MoviePass has the worst customer service. First it’s impossible to talk to someone via phone or chat. Then when you do, they are rude and not helpful at all!!!!! I loved the idea, but I HATE the company. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

The app works fine. The one star is basically for the poor quality of the company. Purchased a MP subscription on April 30 for both me and my wife (2 subscriptions). They only offered a 4 movie a month plan (not the unlimited). They made me pay for 3 months at time even though they advertise a month cost. Two days later(before I even got my card) they bring back the unlimited plan. They offer no phone number to contact so I use their chat feature on the app. I ask how to get switched over to the unlimited plan since it was purchased only 2 days prior and is the exact same price(and again, I have not even gotten the debit card they send to use). I was basically told there’s nothing they can do and then they ended the conversation. They have the worst customer service. I can’t even cancel my subscription because they won’t refund any of the money because the only way they would let me purchase the service was 3 months at a time. Absolutely regretting buying from this company.

This was great for 4 months, then they upgraded the app and it wouldn't work with my phone anymore. The company just says "Sorry, too bad, no refunds". So they've reneged on 2 months of what I paid for. There's a class action lawsuit here, lets see some lawyers take advantage of the opportunity!

As a movie lover I was so excited to get MoviePass. But when something seems too good to be true it probably is. MoviePass sold me a monthly membership where I could see one 2d movie of my choice each day. Now it’s their choice. If I want to see a movie again I can’t. Which means when friends ask if I want to go see the film I say no. I don’t go out and see other films I’m not interested in. There’s no benefit to having a pass that only lets you go see one movie a month. That’s what the value of this has become.

I’ve had better customer service at McDonalds. They have no idea what they are doing and will swindle you if you aren’t locked into a good plan. It’s insane how bad their customer service is, they won’t be in business long if it keeps pace.

The updated app is horrible. Please change. I am always having problems seeing what’s playing at the theater I attend. Concourse Multiplex Bronx 10451 since the app format was changed.

the service is awesome for now! The APPLication however is difficult to apply. It’s very simple. The location functions aren’t very good. It’s very archaic. Please do better! app is getting better but still a bit clunky. WORST OF ALL, The only reason I wanted this moviepass situation was the ability to view good films twice. This is very lame. SUGGESTION: I would rather give up my daily movie ability for the four a month if i can see the same movie twice.

The system worked well until I had a problem with my card. I’ve been trying everything to get my card replaced and no one answers. Please write me back so my card can be replaced. Otherwise I will be denying charges... thanks

I simply love this concept. Its a game changer. I love it and recommended to everyone else out there. Watch as many movies you like and explore new theaters. What more can you ask for in 9.95$ ?
