We love using apps and Zaxby’s has a really nice one but it would be very helpful if we could choose “on the side” for sauces on sandwiches. :)

Can’t get enough of the grilled chicken salads. Great deal for the price. My new favorite fast food place.

App is strange the way it handles credit card info; you have to remove one to add another... strange you can’t just store and select. Also, the app takes a terribly long time to update with every action you make. There is also not a good way to customize special order items. Makes me less likely to use Zaxby’s. I do like using apps to order food, that way my order is actually taken correctly. I find at the counter often times people don’t listen well and I end up getting something other than what I ordered.... I suppose that’s a review for a different place. 🙂

I love the online ordering because this location is always busy. I can just pick up and go, no lines, no waiting!

Has huge amount of bugs and is slow. Every time we use it the restaurant forgets our order.

I am a frequent visitor to zaxbys. Especially when I’m in school, there’s one 5 minutes from my building. I always have gift cards for Zaxby’s but I also tend to loose them. Having a way to add gift card money to an account would be a big help. That way each time I get a gift card I can link it to my account. I won’t have to worry about loosing a card, or trying to figure out if said card has any money on it or not.

No one at the store even knew there was a Zaxby’s app.

App does everything you need it to and has great functions just very slow and twitchy.

Please do not be confused by the title. I love Zaxby’s restaurants, food, and service. I have not complaint with any of the above mentioned. My issue is with ordering through this app. If there is an error you have to wait to be refunded. The last time it happened months went by before I was refunded.

I knew the moment I couldn’t add the types of drinks to my order I was in for a crazy experience. First time using the app and the order was wrong. There’s no way to say you want a sweet tea or coke in the app. You have to wait until you show up where they then ask. There was also some confusion to what I ordered and I asked the person to confirm and they showed me a print out of just the price I paid. They had no real clue what I ordered. Then I realized there’s no reward system. I don’t think I’ll ever use the app again. I do like Zaxbys and will just order the normal ways.

The app seems to be good. However I do not get drinks with my orders and I cannot customize the order in the app to remove the drink and subsequent cost. Five stars potentially if you can make that update

Easy to order via phone but Everytime I go to pick up in store my good is never ready, I always wait at least 20-30 minutes no matter what location I go to.

I was using this app for a while then all of a sudden it stopped working. It’s been to days now. Telling me to “check my pick up time ( i always picked up at the same time with no issues) or “network not working” or “state of rejection “. Really frustrating

We placed an order for $25, the app charged us twice for a total of $50. Called to get money back and they told us someone would call in the next day or two. They also mentioned that most people don’t worry about calling a second time get their overcharged money back after not receiving the said return phone call. Basically suggesting that we should forget about it? Sketchy sketchy services here. We still haven’t received a phone call or any kind of instruction on how to get our $25 back. We already living paycheck to paycheck, I’m livid that they are completely ignoring us and seem to want to keep our money. This is bordering criminal...

It gets the job done but it’s extremely slow.

The first time I ever used the app to order I was not impressed... I may as well have waited until I got there... however I decided to try it again and I was really impressed...

Yo, pls don’t ever ask to manually enter in my credit card info when I’ve already done that...with this thing called Apple Pay. If McDonald’s can figure that out I have at least those expectations for you. Also where are the deals?! Every other mobile app except this one has deals. Sorry, but Chick-fil-A is kicking your b*** with their app.

Seems like since they offer gift cards, they’d have the ability to add gift cards to the payment function. I have kids I’d like to give the option to kid funds on their phones, but don’t want my credit card linked to their (or my) account for unlimited access. Tried to contact app support as suggested, but it took me to “tell us about your experience” which was not where I was trying to go. Please fix the add payment function to accept your gift cards and it will be useful. If not, I might as well delete it.

I keep ordering online and get charged for salad BARS ($10 extra) but the restaurant prepares a salad platter - some people I cater don’t like cheese on their salads, but they have no choice now because everything is mixed in on the platters. Also, Zaxbys needs to have a comments section where the orderer can request number of plates, cups, napkins, utensils and bags of ice.

Only allows you to pay via credit or debit card. How hard would it be to add the ability to accept gift cards?

I love this app and I order from you all the time. Yet you don’t reward people for being a loyal customer, nor when I signed up for the email club, I never got my free entree. It makes you not want to order anything on the app.

Great app except doesn’t remember most recent order - reverts to initial order which is obsolete. Would love the ability to add a comment for customized order. I always add blackening seasoning to my zalad but app won’t allow any options. Otherwise is a simple and useful app.

