Fruits and veggies that I know are 0 SmartPoints come up as points. A fresh plum is coming up as 4 SmartPoints. Also, eggs should be 0 points. They come up as 2 each. That’s frustrating. System needs to be updated. Other than that, I love using the barcode to scan what I’m eating and instantly know how many points it is.

This app does what it needs to do but could use a facelift with regards to the interface. Also, would like to see predictive text and other measurements options when you select a food. It’s time consuming if you’re trying to figure out how many tablespoons are in a cup when the only serving size option it gives you is a cup.

My friend told me about this app recently and said it was great. For just a few dollars he said he had purchased access to the guides that make it easy to track your points on a consistent basis. I decided to download it and was disappointed to see that had changed. Was annoyed to see they had updated this to now be an ongoing subscription based app so you have to pay a monthly fee to gain and keep access to these features. Go back to the old format!

Love the app and great support team. I was having trouble logging in and was able to have customer service quickly get back with me.

As a breastfeeding mom, my weight is all over the place due to retained water/breastmilk. It would make my weight loss journey so much less stressful if I could track my measurements AND my weight. Because unfortunately my weight is never accurate. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE

Please!!!! Add some kind of app for computers. I don’t have iPad!!! Easier to work on a computer!!!

With iOS 12, this app is unusable; it doesn’t respond to input at all.

I lost 114 lbs on weight watchers years ago but when I got out of the free lifetime weight range I could no longer afford the monthly fee so I stopped going then I gained back a bunch of weight. I saw this app advertised on Facebook and it looked so much like WW I downloaded it and the pro version is only 2.99 a month so I got it and so far I just love the app because it’s so similar to what I was used to before! The word needs to get out about this app it’s amazing!

It was a one time fee which was great. Made it way better than WW. Then they added guides that you had to pay for. Okay cool I bought a few of the guides. Now they upgraded and the guides are locked I can’t restore purchases and I’m not paying a monthly fee. That’s ridiculous.

Decided to try ibites to replace the WW app, however there are are too many inconsistencies between the point systems. Wish I had not paid for pro, since it’s an annual fee instead if a monthly fee. Now I’m stuck with this for a year.

What is going on?!?!?! App not working!!! Fix it please

In 2014 I downloaded the original version of this app in titled “iTrackbytes” The app saved me a ton of money, a ton a time, And gave me the gift of losing a ton of weight 55 pounds to be exact down to my perfect to goal and thinner than I was in high school. After some major life changes and some medical issues I have managed to put on about 20 pounds of that again and feel it every day as of today I am again beginning my journey with my new version of my savior – – I hope it is a five star upgrade.

It can help lose weight

Points are not accurate in any of the guides. Flex tracker doesn’t accurately track weekly points. Scanner produces inaccurate points.

Overall, I like the app but would really like it if i could sync it with my Apple Watch to track my steps! Also, not crazy about how it is setup and looks...a more modern approach would be good!

I love the app but it hasn’t worked for me in a few days. It freezes up and I can’t do anything. I don’t know if it’s because I’m on the free version but unfortunately I wish there was an option where I can pay monthly for the pro instead of one lump sum. Not everybody is set up where they can do it like that. Hopefully one day they will set it up where we can do a monthly payment to upgrade to the pro version. I’m sure I’m not alone in hoping this. But hopefully this issue is fixed so I can use my app again.

None of the guides have accurate points for Freestyle. The guides are the same guides as the older Smart Points. You only have access to individual zero point foods in the pocket guide. The tracker won’t track weekly points correctly if you have your activity points set to use for Freestyle either. Developer refuses to even acknowledge that these are glitches. Just respond with “this app is not the same as Weight Watchers”. Well yeah, I could have told you that.

Since the upgrade I can’t do anything on the app. Why fix something that was not broken. Very disappointed.

I just downloaded this app and it won’t let you do anything unless you pay for it. I belong to weight watchers and was looking for some different things but you have to pay for it. Very misleading.

Update: I continue to use the tracker. Have tried others but always come back to this tracker. Really is the best available. This has been the best tracker I have ever used. Makes more much more compliant and love the points system. Would like the option to log by meal category though (breakfast, snack, lunch etc.). The scanner is excellent. Works quickly and accurately. Thanks for the app.

What a disappointment! Wanted to use this to track calories....database doesn’t even have a basic food....bananas! How could this be? They do have mashed and powdered banana calories. Yea, Who regularly eats powdered and mashed bananas? This app is lame.

I never got to use the app: during sign up, it will accept my gender and birthday - BUT NOTHING ELSE! No weight, target weight or my body height. Extremely frustrating to be stuck on the FIRST SCREEN of this app. No preview option, no way to correct the data later. Just: full block. Why?

I purchased the upgrade to be able to access the new WW Flex point plan. Although my points adjusted to the new plan, sadly zero point foods are not appearing that way. For instance seafood is no zero, but when I track fresh shrimp or salmon it has a points value. Same with fruits and veggies. It’s hard to trust that this database is accurate.

Every time I try to use the app, it freezes up. I have not been able to do anything with the app. Why would I upgrade if the free version is useless.

8/11/18: New user here. I’m getting used to moving my way around the app. These issues have popped up: 1. I’m having issues with my Fitbit data showing in my daily log. Yesterday it synced just fine; today, it’s not showing up on my log at all. I don’t want to disconnect and then reconnect- doesn’t that erase my past Fitbit history (I want to track my usage)? 2. Can the scanner stay open so I can scan items one after another? It’d be great to be be able to scan items one after the other to see which one has the least Bites (ex. when grocery shopping). After a scan, it’d be nice to have options: Track or Scan Again or Add to Favorites. Right now in order to scan multiple items, it’s very clunky and time consuming.

This app has made weight loss easy for me for many years. Recently Apple sabotaged it for me with iOS 11 update due to my having an iPhone 6s. Apple didn’t care to help but iTrackBites group was thoughtful and concerned. Grateful for the 4 years I had with this app and hope I can return to it when I upgrade my phone.

Left WW due to 13lb weight gain cause of Freestyle. This gives you many program options like the old WW programs. I always did great on those and this is soooo much cheaper! Give it a try!!!

Guys help me out here I’m having issues with the app after I downloaded 5.9.2. Please let know if you can do a minimal update to fix bugs in this patch. It’s heartbreaking that the app doesn’t work I’ve been using it for about 5 weeks now!

The new update means the app no longer works for me.

They have that they sync with Apple health. The only thing they sync is your weight. No steps, no activity, nothing else. I bought hoping to sync with health as I use several workout apps and have an Apple Watch. Their response, Install the the Fitbit app even if you don’t have a fitbit. If I wanted to use the Fitbit app I’d buy a Fitbit. What a waste of money going to ask for a refund. Don’t say you sync with health if you don’t!!!! Misleading advertising

The app would be easier to use and more organized if there were an option to organize my day into separate meals. I don’t like that it’s just all listed in one place. Like the weight watchers app, if it were separated into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, that would be easier to keep up with. Otherwise, I love the app, and especially love that I can choose which plan I want to use.

Now they are forcing you into monthly fees when I had to pay for each individual app prior which was over 30+ dollars. This is now a complete waste because I lost some features due to this. This new schema is a ripe off. I had everything they are selling except smart bites prior to this without the monthly fee. The items I scan have incorrect calories and there is no way to change it without manually entering everything. They do not keep there barcode items up to date. Update: I gave them an additional star as their barcode scanner actually works.

I think it so s***** that you can’t use your Fitbit unless you pay money. I paid enough money to get my FITBIT. This is ridiculous. It should be available even on the free app.

I got this app back and January and absolutely loved it. A few weeks ago, it completely stopped working. I’ve tried turning my phone off and back on, deleting and re-downloading the app, etc. Nothing has worked. I miss being able to track my points!!

THE APP IS FROZEN It’s been 13 days since I reached out to customer support for the app about my problem (app frozen). I’ve had f/u email from Arlene but nothing now since July 16th. I’ve reset my phone, reset my app password, turned my phone on and off, deleted and re-downloaded the app, and nothing has corrected this problem. My emails in f/u have not resulted in further communication. I am very disappointed as I paid for the app and all of the bundles that are add ons (snacks, beer, etc). It’s upsetting that it looks like I’m going to have to go back to the very expensive monthly cost of Weight Watchers if I’m going to maintain my diet plan. My review on apple is currently 1 star when it had been 5 and it will remain that way. Very disappointed. I’m glad that others are not having this problem but I’ve honestly done everything I can and my app is frozen. My iOS and the app are up to date and I’m using an iPhone 6S Plus. I find it hard to believe that I’m the only one having this issue.

Easy to use & configure. Use it on the daily.

Wish it logged my FitBit workouts automatically, instead of just steps.

My app was fine till yesterday. Suddenly, despite restarting my device and making sure everything is updated it has stoped working. I am worried if I delete it and reinstall I will have to repurchase everything. Can’t contact the developers through app support so I am at a loss.

I purchased this app about a year ago. It was recommended by a friend who was doing weight watchers, she loved it! I ended up buying this app as a bundle with iWatchBites, and restaurants guide for $4.99. I loved it, I could even sync my fit bit activity with the app, it was great! So much cheaper then the weight watchers app and just as good, if not better! Now, I don’t know what happened but I can longer sync my fit bit and I can’t use my restaurants guide or iWatchBites without upgrading to the Pro version for $2.99/month?!? I’ve already paid for all those apps and I can’t even use them now!

App hasn’t been working and I get no help they tell me to shut my phone off and turn back on. Not able to track or scan. Totally froze.

I’ve had the app for years. I bought the guides and bundles and have loved chatting in the community. They have made updates where you can upgrade to Pro and do the most current WW plan. They stated though that you didn’t have to upgrade and pay the subscription fee if you don’t want to do the newer plan. They also said we didn’t have to upgrade to post in the community. I noticed a few weeks ago I was no longer able to post. I sent a support email June 23rd saying “I can’t post anymore. I’ve been a member for years. I don’t have to pay 39 now to post do I?” They responded several others had the same issue and it will be fixed in an update. It was updated and still didn’t work. I emailed them again and this time a woman responded that you now have to pay 39 to upgrade to pro to post in the community” When I asked in a Facebook group a bunch of people said they never upgraded and could still post. So I give up. I’m not paying 39 after having bought the apps and guides years ago. I’m not interested in the newer plan.

