your gift of creations.

I seriously cannot function without this app. Not only do I get accurate day/time display, with alarm, but beautiful scenery with or without peaceful sound. I also get updates on weather conditions in my area which I check to plan my daily activities. Very creative and soooo functional!!! Thank you to all the smart folks that created this application !!!!
