The app is fine but I have an iPhone 6 and the app will not open I have tried multiple times (you need an update)!

its great but way to manny ads more than 40 adds in a episode and there isnt all of the episodes in a season honest opinion not good wouldnt recommend

The app will not load and just keeps showing the ABC logo icon without letting me access anything. YouTube works fine so it’s not internet, and I have restarted my phone multiple times for thirty mins each time.

I have iPhone 8. I uploaded the ABC update and now it won’t work. It ask me to chose my local station but does not give me an option to do so. Annoying. 😞

Too many commercials

I am so frustrated with this app. I’m trying to cast to my tv and it will constantly mess up and go to the wrong spot or start over completely. Won’t let me go back to the spot I was, and it goes through the hmy same ads over and over while I’m trying to find the spot I was in. I am so done.

It’s super annoying. Why can’t the app keep me signed in?

If you don’t have cable TV account this won’t work. Funny, I can watch GMA on OTA TV service, but not through the internet. Waste of download data!

When I want to play or pause it’s really annoying that I have to wait for it to come up and then press it again. There shouldn’t be a lag to such a vital function. I expect more from ABC.

Lousy app

I signed in with my provider yet I’m watching more ads than if I just watched it on the tv. 6 ads every 10 mins (no joke) for a 45 min show is ridiculous and exploitative smh.

The abc just spins and doesn’t load the app to view any shows. Please fix it!

It’s a pointless app if you want to watch livestream tv. I’m in a largely populated beach tourist area and it tells me I can’t watch livestream tv. Isn’t that the main point of “live” tv apps?

Love Jake McDorman this is really funny show. It hits home in sooo many ways. I missed it when it was on regular programming. I’m really bummed out won’t get to watch more when I finish binge watching this. But...thanks for the laughs I got while it lasted.

This app does not work at all. I constantly get Oops messages with no explanation as to what is wrong. I have connected it to my frontier account and created an abc account. Have not been able to watch a single show. Useless😡

We get ABC with our antennae. I wanted to check out some of the new shows, but you have to log in with a tv provider. We have Sling but it doesn't include ABC. Won't work for me.

Still love General Hospital. Good mix of older plots with new. Great actors of all ages. Watched it when my children were young. Recorded it and watched it at night, and now watch it while my grandchildren nap. It’s a nice break time story.

I just downloaded and opened and screen opens and abc just flashes for 10 mins nothing else

ABC is apparently living in the dark ages and I cannot stream live. All other networks stream live. Why does it matter where my geographical location is? I have internet. Just let me stream the ball game. Get with it and fix it ABC. I hope no other ball games are on ABC because I can’t watch them. You get an F.

Way too many Commercials!!!!!

Simply put, the app looks great and it was easy to sign in with my TV provider, which supposedly unlocked a lot of content, but nothing plays. I tap on an episode, and get a pop-up saying, "Oops..." with no other explanation. I know the episodes are unlocked, so I should be able to watch them, but nothing is happening, so the app is currently useless to me. Please address this issue, or at least tell me what "Oops..." means in this context.

Upset u. Can’t watch new shows without a tv provider

Just tried to watch last episodes of a few show from last season and the is not working. It says I need a cable subscription

I have an antenna. I went to watch the shows I missed last night because I was at work. It won't let me watch anything!! I could have sworn it used to be the day after the show aired it could be watched. Now you telling me i have to wait 8 days?? WHY are you making it nearly impossible for people to watch shows they love if they have antenna. I do this because cable packages in my area are RIDICULOUSLY priced. I want to watch the episode BEFORE the next one. Not a day after it airs. BS. The CBS app lets you watch the day after with no issue at all.

Why is it that a major market like Detroit doesn’t have live tv on the ABC app. It states that my zip code is not set up yet. This is stupid. I pay for the cable I should be able to get the show live when I am not at home.

Honestly, the app is just “OK.” They hardly new anything on it. Most apps like this keep the seasons on so you can start from the beginning if you want. Unfortunately, this app is not like this. It’s rather annoying. Sometimes you’ll pull up a show and it’s only one random episode like “season 6, episode 23” or something random like that. I’ve found a few shows that I’ve liked through using this app, however it doesn’t really do me any good because they aren’t all on it.. I don’t know, maybe there’s something wrong with mine? I use a DirectTV subscription to watch. Anyway, as far as “working” I’ve never had issues but when it comes to context, I feel it lacks in selection.

the app repeats ads on a loop for ten minutes straight.

I am honestly shocked that Apple let this app through. When attempting to watch a show, the app shows advertisements (which is fine), but when those ads are finished and your screen goes into sleep mode the app goes into background mode. When you unlock your device and double tap the home button and switch back to it, it rewinds what you were watching by 5 minutes. If you try to fast forward to get back to where you were it makes you watch the same ads over again and rewinds you back ANOTHER 5 minutes and goes through the 6 back to back ads ALL OVER AGAIN. At one point I watched 18 ads back to back (no that is not a typo, it was EIGHTEEN ads, one right after the other)! Additionally, when casting to Apple TV or chrome cast it continuously shows a translucent bar at the bottom of the tv screen that permanently says “your video will resume after 00:30” and never goes away and never changes. As an iOS developer myself, I don’t see why the developer didn’t thoroughly test this app more than they did. Update: Deleted app

I updated the app recently & ever since the update I’m unable to gain access to my shows & the app takes FOREVER to boot up.

