I currently have cable, however, it is only in our living room. In my bedroom I have an Amazon Firestick. Almost every single network I subscribe to on regular cable offers everything and more on their apps on the Firestick. There are of course a handful that either do not offer all of their content or do not do so for Comcast. That to me is very annoying, because I pay a ton of money for cable and have been doing so for many years. Also, all of the movies on here are older and the main reason I subscribed to this was to watch the Christmas movies. On my ondemand cable in the living room I am able to watch all of the Christmas movies, but this app doesn’t have any of them (I like to watch tv in bed for the most part). I refuse to pay for extra cable since I really don’t have any issues streaming things on my Firestick, so why pay for extra with Comcast? They do offer a hallmark app for cable subscribers, but it doesn’t offer many movies at all. I love hallmark movies, which is why I gave 3 stars. Still debating on whether or not to keep my subscription once the 7day trial ends.

I would give you five stars for content; for offering films I can’t find on DirecTv or broadcast television. The only thing holding me back is that I have not been able to load the service on my Samsung Smart TV. I will contact you folks again for help, but I wish it had loaded as easily as on my iPad, and television with the Amazon Firestick. Otherwise just love it!

I do enjoy the Hallmark Movie app, but i was expecting at least semi-current movies as well as all prior. I guess I expected new movies released earlier in the year as well being as i pay for this app, and the new releases are free on my current Dish Network pay TV. So basically, i can watch them on Dish that I pay for monthly for as a new release, but I have to wait and pay for them again through the app, and wait for them to be available.

I love the app and the options available. I travel a lot so I was happy to see that I can watch using in-flight internet. Thank you for offering the mobility!!

Technically problems! Movies not updated! Bad customer service! All around bad service. I paid for 1yr movies were out dated, technically problems that no one fixed! Customer service is awful!!! Don’t waste your money

I really do you like this hallmark app and also the convenience of having it on both my phone and TV. It’s easy to select and watch a good, fun, and clean movie. I do wish however that they showed current Christmas movies that are on the hallmark channel.

Wish they offered more of the films, CBS app is the same cost you get live TV all the tv shows and the seasons from way back. Wish was the same deal. I love signed, sealed, delivered, but there is no way to watch anything but season one. More features

The movies are really outdated and old, also not a big selection for the price - please add more and recent movies!

Although reasonably good movies to watch it is extremely difficult to find and watch the movie you want. Logging into the App on my phone was easy but I finally had to call tech help to get the App to work on my TV. Once I talked to tech help in their service hours they were able to connect the App on my TV. Later, I tried to connect the App in my media room and I’m now having the same issues. Another problem is my phone App lists movies we would like to watch but my TV App doesn’t have these movies even after scrolling through their extensive listing. There was no “search” function on my TV Halmark App. These issues should be easy to fix.

There is not enough content to make the app worth my money. I will not be resubscribing. Specifically not enough recent content. I understand not allowing all of this years movies and shows but there should be a significant amount more recent content to make it worthwhile.

So thankful to get to see a variety of great clean programming for an affordable price. What a relief! We do NOT buy Cable or Satellite because the content of 99% of it is trash. This is excellent!!!!

We love the hallmark channels. We know we can get a movie and or program and watch it because we know will not offend us or precious Lord and Savior Jesus! Thank you for a truly family friendly TV channels. Please never surrender your standards in order to reach out to more. More is not always better.

I thought this would be a great way to see all the new movies they release for Christmas since I don’t have cable. They do not upload their new movies apparently. Very disappointed.

If you have to pay a subscription fee you ought to get all the movies not just the old ones. Also would like the movies on the hallmark movies and mysteries channel

It will be great if you can also watch all the previous movie from Hallmark Channel. You are paying for the membership, but you still have limitations.

I love being able to watch Hallmark movies on my phone and iPad. My only complaint is that the selections are limited because they leave the same shows and seldom add new ones. So when I go in looking for something different it’s the movies I’ve watched a couple of times or more.

I subscribed because I thought it’d be a great way to access some of Hallmark Mysteries shows but I was completely wrong. All of the movies offered are old, none of the Garage Sale Murders movies or Murder She Baked are available. I wasn’t expecting the latest installments but at least the first few would’ve been awesome. I can’t believe people really pay $5.99 a month for this but I will definitely be canceling.

I love Hallmark’s Movies Now! Such a great value. Quality family movies and tv series to choose from! Thankful for it.

