I have a WW2 vet that works for me. He still sells real estate at 94. We went to lunch one day and he said it didn’t agree with him. It gave him heart burn and he wanted to go home and rest. I told him I wanted to check his pulse. I did and it was all over the board. I knew he was having issues and took him to the EMS. They said he was afibbing really bad and took him immediately to the hospital. He had a slight heart attack. That was a year ago and he is back to work. I am so glad I had this app on my phone! It helped save his life.

Outstanding and simple. This app opened the door for me to keep track of my heart and the impact of my habits upon it. Led to my use of other related apps to monitor other aspects of my health. I would recommend this app to people of every age as a first step to monitoring and managing your health.

I was shocked to find I was charged $59 for a 1 year subscription after “trial”. Apple makes it virtually impossible to get a refund from a subscription. I canceled the renewal right away but this company basically stole $59. Worst scam ever.

Thought I was getting the features for 4.99. Found out they also want a month subscription for you to access these features. Ripoff. My Apple Watch takes my pulse. Waste of my money.

I have numerous medical issues and this app is a reliable addition to my arsenal.

I have been using this APP for at least three years and find that it is easy to use. I am still using the free APP because I think the price is to high for the additional features Otherwise this is a good APP to monitor your daily blood pressure.

I love this app because it does everything. I don’t have to write anything down and it keeps the track of the results.

What more could you ask for? It takes your heart rate and then records it with your personal note. Very helpful in recording trends. I think it's the greatest!!! Also, the app offers helpful articles on diet and exercise. I have the free version for several years and I have never encountered an advertisement on this app.

The customer service is non existent

As a former telemetry technician I think this is great. You might want to offer some insight into the rhythm imprint. It isn’t the same as you would get on a five or twelve lead ekg.... correct? Thanks

This is a great App to monitor your heart rate and easy use for that purpose. Like so many apps it is a bait app that is free but if you want to do anything other than checking your heart rate you will have to buy access to upgrades.

After you spend your money you are constantly promoted to spend more. It’s easier to take my own pulse.

Tries to get you to upgrade constantly.You have to go through many promotional screens to get to what you want.Also they have been in the news for selling user data to third parties.

Very accurate and informative

I have used the free version of this for years. I finally got sick of the excessive ads interrupting the heart rate measuring process so I bought the “full” version for $5, expecting no ads. Instead, when I try to use it, it give a very inaccurate reading or reads nothing at all AND still has ads, including an in-app “premium” upgrade FOR $60 A YEAR. At some point it kicked me back to the free app which still at least measures correctly. Screw this app and this company. It’s a scam.

This app is great until you need to reset your password. They threaten to send you a password reset link that never comes due to a flaw in their code. Four emails with their support and still no resolution. Paid for the upgrade and was content to do so. I believe in supporting good apps. Based on this experience I regret spending the simple $5.00.

I’ve been using this app for almost six years. It works very well for Resting Heart Rate - very quick and accurate. When out jogging it’s a different story, even if I stand motionless, in shade or sun, it struggles to capture the rate. It’s as if it doesn’t believe it. It starts, wipes the dial clean and goes again. All the time it’s trying to get a reading my heart rate is dropping. (The rates are not high 48 to 135.) I love the stand up test. It’s always interesting. All in all, a great app. I’ll keep using it.

It is extremely frustrating purchasing an app that forces you to sign up for something in order to use it. I would just like to get my heart rate monitor and I don’t need to save my progress or do anything like that it should be an option not a requirement.

Takes far too long to give you a read (if it even works at all) and is highly inaccurate. Just awful.

The app works OK but I paid five dollars and after I take my heart rate I’ve got several screens of their ads. Deleted the app. Besides they been rumored to be selling your data. Wouldn’t buy again.

I use this regularly while I am hiking so I can stay within the particular heart zone I have chosen for that particular day, whether it’s interval training, cardio, or fat burning zones, this convenient app is with me and as close as my cell phone.

