We play it all night long 12 hours. It helps to keep my little one asleep. We use the portable one in the car, stroller and in different parts of the house. Love this invention!!!

For almost $5 this app shouldn’t be crashing every time I use it. With literally one button “start” “stop” I don’t understand why it crashes. We also have the actual shusher(which I LOVE). If the bugs were fixed it would definitely be a five star app all day!

Wish I could get my money back. Have a Bluetooth speaker placed under the crib, so I got this app for that purpose. I would rather have that on than a phone by my baby’s head all night.

This worked awesome for over a year. My blutooth speaker picked it up. Now with the updates it no longer works on blutooth. I was told it’s not compatible, yet it was before the updates. I wish I wouldn’t have updated it!

Works great for my baby when she is fussy fighting falling asleep. I like that I can still use my phone while it is on, I am usually in the same room as her when she’s napping. I also like the equalizer, it stops every 3 mins and adjusts the volume based on if the baby is crying or not.

Overall I like the app & it works for my 3 month old. I do however think an added feature could be a timer or countdown since I often wonder how much time is left before it turns off.

I used this app with my first very colic baby in 2011 but it didn’t help from what I could tell, other than maybe drown out his screams a little. Now trying to use it for my third baby that is just fussy from time to time but it shuts down every time. Useless. There doesn’t appear to be any app updates. I’m assuming they have put their focus on the physical product rather than the app.

Somehow whenever I press start the app plays the shush over the phone and not the speaker. It’s not my phone, I can play any other app through the speaker. There is no “play through speaker” option. I wish I hadn’t purchased!

I wasted $4.99. All this app did was make my infant more irritated. I wish I could get a refund.🙄

I have the actual baby shusher and I have the app on all my phones and iPad. We play this at night for my baby all night long. As soon as it cuts off he starts to stir and wake up. I also have the shusher to take with us in the car and play it when he’s fussy and it puts him right to sleep. Best thing ever!!! Highly recommend!

I have to say this app is such a lifesaver. It helped my wife and I put our baby girl to rest each time she was irate. My daughter would cry each time we put her in her infant car seat, and i would slide my phone into the cushions and turn the app on, and she would calm down within a few seconds to a short few minutes!! We both recommend this to any parent with newborns- and if you’re not sure how it works, I’d suggest to look into the 4S’s dubbed by Dr Harvey Karp, author of Happiest Baby On The Block.

We use baby shusher every evening to calm our daughter and put her to sleep. I have to say the noise really does wonders but the app functionality is not the best. It crashes all the time, the sound will often stop for no reason and you have to constantly close the application to go back and get the sound to start again. It’s a game of patience when you already have so much going on!

Have had this for over 2 year, even bought the shusher for the diaper bag. Still no Bluetooth though?

App won’t open. It just crashes since the update.

This app is a miracle worker for my fiesty little one! I’ve never been able to soothe her endless I pick her up and rock her. Not only did this app stop her crying in its tracks, but it also puts her right to sleep! When she is fussy and inconsolable this app works it’s magic every time !

The start/stop button gets out of sync easily. Also, the audio will not go over Bluetooth to an external speaker, which is really what I wanted this app for.

I’m sure it was partly luck of finding the right combination of things to figure out the sleeping thing for my first. But all I know is that she started sleeping through the night around 3 months and has never stopped! We used it with her as white noise for probably the first 2.5 years of her life. She’s 4 now and continues to be an amazing sleeper. Used with my second for the first 8 months or so, and he seems to be following in her sleep steps, haha 🤣 🤞

COLIC! It’s a d**** five letter word. We are told not to worry that my son will out grow it at three months. Three months of rigid, frantic screaming for 3-4 hours a night, 7 nights a week. I will try anything! Diet changes, 7 different brands of pacifiers, 3 brands of swaddles, rock and play, swing, crib, noise machines.... crazy Shusher app. Alas, this was not our cure or my path back to sanity. So I throw on my gun mufflers, take my Zoloft and move on to the next promised miracle.

Got the app thinking that I could get past the absurd thirty-minute timer on the physical Shusher. Nope. This one has a different sound. It’s slow and irritating. Doesn’t work. Avoid!

Wish it wouldn’t stop when get a phone call.

Keeps crashing!!! Please fix! I paid money and lived it but now it doesn't work. Fix this!

I use this app all the time as I photograph newborns, it instantly calms them and keeps me from having to get all up in their ear shushing them. Moms always ask me what it is and are amazed! I wasn't about to spend the $$ on the actual Shusher, especially since you have to worry about having batteries on hand, or losing it. My phone I wouldn't lose :)

It's not been opening. After hitting the start button it blinks out and back to phones home screen please fix my two month old would appreciate it!!