I downloaded the free five day trial of this app a couple of days ago because the movie plays fine until we hit the Chromecast button, and then it refuses to show up on the tv. It either continues playing on my phone or completely pauses and looks like it’s loading on the tv, but nothing ever happens. The only reason for two instead of one stars is because the movie selection looks great. Would be nice if we could actually watch them though.

I have tried this service several times, but find the content to be outdated. Not the content I was hoping for (recent Christmas originals, etc.).

The biggest disappointment with this app is that it uses so much data, my data rolled over on the 5th of the month and on the 11th which is 3 days of having the app my data was almost to 22 gigs and I looked at my data usage and watch a movie that was an hour and 40 mins and it used 4 gigs of data compared to a movie that long on Netflix or something that uses .2 gigs

I gave this a three because as much as this app cost there should be far more Christmas movies. We cut cable a few months back best idea we ever had except I couldn’t watch my Christmas movies. When I saw this app I was so excited but then let down because there aren’t many movies to pick from.

Very disappointed that Hallmark isn’t providing access to 2018 Christmas movies without cable subscription. I’m willing to pay for content but not paying for a full cable subscription just to get Hallmark Channel. They need to follow the HBO, Showtime model of on demand with monthly subscription directly with Hallmark app.

However I can not open the app in my hotel room.

To sad that I decided to spend the money on a monthly payment to see the latest Christmas movies but it’s not offered. A joke.. cancel/definitely not happy nor Recommended

The app is great and functions well. Easy to navigate, sometimes glitches when I go from watching on my phone to watching on my computer saying I’m watching on more than one device even if I closed out on the other device. Other than that no issues on function. I love watching Christmas movies and came here for just that. I signed up last year and was EXTREMELY bummed to learn that the new countdown to Christmas movies were not on there. This year I’m even more bummed to learn that last years movies are not on there and there are barely any new movies from what was on their last year. I wish that you would do one of two things. Add more new Christmas movies to the movies and mistletoe section or make a movies and mistletoe app so we can pay for just that. I’m even ok if I have to watch them a year behind but currently I don’t get to watch any of them at all and I don’t think that is fair for 5.99 a month. I would love to hear back from someone about this. Thank you for your time in reading.

My 9 year old girl is in tears because she thought she could watch all the Christmas movies if I paid for the subscription. WRONG!! What a waste of $5.

The streaming service and app don’t offer the 2018 Christmas movies. It’s a rip off. Why wouldn’t they offer the newest content when I’m paying for it???

Love the wholesome content of this app. Just wish that it had more of the current Hallmark channel programming. I subscribe to Hallmark channels via my cable provider and must log in to the app with my cable credentials to view programming on this app so...why not make more current programming available?

I definitely Love 🥰 this App and I have recommended this to all my friends. I’m a huge fan of Hallmark and to have it on my phone it’s ultimately amazing.

Not only does it not have current movies, it continually gives me a playback error. I can’t watch anything!

I wanted to watch Christmas movies just like I do with my kids every year. So my daughter found this app for us and we were thrilled! That is until we sat down and started watching it. We were very disappointed that the movies were so extremely out dated my kids couldn’t even get into them. Really hope hallmark takes this into consideration before next year comes around. I would have just continued to watch the much more current ones on Netflix had I known!!

I like this app and it’s work well. Haven’t had any issues with streaming and all that. But I would gladly pay another 2-3 dollars a month for them to kick up the content a few notches. Make the subscription like $8 or $9 per month and start adding all your new stuff to it Hallmark. Including holiday content and all that. I’m sure I’m not the only who would be willing to pay a little more to be able to enjoy all of your content and not just older stuff.

If you want to watch a Christmas movie they play on live tv, good luck because they only have a select few. The newer good ones from live tv are not available on demand, which is not fair because you are paying for the service. Also- the app has ability to cast to chromecast, BUT... it doesn’t work!! It shows up on the screen like it’s loading but never plays. YouTube tv plays just fine, but this app won’t play for casting. I let it attempt to load for 30 minutes before I gave up. I tired on multiple casting devices and it didn’t work.

In the description it says that you will have access to all movies and shows from every Hallmark channel but inside of the app, a company video says otherwise. This was the only reason I purchased this subscription and now, I only get 2012 and older movies! Not at all what I signed for....

Just give us the channel for this kind of money already! Can’t watch new content on here and app is awkward. The search is useless. I appreciate having a few things to watch recouping from surgery but I won’t renew. Cable companies need free market competition!

I don’t get this....I can watch live feed of new movies on hallmark channel everywhere website but those new movies are not available on a paid subscription 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I gave this app 2 stars because l am a fan of all hallmark movies but come on hallmark you can do better!!

