Perfect for doing mma/kickboxing/boxing/grappling/circuit rounds. Simple and easy to navigate layout. Worth the price✌🏽 If you’re in an actual mma/boxing gym you might want to plug into speakers so everyone can hear the buzzers and bells.

Needs and goals

I use this timer not only for boxing but also for jump roping, HIIT training and even for running my practices as a wrestling coach. You can preset multiple timers that can be switched with a simple touch of a button. This timer is a necessary for anyone trying to train their hardest and get good timed results.

Good app but dj keeps repeating the same song regardless of setting (shuffle, etc).

Great app, simple and everything I needed! Really like that it has the “prepare” timer at start of workout, and that I can choose how many rounds. Only thing that would make it even better, add a “cool down” timer for the end of the workout. Still great either way!

As a law enforcement trainer I love the flexibility in setting up multiple timers. Each with a prepare period, a work period, and a rest period as well as being able to select how many rounds you need! BEST TIMER OUT THERE

Love this app! The workout DJ is a good feature. Totally customizable round and audio settings! A must have for aspiring fighters or those who do circuit training!

Works well for a boxing timer. Easy to use and simple user interface. I would like it to be more rich in features. For example be able to use this app as a Tabata timer. Would also like to be able to use for supersets where I might have four timers set for a minute each with 15 seconds rest in between followed by a 2 minute timer. Just my thoughts. I would pay a little more to have it all in one app instead of having to purchase separate timer apps. Also a watch app would be great as well

And this is the best one. Loud bells and buzzers. Crisp graphics. No fuss, just a serious timer.

Great App.

Was considering a physical bell system for my basement gym when I decided to give this a shot...very glad I did. Works perfectly in the 15 by 20 space I use for workouts. Easy to use and has everything I need. For a larger space, you maybe want to run the sound through a BT speaker.

Please add Google Play Music support. The main reason I bought this was because the music integration, but it only supports Apple Music.

Everything I need! Except for one thing! I wish there was a none/stop playing music option for alerts. I teach kickboxing classes with another timer that is giving us problems but I like how the timer stops out music right away during our rest without a alert so I can explain the next round. If that option happens in the next update this app for sure will be perfect.

Works great. The presets are cool. Excellent for interval training, boxing stuff, etc.

It’s easy to program and it’s a good price. I’m using it right now but this review popped up and I took a second out of my boxing workout to write this.

I love this app! The timer is perfect for my workout! And the alarms ring through my Bluetooth so I don’t have to constantly look at the time!

I love this app and use it daily for circuits and bag rounds. I would change only one thing. You can’t select to have a bell between minutes within a round. Which makes organized bag rounds a bit harder but otherwise I really love it.

This is a great feature for your own workouts or for your clients. You can have presets for boxing or any interval training. The preset feature allows you to have multiple clocks ready to go with appropriate rest time and preparation time! Just get it and stop thinking.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Simple to use and the programming feature is a huge bonus. Primarily used to BJJ drilling and rolling. Highly recommended

Best app for Boxing Timer for iPhone

I use this timer for my boxing regimen, it works great and it helps me reach my goals. I can stop the clock when I get winded and restart it when I need to within the workout. I have grown in strength and STAMINA. You can adjust the time of each round, rest period, start time and duration of workout. I am a heavyweight, destroying smaller guys in the gym with the help of this tool.

I’ve tried them all. This is the simplest and best ever!

This has been the best app. You can change round length, rest, warnings and play your favorite playlist. It has been a little buggy playing music but the timer has never failed me. You could box, MMA, cross fit. It has a few presets so you set them up for different workouts and what ever you’re doing select and hit start. I use Apple pods so I’m free to move

Amazing perfect timer, can be customized and you can play your music and even airplay to view on your tv with an Apple TV 💪🏼🙌🏼

...the 10-seconds (seconds out) warning before the ending of the rest period. Will update to 5 stars once that is incorporated. Also give the option to not use the prepare countdown warning at the beginning (1st round) of the contests.

Great app, hasn’t crashed even after all the iOS updates. Intuitive functionality and very reliable. I’ve used this app for over 4 years and have never had a problem, I use it at the gym and at home. Highly recommended.

This app does exactly what it says on the tin. My issue with it is that there’s no obvious way to move “back” to view a previously selected timer preset in the main view. If you have 4 presets and move past Preset 2, you have to tap 4 times to go through all the presets back to preset 2. Could be fixed with pagination dots or a back and forward button

Love this product use it for my martial arts school all the time. But you all need to make the iOS 11 update so I can use it again.

I was a bit disappointed when I opened my recent updated App. I liked the simplicity and the layout. It was easier on the eyes and I just liked the way it looked. I'm sure I'll adapt to this one, but will definitely miss the old one.

Please add the low intensity/rest round back to the app! It was so much more useful with that option. Now the app only has the option for the round number, time, and warning. Revision: Found the rest round - it is still in the app, but you have to scroll to find it. The old design was easier to use.

Thank you so much for updating this app! It's the best round counter in the app store, and it really needed this update to stay current and stable. I've been using this app several times a week for many years with focus mitts and boxing training. 👊

We love the boxing timer. We use the Apple TV app and put on our TVs around the gym!

Love this app. It keeps me on track and makes sure that I don’t become distracted in between sets. Great for boxers or general training.

Great for HIIT. 30/30 on Treadmill, boxing bag, bands and etc. I even use it for my son training when he is training for basketball 🏀 16 years old, Team Under Armour, Atlanta Xpress. How many 3’s he can make in 1 minute. Then rest for 30 seconds, 10 reps.
