iPhone X and this app does not work. Tried the mortgage calculator, general loan and more and when I update numbers nothing computes. I save numbers and it gives errors. Was recommended this from a friend and it works on her phone but not on mine.

Thank God the old version is back. You shouldn’t have to use a username password and email just to use a calculator. If you want to make money simply sell me the app I would buy it. And I prefer that to selling my data.

This version is just better overall than the new version. It would be great to have an update for the iphone X screen.

This app is great but the crashes are happening too often. Plus get optimized for iphone x

Really solid tool, but constantly crashing with 11.3.1 on both iPhone and iPad. Also iPhone X screen resolution still not supported.

May be cool. But, it keeps crashing. Of course the latest Apple update crapped all over my phone.

I love this app. Does almost anything you can imagine and is still pretty simple to use. UPDATE 6/30/17: I wrote that review years ago and nothing has changed. This is THE best calculator app out there. Also have it on my Android phone and is just as good.

Have used powerOne for years on multiple platforms. Really like its RPN capabilities. It works as well as my name-brand financial calculator, and it has the benefit of adding templates to expand functionality. Net is, I'm obviously very happy with this app.

Love this. If you use it as a calculator, it's great. Take advantage of the customizable calculators and it's just amazing. I Work in medicine, and I built dosage calculators that I use daily. Enter in my patients weight and bam, every med I use regularly is calculated out. Truly invaluable if you think outside of the box.

I use this for various things including the calculations for the Bridge City Anglemaster I bought it for. As I have used it I have found it much more user friendly for all calculations than anything else. Highly recommended

Simply the best. I have been using it ever since it came out on the now ancient Palm pilot.

With all the formula templates in their library you would be hard pressed to find anything better. This has replaced my old HP calculator. Excellent app with great support.

I have been using the premium version for years. There are tons of different useful calculators inside of the app. I mainly use the basic calculator set up as an RPN financial calculator (HP 12c is my daily), which works perfectly. The mortgage calculator and loan amortization calculators are awesome, too. One of the best investments I've ever made.

I used to use HP financial calculators every day. But this app does everything I need and much more. Simple to use, nice user interface, well priced, this is the Calculator app you need.

I've been using PowerOne for probably about a decade and really like it. Great for time value of money and related financial calculations - really like the templates for many common scenarios. Also feel good having this on my phone/iPad, and encouraging the developers to keep up the good work! :)

After buying a few other calculator apps I've finally found "the one" and this is it. It has everything I want.

I work in finance and rely on powerOne every single day. Getting the pro version is well worth the small investment since you can download templates others have created. I am just starting to build my own and already can see how useful it will be. Building your own templates looks and is initially confusing. If you want to build your own templates I highly recommend downloading the simple overview (~15 pgs) and the detailed manual (~200+ pgs) from the developers website. The value that powerOne has provided to me, academically and professionally, is WAY, WAY more than the small price for the pro version. I know the dev doesn’t make much, if any, $$ off powerOne which makes me appreciate what they do even more. No matter your profession or major powerOne can and will help you in life. I do most of my calculations in Excel templates that I’ve set up, but when I’m away from my computer or iPad Pro Excel is very difficult to use on my phone. That’s where powerOne comes in. I also use it if I don’t already have an Excel template set up and don’t have time to set one up. I just have to search the library for the calculation I’m working on and can have an answer within a few minutes or less. This is especially when I am visiting with a client and need to solve complex calculations on the fly. For the devs of powerOne, keep doing what you’re doing. You’re awesome.

Essential application on my smart device that provides information to support personal and business decisions. I'm an engineer but picked the finance version cause it helps me in areas where I need the most help.

I use the FE version. Just got it, by chance, when I was looking for a basic calculator with ability to calculate loan payments. It's really pretty cool though. I can have a clone of the spendy financial calculator I used when I was studying for the CFA test, the graphing calculator I used in college for the trig, and the one I used for calculus. I can calculate ROI, CAGR, Bond yields, and a whole bunch of stuff I wouldn't know how to use anyway but, it's cool that it's all there in one place if I ever do.

I needed a financial app to compute mortgages, auto loans, and auto lease rates for personal use. This app meets that need with an easy to use interface. No need to remember a complicated procedure. I would recommend it to friends and relatives.

After many years using PowerOne Financial Calculator, it has never disappointed. I have tried others and, for me, none came close. I go to it, on one device or another, almost everyday.

Finally had to breakdown and pay for it! Worth the $$, very helpful to my customers and myself when talking through scenarios on a deal. Being able to email the results for quick reference, is great for my customers to review and have a hard copy of the numbers we discussed.

I have been using this for years and think it is the greatest. I use it for mortgage calculations and it is handy and accurate. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I have many calculator apps on my various devices, but this is the one I always go to first. Very easy to use, great selection of templates to solve a myriad of problems, plus the ability to design and write your own.

I like the versatility of the app. Plenty of calculators. I really don't need any other.

I have used this app for years. But when are they going to update it for the 6+, 6s+ & 7+???? How long has the 6+ been out?? Come one! I would give it a 5 star if they would update it.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, everything you've read about this app is true. I too have been using it's older siblings for more years than I can remember and cannot imagine a better financial/business/general purpose calculation application, but the developers continue to surprise! Each new release adds more and more functionality and finesse to make it easy and enjoyable to use. Really needs to have Bluetooth keyboard support for iPad version.

And it lets you select RPN! Winner.

Best calculator on the App Store. Easily worth the price.

I generally like this calculator, and use it frequently for "time value of money" calculations. However there are a couple of problems. First, it does not support multitasking on the iPad (I use the iPad Mini 4), which to me is critical for any calculator. I need to use it with other apps that are generating numbers. Second, the calculator itself has a few odd quirks. For. Example: the +- function does exactly the same thing as the - operator; it puts a - sign at the location the cursor rather than changing the sign of the last input number as normal calculators do. Neither functional nor useful. Similarly the square and square root function don't operate on the last input number like a normal calculator although the xth power of y works that way. I still haven't figured out how to get the xth root of y to work in any way. No matter how I input it returns a "syntax error" alert. I haven't tested other advanced functions to see if they work normally. If multitasking was added and fixes for calculator functions were made, I could give this 5 stars.

This is the best financial calculator out there. Hands down don't search anywhere else. The developer cares about his product, and it shows with the work he is doing!!!!!! If allowed by the App Store I would gladly pay a yearly subscription for this app. I use it every day for both business and personal use. It even comes in handy for less obvious tasks. It came in handy for currency conversions in Sweden this summer.

Use the financial software all the time. Great software. I have created several of my own templates. Thanks for the flexibility.

I have tried many but this app does all I need and is always reliable.

I first started using this calculator for school, and now it's my go to for for more complex calculations in daily life. The online library allows you add additional advanced calculator functions from finance to engineering. I love the fact you can build you own too. Very powerful!

Wow! Much better than the Palm version that I had been using for several years. More intuitive, with very smooth operations. And, there are help screens all over the place!

I really want to give 5 stars but the lack of split view support is withholding it. This seriously is my go to calculator and number cruncher. I love writing new and useful functions. I hope you will upgrade with multitasking soon. Looking forward to it.

I’ve used this for years for real estate financing analysis as well as for personal loan calculations. Has always worked well on my iPhone which is now at iOS 10.3.3. It does seem to have a problem with frequent crashing, however, with iOS 11 on my iPad Pro 2017. Even so, I still give 5 stars as it is a great app which has helped me make several quick financial decisions.