It works good on my phine but I can’t find an app for my XBOX one. There is no ABC app??? I wanted to save battery life on my phone. On the phone sometimes it freezes up. I thought it would work better on an iPhone. Please make an ABC app for the Xbox one.

The new app update is not working right at all is not letting me get through at all

My biggest issue is that if I put my phone down for more than 1 minute and then come back, the app starts completely over. Also, like others have said, the amount of ads is insane. Soooo many!

I am disappointed in the change of the time slot for The Good Doctor. You changed the time to 10:00 on Monday’s. That conflicts with other shows I like. I always watched it at 8:00 pm. I am also very upset that you canceled the Chew. I no longer watch ABC in the 1:00pm time period on weekdays.

I don’t Like the idea that he has too many ads and I am trying to watch a movie but it’ll let me and it keeps stopping all the time

every 5 minutes you’ll get hit with commercial breaks that last over 3 minutes. I get that this is a free app but the price isn’t the issue when the app is this bad. I pay for this channel with my cable and if you need to have people signing in thru their cable provider to prove that they are paying customers and shouldn’t have to spend half the show watching ads, then so be it.

The app is trash! I’ve been sitting there fo fifteen minutes and nothing I’ve even tried closing the app and opening it again still just sitting there this is and improvement I suggest until it’s fixed it’s a no star from me

Just let me watch live TV. The rest is in Hulu. Why restrict when I have a cable subscription? Just because of your licensing? App works great, just not useful for me.

I have had issues with this problem for 2 months. I contacted support and did all the things they asked. It worked for 1 day and then it stopped working. One support person actually suggested I call Google and ask them to delete ABC from my cable and reinstall it! Why would I have to call Google Fiber to fix the ABC app? FIX THIS PROBLEM!

Take a look at your app’s operation. It’s flawed. Casting live programs doesn’t work.

Any sport but college football in particular never works. When a game is on abc and I am unable to watch on tv, you should be able to watch on the app yet otherwise it says I am always in an ‘unsupported area’. I guess all the US is unsupported?

this is the worst app in the app store, it hasn't changed since i've had iphone 4 now, and after 7 years still haven't added more cities to your list, abc network never have good shows to watch if it wasn't for sports this channel wouldn't even exist pure crap

Using the iPhone app to cast the live stream to my google chromecast stopped working ever since the last update. Non live shows will cast fine, otherwise the live stream just hangs on my phone and never makes it to the google chromecast / tv. Worked fine up until this update.

App works great and would get 5 stars if they get a live stream for the Jacksonville, Fl area. A paid version like my CBS app with extras and no commercials would be nice.

It’s great that i can watch all my shows but the commercials kill it. 3 commercials should be the max!!!! It deters me from watching more shows this way

I’ve been using this app for quite a while now. It’s been great and working well until the last update. It’s been pretty glitchy. After I connect the app to my tv so I can stream, it’ll load up an ad first, plays part of it, then randomly starts playing another ad, and it just keeps doing this over and over again for quite a while. Then eventually will load up my show and play it. Also, the closed captioning option is not working. I always hit the little icon for that and it doesn’t do anything. It’s also not showing how far into the show I am or show the line on it after it’s over to show that I watched that episode. Please fix and I’ll give a five star. It always worked great before this.

This is a great show! I hope it never goes off the air. I now have my sister hooked on it & we don’t miss a show. Thanks very much & hooray for the person who came up with the idea to have a show like this one!

I’m trying to watch livestream ncaa football. Says location is not available in my area. I’m in Columbus Ohio and using Wow internet I should be able to watch my OSU game. Pls fix this problem.

Used to be able to cast to a smart TV/Chromecast. Not anymore. You can watch on your phone but the minute you try to cast it says some show is on that was over an hour ago. Plays fine on phone but that’s it. Hope you like a 5 inch screen for football. Super trash.

I’m in San Antonio and there’s no local station available for streaming? Deleting this app, since I can’t actually watch ABC live shows on it. Waste of time.

All I get when trying to watch the live stream is Oops.....code 013-1301-608. I figured this would be resolved but has been this way for years now. It does not matter where or when I try to watch the live stream or which tv subscription I log into. Simple it does not stream live tv!

Wish I could give this app 0 stars considering it won’t load the Miss America pageant. It continuously says “we’ll be right back”. Wow thanks ABC

Every time I try to use ,I get the response no Internet service.I tried deleting the app and opening it back up but I still get the same response of no Internet service.

This app is awful. It tells me that viewing is not available in my area even though I am logged in with my dish password. Doesn’t work at all.

Alright ABC... I'm trying to stream the Auburn vs Washington football game that is in Atlanta FROM AUBURN, but it says it's not available in my location. I am in a major university town, there is no excuse for this. The app also is slow, but the "unavailable in my location" notice is just ridiculous.

Required to watch way too many commercials in between clips of shows and sometimes you get through the six ads and they make you watch six more. It’s ridiculous. I won’t watch shows on here anymore.

This app has worked twice for me before it starts popping up with this Oops Null Error. It won’t play anything and is quite frustrating. ABC needs to do whatever CBS is doing with their app because I have no issues with that and streaming.

