I like this app, it is easy and fun to use. I use it a lot for creating diagrams for my work. I am a data architect at work and an artist at home, so I like that I can draw professional looking diagrams quickly that also have a touch of the artist in them... Even better, I like how quickly the Diagrammix support team jumped in to solve a problem for me when I had trouble with a file send to me by a colleague.

This program does help in making flow charts, by making things easy to move around and change info, which is what I wanted. I don’t like that some of the options are difficult to find, and though there are a wide variety of appearance options, none of them are to my taste. But the support team was responsive and helpful in figuring out my problems with exporting the file so that the changes to the appearance that I made were fixed.

Really good program. Works for my needs. Just needs Visio import/export and it would be great. Sent feedback on Visio import/export and received a quick reply that it is being worked on it. Very good customer service!

For flowcharts, you can drag in figures and fill them with text but you can't connect them, except with big fat arrow shapes!

I'd hoped this might be the sub-$40 diagram-drawing tool I'm looking for. My needs are simple. But I deducted one point for a lack of polish (misspellings, poor defaults), bugs and peculiar behavior, and TWO just for the wildly-broken Undo/Redo functionality that has been mentioned in other reviews. I'm not going to be able to use this. Below is the note I'm going to send the developers. 1. Style Chooser: -- Make window resizable -- Change 'Ok' to 'OK' 2. Table text: -- Defaults to text padding of 40%. Trying to add text to a cell gives the appearance of not working, since there is effectively no space inside the padding for the text to appear. Unfortunately this was the very first thing I tried, and it took quite a while to figure out. And I can't seem to change the default setting. -- Text angle widget does not turn; instead, clicking and pulling at it moves the entire text window around. -- Ok -> OK 3. Inspector > Table: "Rectangle Corner Raduis" - fix spelling. 4. Inspector > Layout: "Edge Routing: Traditonal" - fix spelling ("Traditional") Also - is "Routing" the right word here? 5. Undo: wow. Big problems there. 6. Translucency in text editor window - I'm not a fan. Wish there were a way to turn it off. 7. Drop shadows - they're a mystery, despite finding at least two selection boxes labeled "Shadow" 8. Dragged an arrow from the "Lines" section on the left. Clicked and dragged on its end to lengthen it. Released. Pewww-w-w-w! Off it shot in the direction it was pointing! Much like shooting an arrow. Not what I wanted, however.

Whenever I need to create a diagram, I keep coming to Diagrammix first because it's supposed to be easy and quick. But the three preset styles are painfully ugly; have limited, unpleasant color choices; and I find it terribly difficult to edit them. Rather than mess around for hours trying to get a design I wouldn't be embarrassed to show (or trying to find one among all the templates in Graffletopia), I give up and use a different application which offers much easier customization. The main suggestion I'd have for improvement is to fix the Glass style so that the objects draw well given one base color (rather than making the user have to fight so many settings), and change the program so it opens a standard color picker when you click on the background color block, rather than just showing a small set of dated-looking prefdefined colors. (Except for the Glass template, the color palettes all seem to have been taken from the color swatches of someone who did interior design for cheap hotels back in 1985.) The Glass template would look good if all the predefined colors weren't so dark and it were easy to select whatever color you want. And please add a "snap to grid" feature.

I love this application. The controls provided for each item are so comprehensive and fine-grained it is amazing. For example, getting text to appear exactly where you want it in relation to an arrow is usually a headache or impossible with other applications. This application provides such fine adjustments that I was able to line up my text exactly the way I wanted it with no hair-pulling.

Nice, easy-to-use diagramming app that will fulfill most people's needs. I've used it for simple flowcharts to complex network diagrams without any issues. Far cheaper than the competition. I'm happy with my purchase.

Intuitive and very easy to use! The learning curve for this is very short. The more you “play “ with all the features, the better it gets!
