A few days ago it’s was fine but now only one class shows up

How do you get a teacher back if you just withdrawal it. And what does withdrawal mean

It’s for school? What else? Also, I will never be able to find emails I personally want to look at ever again! Getting a 100 emails per 4 hours? Easy!

I bet that got your attention, this app is amazing. It helps with your classes when you are absent and it finds a easy, mostly private ways to ask your teachers for help if you are socially awkward or shy.

This a great tool for high schoolers.

this app is actual a**. it worked fine in the beginning, but now it won’t even let me log in. fix this now!

I cant sign in , every time i try and press the button its says “rate us “ and even if i presss ok it never signs in !!!

But anytime I want to access one of my classmates profiles it doesn’t load properly but it works on the computer which is very annoying! Please fix this if you did then it would be five stars! This app is useful if you are absent or miss a class you can catch up on new homework and class work if your teacher posts it. I hope this was a helpful review and that you please try to fix that problem. I have never been able to open profiles but I don’t know if it’s just my device or if anyone else is having that same problem. But I’d love it if I could access them.

Don’t like the changes recently made, Have requested to be able to put a few images on one post for classwork,also requested that when sending a note to specific students, it should be bcc....so they don’t always start to chat and I constantly get notifications and I can’t delete that chat....

I have used Edmodo for close to 8 years now. I love it. I use it for fast easy quizzes and check-ins. I use it for classroom and parent communications. I use it to create small groups so the students can communicate with other (while I moderate everything they post), and I use some assignments over again by either saving them in my library or easily pulling up past assignments and quizzes. I love Edmodo! It has made my life as a teacher easier.

Nice but some bugs are annouying. It seems notifications does not support persion... And the messanger ; I kind of think it's not much user friendly...

New update trouble and now if you click on the “search” you can’t return to the home menu or your classes. You get locked in the search window! If there is a way it’s not very intuitive because there is no button for it. Please fix!! I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app if I bump the search bar...ugh.

I have started using this app last week. Now I can manage my online classes over 200 students easily.

I’ve used this app on many devices for 5 years and the push notifications never seem to work. They did for a little while last year, but no more. My students send me messages that I never see unless I actually open the app. I (only sometimes) get SMS messages because I entered my phone number into the Edmodo website, but the app’s push notifications are completely unreliable. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app many times on different iPhones and iPads and made sure all notifications settings in the phone and in the app or “on”. It just doesn’t work.

Edmodo is one of the best “teacher’s aide”, a classroom teacher can have.

I am forced to used this app since it’s required by teachers. I don’t get notifications anymore. All of the email notifications are sent to the spam of my email. I had to sign up for text message notifications myself. On the app, it doesn’t tell me when my teacher posted. It just says “10 seconds ago.” Which isn’t accurate. It also doesn’t tell me what date the work is due. The notifications panel in the app doesn’t show the grades I get. Sometimes when I click one class, it clicks another class. I have an iPhone 8, so I know it’s not my phone lagging or bugging out. All in all, this is a very trash app that needs a lot of fixing.

I personally use Edmodo as an 8th grade student quite often whether at school to get an online assignment, or at home just trying to catch up on homework whie sick, I think it is great. I do however think it has some room to improve. My main concern is that is can be a little confusing at times with some things like a classes Edmodo callender being hard to find. But, overall it is a great so, off of the great idea to put school communication where the students are looking.

It is a good app. But it won’t let click on other people’s profiles on the Mobile like my teachers. It says error.

I have been using Edmodo with my students for five years. The website is great, the app is not. We log into the website on our tablets instead of using the app because the app is very limited. Students cannot edit work or turn in assignments with be app. Student can’t take quizzes with the app. Also, the app is just not as user friendly as the website.

I use this almost daily, but now the messages won’t repopulate. After I answer a students message it still shows as if I never answered. It also shows my message as bold as if it was from the student. Very disappointing now. Also. When I send a message how can I “send” to all my groups, like I can do when I use the computer?

I check messages, but it still has them marked as unread & no matter what, I can’t get them to mark read. Sometimes I don’t even get notifications either. Hoping there will be an update soon that will actually fix these things.

The app just won’t work, keeps saying “error, data is not in the correct format”

On the app, there isn’t any access to the student planner not the calendar, the colors of the different classes can’t be changed, and PowerPoints displayed have the text cut off at the sides, and the images’ and texts’ placements are off. This causes text to overlap over itself and the images. These issues don’t exist on the website.

I have been using the program for over a year now. I love it for collecting writing assignments and providing feedback to my students. I also love the fact that the parents can see the assignments that their complete.

I have to keep reinstalling the app over and over. This makes it difficult to keep up with communication from students.

I do find it easy enough to categorize my classes.

You need to do three things 1. Partner with Notability to make sure it easier to share notes and files from their app to this app. 2. Create a way to give students better feedback on the IPad so when they submit a word or pdf assignment the teacher can just write on their document (this is where Showbie has you beat). 3. Update the app so all the functions on the website can be used on the app because not only do I as a teacher have to go back and forth but also the students do too and it wastes so much class time. You should hire me as a consult because I love this app, have been using it for at least 4 years, and advocate it to other teachers at my school. Ask the IT department, they have definitely heard from me. -Keiffer Scott

I was using edmodo for school then all of sudden my phone started freaking out and my phone kept turning off. It only started when I got EDMODO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make it so that in the weekends Edmodo closes so that teachers can’t give work on the weekends because my school friends don’t have time for anything because of the teachers sending thing to edmodo on weekends ?