This app works okay but even paying 5 bucks the app still HAMMERS you with ads in the most annoying ways possible. I set up several heart rate apps to see whose I liked best and which to keep, and even though I paid for this one I’m dumping it due, again, to obnoxious ads that make using the app stupidly difficult.

It’s good to know what’s going on with my heart. Sometimes I feel so bad that’s good to know

Easy to review Heart rate with Resting Heart rate and HR during the day. I find that this App is easy and very useful, having been diagnosed with tachycardia it is a simple and fast way to measure and record activity and results in minutes! Great for keeping notes for follow up appointments with Dr!

All the app is show ads which I try and close and then another screen displays prompting me to pay. I downloaded the free app but I guess nothing is free anymore.

Reliable Head Rate Without Going To The Doctors Office.

Easiest heart rate app I have found for HR “spot checks”. This is NOT a heart rate monitor for exercise.

A few years ago I went to Tucson Arizona to ride in the Tour de Tucson. I was working hard and stressed out the week before I got on the plane. Felt very run down and when I got to Tucson was really exhausted. Felt like a bad flu. Opted not to ride in the Tour. I went to see a nurse at the Walgreens clinic. She said I seemed pretty sick to her but she didn't have a lab there. She recommended if I wasn't feeling better by that afternoon to go to the emergency room or urgent care. I really didn't feel like going anywhere after that so I slept that afternoon. That night I started checking my heart rate when I was laying down. I couldn't get it below 104 bpm and I was concerned that maybe somehow the flu was affecting my heart? Mostly because of using this program I decided I was ill enough to go to urgent care. The doctor there took an EKG, called and ambulance. Got to the ER and immediately got a catheter run through my groin into my heart to see what was going on. I had a flu in my heart. It's called myocarditis. My lay person understanding Is it affected at least one of my heart valves and made my heart an inefficient pump. It was pumping fast to make up for pumping poorly. I was in the hospital for a week. I was close to death. If I hadn't known that my resting pulse was 104+ I probably wouldn't have gone to the doctor. I would've just tried a "rest cure". If, I had waited any longer, I probably would've died :-(. Being close to death has profound way of making you realize exactly what is important in life and what is not. What a gift I was given! Regarding this app, it is simple to use and it works. Sometimes you have to move your finger around a little to get it to settle down but it's accurate and works very well. Thank you very much, Greg

I was shown this app by my son and was quite impressed. I am still happy with it after having used its while. I'm not sure it's 100% accurate but its pretty good. I use it regularly. As someone with a heart condition it's reassuring when I see things come out looking normal. There does appear to be a small glitch that appears as a slipped heartbeat when graphing in real time.

Love how convenient and accurate this app is. Plus the history and other useful functions make it the best heart app I’ve seen.

The only objection I have is the app makes you struggle through a few pages that encourage you to first login through facebook, which you can decline (no login is necessary at all but not clear if you can set it up to skip this page; then you get another page encouraging you to sign up for premium ( what you would want premium escapes me) then it measures your pulse and then you have to turn down some other choice before it gives you the result. Other than that, the bp measurement is a snap and works great. You don’t even need to use a finger - almost any place will do. 10 seconds any it’s done. I would like to be able to use this in an emergency and the clunky interfering steps that try to rope you into making more profit for the coders are a serious detraction.

This app is just what I need. I have had afib and I must monitor my heart rate during the day. Especially in the AM and at bedtime. Also after doing any chores around the house that requires some work. The great thing about the app is the ability to have the data saved. Makes it easy when I go to my cardiologist. The app is worth the money spent.

Take your pulse in any situation and even customize the event. The stand up test is the best. I can check my pulse after climbing the many stairs at the marina, and then to see how long it takes to return to normal.

I just had surgery two weeks ago for atrial fib relation and atrial flutter. Well in my hospital room I wanted to see how accurate this app was while hooked up to an EKG. It was exactly on the mark. I highly recommend this app for its reliability and useful features.

My husband is a Cardiologist, when he looks at the results, no good at all.