I try to login in even reset my password and it says I don’t exist how is that possibly? Did I delete my account by resetting my password or did the FBI delete my account cause I love chicken a lot?

Zaxbys is always delicious and reliable. Love the app!

I enjoy ordering ahead of time but I wish you could pick up in the drive thru

Hate how you cannot remove drinks from meal plans. It’s a rip off and no work around!

After several attempts to use this app I’ll be deleting. Won’t accept any valid credit cards and gives no indication why.

I downloaded the app and was able to easily order and customize what I wanted. The app told me my food would be ready in 10 minutes, so I headed to the restaurant. In the drive through, the employee confirmed there was a mobile order under my name and asked me to list the items to ensure we had the correct order. When we arrived at the window, she handed us a bag with a partially correct order. We told her about the mixup and she said it would be corrected. She came back in a minute with another order, but it still wasn’t correct. Using the app caused so much confusion. I deleted the app and will not use it again.

App would be useful if I could order the only item I purchase at Zaxby’s- a grilled filet without the sandwich. There’s options for extra tenders and stuff but not the option just to order a filet. Really wish this could be added.

Love Zaxby’s! The chicken is the best fast food I’ve had. The only thing wrong with the app is you can’t order from different menus at the same time. I wanted extra sauce for my onion rings, had to purchase at pickup.

The biggest loss for the app is the ability to quickly re-order previous orders which I used to tout to other developers - McDonald’s and Taco Bell now do it. This app was doing so great until I had to sign again, recreate orders, and add the same payment method again. Please use touch ID and Apple Pay to avoid these two problems in the future. Looks like the ability to view the details of previous orders is also gone.

Downloaded this app because i absolutely LOVE Zaxbys and just moved from CT (there were no Zaxbys near me) to NC, unfortunately the app doesn’t seem to be more than an order ahead feature( which i’m sure is great) however i was looking for more perks and functionality. I’m always looking for a bargain and ways to earn free stuff, so a perk to gain points and earn food would be a great addition for those who are frequent customers. Till then, I will still be a loyal customer (this is my go- to for chicken and sweet tea!), but the app doesn’t prove to benefit me.

The screenshot in the app description says food will be ready when I arrive. I waited 11 minutes after arrival before I asked the cashier how long it would take. This was after seeing other people order and get their food first. Nothing in the app says to tell them when you arrive, so they did not begin food prep until after I inquired; 11 minutes after I got there. Food prep took less than a minute... Should the cashier have asked why I was sitting there, if I needed anything? Maybe. Also, no option to say “no toast”, or “dine-in or carry out”. Should allow email through the Gmail (or other) app, or provide email address. Instead of having to go through “Mail”.

Going through the drive-thru would have been faster. Get with it Zaxby’s!

The app seems to be great but I cannot customize my order. If I do not want any sauce included on my sandwich, there is no option to select “No Sauce” or “Plain”. An update is needed for this app because not everyone wants the sauces that available. Give people the option to not have any sauce at all. Thank you!

Omg why can’t I customize my sandwich? I wanted to add cheese to a chicken sandwich but no!!! I can’t add cheese or bacon to a sandwich I mean isn’t that a 101 to making a food app? I mean subway has a better app!! I mean take some tips from other food apps and do a complete upgrade! I wish I could give this app 0 stars. If the team that created this app needs help I don’t mind sending screens shots of what’s needed... geezzz 🙄😡🤬

Makes ordering and pick up so convenient it’s little or no wait

Have had this app for some time, I decided to give it a try, placed a order, went to the nearest location and no order was there, had to go to a newer location that was farther away;-( And to top it off when I got home they left out the Cole slaw;-(

App doesn’t cache images so it has to re-download them every time they’re displayed. Visually it looks nothing like an iOS app. Asks for credit card info in the app instead of using Apple Pay. Overall poor experience.

This is just so inconvenient. Doesn’t seem to save your old orders so you have to reorder every time.

It used to have the favorites, and you could just click on it. It doesn’t reorder last order. Need to work the kinks out. New version is horrible. Takes five minutes to place an order

Placed my order , and they said the card was “declined” its not in the order history so it didn’t go through but it still managed to take my money 😑 I want my $10.77 back!! $11.00 gone ..

This update is good evidence that one should not fix what is not broken. Although a nice addition is expanded ability customize the order, a glitch that the app says that all items must be from the same menu. There is no other way to order. You choose your meal and customize from that one meal on the page. There is no way to order from different menus when you choose a meal! I can no longer use this useless app. Sorry Zaxbys. Other restaurants have apps that work.

