I cannot utilize my DirectTV account anymore. Pushes me to this app that will not allow me to log into my account. Why am I paying for this c*** if I can’t use it. Less than a zero star rating!

I like using my DirectTV app and now it ONLY opens to UVerse which I DONT have and DONT want!!!! WHYYYYY

I have left Comcast/xfinity and was hoping for equal or better service. Your channels are all over the place for no reason whatsoever. Your app does not let me see all of my channels on my iPad when I am home, which is not good. Your stations that I watch on your app get hung up and have to be restarted. Your app is inferior to the Comcast app in these ways and more. I was promised a monthly bill of around $140/month. Your first charges to my account have been so discombobulated that it is a sin. I will see in a few months if you live up to your promise or if you did the old bait and switch. If this app, and if the channel situation does not improve in the next twelve months I will go back to Comcast. I let Comcast because of the deal you offered me with my wireless and your promise of superior service. So far you have not delivered. If you live up to your promises I will let as many people as I can know that, if you don’t I will let everyone know as well. You have eleven more months. Next problem. I recorded shows, but I cannot watch them. Then if you go to recording options on the television, the screen locks and you can’t get out of the record options without unplugging and replugging in the tv.

A few days ago it suddenly wouldn’t connect to any of my receivers. Keeps telling me no gateway found. I’ve done all of the restarting, reinstalling and it still won’t connect.

all of a sudden the remote wont connect to receivers. Rebooted turned off reloaded everything...nope. Hello app bug!!!! Fix it

I’ve been using this app for a few months. Sometimes it can take a few minutes before it will connect to the tv or I have to close it and reopen it. Today it hasn’t worked at all and says gateway not found. Super annoying. Back to the remote which is constantly missing because our toddler likes to hide it on us.

I can never set up my phone to work as a remote there’s always errors with that. Half the time I can’t watch anything on the app because of error messages and now supposedly my phone doesn’t support infrared to be able to use volume/power button even though I have no trouble using the roku app to control my roku tv. And now I’m supposedly not connected to my wireless gateway and service is “temporarily unavailable”. Seriously this app is a waste of space and if I could give it negative stars I would.

I have used this app since 2012. When it works it’s OK, but far too often it can’t connect, and says “U-verse wireless gateway not found”. Very frustrating that it’s so unstable.
