i don’t know if it’s for everyone or just for me but the app doesn’t come through with my headphones which is kind of annoying but i really love this app and do recommend it, just not when you need your headphones in.

Carl doesn’t talk

I am a 60 something grandma and I have more fun sending friends and grandkids personally recorded messages with this goofy Carl. I got it free from App Advice and I’m sure glad I did. Just click on the microphone, say anything, listen to it and send! You can even change it before you send it if you change your mind. The voice doesn’t sound like you it sounds like Carl but it’s easy to understand and very cute 👍🏻

I used talking Carl for a long time, but since the last update, I can’t open the app on its own. It shows up for me in text, but I can’t open the app.....

Hi, Tayasui. I’m a big fan of talking Carl. I love him! But the thing that would make me love it more would be to make it free for a limited time. This is so people who want it but don’t have money for it can get it free and they all can have a good laugh. So, Please! Make it free! Please! If you do, thank you!

I’ve been playing this game on my mom’s phone since I was three. Now I have my own phone and I was surprised to see that the game is still running. This game still gives me nostalgia of my childhood. Overall this is a hilarious game with so much meaning to just a video game to me.

My young grandkids lived Carl, but when the ‘bad’ Carl showed up, I was not happy. The boys are still very impressionable and things like “Shut Up” get repeated without understanding. I removed the app. We are all disappointed.

Ever since watching that YouTube video of multiple Carl’s, I had to see if it was true. And yes, yes it was. I install on all my devices, and let all the Carl’s talk to each other. 😂😂

My daughter with Autism is inconsolable right now. WHY IS THERE NO MORE CARL PLAYING DRUMS OR GUITAR!???? App Store says it's no longer available. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

I’ve had this app for a long time and love the new stickers. But please come back with the record-feature and bring some new features, too! It kinda gets old although it is still very cute.

We love talking Carl; however, I just updated to iOS 11 and the app won’t open because it says the developer needs to update it to work with iOS 11. Can you do this, please? Thank you!

I’m nearly 70 and fully functioning intellectually. The description made me curious. I find Carl adorably amusing. I’m still discovering his many tricks and talents. I don’t think I will soon —if ever—grow tired of it. Jolly fun!

Added a lot new features to coral but he still cool my four-year-old loves him like I did when I first downloaded them

I downloaded the app, paid the dollar for it and it doesn't even work! The messages won't send and now any message thread I tried to send one in is stuck in text message and won't go back to iMessage!! Waste of a dollar! If I could, I'd give this 0 stars! Terrible app!!

This is the BEST 99 cents I have EVER spent!!!! It is IMPOSSIBLE NOT to laugh with Talking Carl!!! And, the Talking Carl stickers for iMessaging (YOU can only SEND them if you have iMessaging, but ANYONE can RECEIVE them...I think???) are also soooo much fun!!

After buying the IAP it stopped working. Now I can't send a movie message.

I really am having fun with this and if you get two phones and they hear each other they’ll copy each other overall a good game

This app is so annoying it isn't even fun for a few minutes.

This is cool but I don't understand the point. It doesn't tell how to make it into a text message but if it did I'd give it a higher rating!! Just update it and it'll be great!

I used this with my kids and they loved it, now the messages will not send. Pretty useless these days.

This is my 2 year old granddaughter's best friend. Every time she sees me she asks for "Car-lo"! She carries around my iPad with Carl talking back all the while.

Talking Carl helped my dad recover from Alzheimer's...He's still has Down syndrome tho!

I really enjoy playing this game it's awesome and the best dollar I have ever spent but it copies ever single sound it hears literally if you are breathing through your mouth it will copy you it is just disappointing The end

My two yr old thinks this is the funniest thing and plays the same thing over and over, giggling the entire time! I think it's a little too loud and "in your face"! I do love that he repeats your comments and the music options are entertaining.....for a few minutes. Thank you for bringing Angry Karl back, although I don't feel his attitude and behavior are good examples for toddlers. Cute concept, great graphics, but not an app I encourage for frequent play. I'm really glad I got this free!

WASTE of my money, it lags to much and set u back to your home screen

I used to love this game as a little girl, and now that I have found out that it works w/ my current version of iOS, I am sure as heck gonna download it ASAP! Thank you for making such a super awesome game and all the laughs that came with it!! Love you guys!!

So I got the app, and I had no idea what to do! The voice playback rarely works and when it does the sound playback is a fuzzy! This app is filled with 2 or 3 s***** features that have NO value whatsoever! This was a total waste of 99¢!

Certainly my experience with the app is difficult to say the least. It lags A LOT when ever you leave the app Carl yells good by very weird it is still in my mind and haunts me. Everything it does, it acts like it has problems it is weird. Please you will not be satisfied, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP. Thank you for reading and have a great day!

i LOVE talking carl. such a fun app. i love having conversations with him, although he does tend to repeat me quite a bit....

This game is great, and I’ve had it for a while, but it’s getting boring. It needs new features. I think you should be able to edit your Carl, and add things to it. Maybe even get achievements for certain things.

Somehow along the way, Carl changed too much and the developers took away fun features. Bring back old Carl!

Cute and funny app I just wish it was more responsive and not as laggy

I’ve had Carl since it came out many years ago… And shared it with all my family who have also downloaded and enjoyed it… Recently however, it was taken away from the apps that are in my text messaging, for easy access, where it was something you could tap on and record quickly and include in your text messages. With the latest version however, that feature is gone… There are stickers in its place with your fine but the fun of Carl is the voice so I am not using it at this point. I have written them but got no response as to how I can go back to the Last version so that I can have that feature again. If anyone out there knows how to do that, I would be so appreciative and would begin to use Carl once again.