I hate the new plan WW Points Plus I was very successful with the old plan and this app allows me to track that way. By the way the community is amazing very supportive and active!

This is a great app to use if you like following one of the older WW plans! And their is an amazing supportive group on Facebook for all the users! Good luck to everyone using this on their weight loss journey!

This app is absolutely wonderful however, it is missing one or two capability’s and that is to sync my Fitbit so I know how many activity points I'm earning! Also, giving me the option to put my meals in the appropriate category! If it did these things this app would be a five star all day!! I do points plus I hate smart points and for some reason weight watchers took pp away from us so I have found this basically free app and I may never go back to weight watcher apps at this point if iTrackBites figures out how to let us sync our trackers and categorize our food!

I love the app use it everyday it’s so easy!! I do with that I could imput the activity from my Apple Watch to it!!! (That would be great future update 😉, I see your working on it for Fitbit)

I highly recommend it for the people like me who did not like freestyle on WW. This app gives you the options to work with whatever program works for you!

The ONLY thing this app is missing is the ability to sync with my iWatch. Other than that, it is the perfect solution for those who loved a former “version” of a weight loss platform that worked for them. This doesn’t require you to follow the newest and greatest plan available but whatever system you like best. Kudos iTrackBites!

The team at a track bites continue to update the app without downgrading its functionality. Amazing! My wife and I use the app and have lost a combined total of 32 pounds. In addition, my sugar is at 94!!!!!!

To upgrade to pro costs $35.99 dollars now!!! I thought it was only 12 dollars a year it says the cost will be 12 a year and will end on the 30th of June! I already purchased this app and spent $7 dollars and I have record to show this! I was ok with $12 a year but since I was already a member why am I being over charged. I sent them email and they won’t contact me or refund me difference and 12 dollars yr I am not part of. If I bought the app spent 7 dollars extra then I should be considered a member and given a discount!!! I may have to contact Apple and get full refund because this app developer will not work with you!!!

I just started using this App so I can follow WW pts+. Just for curiosity I scanned & and used the calculator to see if the pts would give the same point value. To my surprise THE POINT VALUE WAS DIFFERENT. This is very disappointing. Now I feel I have to use the Smart Points calculator for me to get the most accurate points value.

They try to boast that they are the ONLY app to do a bunch of things, and the first one to do them because they've supposedly been around 7 years. PLEASE look into the ACTUAL original apps, like "Fitbit" and "My Fitness Pal" (and if you're watching carbs I suggest the "cronometer" food tracking app -which is made to be used with low caeb diets - synced with the "Fitbit app," that is the best and most accurate way of tracking health, activity and nutrition I've ever seen) these apps do all these things, AND do them better, AND have a MUCH friendlier user interface AND DON'T CHARGE YOU for all the features this app does, they have them for free. Don't buy into this bull from this shi**y app x

I wanted an EASY way to track carbs & calories. This app is ok as long as you eat common things. If you need to make your own meals it is extra! To hook with FitBit is extra. Etc etc.

I like the app, but customer service is highly lacking. Very disappointed!

Paid early for many addons, now features that have been requested for years, like fitbit sync are behind a subscription. Dont waste your time.

Update: this app now links with Fitbit so it's the ultimate package. Any "WW" plan can be used. It remembers recent foods and is easy to use. Read the how to guide in the chat area as you learn to use it.

I’ve been using the app for a few months and have enjoyed it and especially am happy that I’m seeing results. I was excited that Fitbit would be added on but now that it has been, I won’t be adding it because of the ridiculous price! $12/yearly?! Yes, that’s only $1 per month but on all other apps I have used, the Fitbit companion has always been free! I’m truly disappointed by this.

THANK YOU for integrating Fitbit. It was the one missing piece to your app. The $12 annual fee is well worth it for me. It truly helps me add the “move more” part of weight loss and maintenance! Thanks again! I saw on your website that syncing to a Fitbit is coming spring 2018. That’s the ONLY missing link to this app. I really wish my activity would automatically sync. I’d even pay for that! Otherwise great app.

Liked the old way where I could add an item as a Favorites while scanning or manually-creating

I was looking for an app similar to Weight Watchers. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this app instead. In 2 weeks I have lost 6 pounds. I have never felt hungry or deprived. If I splurge on something, I know that I will have to cut back at another meal. I have read that journaling the foods you eat is a great way to lose weight. This app makes journaling so much easier(especially with the barcode reader). The only downside is that it doesn’t give you a graph for monitoring your weight loss(hint hint). Can’t wait to see where I am at in 2 weeks.

Great way to follow Weight Watchers without having to subscribe to (and pay monthly for) their app. Very responsive to customer inquiries, too! Seems like a really good company. Love this app. 👍

I love this app! Weight watchers points plus worked so well for me. I’m so happy I found a way to continue to do that weight loss plan and also experiment with some of the other plans as well. Thanks again!

I have purchased the add ons and recently did a year subscription so I could use the flex plan. It is useless I can’t use the recipe builder or many other features accurately with the flex plan. I have sent four different emails requesting a refund as it is not working correctly. Do not buy, they don’t respond to questions or concerns with any answers.

I am an avid weight watcher and loved Weight Watcher’s smart point system! When they changed to the freestyle plan, I was truly disappointed. I am so grateful to find this app!!! After a few days I figured everything out, and it was easy to navigate! I highly recommend itrackbites!!!

This app has helped me keep up with food intake and points, without the hassle of membership fees. Ten pounds lighter and still tracking. Love it!

Bought as an alternative to weight watchers, based on pricing. Only to find out point values are not interchangeable. Instructions to cancel subscription were useless - option is not listed in Settings menu in the app, as listed in AppleID subscription details. Had to contact Apple for refund.

I use to have Weight Watchers, however, it got too expensive at almost $20 a month. This app is a great substitute, with their plus program only being $2.99 a month. Regardless, I only have the normal program (without paying money) and it calculates its points based off of the things WW does. So, it is very affordable.

I used WW for a month and cringed every time that $20 bill hit each month for a program that I’m not always using. For less than two months of WW I can have this year round. Thank you for making weight loss affordable!!

When are you going to update the foods that should be zero points, like eggs? Weight Watchers did this some time ago.

I switched from Weight Watchers to this app to save some money. NONE of the points are accurate. I was using the freestyle program- everything was showing wrong. Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets should be 1 point- they were coming up as 5 on this app, fruit cup- should be 0, 3 points here- bbq sauce, should be 1 or 2 points- showing up 0. What’s the point of paying for a app that doesn’t work?

Been using for about 1 week and I have been pleased with the results. I joined the Flex Bites Pro for $35.99 a year. This tracking device is very similar to another well known app and works in very similar fashion. There are a few different point values for food and a few quirks that have yet to be worked out. Some of the restaurants on the list are different than the other system, but it’s a matter of adjusting. The recipe list is not as extensive. This tool is hard to pass up for $2.99 a month when you only need a tracker. If you know your foods, have a system and just need a good tracker then this is a good option.

********update******** The app has been updated since my original review and it has definitely improved. I just canceled my weight watchers subscription yet again to try out iTrackBites version of freestyle which is called flex. I signed up for the monthly subscription to unlock flex and it stated there are over 200 zero “bites” foods now available. I know what they are since I recently had them on the weight watchers app, but yet again they are not available as zero bites foods on the list. How can you follow the freestyle with less allotted bites but not change the bites values in the system?! I've been on and off using this app for about almost two years. I recently started back up last week and I realized why I stopped using it in the first place. Now don't get me wrong because this is a great substitute for paying monthly for the weight watchers app, but it gets to be tedious when you have to create a new food for something as simple as green tea. I think the app needs a wider variety of foods available in the pocket guide to make for simple searches along with an updated restaurant guide.

Great! I used the free version for a while and decided to upgrade. I have used it for about a year. It has had some glitches but when I reported the problems they have worked hard to fix them. I got my whole family to use It!

My friend pays for the actual weight watchers app and we went to carvel and for a junior soft serve , CarvelLite vanilla, it is 9 points. I took the nutritional info from the carvel pamphlet and entered it into this app and it only calculated it to be 5pts. (The nutrition pamphlet and the real weight watchers app we’re identical) I decided to check other food items as well and this app is 1-3 points less than weight watchers. I won’t be using this anymore.

I am not clear on how this app works. I am trying to track food and I keep getting a message that everything is locked and it looks like I have to pay?? What can you do on this app under “free” features?

They are either misleading us or the new system is very buggy. Either way I really regret purchasing a pro plan :(

I think this is a solid app, I just wish meals were separated vs all together in a list. For example breakfast, lunch, etc.

When you purchase the pro for $2.99 a month you need to be aware that they charge your credit card for the entire year. That was NOT disclosed upfront.

This app is absolutely amazing. I just started today and I already upgraded to the pro since there is more features like the recipe builder and searching for the foods those are the two that I really need. I just love how many options there is for all of this great app thank you. But you can still use the community with the free version cause I was able to before I upgraded 3 days ago.

Don’t really have anything to say about this new version except that the “PRO” icon is still setting on the home page like a car dealership sign. Pathetic. There are actually quite a few articles on apps like these.

I love the iTrackBites app. I have lost 20 pounds in 13 weeks without feeling hungry or deprived. My husband has lost too, but I’ll let him write his own review ;) I’ve never been on Weight Watchers, but from what I understand this works in a similar fashion. If I know in advance what I’ll be eating, I put it in my tracker and adjust serving sizes so that my points come out right and then I only eat that much. It’s very simple and keeps me mindful of my portion sizes. This is the best $12 I’ve spent in a long time. I can see no reason why I won’t stick to this program.

The basic app is great-you can do your WW program for little cost. I made the mistake of upgrading to get the new Free Choice program called flex and it is a waste of money. You can put in free points like beans but when you scan a free item, it has the old points. You can just customize in the regular app and add the free items with a zero point. In other words, the annual subscription which automatically renews (this yr they offer a discount but who knows what it will cost next yr) adds nothing new. And once you click install, you can’t refund even if you immediately realize the app is a waste. Sorry iTracks, I was a real devoted fan until this upgrade!

The premise of this app was always paid add-ons to an otherwise free app if you just wanted the basic weight loss plan itself. All of the weight loss programs on here are free. I waited and waited for the new 2018 changes, and when they finally came they were part of the paid add-ons instead of being a base part of the app like the rest were. No thanks. After waiting this long for what I expected to be included, then have the bait and switch, I’d rather pay Weight Watchers the 4x amount they charge than give iTackBites a dime. If I had known up front they were planning to charge for the program, and deviate from the current format of the plans being free, I wouldn’t be so behind on my diet now... I could have been using the WW app all this time instead of holding out for this new feature.