We do not subscribe to cable or any dish service. Rather, we watch everything via Netflix or network apps. Thus, we were very excited when we saw that Hallmark had an app, as my wife loves all of their Christmas movies. However, much to my wife’s dismay, we found that none of the 2018 movies are available on the app. Devastated is a decent descriptor for how she felt. Why would a network create an app and offer no new content? Needless to say, we are canceling our subscription and alerting everyone we know not to subscribe. It’s unbelievable that this is an issue, given that so much viewing now happens through streaming services and apps. If I could give this less than one star, I would.

I was so excited about this app, but it is soooo sluggish. I was able to get movies to start on my phone, but was unable to cast them to my tv. The app would just spin and spin, and never played. Disappointing. Had to cancel.

I’ve spent almost 48 hours waiting for it to work. Steel people’s money and then doesn’t work.

Really enjoy the great selection of Hallmark movies. Love the “classics” and the new additions. Will recommend to everyone.

You can’t even watch Countdown to Christmas!!!! They will just send you alerts every time the are on TV. Super annoying. The only thing this app does is scam you out of $6.

Like the Hallmark Movies Now app, but would love to have some of the mystery movie series offered.

So far I love it! I can watch a movie on my roku and switch to my phone and it picks right back up! Some of the movies are old, but that is ok because I haven’t seen them before any way!

We are working on cutting the cord and it is hard to find a way to watch current offerings on Hallmark or especially Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channels. I mistakenly thought this would be my answer. Don’t be drawn in if you want anything current. Some of the series are so old that even the picture quality is bad. I love all the mystery movies offered on their Movies and Mysteries channel on cable, but they are nowhere to be found on this app. Another major problem is how clunky the app is. If you start a series, and there are many episodes, it doesn’t pick up where you left off! It takes you back to the start of the series every time, so you have to try and remember which episode you are on. This might not seem like a major problem unless you are elderly and have memory problems, and struggle with using technology, like my mother does. She is the main reason I subscribed to Hallmark Now, and it is totally worthless to her the way it is set up. I wish I had not subscribed to a full year. She cannot watch it unless I am there to help her every time, unlike Netflix and other apps that automatically pick up on the episode you are ready for. I did try to explain this problem to those who are there to help, but they didn’t seem to understand my problem at all. There doesn’t seem to be any help for this. Has anyone else had this problem, or is there something I am missing?

We don’t have cable so a subscription to watch the current holiday movies seemed like a perfect idea... WRONG! This app gives you no current content released by hallmark and they fail to tell you that. On top of that, a lot of the old content they do offer is really poor quality so if you have a HD TV of any kind it really doesn’t matter as the movies appear grainy. Will cancel for sure before the free week trial is up. Honestly, this app should be free instead of charging $5.99 a month to watch crap.

I love Hallmark, and look forward to the countdown every year. The movies provides happiness. It puts smiles on peoples faces. The only thing i wish is that the hallmark movies now had the hallmark holiday countdown movies as well. Some people cant afford cable. Thats why i have this app. Please add more movies, there the same thing say in and day out. Nothing new and exciting. Maybe 2 new movies a month is all i get to see. I would love to see more movies. It would be cool of it was a hallmark app with all the hallmark movies on it that doesn't require cable and is at Netflix price. I would definitely pay that price.

It is so great to be able to turn on a tv show and not have to be concerned about what may show up on the screen. Thank you Hallmark Channel for a family viewing channel!

You never have to worry about sketchy things and I love the romantic movies the most! So totally worth the monthly subscription!

Todays movies is full of violence, sex, and disappointment. Hallmark brings happiness, joy, and entertainment to there movies. I love Home and Family. Yes most of the time I will know the ending of the movie and that Is ok. I would like a little more mystery for their Movies and Mystery series so I can not figure out the ending. Nevertheless, I have had a lot of sadness and stress this past 2 years. I am sure a lot of other people have too. I turn to Hallmark Channel when I feel down and sad. Try it, you make think the same. If not, fine something that brings you happiness. Thank you Hallmark for being there for me.

This is a wonderful app, and one of my favorites. I only wish it worked with Lightning to HDMI adapters soI could enjoy it on my big screen tv.

I love to watch the Christmas shows, Good Witch, and When Calls the Heart. Other than that, I don’t watch a lot of TV. I was hoping that Hallmark Now would stream the current shows, but it doesn’t. Very sad and frustrated. We have fun as a family watching these shows.