Terrible interface and unreliable (in sending email notifications). Needs a lot of work to be more usable (typing/input interface, notifications, etc). Also, when will the calendar be accessed on mobile devices?

I like the app but there are some things that I find useful and think should be added. -I find really useful if you could delete a message that you sent to the teacher. -A calendar. Which you can add things in two ways. The student go to calendar, select a day and then touch and the assignments are show but since it will be a little confusing all the entire post. The teacher can go there and post themselves. -Another thing I’ll like will be a way to reset the profile picture, I mean you change your picture one time and then you can’t go back to the avatar that was shown when you enter for first time and you haven’t change your picture(i don’t know if I’m explaining good, English isn’t my first language) . For the rest I like it all.

Great resource on a PC or Mac. However, Teachers need the same features in the app. ie: posting later option, viewing the planner/calendar editing posts on-the-go. Great resource otherwise. Training my entire campus to use this resource for their classes.

I sometimes miss my students messages due to lack of push notifications, even though they’re on. They’re sent to my iPad, but not my phone and I’m rarely on my phone. I deleted the app on my iPad but it still hasn’t changed anything. Love being able to communicate with my students and parents.

I really love this app because I have in contact with the best teacher ever.Leavinf elementary school was so hard especially because I had the best year so I have in contact with all my classmates and my teacher

I’ve tried logging on multiple times, it recognizes my username and password, but keeps asking me to download the parent version. Where as I’ve been using the regular app for a long time. It will not let me open the app anymore. Please fix this bug!

The app is mostly good but the notifications are not working but the rest of it is fine its a much easier way to communicate with teachers and if someone is absent they can send the pdf or PowerPoint

I’m trying to upload an assignment and on the App version, Google Drive doesn’t appear on here! Fix THIS!

This app worked for a short while, but now every time I try to login it gives an error message that the server can’t be reached at this time. I am never able to login with mine or my daughter’s login info.

I added a home work assignment last night for my 11th & 12th Honours Anatomy & Phys. student to read half of next chapter. Regretfully, I reminded them for the millionth time that they can go straight to the eText web site of the link from their homepage doesn’t work. I left the “a” out of Pearson so it said “eText. person.com.” This was a simple assignment posting with no added attachments or links, etc. After it was posted. I added another post post, not an assignment post, alerting my seniors only of an upcoming deadline. I could clearly see my assignment post below & it did not contain any photos or added stuff. When I opened my laptop this morning before school, my Edmodo Page was still open & there was a big ad for p*** site complete with unsavoury pictures embedded in my assignment post. Of course, I immediately deleted the post. How this happened? How a p*** site’s algorithm is set up to can gain access to my stuff & add their filth & Edmodo has no way to block things like this. Well, I am quitting Edmodo. I hope there are no repercussions at work because a few early-riser kids took screen shots before I deleted &, according to another science teacher, they have gone viral! I’m sure some kids think it’s hilarious. I doubt my administrators or the Miami-Dade County School Board will be amused. This exemplifies the risk we all take using social media of any kind let alone the sites we depend upon to connect to our students. I am certain I’m not the first teacher to misspell a word in a website address. I’m either going back to Schoology or simply communicating with my students via Remind & posting handouts, etc. using drop box or something like that.

I have been using EDMODO sporadically for the past 4 years and it has helped me personalize my course delivery to individual student needs. I just came back and could no longer find how to add non-picture files to a folder. Somethings have changed and I do not like it. That’s why I did not give a five star. I still find EDMODO useful but a little less than before.

Edmodo is great!!! I like it!

I’m a chorus teacher, and I am able to record voice parts, upload music and assign sub assignments all for one place! It’s a teacher’s lifesaver!

I find the Edmodo app frustrating because it doesn’t do everything that you can do from a computer. Most apps are designed to replicate what you can do from a computer, so I often find myself having to explain to students that they need to access Edmodo via the web on an iPad or on a computer if they want to submit an assignment, etc because the app is pretty much only useful to view messages or look at a grade. It doesn’t seem very functional beyond that.

Whenever I click the tab for this in the settings app, the settings app crash. This does not happen with anything else in the settings. Not sure if this is on your end or apples end but it should be fixed. Also it crashed once.

I have been using Edmodo as my LMS since 2012, and I could not be happier with its features! Sincerest thanks to the tireless efforts of the Edmodo staff for delivering and constantly improving such an amazing platform for teachers everywhere! 🌎

This app is so slow and constantly crashes. And randomly it will log me out of the app, not to mention that it’s very slow. The icon is clearly just a minion but with the shape of a message icon. Worse than Despacito 12.