This app is good in theory but foods are way too difficult to find in order to track. Found myself having to create nearly every food I ate. I need something easier to use with my busy lifestyle. Because of this I deleted the app.

Anyone having a problem with the upgrade? Mine didn’t work.

The new version keeps all the great old stuff, with the option to upgrade to get even more new features.

I was thrilled to find an app that was similar to the old weight watchers plan. I prefer the old points method. This works great for that. So far the camera and other guides are working together nicely. I had some issues getting access to the bundle I previously purchased. They worked with me until it was fully restored.

Great app and way cheaper than WW

If you choose to upgrade they charge you way more than the price they advertise! You are forced into paying for a YEAR. And they don’t respond to customer service complaints. How is this even allowed on the App Store? ***UPDATE/RESPONSE*** I did contact support and they said to contact iTunes support, but iTunes suggests I contact the developer because it is billed through a third-party, not iTunes... I responded saying this and have not yet gotten an email back. For what it’s worth, the yearly fee must have not been made clear or in tiny print* because I absolutely would not have purchased it. Whatever it is, if you can ONLY purchase a $35.99 12-month subscription and not a single month, why don’t you just be up front and list the price as $35.99 rather than $2.99?! I rarely purchase apps. in the first place and when I do, if it is a subscription I would only purchase after having tried it. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I am updating to a 4, based solely on the fact it took roughly 2 months to fix the issue. Outside of that it has been great, I am down over 15 lbs with minimal effort on my end.

For the price, a great weight loss companion! The only request I have is, better syncing with activity. I have my Apple Watch connected as well as Nike+, and I still have to manually input my daily activity (which can become cumbersome at times). I’d like to see that fixed so I’m not putting in more work (which can dissuade me from using the app) when I want to account for my activity. Pros include, a large database of food and restaurants, daily diary, daily health checks, easy input, accurate barcode scanner.

Purchased the pro app and it doesn’t work. Acts like I didn’t just spend $30 on it. No phone number to call. Submitted 2 help tickets but when I try and log in to see them, it says access denied. That’s some fishy stuff. Updated 4/12- I got a refund from Apple long ago. I wasn’t about to pay for an app that I literally could not use until you guys got around to fixing the issue. Seems like some people waited months. Terrible customer service on your part.

I prefer Weight Watchers Points Plus to the current program. This app allows me to track in that program. I do wish it separated meals.

This app is worthless unless you buy all the in app purchases!!! Not worth it and frankly weight watchers is less expensive!!! What a joke and disappointing! I want my money back!!

First of all, I love the design. It’s colorful and very pleasant to look at. I appreciate being able to choose which weight loss plan I want to use. You can choose, calories, weight watchers plus, weight watchers smart points or classic. I used to use fitness pal, but this layout is much better. Very user friendly. Worth the fee.

I downloaded this app because I don’t like the new WW plan. I’m really liking having the freedom to do Pointsplus via this app:) I do find the tracking system a little less convenient than the WW app but not in a way that bothers me~ all in all I’m very happy with the app!

This app is amazing and pretty much on target with Weight Watcher's point systems. I like the flexibility in choosing which point system that works for me, the calculation of daily points and daily deduction totals along with activity points. This all works well for me. The only fall back I personally see it can be difficult in finding food point values. The bar scan option is great but have found some foods not available and have been asked to fill in the blank fields. It would be easier if the in-app purchase was one bundle or purchase each one individually. All in all I find this app very helpful.

I'm finally losing weight thanks to this app. I did have to eat more than the daily and weekly points when I first started but still lost 5lbs within 10 days! After about 2 weeks I'm not getting as hungry on the 30 points I get daily. Thanks to the creators of this app you are changing many lives without price gouging!!!

I love this app! It works for everything I need! And it's relatively easy to log everything. No big fees, and no monthly plans like WW! You do have to purchase other features, but it's still functional without them. My favorite add on is the recipe builder. I make so many of my own meals, and so to be able to add all the ingredients and it tell me how much per serving.. it's amazing to me! :) I do hope on a future update we can connect it to the fitbit app, but either way I love it! :)

App should be able to sync with Apple Health! Also we should be able to add "steps" as an activity, not just walking.

This app is amazing and I never feel deprived! I’ve lost 12.4 pounds in a course of 6 weeks so far (without exercise but will start up a routine as soon as I’m over my sickness). This has been the only thing I’ve actually been able to stick with and not fail! Ok so a couple things imo that need to be tweaked (I’m not complaining just a little friendly advice 😊) 1.) Editing your comments- When u post a comment u can’t go back and fix it so u have to post a whole new comment. 2.) Favorites/Recently Tracked Items- Sometimes a few of my favorites and/or recently tracked items disappear and I have to re log them again. Could u make an option to make it so u can choose to keep recently tracked items unlimited so it saves everything? Or maybe u can do like up to 20 items, 50 items unlimited etc? (I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense lol)

Can’t find things and scan find things only sometimes. Better off just getting calorie counter or paying for weight watcher. This was such a hassle just to track food. I have to create a food new one every time i want to track it.

This app saved me weight watchers changed to freestyle and my diet went into a tail spin then a friend told me about this app and it saved me made me feel in control again and it’s even better easy to find foods. Love love love and thank you.

After using this for sometime since leaving bc Freestyle wasn’t a good program for me I upgraded to latest. Despite originality paying for app, only $3.99 admittedly, the upgrade took away features like community and USDA food list. The list was cumbersome but useful. I now switched to a more user friendly free app and am counting calories.

The update took away the healthy food tracker and the major push is to lock you into a monthly payment. I’ve used it for years now but sadly deleted it today.

I really haven’t had a chance to seriously use this app. It’s the day after Christmas and I’ve got more partying to do. Anyway I upgraded to Pro status at a cost of $2.99 per month. Instantly the full cost of the subscription, $35.99 was billed to iTunes and paid from my PayPal account. Moments later I tried to cancel the subscription only to find that the purchase is not eligible for refund. So, I said all that to say, don’t opt for “Pro”, unless you’re really serious about taking full advantage of the app. I was only able to unsubscribe to prevent auto renewal next year. I’m giving the app three stars because it’s very similar to the WW app which I loved.

Everything previously purchased is gone. I didn’t use the app much but paid for the extra features to be able to find restaurant food and other foods... and paid for the app itself! HORRIBLE!

New version took away my restaurants. Not sure if I need a monthly pro subscription to get it back or what. Changed point values of some of the foods in my favorites. Activity favorites I left blank duration now has false durations pre entered that I have to back space to delete. Activity counts up as I earn but does not count down as I spend. It’s so “organized” that now its Way harder to use more taps to do the same things I used to do. Alpha scroll is gone. Fixed something that was not broken. Should have made this a separate opt-in app with clearly explained consequences and advantages of moving away from original app. Update: I really want to give 5 stars, as this app has helped improve my health for several years. But as I use this new version for the past few days more problems I find. I cannot change serving size on the fly in multiple add. Items can spontaneously disappear during multi add. I wish I had not updated especially now during the holidays when I most need reliable tracking. I will change this review if developer improves things in coming releases. But this is the most expensive app I ever purchased including add-ons, so I am reluctant to cut much slack. Update 2: bfast/lunch/dinner appears to be based on time of day so if I add bites at different times the organization gets messed up. One linear list as before is better.

I miss the old version. I had been using Classic Bites for years and now all the values have changed and the the foods I’m used to have higher points! Also, I have to keep re-synching my previously purchased restaurant portion. Also, I can no longer copy items from day to day. Time to search for a replacement. So sad. Used to be a great app. :( Update: i have to “restore purchases” every time i restart the app!! Why am i still using this? Also, same item scanned back to back had two different classic point values!

I have used previous versions for a couple of years. The recent update made a mess out of a perfectly good app. Logging entries takes extra steps, you can’t apparently assign bites to a food manually and previous bite values have changed. So now I have to spend time finding a new food logging program.

I love this app, this app has helped me get healthy and live happy and a bonus a save on money, something i struggle with ! Thank you for caring for peoples healthy choices !

I was a member of WW for a couple of years and they started changing the programs and I started putting the weight back on. Just recently found this program and have averaged a little over 3 lbs per week for the last seven weeks. So easy to use.

Earlier I had complained that the app wouldn’t work because it was getting an “inaccurate” internet connection. Restarted my phone and it fixed everything. And the app update is great (If i say so myself). I saw the button to restore purchases in the settings so I pressed it. I still haven’t found the spot to search restaurants but I’m sure I’ll find it somewhere. It reminds me of the old ww app!

I updated several apps yesterday including iTrackBites, which I’ve used for about a year and recently paid for an upgrade to the Pro version. Over several months, I had logged a lot of favorite foods including several custom favorites on which I spent significant time researching nutritional information. Yesterday’s iTrackBites “upgrade” wiped out EVERYTHING: my favorites, history of points, weight loss, and more. I’ve poked around in the new interface to see if there’s a way to retrieve my lost information, but nothing seems to work. The app’s online FAQ page was no help at all. Bottom line: do NOT update this app unless you’re prepared to start all over.

They completely overhauled this...is now just like the weight watchers current app ...so disappointed... you have to become a pro member & pay for it to look foods up unless you want to track them everyday- deleting it...

This new update is HORRIBLE! I’ve had this app before all of the “improvements” for close to 3 years now and I’m so unhappy with the glitches in the new user experience. I paid for the extras when I got the app years ago and now nothing works properly!!! So frustrated, I will be looking for a new way to track

The latest update kept all of the bugs and inaccuracies of the old version, made them prettier, and made the rest of the app useless. Please don’t waste your money on this app.

Have used and loved this app for years...but this latest update is AWFUL! Difficult to use, hard time finding what I need. Loved the food list that used to be readily accessible. Now if I want to log an apple I have to search through the 50+ ones listed. Bring back the easy of use in the old version. ASAP

**Update: Changing my 5 stars to 1. This latest update is complete garbage! I find myself not even tracking because it is now so tedious and time consuming. Not to mention nothing works correctly, the points are all wrong, I lost all of my saved recipes, I can no longer access the community. The list goes on. Change it back! No one likes it. It wasn’t broken so why even mess with it?** I started using iTrackBites in November of 2017. I’m down over 90lbs as of today! It really does work as long as you put in the effort. I had done WW in the past but always left because the cost was just too much for me. This is an amazing alternative. It takes a little playing with and tweaking to figure out all of the details, but so worth the few dollars that it costs. ITrackBites was literally a life saver for me. I feel and look amazing because of it.