It’s great to have the app to watch programs I can’t record but it doesn’t always work properly as it sometimes has Techncial difficulties. Also, if you don’t subscribe to a cable network from your Home base it won’t work, at least not for me. But I do have a cable subscription so it works, It will not work overseas. I gave it 3 stars because these reasons.

I was live streaming the season finale of The Bachelorette and the app kept freezing during commercials. I stopped and I’ll watch it when the post the episode. Also the app loses sync between the audio and video sometimes when the next show comes on. In my experience the app is becoming less reliable.

Best app for watching your favorite shows! I love splitting up together and American housewife! Greys anatomy IS the best show in this planet! But I can say I’m guilty of watching the bachelor series and spinoffs! A great app to download

When using this app via Chromecast, my shows skip backwards by like 10 minutes EVERY SINGLE TIME they go to commercial break. Disappointing and frustrating.

This App blocks because I once traveled abroad! I’ve tried deleting it an reinstalling with no success. App says I am out or the USA, when I am literally blocks from their office in Burbank California. I had the ABC app on my phone when I traveled in Europe, and since that time it will not work!!! NBC, CBS, FOX, CWTV, every other network’s app recognizes that I’m in So Cal except ABC. Need to fix this!!!!!

I only downloaded it because I thought they would have their ABC show ‘Forever’. It was a fun and clever show, but they only got one season (did abc even try to keep it afloat?) and so it became a “semi-cult” favorite. Kinda like ‘Firefly’ did. Last time I downloaded the app it never worked. The app looks much better now, it’s only a shame I have no reason for having it.

I’ve been using the ABC app for quite a while because is the only place I can watch some of my shows.The app frustrates me all the time. It doesn’t matter if I’m using it on my TV or on my phone. My Internet connection is fine as my Netflix, Hulu, etc. have no problem, but this app is constantly buffering. Also it’s very difficult to fast forward to the spot you were last at if need be with all the commercials and such.

There are to many commercials. I would pay $$ to watch commercial free.

I really don’t like watching all six of the ads. Sometimes they can actually interrupt what I’m trying to watch or completely stop while the ad is trying to load. Otherwise it’s not bad quality is not bad as well as speed. Thank you

I love the cbs app... abc app downloads but never comes up or starts??? Sad because some of my favorite shows are on ABC.

first of all this app is pretty nice, it works great and is never slow! but the main reason i downloaded it was to watch the good doctor, i was so excited to watch it, but when i looked at the episodes they were scattered. It went from episode 1,7,11,15 so i was missing huge chunks of the season. i am not mad but more confused.

I don’t understand why this is available ONLY in selected states and cities, that makes no sense. I live in Georgia and have had no trouble with other tv channel apps by signing in with my AT&T-U Verse account I can also still use my Direct TV log-in when the app doesn’t have U-Verse on its list of tv providers. ABC this makes you look GREEDY trying to force people who ALREADY pay for CABLE/satellite service to pay additional fees for full access to your app. This was very disappointing when I downloaded the app and made that discovery.

I love that I can choose the interactive ads in lieu of multiple commercials. It makes me feel like I’m contributing to the advertising campaign. I only wish I could provide comments in the feedback after watching the ad.

I have ultra high speed internet and this app still delivers a blurry picture much of the time. The only way to get a decent picture back is to exit the app and re-launch it. However, every time I do this, I am forced to watch yet another ad just to get back to the point where I previously was. Extremely annoying, please fix!

Good luck trying to pick up and watch a show where you left off, it will make you watch all 25+ commercials until you get to the point where you last watched. I don’t know how they haven’t fixed this yet

If they cut a show off, or your local station has to cut in for weather, don’t download this app to try and finish a show.

The sound sometimes cut off after a commercial. I noticed this too on the Roku app as well.

Can’t watch live TV through Dish so this app is almost useless to me. Can only watch reruns of shows and movies with lots of ads.

Everytime I open app, it keeps telling me "oops you don't have internet connection" this is on full LTE and full wifi. I've tried deleting and reinstalling app and hasn't worked. I'm trying to watch the NBA finals and this nonsense keeps happening. Please fix asap. FYI I'm on iPhone 8 plus with latest firmware.

Live stream doesn’t work on RCN or Optimum! Get real!

So you updated the app for AppleTV and iPhone, but you're still going to make people sign in to their cable TV provider to watch your FREE TV service that is broadcast over the air... so terrible. Your stations are supposed to be free. They always have been. That's why you have advertisers. Paying for cable doesn't change that either. In fact, it ADDS more advertisements to the consumer. If you're reading this and you have cable, you are getting ROYALLY screwed over. CUT THE CORD! The more people who do it the quicker we get rid of the middle man! Cut your cord people! Stop paying utterly ridiculous cable prices. ABC / Disney doesn't care what their customers want. They care about MONEY. People do not want to pay for TV. The baby boomer generation will cease soon and all cable company subscriptions will diminish. In addition, as soon as sports networks decide to cut ties with the cable company, there will be no more of this nonsense signing in to a cable provider to view content. I hope Fox does it first so ESPN (Disney/ABC) is forced into it. It will be a happy day for all! ABC, get out of bed with the cable companies. Easily the slowest app on my very new Apple TV. Why should it take almost a minute just to load up, then another near-eternity for live tv to begin. Terrible. Update: the only app on my Apple TV that crashes, freezes, and starts shows only after about half a minute wait. What a Mickey Mouse organization.

