So I bought the app with full privileges and after updating I am limited to "32 objects". It is forcing me to pay $4.99 per month to use an app I already purchased. Hah good one, avoid this app and get one that does not bait and switch

I’ve used this application over the years and have found it to be quite useful. It has, of course, been superceded by later versions. This one is working fine for me. Also, contray to some of the curious comments in the reviews about not being able to change the weight or color of a line, you can. Just look under “Color & Style”. Always been there.

It used to work

This is sad. This App appears to have a huge spectrum of capabilities at a low price; it is obviously created by graphics experts. BUT here is the problem - and it is a BIG PROBLEM: The learning curve is the size of Mt. Everest and will force many to give up and uninstall, as I certainly will. Take for examples the five preview panels here in the App Store description (at the top here - the magenta bug illustration, the technical drawing, math and map etc). There is no way you can create these nice items without first spending HOURS reading the 300+ page manual or delving into endless experimentation. You will be VERY frustrated seeing the apparent capability but not being able to do it yourself. As a long time Illustrator and professional CAD user (which this does not pretend to be), I find the learning curve insurmountable. It’s like an alien spaceship you know can do neat things, but you will never understand HOW TO FLY IT. Sad.

This was a great application. Nice features, easy to use and inexpensive. The upgrade to 9.2.0 completely destroyed the program. It took a fully functional program and DOWNGRADED it to a useless “Basic” version of the program. The notification simply stated that an upgrade was available (app store notification) just like we have gotten many times in the past. There was no explicit warning that the upgrade was going to destroy the application’s usefullness or that they were going to extort you to pay three times the origional purchase price to restore the previous functionality. This version 9 is not worth the $95 they are demanding, and the subscription based pricing is totally unacceptable. Highly not recommended. I would give this upgrade 0 stars, but that is not a review option. Very dissapointed in how they handled this update.

This is a verty good app. I bought it to make line drawings of artwork and it hasn’t disappointed me. If you’ve never used an app like this before be prepared to do some reading in the help section because this is powerful with a lot of features packed into it and you’ll want to learn how to use it. I needed some extra help so I sent them an email and their support was almost instantly sending a response. We emailed back and forth several times and corrected my problem right away. After a few drawings I feel like a pro using it now and highly recommend it.

I bought this software when it cost a LOT more than $0.99. I worked okay then. I could draw a line or an object and change the weight of the line or the object without any problem. It worked pretty well. My prior drawing program was Corel Draw which I preferred over Easy Draw but Corel Draw was no longer suppored on the Mac and I could “make do” with Easy Draw 3. That is no longer the case. It seems that this prgram is being dumbed down. For example, I when I draw a line or an object (like a rectangle) down and then select it, the program no longer allows me to change the weight of the line (or the rectangle). To me it would be like a word processor not permitting you to change the type face or the unlining or bonding of the words in your document after you typed those words. Would you rate such a wordprocessor with even a single star? I would giv this program zero stars were that possible. Maybe the developers think I will upgrade to Easy Draw 4, 5, 6 or 7 to get back features formerly in Easy Draw 3. Nope. I am not going to do that.

It's interface is fairly similar and is extremely easy (hence the name!) to work with. The price is a bit steep in my opinion, but it is chocked full of features (some of which I don't really use), so maybe the price is justified if you utilize every possible feature in this suite. Those seeking something like MS Paint or Adobe Illustrator may be a bit miffed, but for those looking to do CAD and vector graphics work, this is an incredibly powerful and simple suite of tools.

Simple and easy to use. I am not an expert and I have been able to create several logos with it.

It does have a fill button. If you payed attention enough you would notice it. I noticed it first thing when i bought it.