I have bradycardia, (it gets as low as 39 at rest) and while the heart rate monitor is accurate, the chart for fat burning, etc., is completely useless to me, since I can never get my heart rate that high.

Sometime starts, reads my pulse stops and records it correctly. Sometimes it won’t start at all. Sometimes starts, but won’t stop and record the reading. Basic is way overpriced for almost no functionality. Apparently you have to sign up for premium to really use. Can’t get a response online, so it was a total waste.

This app has helped me track data for the issues I've been experiencing. Now if it could tell me my blood pressure!

Love this quick access to my heart rate while walking.

I am a senior. One evening I started feeling really strange. My blood sugar was good, so I opened the Heart Rate app to see what my rate was. It was 34. My cardiologist told me my rate should not be below 60. We called 911 and went by ambulance to the hospital. I was told that had I waited much longer it could have been much worse, even death. Having heart rate was life saving for me!

Use it 3/4 times a day, reads the same as my treadmill, b/p monitor, and finger oxygen monitor.

Great for heart rate but is totally inaccurate on steps per day. Cannot figure where it derives the inaccurate data displayed. If it needs data from one of it’s own apps and cannot connect to Apple Watch or Pedometer data it should just say “no data.”

Love the free app! User-friendly interface, great decisions on what to emphasize—e.g., including a prominent step tracker. One suggestion I have for the free app would be to tweak it so that your flashlight doesn’t come on as soon as you open the app. One more prompt before turning it on would be great. My major disappointment was that after I paid for the app’s “insights,” it proved to be really just a summary/snapshot of your data, which you can already see for yourself within the free app. I thought it might be more involved, I.e., offering suggestions for lowering your restrictions by heart rate, etc. Please improve these “insights” we’re paying for!

Easy to use and accurate

I got this app after having to see a cardiologist. I would check my heart rate often and all was good...til January 1, 2015. I went to run an errand and felt bad. I checked my heart rate and saw it was 30 bpm. I went to the ER and next thing I know I have a pacemaker installed. I don’t think I’d be here if not for this app.

Working well

I’ve been using this app for several years. It really helped a few months ago when I got pale and lightheaded. I was able to take my pulse immediately and relay it to the doctor. This app is so much easier and is much better then the BP cuff and the BP wrist cuff. So convenient to do – right at your fingertips. I verified the accuracy with my doctor’s nurse. She checked my pulse (at my wrist). This app and the nurse’s results matched! Doesn’t your cell phone follow you around? LOL.

One of my favorites. It seems rather accurate. Will test this against a Holter monitor later this month. So far it seems the highest degree of accuracy is attained by laying the phone on your finger while resting your arm on a table and don't move. I hope it can be possible to export the graphs to open on the computer in order to view the full range of the pressure of each pulse. I can see in the Realtime graph how it is resized, say from a group of strong pulses to a group of Weak pulses. My pulses are strong when I breathe in and weak when I breathe out. The saved graph does not indicate this. You get a bunch of ads when you open the app. Yeah, it's irritating, especially if you want to get a reading right away, but it doesn't interfere with the performance or accuracy while the test is monitoring.

Great app but you have to pay if u want a full report of your heart rate and every time you get message about subscribing 12.99 a month no nice. And I paid already for the main app but it is a subscription

I’ve been chasing AFIB over the last few years. This app lets me know when the heartbeat reaches high levels and as such indicates an AFIB condition. Very accurate

Love this app check my heart rate regularly and this app is right on. I have AFib so it really helps me during an episode.

In addition to measuring your pulse (bpm) there’s a scary sine wave. Share it with your doctor. It’s not a medical tool, but any data collected has some value.