The app was pretty decent until this last update. It would have very few issues. Now I can’t watch anything because it thinks I’m out of the country. (Yes, I turned on my location, force closed, and deleted the app and reinstalled) I’m in Texas not out of the country 🙄

I was going to give you a poor rating for interrupting my viewing experience begging for a review. But opted to close it and move on, only to then be faced with an internal server error when clicking on my video. So then I took the time to close the app, go to the App Store, seek out your app to leave this lovely review. You are better than this.

Can’t express enough to express my disappointment with ABC network for failing to provide its viewers a live stream of NBA’s finals in 2018. Totally backwards and not innovative. Good luck!!!

How you do not have live streaming for FIOS?? I cannot watch live tv on this app

Every other time I’d try to watch live tv, I would have to uninstall and reinstall because of an error. Super frustrating when you are trying to watch something. Last time I used it it was 5+ minutes behind live. Deleting and will no longer be supporting your channel due to your double standards.

The app worked great until a recent update. Crashes mid show, screen blacks out with volume still on, and I cannot go back to where I was at when it crashed, I have to start from the beginning.

I would love to rate this app with 5 stars, i can't get engrossed in a show because it shuts down about every 5-10mins. Very frustrating. All of my other apps like this work fine

I live in Phoenix and I'm going to miss the NBA Finals game cuz I have to work! ESPN & TNT APP work wonders! Those let you watch games and tv way better I can't believe this smh why are you guys the only one showing the NBA Finals you should let TNT have the privilege if you can't even get an APP running right.

Canceling one show for a comment and not another for a person who has said offensive comment and worn offensive apparel. Your job it the air the television you make so air it and let the people watch it the ratings will tell you if they like it or don’t. Cancel then when the ratings are bad not when the people actually agree with the things being said on the show. It’s a show get over everything else if not stop making t.v.

Downloaded the app, so I could watch the Roseanne show. Now, the show's been canceled. I'll be deleting the app as soon as I watch the final episode.

When watching The Designated Survivor, the closed caption is not working. Although there is a little icon there for you to turn it on or off, it’s not responding.

Apps fine but your network doesn’t have anything worth watching which makes the app pointless.

The only reason I downloaded this app was to watch Roseanne!! But they cancelled her show and even went as far as taking down old episodes. So this app is pointless for me now.

Oh my.... this used to be one of my favorite apps. However, I now can not use it and haven’t been able to use it fully for weeks now. I can only view things that are more than a week and half old. It always just says, “Oops...”. It is very frustrating and I wish it would be fixed. Previously I would had raved about this app and recommended it to anyone. Now I’d highly discourage anyone from getting it. Please fix this app!!!!

This app is beyond buggy. The UI is laggy and not responsive. Don’t use it. Matter of fact, just delete it from your phone and other devices. Doesn’t help that race baiting, race obsessed leftists are in charge.

Super easy to use! Love that I can see all my favorite shows!

There are some shows that are available to watch, but many episodes require a subscription with a cost. There is a free episode selection, but some of the shows listed are not unlocked and free to watch, which could be overlooked. I wish more shows did not require a fee to watch, since I’m watching commercials already. Maybe one day!

As soon as they pulled Roseanne I uninstalled the the app.

Worked great for a week, but now whatever you click on you get an error message, and also needs to have a subscription plan to be able to watch without commercials.

Presentation and load times are great. However, while watching a show, the interface locks up. The video continues to play even when I force-quit the app (I can still hear the audio). This needs to be fixed and response time to bug fixes needs to be more quicker.

We live in such a serious and scary time. Why would you cancel a show that brings comfort to people. There are so many news shows on tv now we really don’t need another. If it’s something really important you always break in to what ever is on and even though that is annoying it’s acceptable . Why try to fix something that isn’t broke. Shows don't show up until late that night, if then! It takes over two days to list a show. Why list an APP if your're not going to maintain it?

When the video controls (play pause) freeze, the subtitle stop working in the middle, the device orientation transition does not work well between landscape and portrait, the app keep freezing so user need to restart it, I don’t even think about complaining that the app doesn’t persist the playhead position after the app is restarted again and again.

When the app works it's ok. Unfortunately, it crashes too many times since upgrading it!

I’m not happy that the abc app doesn’t allow me to watch General Hospital the same evening after the episode aired. I used to be able to watch it at 10pm. Hasn’t updated episodes. Very disappointed. What happened?

Make it so you can watch news live!!!!

I have been using this app for years (I used it before it required a TV subscriber). I use this app almost every day. It’s the only way I can get all of the shows I like watch in. Unfortunately, this app is super glitchy. It will work great for days/weeks and then be super weird for days/weeks (crashing randomly, inability to pause, inability to rewind/fast forward). It’s very frustrating!

Wish there was less commercials!

Constantly buffers, despite having ultra high speed connection. Definitely an app issue. Typical Disney money grab garbage commercials too.

I gave a three star because I like the shows available to watch. I have accessed The Good Doctor and there were some episodes that were locked. I gave my access info to my cable and it unlocked them. However when I click on an episode that was previously locked it says there’s an error and try again. I have tried multiple times and it still won’t give me access. I have been able to watch them at the gym but not at home. It doesn’t give an option for troubleshooting the problem either. If any help can be given that would be great. Once I’m able to watch all of the episodes I’ll change my rating to a five star.