There isn’t enough options to edit what you want or to write a note if you need to make an adjustment

The app is fine. However, I have used it to order several times and several locations and find that when I walk in to pick up my order they look at me like I’m crazy and don’t know what I’m talking about. It saves me no time. They begin making it when I go in a ask for it because they didn’t even know about it. I probably waste more time on the app ordering instead of just going in and ordering when I need to anyway.

Every single time I open the app, I either have to login only to be informed my password is incorrect (I always save my passwords on my phone), or I completely have to recreate an account. It’s always something. At first I thought it was me, but I’m noticing a pattern here. I just attempted to login, and it said “email not found”, so I had to recreate. Last time I had to rest password, but it found it. It’s like they completely loose your information somewhere on the back end. If you’re promoting the app as a way to “save time”, your failing miserably. When you can actually login it’s great, but logging in is always a hassle.

Can you tell me why they wouldn’t have the Kanis road location? Seriously just wasted 15 minutes of my life, thanks!! Couldn’t even choose what drink I wanted on the app either

One of my peeves with websites is when it is poorly designed and it opens with text only, then adds images as you try to read the text and constantly keeps expanding and moving links and text out of click reach. This app does the same thing. If I'm on a cellular connection I don't need to see pictures of all the menu items, I just need to be able to open the menu and select the items I want! As I tried to click on items to order them the pictures loaded and kept scrolling the list down as I tried to click! what the crap! Also, if I want to order more than one of the same item (e.g. extra fingers) I ought to be able to go to that item in my cart and change the total. Not in this app! Have to keep going back to the submenu and wait for picture to load then scroll down (as it keeps jumping out of reach!) to the item and select it again! (Try this: be on a slow cellular connection and try to order four extra chicken fingers. Sheesh!)

The website is poorly designed and the stores that are located near me don’t even show up.

Can’t order anything tossed in sauce. Kinda a signature item on the menu but can’t use the app for.

It’s only good for order ahead. No customer loyalty program. In addition to the obvious flaws it’s not user friendly either. Just deleted. You guys should download chick fil a app if you want to see how it’s done.

When you use the app to order it crashes. I thought I made an order I go to the restaurant and look at me like I’m crazy I’m looking at my phone is showing me that I ordered then I refresh it and there’s no order s***** app p*** me off

I tried twice to get a password reset. Not in inbox or junk.

I love Zaxbys but the app is awful and I have had the worst service ever at the commerce avenue location in LaGrange GA. They said my food would be ready at 5:11 and it’s 5:35, I have still not received my order. This app makes me want to stop going to Zaxbys.

Very fast time saver

Easy to use with no issues.

I saw my order ready behind the counter, but the cashier just gathered it up and went back to taking new orders. I wasn’t even acknowledged.

No iPhone X app makes the company seem out of touch and out of date. Chick Fil A was early yo adopt iPhone X support. It looks bad on the company.

I’ve used the app 5 times. Every time I show up to pick the food up, I still end up waiting... it’s as if they wait till you show up to prepare the order. Several Other customers come in after I do and STILL get their food first! I often even have to mention I’m waiting for my order more than once. The final straw was the last time! Ordered at 502pm. Went to pick it up at 513pm, didn’t get my order until 531pm.... at least 5 other people came in after me an all got their food before me. Even another online order... s**** this app! I don’t need this type of negativity in my life!

The latest update took away mobile ordering. Might still be possible but it requires you to log in. When I tried, it said I had an account but failed when I tried to log in. Sounds like far fewer trips to Zaxbys for me.

No way to request special orders...err

Every time I’ve placed an order, something was wrong.

There is no incentive to eat more Zaxby’s... no QR code to scan when dining and no rewards to earn. Waste of an app.

I guess I’m an eternal optimist, but I thought “oh well, just because all these other people had issues with mobile orders on the app doesn’t mean I will.” I was sadly mistaken. I placed an order via the app, arrived at the restaurant, came inside and sat down. I watched as a couple walked in, placed their order with the cashier, and then received their food before my order was called. Annoyed, I walked up to the counter and asked the status of my mobile order. The cashier had no idea Zaxby’s even had an app, let alone if an order was pending. She turned and asked the kitchen manager(?). The manager kept asking if I had a “confirmation number”, which is not displayed on the app screen. Then another member of the kitchen staff walked around to the other side of the kitchen and found that my order had been displayed on a different kitchen screen for 11 minutes, unnoticed. I finally got my food made after all this. Terrible experience. I likely will not use the app again for a long time, if ever.