Still using this app, after several years. Functions well on my iPhone 8. App is just about impossible to use on the iPhone 6s Plus. The camera lens and the flash are too far apart. . . Jan. 2016 This app doesn't work for me on the iPhone 6s Plus. It can't seem to find the pulse in my finger. I suspect it's because of the greater distance between the camera lens and the flash unit on this newer iPhone. . . Nov. 2015. I'm looking forward to trying the new features in this update. I've been a big fan of this app for over two years. December, 2014. I continue to use this app on a regular basis to check my heart rate. (For some reason I've always found it a problem to consistently feel my own pulse.) Also, I've found the app very useful for checking my heart's rhythm. I use the app routinely to confirm that I'm in normal rhythm, when I don't have easy access to a stethoscope. In addition to the visual and auditory enunciation of the heartbeat, the app also has a useful graphical output. Maybe not accurate enough for checking one's QT interval, but otherwise informative. . . . July, 2014 Great app! Used to love this ap. Works great for measuring heart rate. Used to be mostly ad free. Used to be able to see heart rate history... now they want you to pay a monthly fee. So bummed. I’m all for making some cash with your ap but I feel robbed. Where’s all my old data?

I use this app when I feel I am having palpitations to verify that my heart is settling back down. It is very accurate and reliable.

I use this to see how stressed I am before bed. Makes me slow down to be sure and get a low reading.

Love it use it a lot

I have SVT and when my heart rate goes crazy this app helps me keep track of my episodes and the rate of my episode. When I go to the doctor I just open the app up and show him my history and it helps on what the next step of treatment is.

The only thing that I have an issue with is it’s not easy to log the workouts. I use an elliptical for an hour a day and logging workouts is not as simple as that.

I bought this today after trying it on a friend’s phone. He had the free but I don’t mind to pay for a good app. After I downloaded the app it let me check my heart rate one time and then it “locked” unless I would share all my facebook info and contacts, or sign up with a lot of personal info. I just wanted to use the heart rate monitor after my workouts. I paid $5 rather than have to deal with the ads. And it blocked me the second time I used the paid for app because I wouldn’t pony up my own personal info - or all my facebook contacts.

You can get the free version and it does the same thing as the 5.00 version dont you still have to get a month to month or a annual subscription to fully use this app do not pay 5.00 for this

Great to use during a workout. Super easy and I can keep track of my numbers a lot easier than trying to remember day by day.

Don’t waste $5. Might be an accurate heart rate monitor but it does NOT do anything else like check your stress level unless you pay $49.99 which is absurd. Do yourself a favor and get one of the free apps that do the same thing. Waste of money.

This app is very helpful for monitoring your heart rate and correlating it with various factors. You can add your own list of factors, along with some that are built in. I love being able to check my heart rate anywhere I happen to be, without having to carry another gadget.

Amazing app I have been using it for years, very accurate, and so easy to use. I have a pulse oximeter that I have checked it against and it is always accurate. I use this app instead of my pulse oximeter to track my pulse because it keeps track of my readings and it is easy to show my doctor.

This leads you to believe it is free so you sign up. Next thing you know you are being charged $5.29 and I haven’t done anything but follow steps to sign up for free. There is no way to call anyone or find a phone number so it was on my bank statement. Another scam.

I like the basic quality of what I purchased this app for, checking my heart rate and tagging it with a note as to time and circumstances. I am very dismayed that I am constantly urged to update to next level. If you’ll quit bugging me to update to premium I’ll change my three stars to five stars.

Looks cute but doesn’t do enough for me for 4.99. Uses 1 number as an indicator. I’m not a Doctor! What does this 1 number mean in comparison to the 2 number blood pressure system. It keeps asking you to up-grade. I see it as a lead to get you to buy an upgrade. I really don’t think I’m getting much for $4.99. Why would I upgrade to something more expensive?? But all the pretty colors and moving lines are cute, but not good enough for me at $4.99.

Been using this application for2-3 years, usually after walking 5-10 miles outdoor , at the gym, after waking up in the morning or just showing to individuals who do not know of the built-in heart application on their iPhone that goes with the heart rate monitor, the free part I like the best because it is simple and easy to use by starting the application and placing your index finger on the lenses of your camera when the light comes on, be patient and leave the finger gently on the lighted area till the circle finishes a full circle and gives you a pulse rate number, there’s a note pad to write what activity you where doing before taking your measurements, Am 64 years old and this tool helps keeping track of my fitness progression in moderation and consistency. ❤️😎

Had been a great app up until about two weeks ago. Keeps crashing whenever trying to open & there’s no way to contact the developer for support (app support page is just a FAQ page with no contact info). Tried uninstalling & reinstalling with no luck.