I repeatedly have to delete the app and re download it to log back in, even though I’m already logged in through WOW it still will not allow me access or it pops up with an error message.

I understand the need for commercials but there are too many and too frequent. I have sat through 6 commercials, gone back to the show for less than 20 seconds and had to sit through another 6 commercials. It is way too many.

So convenient I can watch on the go.

Buffing happens a bunch during streaming. I continue to use it when I miss my shows.

While loving some of ABC’s scripts and characters, I often find it’s hard to choose this app on mobile devices & fire stick. People who tolerate commercials have cable, the rest of us opt out of the advertisement culture. Please consider altering the ad length or offering an option to turn off future ads.

I would’ve given this app a 4-5 star rating if it would let me sign into my cable provider instead of automatically detecting the cable provider on the network I’m connected to. That’s a great feature...when I’m at home, but on other networks it would be great to have an option to choose your provider and sign in.

Sometimes you want to watch Tv early in the morning making breakfast you want to see what’s the weather likes. Annndd as soon as turn it he Tv on Grannadddessss it s on Tv. Why can we put a nice good looking girl younger or a good looking guy to do weather report. We don’t want to see granades early morning to start your day. Downloaded and reinstalled 3 times and it won’t cast to Visio tv. It states it will send a 4 digit code by way of microphone or use 4 digit code from device. All devices show no 4 digit code and microphone does nothing. I know my iPhone can cast because all my other network apps work. Frustrated!

I only watch the app on my Apple TV and it works fine. But why can’t I go back and watch a show from season one?? I would use the app more often if I could start new shows from the beginning. Instead I just end up not watching anything on this app and viewing a different network. Bad business in my opinion.

Sometimes it pixelates but that may be my connection. I also don’t like the big security lock on some shows. They need people to want to watch. You should not have to sign in with your cable log in. It’s public tv. Just show the commercials, which they do. No need for security.

To many ads and then it says 6 ads and does 7-8 most of the time, it eats threw the battery faster then Netflix. There is also a lot of lag time, but I guess I shouldn't come plain to much as I get to watch my shows since I work while they run live.

This is fine when you are watching a show all the way through. When you are busy like I am and have only 5-7min of my breaks at work to watch a show and more than half is commercials it’s pretty bad. I understand the commercials in between but there shouldn’t be 6 commercials every time I resume my show. Sometimes I literally will watch 6 commercials then 2 minutes of show and then another 6 commercials. Learn from the other apps and don’t flood us with commercials. I’m ok with some commercials but this is ridiculous.

The ABC app was working fine until the latest update to 5.2. Now i get an error message about TV provider and/or location not being available. We have one provider at home and other provider at a different location. Both were working and now neither works with live stream. I sent an email to support and waiting for a reply. Update - 4/5/18: Reduced my rating from 3 stars to 2. I received a reply from support that said the problem could be that the app cache needs to be cleared and provided me with instructions for Android and Amazon but not for iPhone. Not a good start. Deleted the ABC app (on both iPhone and iPad) which should clear the cache and re-installed it. No change. I contacted support again. This time I was told Live TV streaming is not available in my location but they had an incorrect zip code for my location. Plus, I was able to stream prior to the latest update. I have a relative living in one of the streaming areas support provided me. She was not able to stream Live TV in her area and her provider is also listed; Comcast. Waiting for the next response to my email. Wonder if I will get a third and different answer why I can no longer stream Live TV.

I have to give this app 1 star because when I try to view the live stream it goes to the west coast viewing. I’ve checked my setting and my settings are for the east cost. If someone can help me I’ll greatly appreciate it

I use to see abc on my phone all the time and now it is telling me that there is no longer a site that I can get live tv in my phone .... what happen you moved ... go figure

So far this is the best TV app out there! NBC is second and CBS, well why would anyone pay for CBS All Access when they can get ABC and NBC for free? Their content is not that engaging. (Sure, I'd watch it for free, but not for $5.99/mo.) Nevertheless! This app streams live TV and offers full seasons of their shows. I use it all the time with no problems.

App seems unstable as the sound only lasts approx 30 seconds then cuts out. I’ve deleted and reinstalled twice and still the same issue.

I adore watching on my lunch breaks at work or even when I’m out and about and have nothing else to do. So easy and a great way to watch on the go!

I’m rarely watching regular tv anyplace but with the apps these days. ABC app makes it easy to find shows and the video quality is very good. I would not be opposed to paying a small fee in order to have commercial free viewing like CBS although I find that the $10 they want is a bit much considering all the content you receive from NETFLIX for a comparable price.

I still don’t understand why you don’t provide live streaming throughout the while country. This is the only app with location restrictions.

I get it. But if by chance we lose our spot and the casting stops to go back and find your spot and have to watch 6 commercials each time we drag the dot to a spot where we think we are each and every single time is just as annoying as this run on sentence. Get it together.

The ads on this app are ridiculous. When I open an episode that I’ve previously paused and walked away from I get six 30-60 second ads, then when I fast forward to the correct holding place another six ads, and when my place is less than one minute away from the next group of ads another six ads. Need a smarter system for this.

The picture quality is great and I am able catch up on my favorite tv shows with ease.

