Won't work without update. Won't let me update my iPad mini 2 to iOS 10. Can't use this year. 😪

What’s the point of having this when the local games are blacked out? Sometimes, I’m away from home and not all places show my COWBOYS or any other games. I have the directv app installed but it does not have ABC, CBS, NBC or local networks on the app. It’s pretty much useless in my opinion.

I have downloaded the nfl Sunday ticket for iPad app and rotated the screen in all directions updated the iOS to 12. It has been not working since after week 1. Called direct tv support got no help they cut me short since I didn’t have service just the nfl ticket service from when I signed up online. The chrome cast only works if I download the regular Sunday ticket that is made for iPhone or Android. Not sure why the iPad app for Sunday ticket chrome cast is disabled or something help please.

Requires update to latest app but older IPADs aren't compatible? I have an iPad mini original which isn't eligible to update to IOS 10. Bring back support for older IPADS!

Here are a couple of problems that need to be fixed: 1) Add option to turn off instant highlight alerts. These alerts are so late, they’re useless, so I would like to turn them off. 2) Make the app more stable. It often freezes and I have to do a hard exit and restart of the app to get it working again. It doesn’t handle multitasking very well, so I would rather just have that disabled.

Well I can hear the games not watch them making it not as exciting. App and iPad are fully updated and have already reinstalled twice. Guess I’ll be missing this weeks games... would recommend if it worked.

Why black out some g@mes? Show them all!

Super frustrating. Every key plan in the game you are watching shows up as a pop up explaining what happened BEFORE they show you the play. Stupid. DirecTV is terrible all around. This is just another example. If there is a setting that can turn this off, great, I’ll go find it now that it ruined my first game with the app. Awesome. Thanks, clowns.

They advertise this as easy to use, with seamless switching between devices. But it has no auto logout feature, is buggy and prone to crashes. I’ve spent 20 minutes rechecking all my devices because I made the mistake of trying to move upstairs with the game. Easily the lowest quality streaming app out there, and miles behind Netflix and Hulu, which despite their own flaws, can be used with little hassle.

I have tried watching games three weeks in a row and every time towards the middle of the game it’s has cut off. It has nothing to do with my internet speed of devices. I have to log in numerous times and continues to not allow me to watch. I paid for a service and feel like I got scammed. #UnhappyUser, #AppNotReliable.

Love the app only bad thing is when I travel I cannot hook it up to the tv at the hotel no streaming allowed. I have to watch on iPad. Big screen would be nice.

I only use them because I have to! What’s the NFL other networks, I will immediately canceled the service with DIRECTV. They are the least flexible customer service group of all “cable” companies.

For some reason I can connect via hdmi to a tv. Not sure why.

Watching on mobile app because the channels on my tv have writing all over the screen I.e. purchase options: buy $49.99. Since I already paid over $200 I expect a refund on my next bill for this weeks games.

Great app, but too many restrictions. Some games blacked out on Sundays. Thursday night games not available, Monday night games not available. Let’s make it all inclusive, no hidden gimmicks! Thank you.

Just started watching NFL Sunday Ticket and could not let me stream more then one device for my family to watch. Please allow more than one device to use. NBA LEAGUE PASS does, why dont you?

I shouldn’t have to log in ever time I turn on the app... The good apps will just recognize the computer or tv and log you in automatically... pls your app has flaws.. it sometimes doesn’t recognize the “actual” email and password.

The app stopped working on both of my iPads 2 weeks ago. When I try to login, I get the message “Sorry about the interruption. We’re addressing the problem ASAP.” This has has not changed for 2 weeks. It works on my mobile phone, but it will not work on either of my iPads, after working fine the first several weeks of the season. 1 Pad is on iOS 12; the other is iOS11. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Same result. It’s unacceptable for the app to be inoperative for 1/8 of the season and counting.

Error every time I try to login on multiple devices. Not a password issue but it's ridiculous. Usually my phone works but now that has same error. Terrible developers on this app.

Love that I can watch any game - but it's so frustrating when the video delays get so bad that the Announcers have told me what happens in the play before I even see them hike the ball. Please fix this!

Crashes and systems down

Unfortunately, they often have maintenance updates on sunday for some reason. Currently can’t log into the app because they going through ‘system’ updates so I can’t watch football. What a joke. For the crazy amount you pay for 17 days of football, you would expect it to work those 17 sundays.

Paid my ridiculous fee for out of market NFL games. Week ONE. House full of people to watch Dolphins/Titans game and it streams for exactly 60 minutes. Then switches to the Giants game and stays there. No explanation. Apparently the billion dollar DirectTV organization was waiting for little ol’ me to inform them they’d dropped their broadcast. They’re working on it - unfortunately the entire third quarter is at least history. This is the problem with these monopolies - consistently c***** service and glitches, and customers have nowhere else to go. Comcast is even worse.

Season three for these thieves who consistently put out such garbage code that launch is less than a 50% proposition each week. Had to download, delete and re-download four times before it would work. Forget it with Apple TV. Last season the app wouldn’t work until week 3, and all technical support could say is “we’re continuing to work on it, sorry about that.” Nearly had to file a small claims suit before Sunday Ticket would credit the first two weeks. It took nearly two hours this morning of deleting and re-downloading app, and eventually opening a third account before it work. Despite the hype, these folks are still a significant distance from providing stable, reliable apps for Sunday Ticket, and they have no real competition so mediocrity and garbage customer support will rule until real changes are made.

NFL Sunday ticket for directv now loses everything directv had. Streaming only. No dvr. No hdmi viewing with iPad. No. No. none of the above. Total disappointment.

Apple must be deleting Bad reviews! This app is absolutely terrible no matter what device you use it on. Freezes, constant buffering, and the audio is constantly falling behind the picture! And shame on DirecTV for charging people $200 for this!