Works great! It helps me to be aware of how my body is responding to every day activities .

Sometimes when I’m feeling it did, unsettled, can’t get my pulse. Is it because it’s too erratic? Beating irregularly? Would be very helpful if the app would state that. Sometimes my bpm hits 109 while “detecting” but that’s not reflected in the “peak” bpm. Why not?

All this app does is take your pulse. Everything else costs extra. I was very disappointed and want a refund.

I needed to keep a check on my heart rate and this is the only way I could after home care nurses left.

When I dowloaded this, I thought it would do more than give me my heart rate, but after I bought it, you have to keep buying additional information. I think they should be clearer in their description.

I have been using this app for years. I have tested this while sitting and running and compared it to the readings of my chest strap HRM and was happily surprised how well it works, giving me the same rating as my chest strap (which does not connect to my phone). While I don’t use this app to check my heart rate while I run it was still a great test. I have tried other monitors that do not pick up HR very well while running. I purchased the Premium, but have noticed what is included in the Premium keeps changing so its a little confusing when I get ads recommending I upgrade. This is the only thing I don’t like and recommend they re-name these upgrades to avoid confusion or add the new features as free enhancements. Looking at new options they seem appear to be great options.

Love this app and the little reminders it gives you. I feel more aware of my health, eating, weight and the significance of staying as fit as I can! ❤️🍃

I enjoy this app as it allows me to track my steps along with my heart rate. Been trying to exercise more and get my heart rate up and this is a great tracking app.

Could be a great app. But their self-promotion and hiding the click to actually take your heart rate (with all their sign-up promotions taking over the screen) makes it so frustrating to use. If you can ever wade through all that and actually measure your heart rate it works fine. But sheesh...

I wasn’t feeling well in the middle of the night and I picked up my phone to check my heart rate which was out of control. Laid there and held my phone for a minute look down and somehow something has popped up and I trying to get off that screen authorized a $60 yearly subscription on an app I rarely use for a single free service.

There is zero difference between this app and the free version. I bought this because it was suppose to have more. It does not. Total wast of money.

I spent $4.99 USD on this app, but it won’t allow me to take a heart rate measurement unless I sign up for an online account. From there support email:”have to log in to measure your heart rate as the application wants to store your data and provide insights”. Don’t won’t insights, just want a heart rate measurement. Thought paying for an app would avoid adds and information harvesting. End up paying for nothing.

As a high school PE teacher, injecting technology into the classroom is a vital strategy for students to connect with their work. The app is a positive assessment tool. Students love to use the app whether they are required to record their heart rates or not. It’s a great link connecting the physical health with intellectual health.

This app works good when it allows you to use it. It constantly tries to sell you on a yearly $$ subscription that comes with a bunch of other crap. Then you can only use the app one time after that you are forced to give them your email and create an account. Just make it simple. I hate being bombarded with a bunch of features I don’t want constantly.

I am very surprised that with all the demographic info submitted that there has been no email follow up.

It is quick end painless. I am not sure how accurate it is but I Zen to hover around the same numbers so I guess that us my norm. So I will know if there is change.

Checking HR should be simplified. Screen is too busy. Too complicated to do a reading. Too expensive to upgrade -$10/month is a ridiculous amount to pay for no ads. Please, use an alternative HR measurer

It keeps me hydrated

I don’t want Premium after one week and don’t need it either. Basic Ap is all I need. I was unable to find a place without a lot of searching to cancel subscription and get my money back and money is automatically charged every year. Feel like I was trapped!

The pop up ads make this thing unusable. I can tolerate maybe 1 at the beginning or 1 at the end, but popping up 4-5 ads while I’m trying to take pulse is unacceptable. Interrupts each time. Used to be a good and very useful app.