I’m told that I’m supposed to get ABC with my Hulu Live but it claims I’m not in an area where I can watch ABC Live. This means, I can’t watch any live events. I missed the Oscars, American Idol and everything else that the world is watching and I’m not. It’s lame having an app that only works in major cities when people can use cable to access ABC. I’m not going to go and pay 100-200 dollars just to watch this channel. Hopefully your app opens up to new locations.

This app is trash. Constant skipping around the episodes during playback and then force you to watch the same 6 ads you just watched to get back to the spot you left off.

My wife and I grabbed the idol app and the hoops ABC make you jump through is ridiculous! I have been in technology since DOS and this is the worst use of technology ever! Even though I clicked no for promotional info I am pretty sure ABC will be selling and marketing your personal info. This from the network who promotes fall finale’s of shows as winter finale in November! They don’t even know their seasons!

How are you only going to offer six cities the availability to Livestream sporting events? Every other station lets you stream from anywhere in the country. Won't be watching the NBA on this app.

The app is good but I can’t watch the new season of a show because the only episodes I can watch are number 14-18. The previous episodes are not available to watch but they should be in case someone like me misses the first half of the season. Other than that I have no other problems.

At least every 2 weeks, I receive an error message then a few days later a new update. Someone needs to fix this permanently. It's annoying.

It’s been over four months now that the app won’t let me connect to my TV provider so I can’t watch the newer shows. Very frustrating. *Update: after what seems like at least a dozen emails from the developers to help me fix the issue it’s still not fixed. Now every time I try sign in it says “oops something went wrong”. This is the worst TV app I use. Never had an issue with Fox, Lifetime, NBC, or A&E.

Series after series of commercials with no show content in between. 6 commercials when first logging in followed by six commercials when you select your show followed by six more commercials because you continued watching your show that had a schedule commercial break seconds after starting the watch. This is ridiculous. All this S$@t is too much to deal with now.

Why is it that I pay for DirecTv and enter my code to proceed watching your network. Still yet I must wait a day later to watch my programs when out of town and using my mobile device? It is absolutely frustrating beyond words. I’m honestly thinking of just using an antenna at home and bring a book when I travel like I use to many years ago.

I have been using this app for a while now and have NEVER been able to disable the captions!!! Everything else is pretty lovely, other than the occasional situation where the app loses track of where you were in the program.

They play one ad before the episode starts. A few minutes in they play 6 ads back to back. A few seconds later they play another 6 consecutive ads and this will occur a good 5 more times within a 30 minute episode. Beyond annoying.

ABC has Chicago cubs games on tv but when you try to stream it on your phone is general hospital or some other crap. If your gonna have rights to stream these games at least have the decency to let people stream it somehow. I’d love to change my review if this gets fixed but until then this app is useless

6abc Channel is the Best🤩

Downloaded app and tried to log in with my tv provider and got some bs message about how that service is ‘not available in my area’ Deleted the useless app and remembered why I don’t watch anything on ABC anymore. If they removed it from my cable lineup I wouldn’t even notice

Total crap. I downloaded the app for the sole purpose of watching the Comey interview, but after the app made me jump through 20 hoops to sign up and sign in and confirm my cable account it turned out that my cable provider didn’t give me the right to watch live TV on this app. Super frustrating and a total waste of time.

Couldn’t make it through one show because the playback keeps jumping to the start of the show and the app keeps crashing. To get back to where we left off we have to go through all the ads again so it was pointless to try to finish the show.

I am really disappointed in the app. I’m in Houston and one day I will watch on the east coast time zone then it will switch to the west coast and sometimes it will give me an error message and I’m not able to view. I emailed the tech support and they told me using my data can vary from tower to tower. How is that going to change my time zones?

This is a great app but there are an extraordinary amount of ads compared to other network apps! I totally understand the need for ads to have a free app, but is it possible to cut down the amount?? It's a ridiculous amount, and it's a huge deterrent for using this app!

The commercials are worse than regular tv. ABC needs to figure out a way to make the viewer experience better. I’d rather not watch their shows than watch them this way.

The app itself runs perfectly, and is quite fast, but the number of commercials and the length of them is overwhelmingly annoying. Especially if you are returning to the middle of a show, but aren’t sure where you left off…every time you jump forward or rewind, you end up having to watch up to six commercials in a row that are each between two and five minutes a piece before you can even preview if you’re in the right spot. And if you’re not, then you get to watch more commercials before you can view the next section you choose.

The app shows more commercial than it does the show. The 7set of 5/6commercials, with it showing 3mins of the show. Maybe you should try it like FXNow app. One interaction commercial or watch 3 commercials. 😠😕

The app works fine when watching on device... It would note work for me when casting to Chromecast... Would be very nice if it could cast to Roku like some of the other apps will do.

This app is a huge pain in the rear. Apparently ABC ONLY wants you to watch shows live because they’ve made it impossible to enjoy watching anything through this app. With so many breaks that last for so long. It takes almost an hour to watch a 30 minute comedy. From now on when I miss a live show I’m just going to have to miss it, because watching it through this app is absolutely intolerable!