I used to love this app, but tried going back to using it after a while and it is completely different. Tons of options are gone, like choosing which weight watchers plan you are using. I also think it is unfair and am trying to find a way to right the fact that I paid for things like the recipe builder. This is no longer available to me unless I pay the monthly fee for the pro version. How is this legal when I paid extra to buy this feature along with others?!

I loved this app! It was so easy to use and helped me keep on track. The most recent update is cumbersome. So much different clicking and the perks that I had are now gone. I used to be able to record restaurant food but now I have to pay for the pro status. They took a part that was already there and removed it. That’s lousy.

I purchased this app along with the restaurant guide when I had the iPhone 6s. I was able to search for, and successfully locate any food item. I upgraded to the iPhone XS yesterday, and I am extremely disappointed. I cant find ANYTHING (even a slice of mozzarella) without being encouraged to purchase the Pro version. PLUS, I lost all the progress I made (I tracked my weight daily). Please return this app to its previous form.

I’m basically very happy with the app, however I’m unable to find the elliptical and arc trainer activities. I also am unable to change my option for weight loss (lbs. per week). Also how do activity points work? Are they used like the additional weekly points?

So glad I looked farther than WW for an online diet app! The only reason not 5 star rating is because it’s not perfect....mind I don’t believe any plan is perfect so there you go, my rating.

I certainly do wish this app has been around when I started weight watchers years ago it is awesome easily learned wonderful to have at your fingertips with your cell phone and readily available on your tablet you just can’t go wrong with this little app and then a little add-ons are even better it makes tracking your food and losing weight and keeping up with everything so easy you can even go back and look at your prior days I just love this app I will not be without it forever more in the future I recommended it to many friends and they’ve purchased it they got in the free version and then they purchased the add-ons and everybody so far has loved it it’s easy to learn and wonderful to have I highly recommend this app

This app is a great way to track food, but it seems to want to take your money. Despite the fact that it’s a paid app, there is a little moving ribbon set over some of the buttons to get you to buy their stuff. Despite the fact that I bought some of the guides in a bundle with this app (as separate apps), inside the app it is trying to sell me those same guides, plus others as well.

This is the best app for weight loss I have ever seen. It goes above and beyond and has an awesome support group. You won’t be sorry with this one.

I just downloaded this because WW decided to change their points system ONCE AGAIN after I had success with the previous plan with no choice to go back to the old system. Seriously, what a terrible way to treat customers! I’m liking this app so far, but it would definitely be nice to have a “save meal” option on the calculator. We use the Hello Fresh boxed meal system and it’s convenient for me to input all of the nutritional information at once and then track the meals throughout the week. However, that’s not an option on this app. Please add this feature, I would be forever grateful!

I want my money back from the purchases I made in this app, that now with this new update I would need to purchase again. The design isn’t awful, but it’s attempt to be more like MyFitnessPal is lacking.

This is very confusing. Difficult just trying to figure out how many points an Apple is and which plan it belongs to.

The new version is the worst. I clearly do not understand why people feel the need to change something that worked well. Do they have ex-employees from weight watchers working for sunshine health now? It is less frustrating to go back and use paper and pencil at this point

We(my wife and myself) both loved the original version but now find the version 6.0 to be very difficult to use as well as the point values are incorrect. It is also very difficult to read because of the lack of contrast in the app ie(white letters on a light blue background) and vise era.

I’m not sure what made you decide to update this app cause it was great. The new version is terrible! The whole look and use was changed and it’s not nearly as good as before. Plus the bar code scanner doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried more than once to use it and it does nothing. Ill be looking for another app to use.

1/2 my screen is taken up by the header. I’m scrolling way too much to double check what I’ve added. The “note” function isn’t easily accessible when wanting to flip thru to read previous days. Dislike that you can’t collapse the meal times. I’ve used WW & this app looks comparable but it is not. Frustrated by the locked header and not being able to see listed foods without constantly moving up & down. Scroll, scroll, scroll.... carpal tunnel here I come! 👎🙅😤🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I’ve been using this app and loved it. I purchased the restaurant and online foods. Now with the new version I get nothing without purchasing them again. Not right. Switching over to another app. It’s more equivalent to points plus which I don’t like. Liked the standard points.

App is great, especially with the new update. Looks pretty much just like WW now. Wish it didn’t show negative points and a red line for when you start dipping into your 7 indulgence points for the day. I feel the red line should come if you go over your daily and the plus 7 you get from the weekly. Love how it gives the option to choose your program. As I have been unsuccessful l with the new WW updates. The new programs are so restrictive. With this app you can choose which tracking program to do.

Great app

The new version is not user friendly. It takes more steps to enter foods. Then there is no way to look at a quick list of the foods you’ve entered. Can no longer use the community chat with out paying $2.99 a month for PRO. It ducks now. Thx fir messing up a good thing.

I had bought this app a couple of years ago. Along with it I paid for the restaurant guide. The new update put the restaurant guide in their “Pro” plan for a monthly fee. I found the button to restore purchases but that did not give me back my access to the restaurant guide that I already paid for. Also, posting to the community used to be free. Not anymore. That’s also part of the “Pro” plan. Don’t waste your time or money.

I have been using this app for 5+ years and have always been happy with it...until the latest update. Food entries are more cumbersome, it is counterintuitive, and the searchability is flawed. The pocket guide is not apparent and sometimes a search doesn’t find things I know are in there.

MAKES ME MISS MY OLD SIMPLE PAPER TRACKER! I know new things take time to learn. However, had I known the new app would be so much back and forth and looking through different food lists I would NOT have updated! Yes, it is "prettier" than before. But some of my food points are showing as having decimals now, I don't like the minus if you've dipped into your weeklies and there are too many different personal food lists. Was much easier just to click before and have it track. Now I feel like it's an extra 3 steps to track food. Developers: PLEASE FIX

I have used iTrackBites off and on for a few years. But this new update is a game changer. Easier to find foods in the app, beautiful to look at and easier to interpret the data it’s tracking. Tried Noom before iTrackBites brought out this update. I’m sticking with ITrackBites!

New update is terrible. Took away everything we paid for in the original version. Don’t waste your money. Wish I could get a refund. Can’t add things quickly just by adding points. Lost all my favorites. Terrible

Not a fan of the recent “upgrade.” I enjoyed using the app for a couple of years and bought several of the databases for the old version, but they are no longer available to me, and “restore purchases “ doesn’t help. This makes the app borderline useless, unless, of course, I go Pro, which in my case is too far to go. I regret having updated.

I’m an on and off weight watchers gal. Found this app and I love how I can keep track of my points every day...I’m an after menopause lady so losing is harder than when I was younger. This program really works, slow and steady. Plus it’s MUCH cheaper than WW meetings/online. Try it, you’ll like it!!

Constant drop down advertisement reminder icons ruin this app. I’d rather pay weight watchers than put up with this.

The app helps greatly and allows me to not feel I’m on a diet. I lost in 2 weeks 5 pounds and one inch in my pant size. The only limitation is I can’t copy meals from one day to another. Hence the reason I only gave 4 stars

I don’t have much weight to lose but as I am getting older I find myself holding onto weight. I wanted something to help me lose some weight by tracking my food but felt I would be wasting my money with weight watchers. Loving this app so far especially the bar code food finder!!!

I’ve had iTrackBites for quite some time. I became a pro member when they rolled it out. I’m loving the new interface. I will renew when its time to again. It’s worth the membership

I am OK with change but what they neglected to consider is how long it takes to add meals in different formats. In the previous version I could add my meals in less than a minute as supposed to the 12 1/2 minutes it just took me to do it today. There is no option to add multiple foods at one time. You need to add each one individually and then go back to the menu and start over again. What a pain!

I am more than willing to pay but hate the new format and that it won’t sync without buying the Pro—and that the Pro wants more information than I’m willing to give (or I woud be willing to buy the Pro). I have used this for years to keep me aware of what I’m eating. I use an Apple watch,not Fitbit, I want my favorite foods easy to access alphabetical—and I want to use the old old system of calories, fat and fiber which works for me when creating new foods.

Update 12/10/18: I am practically giddy! This most recent update is just what I’ve been waiting for. The visuals are awesome, the tools are great and all the things I didn’t like about the app originally have been corrected and most importantly, i can still do my points plus!!! I was actually running about the house squealing in excitement so loud when the new app loaded on my phone the husband came in wondering what the heck was going on :-). This has me so excited to get back on plan I'm not even going to wait till January to start back in serious like I usually would. The only caveat is that the update since it was so huge has some bugs so the app has a few things that need tweaking but from the community posts it seams the developers are aware and they are working to fix everything. That is something i can live with for a little while to end up with an awesome app. No one who spent as much time and effort as they obviously did in this last update is going to leave things broken so I'm not worried. I don’t want ti jinx myself but I really think that with these changes this is going to be the year that i get to goal! Old review Ok, I admit it, at first i was turned off by the lack of visual appeal and the lack of FitBit syncing capability with this particular app and ended up going with another WW alternative that was prettier after WW switched from point plus to smart points and totally ruined my my 50 pound weight loss streak. HOWEVER, that app changed too and although it did still support folks doing WW Points plus it obviously wasn’t their main thing anymore and i often had trouble finding foods in the database. Flopped around for a long long while and finally decided to give this app a fair shot since they really seem focused on supporting people doing all of the ww programs and I'm glad i did. It took a few days of figuring out the app and i did buy all the add ins but i can say I finally feel back on track and even managed to loose a little over the recent thanksgiving holiday. Im so so thankful for this app and anyone who desperately misses the points plus program should give it a try. It not perfect but i think it really is the best option for us WW points plus people out there. Pros and cons listed below. Pros Still has the pocket guide, useful for double checking if an infrequently used vegetable is truly “free” With add ins has a very up to date and user friendly restaurant database and also i have only once had to input data for an item i was using the barcode scanner on so the general food database is really nice as well and I don’t have trouble finding food in the way I prefer to track (by weight). Plenty of items to choose from in activities Like the ability to have a favorites food list Most importantly it supports points plus!!!!!! Cons As stated before its not the prettiest app nor does it have Fitbit sync capability. Id like to have it split meals by breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and not gave them all in one long list and just generally have it look a little fresher. But really in the end these thing don’t matter because it does let me do my ww smart points almost effortlessly and that's what i like. To anyone reading this who is doing smart point and struggling seriously buy this app and give the old system a try.

