I've purchased over 500 apps from Apple's App Store and this is the 1st time that an app exceeded my every expectation a thousand fold! No kidding, I'm usually happy when an App Store purchase merely makes me feel like I wasn't robbed. Whereas fraud is the rule and customer satisfaction is the rarest of exceptions, Colordodge Labs is to commended for their integrity. Now as far as the App itself, it's a mind-blowing artistic adventure. I've created countless "works of art" in a wonderfully relaxing, intuitive and pleasurably responsive enviornment. Although the $1500 Apple got from me when I purchased my Ipad Pro, they have lost me as a customer forever. Apple’s greed is literally offensive. But, I’ve found closure with the purchase of this App. This is the experience of excellence that I’d expected. Thanks.

I saw “Update” for UZU and got all excited. Why would I get excited about an up date for this? Well, I thought maybe the developer would finally add 1080p internal video capture. That is the ONLY update UZU really needs. Nope. Still not there. Wake me when it happens. Should be a standard feature on all visualizer apps....sigh...

Love Uzu. Have used it for years. I have a 12.9” iPadv pro 2018. I cannot figure out how to change screens. What’s the secret?

Plus one on a play to the music option...and also would happily kick in something extra for for it.

When I try to use the screenshot feature, the app closes and I lose my piece...I have to take an actual screenshot from my device.

I love this app. Really cool visuals but it’d be amazing to be able to share with more people. If you could share the screen with a smart TV similar to how streaming sites a share screen for video, I think that would be a lovely addition to the app and would allow people to do amateur VJing

12.9” iPadPro, iPhone8plus, and 4k TV all look beautiful and the app is stable. It would be appreciated if the app gets some update-love for user-reassurance and/or a new app incorporating some of the art at colordodge.com. Responding to MIDI messages or the internal speaker would be fantastic. No doubt there are some quirks that probably have their roots in limitations of the original iOS the app was developed for. Be that as it may, of similar apps I’ve downloaded Uzu is the most beautiful. Apple should buy this app or hire JKS and incorporate some of his ideas.

This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write an App Store review. This is absolutely brilliant! It’s an addictive high tech cat toy for humans. Love it! I leave it on autoplay when I’m not using my iPad to give my screen something to do. There is one killer feature it is sorely lacking, however. Please please please include a checkbox in the Options Panel that makes this app capable of reacting to music when it’s in autoplay mode. It would become the first iTunes visualizer you could interact with. I wanted that feature within the first two minutes of using the app for the first time. I even turned on music to see if it was sound aware and was bummed when it was not. If you made this feature an in-app purchase I would happily pay $10 or more for that capability. Great work!!

I love this app and I was so excited to see it on a big shiny new screen, but I was so confused after I opened it for the first time on my new iPad Pro - I thought there was something I’m missing, some sort of gesture to show the menu! The visualization looks beautiful, but I can only play with the one initial screen. Please update this soon, I want to make my own again!

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." An app that takes up less space than one mp3 that can create beauty on an infinite scale takes my breath away. This new version has autoplay! And new presets, and a quick way to cycle through all the presets, and some crazy mad tweaks I haven't figured out yet. Thank you so much, you really have created an oasis of calm in a truly crazy world.

This. Trust me, fellow wanderer. Get it and see for yourself, not worth reading another review. Such a beautiful little app. Can tell the makers use and love their own product. Wonderfully designed, easy to use, yet powerful enough to do what anyone wants it to. I absolutely love how the simple taps, touches, and motions of my fingers provide such a deep level control, it comes so naturally and always turns out looking amazing... at times, it feels like you’re creating universes! Just too cool! Cannot wait to watch the jaws drop when I have people over and casually cast this onto my TV. Not sure how to do that yet, but there MUST be a way! My only recommendation would be to make that s***** easy, and... Ability to integrate it with wireless color changing LED lights (eg Philips Hue), so that you can immerse an entire room great vibes between music, visualizer, and lights.

I've loved the app since it originally came out, ages ago, and the v3 update is clearly the best yet. I highly recommend it for anyone. That said: I wish it had full screen support for the iPhone X form factor, especially given the form factor is likely extending to all iPhones releasing this fall. It'd be an amazing way to visualize and show off the beautiful X screen.

I bought this app in roughly 08 shortly after I got my 1st pad and still 10 yrs later I still adore playing with it. Create beautiful images, easy to store pictures in I photo app, and make terrific wallpapers with this app. The only limitation is your imagination. I highly recommend this app it is well worth the memory space and the cost. So get it you’ll Be entranced!

I've been using uzu since the 1st gen iPad was released. It's always been a great app for relaxing and entertainment, and I'm glad to see it receiving dev support after all of these years. I've enjoyed this app on my own, but even better, my kids love it; something fun and creative to do together.

I really love this app. It’s very entertaining and it has enough options to keep things fresh and fun. The only thing else I would really like to do would be to remove the hud so you can see the whole screen while using it. If this happens it’ll be perfect.