So you updated the app for AppleTV and iPhone, but you're still going to make people sign in to their cable TV provider to watch your FREE TV service that is broadcast over the air... so terrible. Your stations are supposed to be free. They always have been. That's why you have advertisers. Paying for cable doesn't change that either. In fact, it ADDS more advertisements to the consumer. If you're reading this and you have cable, you are getting ROYALLY screwed over. CUT THE CORD! The more people who do it the quicker we get rid of the middle man! Cut your cord people! Stop paying utterly ridiculous cable prices. ABC / Disney doesn't care what their customers want. They care about MONEY. People do not want to pay for TV. The baby boomer generation will cease soon and all cable company subscriptions will diminish. In addition, as soon as sports networks decide to cut ties with the cable company, there will be no more of this nonsense signing in to a cable provider to view content. I hope Fox does it first so ESPN (Disney/ABC) is forced into it. It will be a happy day for all! ABC, get out of bed with the cable companies. It’s a pretty good app but the ads is VERY annoying. I wish there have the setting for removing ads.

6 commercials in a row every time is excessive. Especially when there was only 10 minutes in between each break in an hour and a half long show.

The app is not loading at all and sometime patricianly and stop playing after it goes into sleep mode

Is there anything in the near future that you can upgrade this app to multitask? I want to be able to put the movie or show that I’m watching on the side and resize it while I’m answering a text or looking for an information in safari or something. I am used to and really appreciate having this very useful feature with Spectrum, and the “TV” app of Apple.

So this channel is free but you keep new episodes locked & you need a tv provider to watch them? That is ridiculous! We do not have a tv provider anymore so I can’t watch anything but old episodes, we had Hulu but constant buffering made me cancel our subscription. Just can’t win, they get you every time.

There are 6 ads at the end of every show, before the end credits. Then two adds at the beginning of each show!! Then a bunch of ads during the shows in bunches of SIX!!

I can’t sign into my Charter Spectrum account in this app. It crashes every other time and gets stuck the other times.

The app requires sign in with my provider (Spectrum) user ID and password but when I try to sign in the app gets stuck in a loop and never completes the sign in.

How is it that as taxpaying citizens we cannot live stream major network shows on iPads without paying extra? ABC won’t let me watch on my iPad because they do not like my cable provider. Seriously? Get with the program ABC. This is why I don’t like cable companies or major broadcast companies. Do they realize they will still have the opportunity to expose me to useless advertising whether I’m watching on tv or in my basement on my iPad? The app rotates to landscape and crashes every time I try to play live tv. My iOS is up to date.

Signed it with my provider, every time I clicked a show to watch, it crashed the app. Completely useless

I'm enjoying the ABC app. The ABC App is a clear, great quality and the tv shows are current.

Viewing is only available in certain markets.

I got this because ABC blocks their channel out for live viewing of comcast streaming app because they are greedy. I download anyways because my team is playing on your network. Every time I click the game after I set this junk up - it freezes up. Smh. If you are gonna make things more difficult for selfish reasons they better at least work. This app would not work so I switched the game on thru ESPN and will watch on there in the future if I need a reliable streaming service.

Does still NOT work for NYC spectrum Customers!

I downloaded this app to watch the oscars. I live in a major city and have a cable subscription. After logging in and providing my location I received a message stating "content is not available in your market". Should be zero stars.

Every time you click on live stream it crashes. Just when you really needed to watch something.

I only wish that it would go right to the show I left off at and not commercials yet. Because sometimes you have to charge or whatever. Like the ABC logo too. Gmazzola

App works better than some. Access to programs is pretty quick. Just wish you could fast forward through commercials.

I’m using an iPhone X and an apple TV4 with voiceover which is a screen reader on Apple devices, and I’m having troubles navigating the main screen. I can go through the different categories of kinds of shows, but when I double tap on a category nothing happens. On the Apple TV, on the main screen their is a numbered list of shows, but voiceover doesn’t read the titles. Please improve the app to support voiceover! Apples accessibility team can be reached at: 877-204-3930. It would be greatly appreciated if the app is updated to support the use of voiceover.

I thought this was an alright app before. Now it wants you to give them a service provider to watch it. Who pays for tv? This is garbage. Do not download.

What do I do if I get free tv via air waves. No provider???

I mean the app is ok; the FX app is better because it will give you the option to watch 1 ad so that the movie or episode your watching will have “reduced commercials” I think that’s awesome I mean who wants to watch a movie that every 5-10 minuets there Are 6 ads to watch I mean it’s really annoying so that’s why I usually try and watch whatever episodes on my geektv app cause there full episodes with NO COMMERCIALS!! that’s what I’m talking about; I get it, you need to make money, but don’t sit there and make it seem like you don’t have enough. That u have to profit from an app as well as tv I HATE watching tv hence why I rather use the apps instead I guess I just got spoiled by the fox & FX apps :/ abc y’all should really look into providing the same experiences; because no one likes a money hungry selfish brat, it’s easy and simple. This app needs help. It will not let me sign in. I keep getting message that the app is not supported by by my provider. Yes it is! It will also close out when I try to watch a show from two weeks ago!! What gives? This app is not user friendly! Please fix it!

I love the ABC app! The commercials are relatively short and it doesn't have the same crashing issues I experience with other network apps. I have an older iPad and it works wonderfully.

Every time I try and watched one of my unlocked episodes that was locked it keeps saying opps error try again and I have every day please fix immediately I want to watch the latest episodes by not having that problem thank you!!!!!

The app is good and abc has good shows but not happy that now you have to pay additional to watch most current shows. We are already paying monthly cable why having to pay more now?