Just wanted to let you know that I’m not happy with the latest update. I’m now looking for a new app. I have used this app for over two years and it has helped me lose over 120 lbs. There is now features missing that where present in the last version(online look up or pocket guide look up)....thanks but no thanks from an unsatisfied customer..

The app itself is great and can really help you with your dieting goals. I've had this app for years and along the way I purchased all the add ons like the restaurants and etc. Today I decided to start using the app and logged in it had all my info from before but I no longer had access to all the features I purchased. I see my favorite add on restaurants is $3.99 it's weird I can't use it any more but it's a main one I use so I buy it and track my stuff. Well then I get an email regarding a $35.99 yearly subscription. Which isn't want I wanted or expected, especially when I have already purchased the entire add ons suite years ago. So basically you can buy an app and the app can require you buy it again.

I used to love this app, but now after the update yesterday, it won’t even open. Insanely frustrating and there is no customer service to speak of for help. Fix this app!!!!!

Up until this latest update this app has been amazing for me. This update, however, makes the process of tracking food/activities much more complicated. When looking for foods to track it not only cannot find items that were previously in the pocket guide but (even more frustratingly) cannot find foods I tracked yesterday! Furthermore, the header monitoring points used, weekly points remaining, and activity points earned combined with the dates along the top takes up half of my phone screen, making it nearly impossible to track foods/activities or go back and look at previous day's tracking. While I understand the need to update the look of apps to keep them fresh and exciting, this is inconvenient and frustrating enough that after one day I'm ready to drop it and give up.

The latest update kept all of the bugs and inaccuracies of the old version, and added some new, significant bugs. Now NONE of the guides have correct values if you plan to follow Flex/Freestyle. Please, do not pay for the PRO version of this app.

Very pleased with this app. Does everything that comparable apps do but quite less in price. Plus you get your choice of programs.

I purchased different areas in this app, and now that they have ‘updated,’ I have lost the ability to use these sections and they now expect me to pay more. Very disappointed.

I’m 54 and never been on a diet, but after a hysterectomy I started gaining weight and rather quickly. I thought I’d give this a try. My motivation was my son getting married in January. Well he decided to elope instead but I stuck with this journey! I reached my goal in less then four months and feel so good! I never went hungry and still ate foods I like( in moderation) Disney here I come! What a feeling this is!

app is fantastic except the barcode scanning hasn’t worked since the update

My screen has been going black since yesterday after 6 second. Facebook replies are be patient well I’m not because I just paid for an upgrade and I can’t even use the app much less get this update the app is suppose to get.

Crashes on syncing. I’ve been reading more negative reviews lately. Perhaps there needs to be more complaints to Apple.

This app was awesome, but they 1) got way too greedy and 2) destroyed their GUI (user interface) in the last update. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because at least I can still use the old WW programs, but that’s all. I had to put a bunch of money into this app to search for food values when I started, but now they’ve moved to a subscription model and I lose feature after feature as time goes on. The most recent one is that I cannot communicate on the boards anymore. Without Any Warning. Just performed my app updates & suddenly got a message telling me I couldn’t post or reply without handing over money. I’m not going to pay $6/mo (in one yearly pymt) when I have already paid for most of the features just to get My Own HealthKit data imported, do point calculations for steps (as i understand it for Fitbit only), and Get Back the ability to communicate on the boards. Stripping features is a bad practice! Charging for new features is one thing, but you have to be considerate of those who are long-time customers. And connecting to Apple HealthKit should Never require $. That’s a HUGE no-no. Shame on you. Charge me for what you can do with data/info, not just to import/export. They need to learn to create value, not just charge for the sake of charging. Again...charging simply because it’s something new and everything new goes into the subscription model to s**** their old customers who paid for Everything Else piecemeal already is just ridiculous. HealthKit isn’t a feature. It needs to be a Table Stakes (ie Basic Function) for an app like this. As far as the GUI, they caved & made it look a lot like WW c*** interface. Clearly these guys hired cheap coders who build typical app GUIs without any special value. They are all likely ppl who have never actually been on WW most likely, and have no idea what’s important to those who are trying to lose weight, and didn’t do any research about their customers. The coders just rebuilt the app to look like all other average apps, and just called it a day. They did a few beta tests, but almost certainly they only tested for functionality, ignoring user experience. First of all-I see a huge Negative number when I go over my daily & use my flex points. I used to work for WW, and am a lifetime member. It’s NOT a bad thing to use flex points-that’s their purpose!! WW is not about guilt-they need to hire someone to teach them about their own customer base! Activity points simply don’t work properly in the new system, so I cannot speak any more to that. Food searches take far longer in the new system, and don’t produce nearly as many accurate results. I wind up seeing multiple values, including 0 point values (from “another program”) for foods which are Not 0 points in my program, so I cannot trust that I’m seeing Points, Smart Points, or Points Plus calculations anymore when I search. Losing a lot of my recent foods really left me in a lurch. Also, the healthy checks are wrong. I am not over 55, so I should not be asked for 3 dairy servings. I should Never be asked for 2 vitamins. In general they simply don’t match WW guidelines. Overall, what used to take 2 clicks (like adding recent foods) now takes several. Tons of recents are suddenly “forgotten”. Efficiency is critical in an app-they destroyed that. The app is just plain SLOW. it takes longer to track, longer to search, and uses more data to run. This means I no longer want to just leave it running in the background, so I have to keep opening/closing it all day. It’s the little things that contribute to an app being great...they missed great And good and landed on sucksville with this new update. My weight tracking has also disappeared before November. Of course if they didn’t charge me to see My Own Info from HealthKit that wouldn’t be a problem. My app shows I am a Pro user (from previous version), but so many buttons ask me for money that I have to be careful what I click. Too many things in the interface lead to this request. Clean that junk up-half of the buttons shouldn’t be asking me for $$. You simply don’t provide enough Value to do this. They should be charging for unique things they do, not just because users happen to have installed their app instead of another option. This is business 101. Clearly they need to go back to basics on both developing a business model and app development.

I hate the new update. I wish I could go back to the previous version! I can’t find foods I’ve logged previously. It won’t recognize foods I logged even yesterday or give me the ability to copy foods to the next day. I loved it before. This is such a disappointment!

I don’t t need to give a bunch of reasons why I hate the new look/update, that’s been done ten fold by others. I don’t know if I’ll be switching to another app but I’ll definitely now be looking where I had no reason to seek elsewhere before. Shame Shame Shame.

This is a MAJOR DOWNGRADE. Features I paid for, like restaurant lookup, removed. Online food search is gone. Can no longer jump through food lists by letter of the alphabet, making it a LOT more cumbersome to enter foods. This used to be a great app. This “upgrade” has me going back to a paper tracker.

Love the new look! I can edit items in the search! Theres still kinks to work out but I have to say I’m very happy I paid for pro!

Now I’m being forced to upgrade to PRO with this new update!!! Aarrrghhh I had purchased all the items separately that are in your subscription and now With this new update I have to pay to be able to use them again. RIP OFF!!!! I really liked the app but since you’re forcing me to pay a subscription you’ve also forced me to look at other apps as well.

App use to be very good, but with the update it basically requires the subscription purchase. I paid for several guides which are no longer available. If you’re willing to pay for a subscription, there are far better options available. Very disappointed!

This is a very useful app if you want to follow the ww program that was the original point system. The app is easy to use and great for that system, which works very well. Use the classic selection for the older program. I am very pleased. Easy to use and an amazing value for the price. A+

If you haven’t done so already, don’t update this app. The updates make the app much more challenging to use, causing too much frustration. There appears to be a lack of accuracy in the point system with this update.

App was great and I want to love the update but now the search isn’t pulling up what it usually would for pocket guide and online search. Shows zero results for something simple like saltine crackers and it’s making it very hard to track anything unless I can scan it or I have the nutritional value. Also missing recently added foods. I loved being able to use that.

I had previously bought most of the guides for this app. But NOW I can’t use the guides unless I upgrade. Which is paying double for something I already previously bought. Not fair. Like all other apps. This one is trying to just get money.

The update removed all usefulness if the app. Poor user interface now. I will be looking foe a new app after 2 years of great experience.

The app was great in the beginning. I managed to lose 150 with it! Now the new updates have killed it's online search function and few other functions. It's not an "update your phone" issue either. Someday app developers will crawl out of their mommies basement and realize you can have a good app and leave it alone and it will be great. Stop making s***** updates and changes. No one likes them. The newest updates are horrid. I have used this app daily for three years. Now I have to find a new app. The last three changes have made it impossible to navigate. It’s over. Not nearly as user friendly! In fact I just deleted a nastier review because I couldn’t locate restaurant guide or recipe builder. I now have stumbled into them, but are far from intuitive to find.

I like this app, but not having it on my Apple Watch is very disappointing and I tend to not use it. Will not renew my subscription unless you guys make it compatible. Otherwise, great app.

I love(d) this app, but he new update doesn’t allow me to add new food. I go to add food and I can only search or select recently tracked food or favorites. 2 weeks in ice lost 13lbs on managing my food alone! Please fix it tell me what I am don’t wrong. When I try to email you through the app i get an error that I don’t have an email connected but I checked, it’s connected to my device and to the app. You almost had an app buyer but if this isn’t fixed i will be glad I didn’t spend money.

After I upgraded, I can’t access anything I have paid for in this app. I paid for restaurant guide and recipe builder. It keeps telling me I need to subscribe. But I already Paid?? Also I can’t even ask a question in the app. I keep getting the upgrade screen. Wth

Quite a disappointment. Not as easy to use as previously. Doesn’t synch between iPhone and iPad unless you’re willing to pay extra.

So mad I updated! Where did all my foods go?! I’ve been using this app to track using points plus program for almost 2 years. All the food items I had entered are now gone despite a handful of random ones it put under “recent.” Also, where did the calculator go??? Now I have no idea how to see how many points something is in the points plus program?! Definitely looking for a new app. So disappointed!