I've been a fan of this generative art app for a long while, and I had wondered whether it would be updated to work in Apple's 64 bit iOS universe--I'm so glad the developer decided to extend Uzu's life, and perhaps in doing so, broaden its appeal to new users. My only wish would be to allow the controls to be hidden so the entire screen is awash with beautiful graphics.

Salt Water Taffy. I'm so in love with that preset and the app. I could watch it for hours.....

There is nothing this app can’t do. It’s colorful and awesome and just so much fun to use. However, I fell like some of the patterns, or things you can use, repeat themselves. I would love if you got a little more creative with so of them. Other then that, this app is a total thumbs up 👍 and amazing. I hope that anyone reading this gets the app and enjoys it as much as I did. Thanks so much!!

I'm so glad that the developer of this game decided to update it. I've loved this app for years as it was one of the first I downloaded when the gen 1 iPad was released. Was so excited to see an update for this. Highly recommend this to people and most of my friends now have this on their phones. (Would love to see a return of the "randomize all" from the previous version too but it is what it is.)

This was already a great app, but the new update is incredibly amazing! Such a tremendous improvement of both settings and presets has made it so much more fun and immersive. Love the colors, and amazing graphics! I highly recommend this app to anyone who likes colorful graphics and interactivity.

The very best time spent alters your experience of life. I had this after playing with an app called "Faces" which sketch artists use to draw composites of faces to identify someone when a photo isn't available. Speaking time with lots of different f***** features trying to recreate the faces of people I know altered what I then started noticing when I looked at people with my "new" eyes looking for details I previously wasn't noticing. This app UZU with its depth of details, visual creativity, and thoughtful gestural controls achieves an engagement with the potential to likewise discover thur play. I applaud the author's achievement and appreciate what it must have taken to bring it this far. Thank you!

Uzu remains a sophisticated, delightful and refreshing app, one I turn to often, when I've not a mind for anything else. My turn back to Uzu is along the lines of "I wonder what would happen if I start with the dynamic, unpredictable pattern "A" and adjusted the knobs (parameters) for B and C. What then?" Uzu never disappoints, and I've blown another 30 intriguing minutes ! ----------Earlier Review--------------- The best of all possible Apps for the IPad. Spend two minutes with the presets and blow your mind. Beyond that, the fun has just begun and is open-ended. If Apple mgt as smart, they'd buy the company and make Uzu the flagship factory pre-set App. This App WILL go viral, just by people showing off what it can do. (From stunned onlookers: "Where the h*** did you get that ?"). This app, run alongside with Spotify music of your choice will do the work of a Professional Therapist and Indian Mystic Guru combined.

I have used several of the major particle type apps (Ions, Silk, Prism, etc) over the years, and Uzu is by far the most customizable, beautiful, and fun to use of the bunch! So glad it has been rescued from oblivion, and am looking forward to future updates by the developer. In the same level of quality as Frax, another masterpiece app based on fractals. Highly recommended!

What appears to be a simple visual "toy" is really much more complex and customizable! Wow! Love it! Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen and you'll see what I mean about it's complexity.

I've loved this app since it first came out, and really appreciate the update to 64-byte as Apple will be deprecating 32-byte apps this fall. The new features to help capture and save the motions you create are great.

This is my go to app when I need a mental break. Both relaxes my mind, and jazzes up imagination. I like to use it when playing my 15 minute meditation tape in the a.m. Also it just fun to play with. Recommend with 3 thumbs up

I LOVE this app. I was really worried that it would stop working due to lack of updates. Now that it has been redone with proper 64-bit support and an even more intuitive / powerful interface I can rest easy that one of my all time favorite apps will remain on my devices. This was actually the first app I paid for when I got my first iPad and iPhone. It was worth every cent and then some!

Great visual entertainment! However, where are the instructions about how to save your own formula? I press + to add a new title, but then if I press Done and then make changes in the design parameters and color choices, they don't "Save". What's step one, then step 2, etc. Thanks for your quick response! 👏👏👏 After I wrote the review I thought, maybe it works in an opposite way to what I thought. So I chose a preset that I liked but wanted to tweak. It worked! Love that the user can create their own. It would have saved a lot of time & frustration, however, if a brief paragraph of instructions were included. Hoping you'll consider adding one next update. Changing my 3 🌟 🌟 🌟 to 5 now that I know how to do my own presets. Thanks again!

This app is awesome. Every time we go to my great aunts house me and my brother play it. But I found a glitch with the flux capacitor. You can see a cut off line between 2 of the sides.

Please add 120Hz support because the particles appear very choppy, also please add a gravity gesture where particles follow a finger with a delay like a rubber-band

I love this app. It's like a fidget toy for my iOS devices. The patterns sort of remind me of Japanese floating illusion art. I love creating patterns with it while I'm on coffee breaks at work, something just very relaxing but intriguing about the patterns and visuals. This update is really well done and the developer has fixed all of the little things that would trip me up while using it. Thanks for all the hard work into getting this out!

Love the app - it’s fascinating and soothing at the same time. Almost like me-time meditation while creating some beautiful art. The visuals are breathtaking! My one suggestion would be to add a chrome cast button on the app so I can get this on my TV for more people to see!