Keeps says detecting pulse and wait forever for results. Way overpriced for basic and majority of app doesn’t work unless you buy subscription. I highly doubt it’s accuracy. Took 3 readings in a row and got way different results. Wish id never purchased it.

This software allows me to monitor my heart. It is a wonderful application and it lets me know when I need to workout. It is great to know to know how my ticker is doing when hiking.

As someone who used to suffer AFIB I frequently used the app to confirm what my heart was doing. I have been treated for the AFIB but I still use the an when I suspect heart issues.

I was in the hospital for a week for major heart complications. I had all of my heart rate data in this app prior to my hospitalization, during, & after my first night home. Then I decided to sign in with my email. None of my data transferred. Upon logging out, all my data was gone on my phone app. If my data is recoverable, I’ll change my rating. This was enough to make me not purchase this app. The whole point was for me to print my records, which are all now wiped off my phone!

How much we can trust outputs?.. if there is any official certification, it will more confident.

This is the 3rd heart rate app I tried and the best. It takes my heart rate easily and records a history that I can see perfectly.

For years I have positioned myself with a stopwatch and tried to find the right place in my neck to feel the pulse and timed it for 30 seconds times two to get my heart-rate. With this app it’s faster and easier and I feel it is very accurate

First you pay for the app then you have to pay for anything and everything it does ... better off just going to Walmart and putting your arm in a free pressure cuff

Until I got an Apple Watch and the HeartWatch App Suite, this app was my go-to app to track my heart. The only problem was that I had to initiate this app to get my heart reading.

don’t know what happened but it stopped measuring heart rate. it tries and stalls. i emailed their tech support but no reply.

Took my heart rate before the nurse did and the rate shown on my phone was more precise.

I've been using Heart Rate app for years. I have come to rely on it before and after exercise and before bed.

I've had nurses watching my heart rate on a monitor all the while showing them this app & the results & they've FREAKED out about how accurate it is! It's THAT good!

When exercising I use a strap type HR monitor. For daily tracking of resting HR this is the best. It matches my other monitor to a beat.

I’ve used you App for years and love it. I just have one suggestion. If possible can you adapt program to detect an irregular heartbeat? I have AFib and this could help me monitor it more closely.

I have the free version and this one that I paid $4.99 doesn’t have any different from the free one so why would you say it is plus and trick people ?????

I love this app! Gives me peace of mind, especially when I think my heart rate is too fast. It’s nice to have a device that will at least give me a ballpark range! Love it!

I paid $4.99 for this app and every single time I open it there’s a pop up to upgrade to the monthly premium subscription. If this paid version of the app is so annoying I cannot imagine what the free version is like. Skip it.

This app offers a poor feature set for the initial $5 and wants you to pay for a subscription. I would suggest Heart Rate Pro instead.

I have had this app for many years. I upgraded to the paid app. Now they took away all the features that I originally paid for and changed it to a subscription. I'm not happy! Stay away!

Easy to use. Intuitive interface, so no learning curve, you just pick itty up and start using it. Takes less than one minute. Seems quite accurate, even though i haven't personally verified it. Great app to keep you on top of your heart health!

I used this app to show my doctor how many times I was in atrial fabulation to better my condition. I went in the hospital July 27 for an ablation procedure. I have not had a afib condition since July 28, 2018

Absolutely no reason to demand users to create an account. They could simply use iCloud storage and/or local storage to save historical data but they force you to sign up. I won’t even get into HIPAA compliance, data usage, monitoring etc. Just don’t install it.

This is app is very disappointing. When exercising I stopped to check my pulse it was 149 this app measured it at like 86! I mean come on every time I check it myself it’s different than the app.(way different !!) The motion tracker doesn’t work it says it’s turned off but I have checked it numerous times and it’s on. I have toggled it off and on but no dice doesn’t work. The most basic thing it’s supposed to do.. take my pulse (correctly) doesn’t even work. What a rip off. 😔 I should have read more reviews before purchasing premium. Really kicking myself for purchasing this app at all. Watch out for this one people! You can bet I won’t renew.