I have an account on Edmodo and the app will not let me sign in. I know that I am getting the password and username right because I use the website all the time. I like using Edmodo for school classes and thought it would be easier to use if I had the app, but the app does not like my account. I tried making a new account for the app, but it made me a teacher instead of a student and did not allow me to be apart of my classes. The app needs to be fixed so those who makes an account online can access the app. I will say if the app would have let me sign in and not given me account trouble, I would have given Edmodo four stars.

It has a lot of errors . And problems while uploading

The app itself is great, but the calendar is inaccessible. As a student, the calendar is very useful to have because many meetings and paper assignments are posted there. On the website the calendar is one of the things I look at the most, but on my phone I can’t check what meetings I am in or anything rendering the app nearly useless and under consideration for deletion.

Crashes every 5 seconds, is slow, and pauses videos for no reason

I love the app. Edmodo is a really good app, but it has so many bugs. It won't notify me of any of my teachers assignments or post. And as of now it's not even letting me load the home page. It's just stays on the blue screen. Please fix this.

Wish I could do more than I Photo at a time

PDF files do not work when trying to share them from another app to Edmodo. It just stays on the loading screen. When using images or others it’s works fine, but it is PDFs where the problem occurs.

I am a student that uses Edmodo on a daily basis and it is frustrating for me to keep trying to get the app to not freeze. I eventually go to the website on safari. Please fix this bug.

I use edmodo and it was fine until just 2 or 3 days ago. All of a sudden it will load slowly or just not at all and will crash. It also does this when I try to refresh the app. It also tends to freeze and it usually crashes when it freezes. Would you please fix this because I need access to my teachers on edmodo.

Edmodo made epic changes to their app, and it shows! As a teacher I can easily grade homework anywhere...even while waiting for a show!! Kudos!

Not user friendly at all from a smart phone

Can’t send assignments without having to go to my computer. Edmodo, please, erase this mess. It’s such a hassle to navigate through it, so uncomfortable and the design is horrible.

It worked fine in my device at first but over time the app wouldn’t let me turn in assignments. It would say error or it would load for a long time. The app glitches when I scroll and freezes.

Edmodo clearly is a great utility for me as a student. However, I have both my notifications on and push notifications on and edmodo does not notify me when I have an assignment. This could be due to IOS 11. I would deeply appreciate it if you guys were to fix it.

Videos make the app crash every now and then.

Edmodo is a very useful app for school, I wouldn’t use it for social media unless u want to share with the people on ur group. But it is very handy to have for classes.

I tried to open it on my phone or safari because my homework was due soon and it forced me to download the app and when I did it wouldn't even allow me to log in so it was extremely frustrating. Then I actually got in and the app had so many bugs it wasn't even worth downloading

I love this app but it needs a little work. The work that is needed is that there should be an ability for teachers to make quizzes on there for students. The teacher should be able to go to a part that says “Quizzes” and be able to either make or chose a quiz. Every thing else is Perfect. 👍🏻

I think edmodo is very good using however I do think it could be improved. You know how on a text messaging app where if someone texts you something, an alarm on your phone goes off immediately? I do think edmodo could like ring a bell or make an alarm go off on my phone when a post goes up from a teacher to let me know exactly when something is posted. I mention this because one time my choir teacher put up a short-notice post that we were practicing our Christmas carols in the band room and I didn’t know about it and I missed that rehearsal. I think if edmodo made an alarm go off on my phone I would know about that rehearsal right away. I would also like if you could turn the alarm on and off and you could choose a type of alarm as well.

Edmodo is good and all but the proplem is I deleted edmodo when we had vacation to have more space on my iPad and now I probably re downloaded edmodo 10 times and it does not work and I missed a lot of stuff that day so please fix the app so I can use it Thank you for your time to read this message

Mostly good, and I can contact my teacher if anything is wrong or confusing on the homework, but there are some problems. Sometimes when I'm trying to do something on this app, it kicks me off randomly for no reason. It also doesn't load the video or attachments, so that I can be frustrating. And whenever I try to look at my classmates picture or stuff on the little 🚹 like sign, it always says error, and then pulls up some teacher's info. He's not even a person at my school! Please try to fix these problems.

When I post something on my iPad, my little picture is a coyote. When I post a picture on my laptop, the picture is my dog, Oscar. I really do not know what my real picture is.

This is a fantastic resource for the classroom. Much like blackboard for college students, Edmodo allows easy communication between teachers and students. In the day and age of technology and social media, this a brilliant site/app! It allows my students to know what they made need for future classes, contact me after school regarding assignments, ability to access notes or PowerPoints and so on! It’s fantastic!

This has been a lifesaver for our co-op. Teachers use it to post for their classes. It works great!

The edmodo app is a great way to communicate in the classroom and for students to be caught up to new material when they are absent. However, my main issue with the app is: A planner/calendar. Before the update, students could easily access the "planner" function, which is currently missing from the app, on the assignments tab. It is inefficient and time consuming for students to have to access the actual website (by re-logging in) everytime they wish to access the calendar. Some of my teachers post frequently on the calendar, but because for some reason, they are not listed as an "assignment," and therefore do not show up unless I check the actual website. The app also takes a long time to load (but it could just be my slow wifi) and crashes frequently.
