Reviewed on 11/6/19 12:04 PMSooo, I'm trying to study for state board and was told this quiz helps. So I'm trying to take it but when I'm done with the quiz it doesn't let me see the correct answers or see which I got wrong. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Reviewed on 11/6/19 12:04 PMAs an Esthetics instructor, I have been recommending this app to my students since discovering it a year ago. I think it's great because it combines two textbooks, which makes the students really have to know the material as opposed to just memorizing our chapter tests. HOWEVER, my students and I have recently found some errors in the answers, and I don't know if it's due to an error in the source text or an error in the app. either way, they need to be fixed, because the students panic when the thing they have been taught is correct turns out to be "wrong" in the app.

Reviewed on 11/6/19 12:04 PMI downloaded this app in hopes that it would help me prepare for State Board, unfortunately this app is filled with so many useless questions that I was beginning to doubt that I would even get past the written part. The questions at State Board are so basic and to the point making this app rather useless. Do yourself a favor, go on Quizlet and search for Esthetician Quizzes.

Reviewed on 11/6/19 12:04 PMI loved this app because it provided the information on why the correct answer was correct. It was nice because I could choose any length of test that I had time for. I enjoyed being able to take a 10 point question when I only had a few minutes to spare. I also liked that I could mark the questions that I wanted to do further study on, even if I got the answer correct. It was much more user-friendly than another option I purchased for much more money online. Thank you for your help. I passed my test!

Reviewed on 11/6/19 12:04 PMThis app helps a lot, but not as much as I would hope. But it does simulate the actual test. So it helped me remember things. Not worth $5.00

Reviewed on 11/6/19 12:04 PMNot a terrible app, but not worth $9.99 either. There are some typos that make questions really difficult to answer correctly because you get hung up on figuring out what the misspelled word is. I like that you can do a 100 questions or 5 based on your time constraints. That's a plus. I don't like that occasionally, the answer they provide as being correct does not match up with the source they have cited (I have copies of both Miladys & Salon Fundamentals). This makes studying extremely confusing sometimes. Another gripe is that they will take two separate concepts and mush them together... For example, the papillary layer of the dermis provides nourishment to the upper layers of the epidermis, while the reticular layer of the dermis is where collagen is created. Then they'll ask what layer of the skin nourishes the upper layer of the skin and creates collagen. The correct answer should be the dermis, since it is comprised of the papillary and reticular layers, but it doesn't give you that option. I'm just hoping that some of the wonky questions they ask don't get me turned around on my actual exam. Other than that, it's a good tool to measure what you know if you are proactive with your studies - I recommend taking the test with your textbook to look up the questions that you miss immediately so you can get the correct answer set in your brain. Good luck, future estis!
