Easy to use and wonderful effects

I have used Art text for many years now and recently purchased the latest version…well worth the price. I use Art Text to create powerful and impactful web graphics. Having the ability to quickly apply materials, textures and even import your own additions to the materials library is fantastic. Maybe best of all, there is not a huge learning curve to using it, the screen layout simply makes sense. I love using it in concert with other graphic programs as its easily imports, exports, copies and pastes from one to another; no unique formating restrictions. Buy it you love it.

Easy to use

This program and the company that supports it are beyond excellent! I have nothing but praise for the software and the fabulous support that backs it up!

I use this app to create logos, custom graphics, banners and headers for social media, digital paper, and more. Awesome app with unlimited possibilities. It has everything that I need to create professionally looking designs.

Reinstalled and still doesn't work ... Loved it for the 3 hours it did work

I purchased this program after reading the 5 star reviews….. however, I think something must have happened to the program. I have lost track of how many designs I have gotten done or almost done and the program all of a sudden just disappears from my screen and closes down with an error message. Please fix or halt sales until you do… It’s not exactly a cheap purchase to be this not only useless but utterly infuriating.

A very nice app for the price but could uses a few basic upgrades… I do enjoy it.

Creating my own designs is so much easier

I wish i can rate this to 10 stars, this app makes my job so easy. Endless options and settings to play with, I am a graphic Designer and I recommend this app ! LOL

This is a very good app. It enables writers to use awesome premade text styles for book covers. Thank you Belight Software group. However, it drastically needs the ability to import other digital media for simpler modifications. Plus, you (the app developers) may want to look at the Pages program by Apple for some pointers on simplicity for background and foreground masking, resizing, color modifications, and menu setup.

I was so excited to use this app and so far it has crashed my Mac EVERY time I’ve tried to use it!! :( I really need it too for the work I do! Is there anyway you can fix this from happening to me? If so, I will gladly rate this application 5 stars!! PLEASE EITHER FIX OR REFUND MY MONEY! Thanks!

I have used this program of and on since it was introduced. I haven't used until recently when I began designing my business identity. It is pretty intuitive and you can be up and running almost immediately. It's a good tool to have in your design tool box.

i’ve used Art Text since the beginning and love it. As of recent it is continuesly crashing and losing my work. hope for an update to fix these issues.

I am old school so I love programs that are easy to use and allow you to make the projects you would like to create. Easy but many useful features. The tect support got back to me quicky when I had an issue. I really this program

I downloaded it and made one design. It froze on the second design and now won’t open. Uninstalled and reinstalle and still doesn’t work. Not sure what to do and I was denied a refund. Emailed but no replies.

Text Art is a little gem hidden on the Mac. On the surface it may seems to be an app that doesn’t have advanced features. Wrong! Just gotta dig through it. However, it could benefit with some more modern Templates (current ones are super cheesy) and more constant updates; New Shading materials wouldn’t hurt neither. All and all, it is a superb app.

BUY …IT I GAVE IT 5 STARS …..still needs work crashes, go to YOU TUBE FOR CLASSES….

Selecting certain objects in the art display won’t allow you to move them especially when the objects are in 3D. you can move them with the keypad but not the mouse. The ability to scroll through the different text options with the keyboard has never worked now it works but after so many taps on the up or down it starts back on Z so you can only scroll through a fraction of the options. Most when exploring the google web font. Ctrl+F6 helps will allow you to get it going but it is only partially functional. Running on a imac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan. Otherwise the program is great for many of the creative processes I use. Im hoping you guys will give us some more extoic font options in the near future! thanks

I found this app when it was first created and have loved it ever since. It’s a great way to create quick graphics for my web development and other applications that look like they were made from an expensive program. It’s worth it to have it :)

Great product if you have a high speed processor AND lots of memory! I had to close all the application on my Mac to use this program. The 3D TEXT option is okay- Lettering will not line up straight across page and is has a super long lag time. I typed a 3d text sentence (12 words) and it took over 6 minutes to complete. And it always moves a degree off center. All the other font types work great with endless options to customise your work. Overall a great product but it took almost two days for me to complete a single invitation.

I *LOVE* Art Text 3! It is an incredible app that helps me so much. I am a teacher, and I use it to make posters for my classroom. The 3D text and effects really make things the posters pop! Much of the app is intuitive, so you can get started right away. If you get frustrated, checking out the “how-to’s” on their website is helpful. As for exporting, I have been exporting as JPG at 300 dpi, and the quality is amazing! Mille mercis à Belight Software: you guys rock!

Very confusing and bulky. The previous version had its bugs, but at least it was easy to use. They should have kept the original version and worked out the bugs. This version is slow, clunky and far from intuitive, even on a brand new MacBook Pro, 2018. How this progran receive nearly 5 stars is beyond my comprehension?

I have watched all four of the extensive and musical video introductions to the app and created two really cool graphics, however, I’m really impressed with Art Text 3. It has so many and a more complete set of features to offer than I expected. All the standard editing keystroke combinations I use in my other apps work just as I expected. Art Text 3.2.2 has considerable and outstanding potential illustrated in the video tutorials, also available after opting to start using the app, on the titlebar’s command menu of Window > Art Text Welcome Window. I’m thrilled with it’s high quality text and shape properties available simply at a combinations of click ’n’ drag mouse kinetics. It may benefit users to pause the videos fairly often to learn the app’s techniques of building wonderful full-color text displays. One extremely enjoyable and flexible app for 2D & 3D texts and shapes, as well as containing much more artistic tools like layers for advanced graphic designers. You may be the next one to leave a good art mark.

I enjoy playing around with all the different effects. There are still some things I have to learn but so far it does exctly what I need. Great buy.

After looking at dozens of Aps for Text Art, I was very diappointed that this did-not have the flexibility that it offered in it's description. The creativeness is limited.

This is one of the most useful apps that I own. Easy to create very professional logos. Runs great on my circa 2013 iMac even with a number of other open apps. I also used Art Text 2 but this is a major upgrade from that.

A quick and easy art program to get the professional results you desire! I'm glad that I purchased this.

I found the workflow more intuitive in this version and the extra effects and interface much more modern and stunning. With version 2, much of what I could accomplish could be done in Photoshop Elements and I found myself using Elements more. The 3D effects and conversion to 2D and 3D with one click is a major addition, as is the majority of effects which far exceed Photoshop’s Elements’ capabilities. Many tasks, which be incredibly difficult in Elements are easy in this program. Great job on the update! [Removed my negative comment. Latest update has drastically improved stability.] Feature requests: Feathering masks. I end up using Affinity Photo to created my feathered edges in every object.

I wish that this program was available on my Ipad Pro...Otherwise...5 stars!

I’ve owned the software for about an hour, and I think it’s very good. Intuitive interface, lots of customization. However, I’ll just have to say that it seems a little expensive. I paid $30 for it, and while it’s powerful enough I can’t COMPLAIN, I can squint my eye, rub my neck and think that I’m glad I didn’t end up paying more for it than I did. That said, I DID need it, I AM glad I got it, and if creating a logo or something similar is in your future, $30 isn’t a hard pill to swallow. If you want something cheap and clumsy, buy a PC. HA!

I use Art Text 3 and its companion Letters to do quick logo designs. Easy to use and creates great designs.

I am having a blast with this app! There are so many combinations to play with for font, backgrounds, textures… OMG the possibilities are endless!

I am not a graphic designer. But with this app, makes me want to rethink that I should be one. LOVE THIS APP! It’s easy to learn and so enjoyable to work with. Lots of possibilities to explore. Worth every cent!