No one wants these old movies. Give us the new stuff.

The content is not the content that you want. Half of the moves are old movies that run on every channel and are on Hulu, Netflix etc. Not worth it. The 7 day trial was a sham. I signed up and set a reminder for a week later, looked at my account and it said my “start date” was to weeks before! Waste of time and $6!

I love the APP & can watch the movies I choose & or be informed something (new) is going on !

I love the app but it would be nice to have newer movies as well as older ones. Other then that I love hallmark. My absolute favorite!

Even if we are far away... we can “watch” the same movie and talk with each other like we are right next to each other!

This is allowing me to see a lot of movies I have never seen because they only show the newer movies on the Hallmark channel. I love it and have been telling all my friends about it!

I was hoping HMN would be similar to Netflix and be an avenue for watching the Hallmark Christmas movies. But, the movies on this app are limited and very dated. I was hoping that the monthly subscription would provide the recent movies being advertised on the Christmas countdown promotions. Bummer.

I purchased the app because we have YouTube TV and do not get the Hallmark channel. I downloaded their checklist app and none of those movies are on here. They only have older movies. Not what I was expecting.

We watched a couple of shows for the first time. Enjoyed both and will comment again if things go south.

Disappointing....Hallmark has so many good movies but none of them are on here. It seems like all the movies are older and just not as good as the ones you see on the hallmark channel.

This is nothing like the Hallmark Channel if you expect to see new movies. They are reruns on reruns on reruns and reruns with little original content. The worst part is I didn’t make it through the trial. And I cannot get them to stop billing me. It is so hard to find a way for them to stop billing me. Enter into this with your eyes open that you will be disappointed and you will not be able to cancel easily.

Purchased this to watch current Christmas specials as they came out since we have cut the cord on cable. The advertising on the site is very misleading and gives you a false sense that this is possible. Only after writing customer service and being directed to a link in the app is this even addressed. Was hoping for a lot more but really glad I only purchased the month to month so I can cancel now without a huge loss. Wish they would change this for people who don’t want cable or have a special add on purchase for just the current Christmas countdown content.

We chose the Hallmark movie app so we could watch our favorite Christmas movies but some of the older movies are not available. It would be nice if we could chose the older Christmas movies. The app purchasing through Apple was easy to download and the annual subscription was reasonably priced. After the app was downloaded user friendly to operate.

Extremely disappointed with this app. I work full time grave shifts as a nurse but LOVE Hallmark Christmas movies. This app provides an okay selection but I got this app so I could catch and see all their new holiday movies but quickly found out I am unable to do so. I have the hallmark channel but don’t have DVR so I can’t watch any of the new movies unless I catch them airing. Which doesn’t ever happen as I work night shifts. Won’t be paying for this app that’s for sure.

Hallmark Movies Now (HMN) features some of the older movies (approx 1998 to 2015, I’d say). And has great movies for Christmas and other holidays. It also features comedy, romance, and drama series that I haven’t seen elsewhere.... For the kind review titled “I Don’t Get It”, you may be interested in Hallmark Channel Everywhere (HCE) which is another Hallmark app — it features their newer movies. So you get to choose your venue by choosing your app.... Customer Service is Excellent! Each time I’ve had an issue or question, they replied and fixed it in 24-48 hours. So... the Hallmark movies I want to see, and prompt courteous service, all for $5.99 a month. I’m Blessed! Thank you for creating Hallmark Apps! 🦋✝️🌸🌼🌸😀 Elizabeth

This app states it has Hallmark Channels Movies and Specials with new titles added all the time. It does NOT contain specials like the royal specials. And it does not have countdown to cmas. You have to have cable or invest in another app not Hallmark to watch those. The customer service rep just told me that this app is OLDER movies. Don’t waste your money. At all.

I do wish someone would continue the Little Men series. Keep up the good work!

I am so thankful for this app. This is where I go to enjoy watching a good and decent story. There’s not much of that out there

My wife and I really enjoy Hallmark’s content. I wish I could say the same for our experience chrome-casting their Movies Now app. We can’t even get it to cast from either of our iPhones (both of which have the latest iOS) or from her iPad. It just shows that it’s searching forever. We finally got it to work with her MacBook Pro, but the audio is a full second or two behind the visual. I hope Hallmark can get this issue fixed. We really want to watch during this holiday season!

I’ve watching and loving Hallmark Hall of Fame movies for years. Skylark and Boys Next Door are a couple of ma favorites!

I LOVE Hallmark Movies Now because you can watch any hallmark movie anytime and I Love Hallmark so why not watch it more.

