Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMLove print but one look at iPad version of this mag really makes me want to subscribe digitally. App maximises interactive features and allows you to see all images (most) large. Incorporation of video is also great. It is the best magazine app I've seen so far.

Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMThis is a fantastic magazine offline. Online you have to manually type in recipe names before saving/bookmarking. But when they upgraded the app, the hours I spent saving recipes were all wiped. I had to restore all my purchases, without the bookmarks. I contacted the magazine who pretty much said their clients would all have to start over. Not wasting my time again only to have it happen during their next upgrade...

Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMBUT I agree with the others that it's misleading to say it's a "free" app. They should be up front like the other mags and say what it really costs. Otherwise, I like it and prefer mags on iPad not on paper
Bici007's Review of Gourmet Traveller
Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMExcellence in an App. I have been a subscriber for the last 2 years, and to most all ipad based, top food magazines written in english and italian. Our large US food magazines are still trying to balance content (generally a theme around bacon) and the technical abilities of the App (failed recognition of subscriptions, no downloads, flat content etc)....take note...this is the world-class model. Well done. If you're a true gourmet, home chef, love food & wine, are a traveller who saveurs the finest with a bon appetit, look no farther. Even if you want to see excellent execution of an ipad published document of any sort - this is the best I have come across.

NP999's Review of Gourmet Traveller
Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMThe online iPad version Should be free for existing hard copy magazine subscribers... Doesn't really give you this month's issue to "see how the mag looks". You still need to purchase at $5.99 per issue. Good idea to complement my mag subscription but not when you have to pay for both versions.

Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMTo read this magazine I'd normally have to subscribe to the paper version & have it shipped from Australia to the US. I appreciate that I can buy it electronically from this app. The navigation took a little getting used to but once I got the hang of it I quite liked it.

SoCalMum's Review of Gourmet Traveller
Reviewed on 8/30/19 1:48 PMThere are some magazines that just don't translate well from the print issue but Gourmet Traveller is not one of them. The pictures are awesome; the articles, brilliant and the recipes, simply divine. As this is one of my favourite mags, to have it on hand wherever I am is a real treat. I used to tuck the print issue away in my bag (it's my staple carry-on reading matter) and curse when I'd forgotten it but now, it's always with me regardless of where I am. The cost of the in-app purchases are negligent and since the e-version is less than the printed version it's an even bigger bonus.