I usually love the ABC app but right now all my shows are glitching and I either can’t hear the sound or it buffers and never continues or there is extra sounds in the show that don’t belong there. Can you guys fix it? Thank you

The app does not hold your place if you do not finish the hour long show, you painfully have to search for where you left off. Also, the app does not show the episodes you have watched, so again if you return days later you again have to struggle to find the next episode.

I accidentally hit the cc button and now it won’t turn off! Doesn’t matter what show I watch or how many times I hit the cc button the words won’t go away! I even closed out the app completely turned my phone off then back on and still the cc is on 😞. My last resort is deleting this app and reinstalling it

I like this app but it would be better if it had all the previous seasons of shows as well as the newer season shows. That way if someone wants to watch a new show they can start from the very beginning to the end (where ever it stops) with ease. For example, I wanted to get into watching modern family. But since I’ve never watched it before I’d have to start from season one and binge my way forward to season 9, but with the way this app is set up I can’t do that.

What’s the point in having this app when I can’t watch anything even though I’ve put in my spectrum tv provider. I was able to watch shows before but now they’re sending me errors. This is a terrible app that makes you watch multiple commercials more than the show you’re trying to watch.

Fun but you have to have cable

Frustrating I can’t subscribe it on my own with full contents and without linking to any cable provider 😔☹️

The app works well. The only thing I don’t like is you have to watch 6 ads every 20mins during a show. I would understand like 2-3 but 6 is a bit ridiculous.

I think you are hurting yourselves by not showing current episodes due to not providing a cable company that I pay. Big mistake since there are others that re broadcast your shows without advertising. If you kept access current with the shows your advertising would still be seen.

Why does the cast button not appear??

The app is a great way to catch up on programming while being mobile doing other things. Just wish you could see episodes the day they aired.

Even with the last est update the app is still unusable for me. The app requires sign in with my provider (Spectrum) user ID and password but when I try to sign in the app gets stuck in a loop and never completes the sign in.

To be honest I found everything with the app to be very well. My only complaint is that I can’t watch abc live. I want want to watch live because ouat is my fav show and when I’m busy I have to wait till I get home to watch tv. I can’t watch my show because you don’t have live tv in my area. I live in San Antonio and u don’t support the city. So if u read this I’m hoping u can change that😥

This app has way too many commercials. Twice as many as the NBC or CBS app

ABC is the best app ever

A lot of choices for good shows just so many ads in the show. I’m fine with like 3 interruptions but my show had five it was super annoying.

This only thing is that when I want to pause it, it’s very slow in popping up and it would be mush better if the pause button came up right away.

The commercials and the flaws with them are killing the joy.

Sometimes I just want to watch the last 15 min of a show I missed on TV, but having to watch every SINGLE dam commercial break when forwarding to the last half of a show is ridiculous, especially when I have cable credentials. You need a way to distinguish a free watcher versus an cable subscriber and stop this from happening.

All Christians and even non-Christians should boycott ABC until they fire Behar! What she said is completely inexcusable and if she made that statement about Muslims then she would have been gone in a heartbeat!

Log in works now. Live tv NOT working in Houston,TX. Big plus now 2 stars. Provider app works remotely now also.

This app worked wonderfully for me for such a long time. There were a few glitches here and there but nothing that stopped me from using the app. Until I switch tv providers!!! It won’t let me change it on the app. Nothing I have done will allow me to change it and sign into my new tv provider and now I can’t watch anything. Very frustrating.

Also tons of ads.

It never crashes, has beautiful HD streaming without glitching, and is always up to date with the newest show from the previous week. I hate commercials, but at least on this app they are spaced out instead of all at once and the longer you watch the shorter the number of commercials you must watch with every break. Also, if you have to rewind, you are not forced to rewatch the commercials.

This app does not work on my ipad. As soon as I indicate a program to view, the app drops. This has happened repeatly. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Same result. I am very frustrated and disappointed.

So you updated the app for AppleTV and iPhone, but you're still going to make people sign in to their cable TV provider to watch your FREE TV service that is broadcast over the air... so terrible. Your stations are supposed to be free. They always have been. That's why you have advertisers. Paying for cable doesn't change that either. In fact, it ADDS more advertisements to the consumer. If you're reading this and you have cable, you are getting ROYALLY screwed over. CUT THE CORD! The more people who do it the quicker we get rid of the middle man! Cut your cord people! Stop paying utterly ridiculous cable prices. ABC / Disney doesn't care what their customers want. They care about MONEY. People do not want to pay for TV. The baby boomer generation will cease soon and all cable company subscriptions will diminish. In addition, as soon as sports networks decide to cut ties with the cable company, there will be no more of this nonsense signing in to a cable provider to view content. I hope Fox does it first so ESPN (Disney/ABC) is forced into it. It will be a happy day for all! ABC, get out of bed with the cable companies. They are the newspaper of this generation (going... going.... GONE) For now, I'll just sit back and enjoy the TENS OF THOUSANDS of negative reviews. ;)

The best of the best.

I love everything this app has to offer and the quality of the serious that you guys display but the only problem I find is that the adds are stacked from 4 to 6 and backing out by accident usually causes me to have to rewatch even if I’m halfway through them and takes a lot of time to get through. Only drawback I find in this app.

This app will not let you log in with Spectrum on my Ipad. Too bad.

Great content, but the app crashes so often I'm one very frayed single strand of thread away from not bothering anymore.