NFL Ticket is a must have for football fans! It is great to be able to watch any game but esp if you live in the part of the country, where they seldom show your favorite team. And love that you can use it on mobile devices. Love, love, love this!!

Seriously...how can you expect people to PAY for this service that cannot supply viewing of EVERY game? And NO PLAYOFFS???????? This app is useless!!!

Second weekend in a row that I cannot sign in because of issues Direct tv is having with this app and the directv app. They have acknowledged that they are having issues and have yet to fix the problem for over three weeks.

I have a 5g router and the fastest internet speed on the market and the picture quality is still crap. I'm not expecting HD just where its watchable. My verizon NFL aol has at least 4 times better picture quality and its free. Total waste of money

I've paid for this 3 years in a row and shame on me. I might as well light $200 on fire. Each year it's the same. The viewing experience is just awful. Constant buffering. The stream locks up at the beginning of a play and restarts 3 plays later. Just unwatchable. It's unconscionable they charge hundreds of dollars for something this poor of quality.

The server is simply too unreliable. Losses connection at vital plays, but works in HD quality during commercials. This will be my last year signing up.

Tells me a new version is now available, have the most recent version and it will not work. Please fix!

For two weeks in a row, cannot log in. Spent 3hrs on the phone with technical support last week. On hold for 30mins already this week. Last week, was promised resolution within 48hrs, didn't happen. The app and the company is a joke!

Sunday Ticket on the AppleTV 4 is the most garbage app out there. Crashes or loses connection multiple times every single Sunday. It’s the worst streaming experience I’ve ever had. I can’t believe I paid this much for League Pass only to end up with this garbage every Sunday. If you are a developer responsible for this you should seriously consider a career change.

Great app. Love the reviews for an app that clearly says DIRECTV SUNDAY TICKET and then complain that they can't watch Thursday and Monday games. That and blackouts are controlled by the NFL not DIRECTV, so why complain to Directv about it?

I would give it five stars if they had the game mix like they used to. It would be nice to pick more than one game to watch. Also, it would be nice if you could use the app on more than one device at a time.

Constantly buffers even with great internet service. Connecting the iPad to the TV via a HDMI cable results in a smaller picture than the tv size. For as much as this service cost it should be a lot better. It almost makes me want to quit watching the NFL.

Stream feed stops frequently and sometimes doesn’t reconnect till after a few minutes.

Love the app, I like being able to have multiple games going within the app! I would love to see the ability to slide boxes to the larger spot, and the stats for players doesn't seem to load stats realtime...only an issue for Fantasy players like me

One problem is having to log out of a previously used device before allowing access to another device. Why can’t a logout happen when signing into a new device? Not having that functionality is the only negative. Thank you.

Rarely works. Often fails while running. Have too regularly force quit and reopen. This is when in my house on wifi, on LTE on 4g, on iPad on iPhone. When it works it is great. That is why Randall Cunningham is retired and not in the hall of fame. Update 9/2017- was getting decent but now crashing on open on my iPad Pro 10 inch on the first Sunday. Ugh.

I have used DTV to enjoy the League where they play for pay since 1993. As a Big Blue fan who moved from NY to Cincy for work going to a bar every week made no sense so for me I have loved watching the development of the Ticket! Keep Up the good work DTV!

Their tagline says any game anytime. It's a joke. You can't get night games, Monday games, Thursday games, today I could not get the Packers or the Oakland game due to streaming rights.

The picture is darker than when the tv is in normal mode. Also the audio is behind by about 1 second. I know, nitpick. I can live with both. Enjoy

This app is good when it works, but it’s been completely unusable for the last two months. Every time I log in, I get an “unknown error domain” message. I know I’m not the only person experiencing this. I’ve called DirecTV and they had no solutions and blamed it on the developer of the app, which, I hope you’re sitting down, is DirectTV. They said they’d email me when they found a solution. I’m still waiting on that email. I’ve updated, uninstalled, changed my password, etc. and nothing has worked. I used to love few things more than streaming games on my iPad every Sunday. Since October, that’s been impossible. It’s frustrating when something you pay for doesn’t work and no one offers a solution or remedy to the situation.

This app works excellent on my iPad. It is a great bonus for watching Sunday NFL ticket as a 3rd device in my room which I have to TVs setup. This also works great to if I am away from home and can catch up on the games. At times there may be some lag and some permissible delays, but that is to be expected. This is a live tv stream and cannot rewind as though you were at home. Possibly NFL rule but it is in the agreement. The app provides in picture option is great while looking up stats or fantasy football in others app which allows you to go back to the games easily. If the app is the only availability on Sunday to the games because you are never home, then this app will not provide the full experience. This may not be the best use of your money. Otherwise it is a great bonus.

Seriously you get the bare minimum of statistics in this app. No player-by-player stats, just team, and even those few leave much to be desired. There's no rewind feature, or "go live," nor pause. It's like this was made in the '90s internet days when all you got for anything were bare bones. It really makes one reconsider getting Sunday ticket next year. Comparing this to MLB At-Bat app is like comparing a children's you model of a space shuttle to the real space shuttles. Or more appropriately, like comparing Kansas University football to the New England Patriots.

As if the NFL Sunday ticket package wasn’t expensive enough, if you want to use this app you need to pay even more for the MAX package. Oh, if you want to watch the Red Zone and Fantasy channels, that’s extra too. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised given the amount of subscribers that DirecTV is hemorrhaging.

The app annoyingly won't allow multiple devices and it hardly recognizes when you shut one down to start another making it difficult to stop watching in one place and start in another. I'll probably go back to RZC on Sling next year.