This really is a necessary app

I regret buying this app. I bought it thinking that I could get basic heart rate monitor and stress test included with the initial cost of installing this app, and that the premium subscription added additional features, such as videos, reports, tips, etc. I extremely disappointed with this app, and will contact Apple about getting a refund.

This app, Heart Rate, is great. I have Afib and I need to know what my heart is doing. This app absolutely helps me find out what my heart is doing, and it helps me keep a log.

If you have afib forget this app. Just not accurate and the second you download you get hit with premium offers.

Doesn’t work on iPhone X. Said my heart rate was well over 100 and it wasn’t even close. Will be contacting to get my money back. Poor app. Don’t waste your money, do yourself a favor! Attempted it with 5 different people and it was incorrect for everyone. This can be dangerous when talking about your health.

Fast, easy and a good way to monitor your heart rate trends.

When I first downloaded this app a few years ago, there wasn't all the added fluff in the app. It measured heart rate, which it did well and that was it. Over time, the company has added more and more "features" and want to charge a monthly/annual premium for them. I am not interested in those but the app continually pesters me to buy it before allowing me to use the one function I got this app for in the first place. Can't say that measurements are as accurate as I get upset having to cancel out the sales pitch and thus raising my heart rate. I may need to look elsewhere and finally ditch this app.

Recently diagnosed with A-Fib, I am more conscious than ever of my heart rate. This easy-to-use app is just the thing to keep me apprised and informed wherever I go.

It could be a much better app if it wasn’t necessary to upgrade and pay 49.99 a year just to use it for anything more than your bpm. I guess you can’t put a price on your health but 50 bucks a year? Really?

Love this App. It has multiple items to track. I receive friendly reminders, it is user friend, big icons to read quickly, it checks my heart rate anytime I need to, it logs my water, coffee intake, and food quickly. I don't have to calculate or log in the proteins, carbs, etc, it does it for me. It tracks and calculates my steps, it suggests a few core exercises each day, ... . I love this app. THANK YOU FOR DESIGNING THIS APP.

I love this app!! It is so good for a lot of people and a lot more should use it for their health But so many say they are to busy !!! Well one day when they are laying in a bed looking straight in a Hosiptal with machine everywhere —- then you will think —-OH. I wished I would have just took a minute or two for THAT !!! This app is great! I took it to my doc and it was exactly the same measurement as what the doctor got numerous times. He refers to this app to see what my heart rate is daily between appts.

As a nurse, I'm very skeptical with anything & even taking a manual heart rate can be tricky. I won’t say this app should replace a more reliable one - but I need to say HOW IMPRESSED I AM with the amount of accuracy over the 3 years I’ve used it. I feel that out of a 1000 times I’ve used it. Maybe 1-2 times have been sketchy. More than wow for an app - but this app might just be dead on. Awesome! Very accurate! Interesting

First of all the app itself works decently; I simply want to check my heart rate while exercising, and don't want anything like a wrist device. I purchased the paid version, as I assumed the free version would be full of ads. I guess I assumed wrong; just about everytime I go to check my heart rate, I have to dismiss one or two windows trying get me to log in or upgrade. Will delete this app as soon as I find something better.

Paid $5 for this app and now it’s recently started popping up ads and nagging me to subscribe for $50/year. Why does Apple let developers s**** users like this?

Great for a snapshot of the heart rate. Has helped me to take exercise, diet and weight management seriously. Raised my averages at rest from the mid 40s to mid 50s in 2 years and going up. Highly recommend.

This is a great App to monitor your heart rate and easy use for that purpose. Like so many apps it is a bait app that is free but if you want to do anything other than checking your heart rate you will have to buy access to upgrades.

I compare this against my fitness watch and it is right on the money

I got this app about four years ago to monitor my heart rate while and after walking. On Jan 1, 2015 I felt bad and checked my heart rate with this app and found it had dropped to 30 bpm. My wife took me to the ER and four days later had a pacemaker installed. Without this app I would have just thought I felt bad and gone and lay on the couch, and maybe died.