As a new “cord cutter”, obviously a concern of mine was how I was going to get my Christmas movies. Found this app and after about an hour, I realized that this was not what I was hoping for. For a paying subscription, there should be a better, newer selection. Overall, very disappointed and did not even make it out of the free trial. Bummer Hallmark!

Their are very few mysteries. I signed up for one year and when I went to cancel they would not let me for another year of this disappointing network. Make sure you read the fine print.

So if I want to pay an extra $5 a month on sling I can get all the new stuff but if I want to pay $6 a month on the channels app where the majority of the money goes to the network I can only get the old movies and shows. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I guess like many of the characters in your movies you guys lack common sense.

Now I can watch all my favorite Christmas movies without setting the DVR or missing the it.

I have to agree with other reviewers, this app needs better, more recent movies, especially Christmas movies. This app has nothing but old movies, nothing within the past 5 years at least. I saw one other reviewer mention Hallmark’s other app but you can only use it if you have a cable subscription, not if you stream all your tv like I do. Sure Sling has it, for an extra fee, but sling is terrible. So that doesn’t leave any other options. Hallmark really needs to become more stream friendly since that’s what most people are turning to now. All that to say, either start adding the newer movies to this app or include the other app in the subscription. For now, I’ll be sticking with Netflix and Hulu for my Christmas movies

I love watching the great movies and looking forward to the new Christmas movies.

While I have not had any real problems with the app in general (aside from occasional freezing) I am a little disappointed in the content. I bought into the subscription hoping to be able to steam Christmas movies as we no longer have cable. However, the selection isn’t great and most movies are years old. I understand there is another Hallmark app but that is only for those with cable, if I had cable I wouldn’t be subscribing to this on a monthly basis. The app is good in theory but the content could definitely use some updates. 🙂

I got rid of cable and went to YouTube TV. It doesn’t have Hallmark and it’s not Christmas without all those Christmas movies! Unfortunately, all the movies that are coming out this year aren’t on the app. It would get 5 stars, if those were movies were added.

It’s 2018 no one has cable, you are seriously missing the mark by not putting any of your new Christmas movies on here. I don’t mind paying to see them but at least put them on the app

Love all hallmark movies I think I seen them all even the Christian ones low budget ones they all have a meaning to them and I like happy endings in movies because it only happens in movies and Christmas coming up so I know they will be playing all those yeah can’t wait:)

Very disappointed that it is all OLD movies. My provider doesn’t offer hallmark channel so I was excited to have this option. I am glad to learn this on the 7day free trial. I will be cancelling my subscription.

I enjoy watching hallmark movies. It is refreshing to watch nonviolent movies for the whole family.

This app does exactly what it is supposed to do, which is a pleasant experience because there are no unexpected and disappointing surprises.

I just got it because I don’t have cable and live watching the hallmark movies. It showed that you could cast the stuff to the tv, but it won’t like me cast it. Even though I have a smart tv. Although the movie just finished on my phone was great!

After contacting support, I bought a Chromecast specifically because the app could stream to it and not Apple TV. NOW they’ve stripped out the ability to stream to Chromecast and you need an Apple TV. You can stream to Chromecast from Chrome on Mac or PC but your only option is to do it as a Remote Desktop so you see your tabs, pointer, any dialog boxes and your computer cannot go to sleep. I would get an Apple TV but then they’d probably pull support for it too.

In 2018 when people pay for a streaming plan, they expect to have full access to that channel’s catalogue and new content. Instead this app offers only random movies from like 10 years ago. Ironic that Hallmark presents a wholesome image and then perpetuates a scam service like this.

This ad is wonderful, and easy to use. I really like the interface and am super excited about the download feature. Just in time to enjoy the holiday movies.

I love Hallmark movies so naturally I had to download and subscribe to the Hallmark movies now! I was pleasantly surprised to find that this app offered older Hallmark movies as well! When I was a kid I would always watch the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies with my Mom and rewatching these classics brought back great memories! Thank you Hallmark for offering the new movies as well as some of the classics on this app!

I cannot get this app to cast from my phone, so I cannot watch things on my tv.

Thank goodness I canceled the free trial. I love hallmark and wish I could find a way to watch the movies since we canceled tv. I would pay for the other hallmark app but it doesn’t give you that option and you can only log in with a tv provider. Get it together hallmark! People want to watch your movies but your not giving them that option and we are willing to pay!!