This used to be the best free “track food” app, but now it is THE WORST. I cannot track all the databases I paid for (online foods, snacks, restaurants, etc). When it converted to 6.0, all my favorites and recipes built started using a different system for bites tracking so everything is MORE bites. (I was using one of the older systems where fruits and veggies were 0 zero points). No instructions or FAQ comes with the 6.0 version. I have contacted (email) the developers three times asking for instructions along with answers to my questions. Haven’t heard a peep in response. I am going to start using a different tracker because this no longer has databases that I can search. I asked for a refund for all the databases I paid for and now cannot search. No answer. This feedback was from 2017: developers listen to feedback and respond quickly. When the new version came out with intro to PRO, the free one was diminished in resources. The developers fixed it immediately so the free one is GREAT again

Holy moly, lots of change avoidance in these upgrade reviews! Ya’ll did a great job. The user interface is spectacular, and for WW users, it now closely matches what we’re used to. For everyone saying they can’t find food, you click the +, then “food”, and search for it 🤷🏼‍♀️. It used to be several lists, and now it’s one (including restaurants). 🙌 It literally could not be easier, and the community folks have already figured out all of the new changes, for those not tech savvy, and are *super* helpful. I’m excited to see what comes in the second phase of the roll out, because this has been a long awaited slice of awesome. For those complaining about certain features only being available for pro users: (1) it’s still cheaper than WW and; (2) I know it’s weird, but people don’t like to work for free. 👋

This used to be a great app. The free version was excellent and the pro version was outstanding - totally worth it. With the new version 6 released in 12/2018, I am finding a new app entirely. They rolled out a poorly planned update with a ton of errors and bugs. Not worth it and trying to get a refund.

I’ve been using the app for one week. I love the scanner most of all. It makes tracking servings so much easier. The only drawback I see is that I have an apple iPhone & iPad. I can’t get them to sync so the app shows on my iPhone. I downloaded the app to my iPad & I thought they would sync together so I could enjoy the app on both devices.

Hey love your app long time user and suggested it to many people. I wish there was a way we could group meals instead of it being 1 running list. Like breakfast lunch dinner snack or meal 1 meal 2 etc.

I really liked one of the old WW programs and was disappointed when they quit supporting it. With this app I can follow the program I want and still have support of people that are on the same program.

I have used WW online for 4 months. I decided to give Itrackbites a try. I was disappointed I had to keep spending more and more money after the initial purchase. I bought a bundle thinking that would be it, but it isn't. I do not like that most of what I buy from the store is not listed. I knew my recipes I would have to enter, but not even Hellmans mayo is listed, among other things. Somethings I already knew the smart points for were not correct on this app. Also, where you log in your food is not broken down for different meals. You can not save frequent meals. I paid another fee so my app would sync between apps and it does not. I would not recommend this over WW online.

This is a nice low cost option for those who can’t or don’t want to afford Weight Watchers online. The app works great and their community is very active and supportive. It takes a minute to get used to but after that, it is smooth sailing. Try it out!

Very confusing app. Too much of a variance between same good ... if you type in Something simple like cucumber ...it comes back with cucumber 2 pts , cucumber 1 pt , cucumber 0 points ( which it should be 0) then cucumber chickpeas ??? 4 pts . Seriously ...dumb app!

Ok, I admit it, at first i was turned off by the lack of visual appeal and the lack of FitBit syncing capability with this particular app and ended up going with another WW alternative that was prettier after WW switched from point plus to smart points and totally ruined my my 50 pound weight loss streak. HOWEVER, that app changed too and although it did still support folks doing WW Points plus it obviously wasn’t their main thing anymore and i often had trouble finding foods in the database. Flopped around for a long long while and finally decided to give this app a fair shot since they really seem focused on supporting people doing all of the ww programs and I'm glad i did. It took a few days of figuring out the app and i did buy all the add ins but i can say I finally feel back on track and even managed to loose a little over the recent thanksgiving holiday. Im so so thankful for this app and anyone who desperately misses the points plus program should give it a try. It not perfect but i think it really is the best option for us WW points plus people out there. Pros and cons listed below. Pros Still has the pocket guide, useful for double checking if an infrequently used vegetable is truly “free” With add ins has a very up to date and user friendly restaurant database and also i have only once had to input data for an item i was using the barcode scanner on so the general food database is really nice as well and I don’t have trouble finding food in the way I prefer to track (by weight). Plenty of items to choose from in activities Like the ability to have a favorites food list Most importantly it supports points plus!!!!!! Cons As stated before its not the prettiest app nor does it have Fitbit sync capability. Id like to have it split meals by breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and not gave them all in one long list and just generally have it look a little fresher. But really in the end these thing don’t matter because it does let me do my ww smart points almost effortlessly and that's what i like. To anyone reading this who is doing smart point and struggling seriously buy this app and give the old system a try.

Constant drop down advertisement icons ruin this app. I’d rather pay weight watchers than put up with this.

Bought this app a couple of days ago. First of all, just getting the app to show up in both my iPhone and iPad was challenging. Got that cleared up finally. Just began using the app today and I’m disappointed that the scanner doesn’t pick up nutritional info as easily as the WW scanner feature. I bought this app because the reviews said it was as good if not better than the WW app. Right now I’m not feeling it. Also, I was disappointed to see that my phone and pad weren’t syncing info then realized I’d have to pay for that feature. Ok. I bought the syncing feature. However, the food I input today on my iPad won’t show up on my iPhone. Didn’t I just pay for this?? Please tell me why it’s not working or where I should look to fix the problem. I expected an app that more closely resembled the WW app. So far this isn’t a close second. And it’s not as intuitive as one would think/hope. I hope that this is just a learning curve. If it doesn’t shape up within a couple of days, I’m going to request a refund. I’d rather have no program than deal with these issues everyday.

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to weight watchers and found this app. I’ve used it for four days and love it! It takes a little while to learn the food searches might be on one of several places -online, the diary, or USDA - but it does a great job finding some of my foodie food. I’m already losing weight! The activity tracking works well too. I chose the plus plan and it lets me track activity against food daily and there’s a weekly points for extra food for going out or whatever just like WW’s points plus program. NOTE: I did buy three extra in-app purchases to buff this up, but the total was less than one month of WW. I have one request to app maker: please add an Apple Watch sync soon.

I haven’t done anything like this before but this is helping me so much!!! I plan my meals for the entire day based on my points and now I pay attention to what I eat and space out my meals/snacks so that I feel like I’m eating often and continuing to have something in my stomach through the day. I have never really eaten like this before but I think it will help my metabolism to speed up and I’m also making sure to eat lots of fruit, veggies and protein. The water tracker is also very helpful to make sure I drink enough water and I love having the scanner to easily find out how many points are in foods. I think this is actually a life-changer!!! TOTALLY WORTH $13 (I bought a couple of the add-ons)

I was a member of ww online only and this is so much better. Same concept, faster scanner and it works when I’m in stores and love the “Connect” posts. Continuing to drop lbs using only this app. 😘

I lost 30 lbs in 4 months and it was not that much effort! I feel so much better, my hips and knees and I don’t feel like I sacrificed too much. I found foods I like to eat and don’t miss the chips and desserts. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is tracking what goes in your mouth and tracking your exercise. I’m looking forward to the maintenance program and doing this always! Say goodbye to weekly fees and weigh in meetings.

This app is wonderful as an alternative but it does take quite some getting use to. Pros: WAAAYYYY more affordable than weight watchers, only a few one time purchases and the app will serve a very similar experience. This app has a calculate feature which can help you figure out the points of something if you’re only stuck with a label. The original WW app does not have that feature! Cons: The platform feels very outdated and has a few ads which will not go away, apps that cost money shouldn’t have ads interfering with the interface. It doesn’t have the ability to categorize breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner which I find to be unorganized and unhelpful. Another thing is, you can’t calculate in anything other than servings, I love to calculate by cups or tablespoons. The community isn’t as active as WW and you can’t post photos. All in all, the pros do outweigh the cons and there are far more cons that I could post, BUT you’re going from an app that will cost you a one time cost of no more than $15, while weight watchers online will cost you around $180-$240 a year. If you have the money and have a ton of weight you need to lose, I’d go for weight watchers. But if you’re not very far off from your goal and are relatively broke, go for this app.

I’ve used this app on and off for years and liked it as a good alternative for expensive WW app. But it doesn’t work with the new freestyle program even with the upgrade. Points are incorrect and it’s very frustrating!

I am pleased with this app as I prefer using calories to lose weight. My only problem is syncing my iPad and iPhone. I have contacted iTrackBites and followed their instructions but no luck. Hopefully this can be resolved as I am pleased with the site as a whole!

I’m sick of these freemium apps that show you a monthly subscription price and then charge you for a full year at once. Just be honest and either have a monthly subscription or a yearly. Dishonest app.

This app tracks fruit as a high point value when on the past 2 Weight Watcher’s plans it has been 0. I also don’t find this app to be very user friendly. There are too many steps to accomplish the goal which is tracking everything. I also am not able to receive a refund so if anybody is on the fence about the app, don’t purchase.

I joined Weight Watchers in 2014. I lost 25 pounds in 6 months using their Points Plus system. I was successful in keeping this weight off until WW decided to change to Smart Points. This program does not work for me and I gained the weight back. I found this app by googling “Points Plus” two weeks ago. I have been using it since then and I am starting to lose weight again. So happy to have found this app.

I’ve used this app for years. Invested in all the add-ons with snacks, restaurants, etc.. but now they want me to pay every month to use it, allow adds to pop up all the time, and not allow me to use the New Flew Flex points system unless I pay monthly. So much for loyalty. :(

I’ve been with WW online for a year. I’ve lost and regained because I stopped tracking. I saw this app and compared it to other point apps and this one seemed to fit with my WW program. I would lie to see a steps counter added other than a sync to Fitbit. Not everyone uses Fitbit to count steps.

Can't sign up, can't do anything. I filled out everything and hit the sign up button and it never completes the process, apparently. Waste of time.

When will you integrate Apple Health or garmin devices?? Other than that great app

I love this app it can do so much and it saves me time. My only complaint is that several times it went down when I went into settings to manage my favourites and I had to delete the app and reinstall it.

I’ve struggled with being “plump” and never quite the size I’ve always wanted. This app has helped reign me in, putting parameters around my daily consumption and now there is hope to attain that goal weight and be able to stay there. Thanks for this great app.