So glad my friend told me about this app!! My LO falls asleep within 5 minutes!!! Definitely worth the purchase!

With the update the app no longer works and that means my baby no longer sleeps! Don't update! I'm so angry about this!

We have both the machine and the app ad have gotten our money's worth 100x over. We have used with all 3 of our kids and each loves it! I have started gifting either the machine or iTunes gift cards so new moms can do themselves a favor!!!

After the last update for iOS 10, this app is crashing every time that I click on start button. Please fix it ASAP !

Do not update. Crashes on both my phone and iPad since update. Won't even open. Very disappointed after spending almost $5 on it. Really liked previous version-5 stars for it. Will be looking for something different.

I'm using it everywhere. In the car seat. In the stroller. In the swing. At work. At home. I'm so thankful to have a little extra help with me all the time.

What the heck?! We used to love the baby shusher. We used it a lot and it worked great. Then we updated it, and now it won't even open. Just crashes immediately.

Updated my iPhone 7 to iOS 10.2.1 and received an alert in the App Store that there was now a more recent version of the app. I updated it according but now every time I go to start the shush noise it crashes. Very disappointed that I spent money on an app I can no longer use! It's a shame because I loved the previous version. If you're reading this review and considering updating... DON'T!

Works great when It works. I got the latest update and I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to make it work. Annoying.

I've wanted the actual Shusher but wanted to give test the app first. It's so effective that I can stick to just the app and save a little money! I just wish they had shush patters too and Bluetooth capability, but still very useful for me and baby girl!!!

Purchased today, app makes one shushing noise and then completely stops working during the second one. Literally can only use for a few seconds and then have to restart. It seems like it would work well, but right now it's totally useless. Very frustrating to try to mess with app crashing and restarting while baby is crying. Please fix this!

Purchased to play over my car speakers to help calm my child. But it doesn't support Bluetooth audio.

This app is amazing! Customer support also helped us fix a minor issue and were so helpful! I highly recommend the shusher app!!

App crashes immediately upon playing. I will be pursuing a refund, $5 for an app that literally doesn't work is ridiculous. It has been crashing for a year through 2 different phones.

But every time I try to open it it shuts down now. Very annoying cause it's great when it works!

I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why my wireless speaker wasn't shushing. So frustrating I'd rather not leave my phone next to babies. No where in the description does it state no Bluetooth capabilities. $4.99 is a lot for an app that only does one thing and takes your phone hostage. I'm disappointed. I'm a newborn photographer and I need the white noise.

Fairly expensive app for one purpose, but was well used in my house and worth the money, until the update. Please fix! Update: 1/17. Has not fixed the bug. Still doesn't work

I loved this app for both my newborn photography business and my own children. The recent update now makes the app crash and unusable. Very disappointed, will change my review when this is fixed.

My son is almost 4 months and I haven't been able to open the app once since he was born. Waste of money.

Apparently there was an update to fix a bug, however this is now crashing every single time I open the app. It appears in fixing whatever bug they had, they created a new one. Super inconvenient to discover this while trying to use it for the purpose it was designed.

Worked great up until 1-14 update. Now stops after 5 seconds. Don't waste $5.

Mine crashed after the update months ago too. On a whim I decided to delete and reinstall the app and now it works properly!

If you have a newborn the Shusher is a MUST! I just found this app and I love it too! Best invention ever!

I am a postpartum doula and maternity coach, and I recommend this app to all my clients. Disclaimer: I always remind them to be mindful of the phone’s volume and proximity to the infant’s ears. Do not put the phone next to your infant’s head - baby ear drums are fragile.

I have the handheld shusher and use it in the car and away from home. I have paid for the app twice now (once on my old phone and again on my new phone) and very grateful for it. My 7 month old has used it from the day we came home from the hospital. It calms here and often soothes her right to sleep. I can’t say enough about how well it works BUT when I get a call or anything else on my phone makes a noise, the shusher stops making the noise and does not continue after the other noise (phone call, text message noise, other app...). I have to close the app completely every time, restart the app and then turn it back on. Imagine the frustration when this happens in the middle of her nap or while I’m trying to get her to sleep! I understand that the sound will stop while the other noise occurs, but once it’s over, I should be able to press start again and hear the shusher. Nope! Have to restart app every time. Please fix this problem. I am an iPhoneX user and also used the app on my LGV20 and had the same problem. Thanks so much!

We have the actual shusher, but sometimes forget it when we travel so the app is a nice backup. All the app does is crash every time I push the start button. Extremely frustrating and useless.