Just got the app and its not what you think, im a christmas lover of the hallmark movies and hallmark in general but you pretty much have a selection of maybe 6-7 christmas movies if that and its all really old stuff, even used the search bar to look for one from last year, yea doesn't exist.... dont waste your money on this .... what first popped up was newly added “steel magnolias” dont waste your time or money on this!!! Pretty bummed i do love hallmark just not this app!!!!

This app was a disappointment due to its many issues. Among the issues: - Resolution quality of recent movies is low. - Difficult to search, unless you know the title. Cannot search description. - A lot of the screen wasted on graphics instead of providing a nice big summary of the movie. - Most annoyingly cannot view movie with iPad connected to TV with Apple’s Lightning to AV adapter. The app runs fine with the adapter until you play the movie. Then only get sound and no video on the iPad nor TV. This defeats the purpose of viewing the movie through iPad.

I just downloaded this app today and began watching one of my favorite series. So far I’m really liking it!!

I’m tired of watching reality shows, cable shows a lot of junk, tired of all the profanity, nudity, shows that I can’t watch with my family. Hallmark gives me something decent to watch. Love it

The viewer offers no way to easily skip forward 10-15 seconds and freezes when sliding the viewing timeline, even with great internet service, very frustrating. Also, only old movies are offered and not a lot at that. With the free trial of one week, you will pretty much see what you want to see out of this app and not want to subscribe. Great idea but needs a lot of work. Needs a more versatile viewer and the ability to preview would be really nice too (not currently offered). Needs a greater selection of movies and shows if going to support subscription worth and costs. Ideally, it would be nice to subscribe to Hallmark directly to watch current Hallmark movies and not have to go through a cable provider. That’s what I’m really wanting. Apparently, that is not yet offered by Hallmark.

We ordered a years subscription on this app because we were trying to reduce our cable bill. My wife loves the hallmark channel, however, this app is not a replacement for the Hallmark channel on cable. I wish I could get my money back.

Love there movies wish they would be able to change the selections but overall very good.

There is nothing current on this. If you are wanting a replacement for cable Hallmark channel this is NOT it. They need a (better technology quality) app for people who want to watch regular Hallmark channel movies but who do not want cable.

What a waste of money!!! The series and movies are old!!! Almost nothing from even the last 2 years. Even when they announce something new, it’s actually old. Huge disappointment.

All very old or unpopular content. I agree with other reviews saying the same. I can understand not having brand new shows, but they didn’t even have one year old things or at least the older popular. I actually found better choices via YouTube. For free. 😬. My three girls and I are huge Hallmark fans, so it takes a lot to disappoint. 😔

I am in love! I am the kind of person who loves to watch movies over and over. I love the Christmas movies and romantic comedies! This app is definitely my new favorite!!!!

Don’t get this app and subscribe expecting any current movies! The most current is a couple from last year(2107). I got this app to watch the Christmas movies of 2018 but there’s not one! And I don’t expect more than a couple from this year to show up next year. Hallmark has all their movies on dvd and they want you to buy them. So don’t spend $60 a year to use this app. Spend it buying about 5 movies! Or just subscribe to cable if you can’t live without their Christmas movies. $60 should get you a couple months of cable for the season. If only you could subscribe to cable for only 2 months out of a year. So long Hallmark Christmas movies, I’ve unplugged from cable with no plans to go back.

The app is so clunky. There's no 15-second tap advance button; have to unlock the iPhone screen-lock to watch in landscape mode; app rarely picks up where you left off from watching on your TV. The movies are old and dated as far back from the 90s!! Basically, there are only a handful of movies on here. I know first-run movies should be aired on the Hallmark channel itself - I get that. But..... those movies should be aired immediately after and made available on this service. Searching for anything comes up empty, even popular movies from recent years. Why are all the movies sitting in the Hallmark attic collecting dust while we pay for them? Most importantly: why is this service $6 per month???? Of our budgets for the streaming pie, there's far too many similar cost services - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, CBS All Access - just to name a few, that has vast endless libraries for similar or lower cost of all genres. Hallmark: why should we allocate a huge part of our small streaming budget to a streaming service that contains very little, relatively speaking? Take notes from CuriosityStream, they were charging the same, subscribers dropped off because of limited old content, new subscribers never came on board because of the cost and they couldn't hit targets, so it's now about $1.75 per month and currently on Christmas special for $11 for the year and I've since resubscribed. Google it yourself in Google news. I cancelled after one single month. I ran out of stuff to watch and no longer needed Hallmark Movies Old. I'll check back occasionally to see if this becomes a better platform and if so, I'll be back.