I bought this app hoping it would work just as well as the Weight Watchers app, but for much less money. I guess there is a reason the app is less. For me, it seemed much less polished and less user friendly. I'm sorry I bought it.

I rate this app a 5 star, I had ww app, they went to freestyle, I’ve gain 25 back out of my 65 lbs with the new freestyle program, I keep hearing in my head over 200 foods you can EAT ALL you want but be mindful, unfortunately I did not hear or pay attention to the mindful part, when you tell an over eater ALL YOU WANT....😂thats what they will do EAT ALL they want...so first week here 5.5 and I’m spreading the word that I track bites and you have choices, calories, carbs or sugars, I choose sugars cause I’m a diabetic, my numbers have been great! Loving the app...could use some improvement however can’t everything.

Weightwatchers is free but when you acually download it you get a free trial after that it is expensive itrackbites however is exactly the same but free

I am only successful when tracking my food intake. Did WW many times but discovered iTrackBites. Very inexpensive option. It was a little cumbersome to learn and the Recipe Builder isn’t as good. If I were honest, I would give the app a 3 but because of the price compared to WW, my rating reflects that savings.

I am a life member of WW but gained back 30 of the 45 lbs I lost. WW works but I don’t need the weekly weigh ins for $20/week and this ap emulates the program. I will miss the support however and still recommend WW program to anyone who is serious about losing weight but lacks will power and a plan. This is my plan . Hopefully I can keep the will power going without the support.

Disappointed that it doesn’t work with Apple Watch, only Fitbit. And all the problems that it has, with the cost just isn’t worth it.

I love this app. So simple to use and definitely keeps me accountable. I only wish you could update you weight without losing your starting weight. I like to see how many pounds I’ve lost in a week/month but I’m not able to do that with this app. Other than that it’s great!!!

I like this app because it is similar to WW and a lot less expensive . Cons: some foods are hard to find because they are misspelled (yogurt is entered as yogourt). The thing that annoys me the most is the recipe builder. When I search for ingredients they are listed by serving. I want to add a pound of pasta, a cup of milk, a cup of sugar etc. not 1 serving of pasta, 1 ounce of milk or 1 teaspoon of sugar. I have to do the math myself to convert teaspoons of sugar to a cup etc. it is tedious. I recall in the past there was a choice ounces, cups, teaspoons, slices etc.

I began using I-Track Bites sometime this past February and so far lost 37 of my 40 lb weight loss goal. I’m finding the last few pounds a struggle as they are the most stubborn to shed! I could not be more satisfied with my results! It will be my life style now as I’m feeling so much better in every way! Going from six 12-14 to 10-8 is awesome! I am getting a lot of compliments and people expressing an interest in this plan. It’s a discipline, but the payoff is oh so worth the effort! It’s about making healthy choices overall and being honest and accountable about what and how much I am eating! All I can say is Yippee and Wahoo! ☺️

I was so sad when Weight Watchers changed to the Freestyle program. Now I can continue to track my 30 points. That's what works for me. One thing I worry about is can the WW administration stop the app ITrackBites because of copyright?

App is nice. Would be better if you could pay for pro for a month to see if it performs correctly. Saying it cost 2.99 then charging for a year is not cool.

Despite the statement in the app description, family sharing for pro features (in app purchases ) is not supported. ITrackBites needs to either remove that statement or comply.

The app is easy to use and is helping me with my goals. I just wish it had more for eating out.

I contacted support and they basically told me it works because it did on her phone. Sorry, it’s STILL not showing on mine in the Search Pocket Guide. Please fix this!

I bought this app awhile ago and it worked great! I got off track for a few months and started using it again this week. Suddenly the scanner doesn’t work. It worked amazingly well before. I re-installed the app, updated my system and that didn’t work. I was told it probably was due to an IOS system update that wouldn’t be available for approximately 4 weeks. Arghhh!!!!

I have an 8 Plus with the latest updates. Nothing will work on the app. It opens, but no buttons respond. Before this I was very happy with it. It's unusable right now.

I am a life time Weight Watcher member. The place where we use to have our meetings closed. I have no place close that I can go. A friend told me about this app. I love it!! I have gained about 20 pounds and am now trying to lose it. Thank you for all of your help and encouragement.

This is a great app,,, but it would be really great if I could text my favorites to friends.

For a full weight watchers membership it costs $500 a year. Their meetings are 10 minutes of Bravo's, 10 minutes of guidance, and 10 minutes of sales pitches for products. So I decided to do online only. That was over $200 a year, and then I found this app that does everything, even restaurant lookups, barcodes, EVERYTHING, for a mere fraction of the cost. Don't go anywhere!!

I’m trying to change my password I need help

For a free version of the app, it works very well. It’s a little difficult tracking recipes. Scanning the barcodes typically picks up all of the foods I’ve scanned. If it doesn’t, it’s very easy to add food via the calculator. I like the constant notification on the app itself of how many points you have left for the day. You are always in the know without having to open the app itself.

Why do you have point values for Foie gras within the app? It is terrible what they do to the geese, it is torture and should be banned. Please remove this. I am finding the products are incorrect with the points value such as Dr McDougalls soup cups, they are one serving per container and it is showing as two. Do you check to see if people are adding the products correctly?

Overall, I am very pleased with this app. The database is large and it definitely is an alternative to those who have used the WW app points tracking. My only disappointment is that with having paid for the upgrade, I sometimes have to search up to 3, sub databases to find an item. I would have preferred a single search field that would search all the sub databases. The scan function is excellent and I have found every product easily that has a scan code. I would highly recommend this app, especially, the pay for upgrade.

Using the calories weight loss method and 2 pounds per week I lost 35 pounds. This app was a huge part of it.

I had high hopes for this app as an alternative To MyFitnessPal. Tracking is limited. I had to keep manually adding food I scanned which was not necessary on MyFitnessPal. I was also trying to see some info re micronutrients for the day that MyFitnessPal offers in its free version. I can see this iTrackBites being useful for those that need lots of guidance with what to eat, how much, and more defined guidelines on what an average healthy meal plan looks like. Otherwise I found it frustrating and useless...and went back to MyFitnessPal. I might come back to ITrackBites again, give it another go especially if I learn some new feature about the app that I wasn’t aware of. The app definitely has its place, I just couldn’t find its place w me.

I signed up for $2.99 a month subscription but got charged for the full year and they will not refund. False advertising!!! Do not get suckered in like I did.

I was thrilled when I found out about this app! I’ve been a lifetime member of Weight Watchers for over 10 years, but have gained a little bit of weight over the last 3-4 years. I hate to have to pay so much money to get Weight Watchers e-Tools just to lose 5-7 pounds until I get back to goal, but have such a hard time sticking with it without having a way to track on my phone. I am so happy to have a way to do this now without paying the huge Weight Watchers fee!!! I also feel like the bar code scanner is even better than Weight Watchers- it seems to have more. I also love that I was able to get the recipe builder feature. Great app!

Started the app in January and have lost 30 plus pounds. Of coarse you have to work your plan and stay focused. (The app doesn’t do it for you just by downloading it)🤣😂 The support you get through the community is unreal. I recommend this app to everyone.

I think Weight Watchers really works. This app has allowed me to continue tracking without having to spend $55 per month. Life saver!

I’ve tried many weight loss apps and have never had the success with this app. I’ve lost 15 lbs in about two months and still using. It is not the easiest app to use and takes some figuring out but it works. It helped show me foods I thought were good to eat were really not as good and I was eating too much of. However, be prepared to spend money after buying the app. The app is pretty much useless without many of the in app purchases especially the online database. I would rather see one IAP for everything than bits and pieces or just one upfront price in the store. That being said, the app works and worth the money.

It would be nice if you could adjust servings. Ex: add ounces instead of having to use cups, add teaspoons, etc

Don't ask folks to rate the app two days after they've downloaded it. Give them a week or two to learn to use it and become comfortable with it. Now that I'm used to it, iTrackBites is great. There is a learning curve, for me, at least. I find it tricky to edit favorite foods to read the way I want them to be.

This app is awesome! It does everything I need it to do( other than cook for me!), is easy to use, has 3 “bites” programs to help you attain your weight loss goals and the online support is fabulous! I bought the bundle and highly recommend! What do you have to lose?? Wink wink!

I love this app! I am able to use older WW plans which are mote successful for me! I also like the community support!

I'm using the classic version. Is there somewhere I can just enter the points without having to enter the calories, fat, and fiber? Sometimes I already know the points value and would like not to have to enter the nutritional value because I don't always know it. Being able to enter points without the hassle of trying to figure that out would be great. *update* I figured out how to add in points for foods that I already know the points for. This app is great! I'm so glad I found it as I have not been able to locate my books for the classic version and the points plus plan does not work for me for whatever reason.

When using recipe builder and you put in a item that of course u need to add the box for they make it impossibly complicated because it measures only in cups. What makes them think everything is in cups when in fact when adding for a recipe it’s hardly never cups. I will give it credit that it lets you use the scanner when using recipe builder and ww does not.

This would be PERFECT for me if the recipe builder allowed me to add foods that I’ve entered manually in my favorites list. It’s nearly there but for this one little piece.

I'm using the classic version. Is there somewhere I can just enter the points without having to enter the calories, fat, and fiber? Sometimes I already know the points value and would like not to have to enter the nutritional value because I don't always know it. Being able to enter points without the hassle of trying to figure that out would be great.

Pros: ▪️ Has smart points calculations Cons: ▪️ Poor design and experience in the community section ▪️ Poor design when compared to WW or ProTracker Plus ▪️ limited food database unless you pay $6 more in in-app purchases. ProTracker and WW both come with a great UI and Database as part of the normal costs (and ProTracker is a single, one-time purchase). I cannot stress how limiting this is. The only food list you get for free is the list provided by the FDA. Want to scan that hamburger bun to get the points values? Pay up. Are you searching for beer? Pay again. This is especially difficult for people utilizing iTunes family sharing as each user will have to purchase the in-app purchases in order to have normal usage of the app. Also, these paid lists do not seem to be updated frequently. ▪️ UI freezes up when searching FDA list on occasion ▪️ Backups require yet another in-app purchase (no iCloud saving for free even though it's free for developers to implement). This app is fine for tracking, so long as you know going into it that it’s going to cost you. I just wish it didn’t feel like an app I would make in college.

To upgrade the app gave me the impression is was 1 or 2.99 per month. And then it mentioned a total per year cost well when they give the monthly amount that was what I thought I was paying but no they yanked the money for a full year and what a waste that was the upgrades weren’t worth it. Now I’m paid for a full year anyways. Nice ripoff!!

I have always lost in WW until they left the points plus for the new programs. I just can’t wrap my mind around it. I fount this a week ago and started using it as points plus. Now I am back on track in managing my food and point intake right in the palm of my hands. Way to go A great app and very inexpensive.

I really like this app. I have never used anything like this before, not even WW app, and I have been able to figure it out. It's very user friendly and there is a community group in app where you can ask questions. There are in app purchases to complete the app and get all the features and but it was worth it to me. You can purchase them individually for about $2 a piece or get the bundle which is what I did. They bundle them all together for $5.99 which was a small price to pay in my opinion--better than $20 a month for WW. Very pleased I decided to get this app.

Disappointed that they haven’t update to match WW Free Style program! Loved it before the change!

Love this app. I love WW smartpoints and am able to do it with app for a lot less cost than WW. Thank you for making this app. It took a little while to figure it out but finally got it. Love it.

Today January 7 app just started crashing every time I open it. Please fix it because this is a great app. I truly love it.

The only improvements I would suggest is to have the search tool search all the add one at one time. I often use search when I’m in favorites and I’ll have to go back and tap online then type the search again. Also wish it preloaded hits as you type. Other than that it’s top notch!

This app used to be great, but it is kind of outdated now. Searching for foods on the “Online” section is difficult. Also when entering multiple food items in from a restaurant, it takes you back to the menu. It should keep the restaurant list open. The app is great because I don't have to spend $20 a month like WW, everything works the same. I really wish they would add more restaurants.

App is easy to use. If you have any familiarity with W.W. plan and how it works it basically the same but cheaper!

Why is my app crashing. Will I have to pay again to reload it

Typical app, as soon as you download it use it for a few days it crashes as soon as they get some of your money.

I have been using this app for less then a month and have lost 7 lbs and my husband has lost 10 lbs since we started using it!🤗 It might not be exactly up to date with the weight watchers program but it is still extremely helpful to use. I LOVE the bar scanner to tell you the point value in food products!! Soooo much easier then taking out the points calculator on every item 🙄. Such a time saver!!! I told my mom about it and now she uses it all the time and loves the app! She said it’s been a huge help and eye opener to what food she’s been having around. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve tried other apps to track my meals.this one works the best and is super easy to learn. The community is great and the Facebook page is encouraging!

I was a WW member for 4 years and lost over 60 lbs. I was over the moon to be down to my pre-baby weight after years of losing a little then gaining a lot. The only complaint I have is that, once you’re a lifetime member, there’s no real incentive to stick with the program and it becomes more of a chore than a goal. I’ve gained most of my weight back after quitting the program and I’m trying new things to fit my lifestyle. This is the perfect app for me. It’s exorbitantly cheaper than being a WW member even after purchasing all the add-ons (highly recommend), I don’t have to pay a monthly fee if I don’t weigh in when I should, it’s easy to navigate (after a little exploration), and my wallet thanks me. Two suggestions. First one, it would be nice to have the option of tracking the time of day for meals so I could see what needs to change (am I not eating enough breakfast?, am I snacking too much?, what time of day is my “weakest”...). Second one, a diary option. So I could correlate if my eating habits are emotional or hormonal. Thanks for supplying an awesome app that I can support :)

This app is a lifesaver! It does all I need to keep losing weight without the hefty monthly fees of other weight loss programs!!

I have been using the app for 3 months and love it! So handy to have it on my phone and see what I’m eating. I have lost 17 pounds and it has made me so aware of the difference in foods points and quantity. So easy and so helpful in tracking what I need and what I can exchange for allowing me to make better choices. Eating out with the app close at hand makes me more aware of the right choices and keeps me on track to make good decisions on how I want to use those points. Love it!!!!

Was a Online Plus member with Weight Watchers. Successfully lost 44lbs. Due to some financial crisis I couldn’t afford the $19.99/mo fee. Until someone referred me to this app. It’s perfect ! Works just like Weight Watchers.

This is the biggest conglomerated mess I've ever seen. Wasted my money getting this. Apparently, the only way you'll be able to use this is if you've used Weight Watchers app for quite some time. It gives you very, very little info on foods, unless you buy other in app purchases. The only way I've found to get info, is to google a particular food and enter all the nutrition information manually into the app. REALLY?! Why do I need this app then? Wish I could get my money back.

This app is difficult to navigate.. will not sync with my Apple products.. $ you to death for all functions !!

I was almost to goal on points plus when WW switched to smart points. I have been floundering ever sense. I love getting my Wendy’s Jr. Frosty back for 5 pts! I wish I had found this app sooner!

I cannot express my thanks to the developers of this app. I lost almost 40 pounds since mid May doing Weight Watchers. Then came FreeStyle and I’ve fluctuated between 38.2 and 39.6 pounds lost since December 12th. I was really unhappy and frustrated, and I loved the previous SmartPoints Beyond the Scale program. This app is a life saver! I’m back to the Points system that I love and I feel in control of my food once again. Once you sync it to FitBit, you’ll have the perfect app. Thank you again!

So easy to track! Love the scanning option so you know how many points!

I like the use of this app after a week. There’s a couple small things that could be improved for my use. 1) When scanning products, doesn’t turn on camera light and makes it hard to scan when there are shadows present. 2) Needs to be able to link with FitBit! I’ve found different theories of how to convert steps to minutes, but not sure how accurate they are. 3) Trying to figure food point value now with the Freestyle Plan is kind of a pain. Can’t wait for the next update to see if any of my issues will be resolved, I know I’m not the only one patiently waiting!

I love this app. It gives me freedom to choose what plan I want to use. Unlike WW they change plans and we all have change with them even if we are happy and doing well on the older plan. They don’t care. So I am happy I have choices now. Thanks ITrackBites!!

Will you be adding the new freestyle plan? Also can you add a row to where you have more than one item of food like two breads instead of just writing it twice. And a journal section because we all know weight loss is mainly mental and emotional. Also the big thing I personally want is like a way to use my weekly points without having to use up all my daily. Like you press the weekly number and it goes to another page of boxes that are unticked and you tick them or some other way. You get what I’m saying ? Lol I don’t explain myself well. I cannot love without this app btw xoxo

I seemed to find very few alternatives to volume amounts. Lack of alternatives rules out use of kitchen scale. Very disappointing.

Yet another app that does literally nothing other than force you to create an “account” with undisclosed terms of service and privacy policies. I have no idea if the app is functional at all because I’m not giving away my personal information to some random guy. Save your money and use a spreadsheet.

As a previous member following “the plan” successfully I have to say this app and the associated information is outstanding and the best of what is available. It is complete, fully thought through and easy to use. Love it!

This is by far the best app for using the old-style weight watchers classic points. I can’t get any easier than this… You can even scan the barcode of your favorite food boxes and it automatically comes up with the points. It couldn’t be any easier if you tried.

I love this app. The Weight Watchers app is to expensive if you are a Weight Watchers member and this app does basically the same thing except for not being able to chat with someone from weight watchers. Love it.

I was so sad when Weight Watchers changed to the Freestyle program. Now I can continue to track my 30 points. That's what works for me.

So I paid $3.99 to try out this app, but you really don’t get access to much with paying another $5.99 for access to all the food guides and another $1.99 for the recipe builder function. If I knew I’d like what those extras have to offer, I’d do it, but I’m not spending any more money on this app when I can’t see what’s available on those guides. And the foods you can track using just what you get for $3.99 are limited.

Was working fine yesterday and now it keeps closing every time I open the app. How an I supposed to use it?

I’ve used this in the past after I want d to stay in points plus when smart points came out, but it doesn’t work anymore. When I open it, it crashes.

I can’t say enough good things about this app. I’ve used Weight Watchers off and on for years and always somehow found myself veering off and canceling my membership out of guilt because I felt like I was wasting money. A discouraging, vicious cycle. But no more – now that I’ve been using this app I’ve lost nearly 25 pounds and gained peace of mind that if I do have a setback or two, it’s okay and I can keep going because I’m not paying a monthly membership fee. I have the freedom and flexibility to follow this plan as closely or as loosely as I want and I never feel guilty because of money. This app has been a true lifesaver and one that I will most likely be using for the rest of my life. I purchased everything except for the snack guide and it was all WELL worth it. Highly recommended if you want to get serious about losing weight the healthy way but want to do it on your own terms without being chained to subscription.

Best yet. Never go hungry. Eat what I want but I am still responsible for all that I put in my mouth. Still have to track but that’s me. I use bites to track.

Worked great for a couple days then one morning I couldn’t load it with out it crashing within seconds. Now unusable which is sad as it seemed solid.

Great app ... all the functionality at a fraction of the cost of other similar traci by systems. The barcode scanner is fantastic and backed up by a huge library of items. 95% of everything in our pantry scans with one touch.

I think the app is top notch. I do think by giving the ability to Apple Watch or Fitbit to auto upload activity and translating it to points would be a MAJOR upgrade. Please consider this if you haven’t already.

Have been on and off points for 10 years. Use it just to help me get back on track. This app is a great alternative to paying for a online subscription. The bar code reader is worth it alone for grocery shopping. Only wish they would separate meals and allow whole meal tracking under favorites. Both are easy to get use too.

I’ve only been on here four days and I can’t say enough good things about this app, I love how user friendly it is to use, I love the community page, there’s tons of information to read and you have the opportunity to also share your own thoughts or to ask questions, this app is amazing. There’s just no way anyone could be hungary with the points they encourage you to use. I love this app!

Let’s face it, this is the poor person’s weight watchers. For a small price, you get a very similar product to weight watchers. It’s definitely not as clean, but again, it’s a fraction of what you would be paying monthly to weight watchers and so far I have gotten similar weight loss results. I started with the Smart plan, but found that I was starving myself because things like apples were 5 points. I was burning though my points too fast, so I switched to the Plus plan. That one seems to be closer to the current WW point calculations and I have been more successful with it. If you don’t feel like taking on another monthly bill and need to drop some pounds, give this a try!

I am starting to love this app. After just going back to WW, I need an easy way to count points. This does it. The downside is I have to create my own food/point list, unless I want to buy their list. The upside is that as I add foods, they become easy to add in future meals. Or, I could buy their food list. We’ll see.

I really like this app. It helps me keep on track.
