I have used this app a lot in my classroom. We. Are class books all the time and I can print them and send them to parents to read in iBooks. At home. I love that I can print the books on our school printer. However I wish they did not have to be whole pages. I would love for the option to print 4 book pages per piece of copy paper. I also wish photos could be edited/ cropped in the app. It would also be nice to be able to make books on longer legal size paper.

I love the app, but haven't tried this newer version completely just yet. I can't wait to get started exploring the new features. I did try one of the features in which you can take a screenshot. The only problem I encountered was that the screenshot was of the Sharing window and when I tapped on the screenshot, I ended up in my email app. How did that happen? I don't know. But I don't think that any personal information was linked. I will update my review once I try out more features. Thanks.

If you are looking for an app to prepare an ePub for a children's book, Book Creator app for iPad produces a beautiful ePub3. We varied the font and font size, boldness and color. We chose a square book format, but other shapes and sizes are available. We were also able to choose page color and vary page color throughout the book. We included a short video, in lieu of an illustration on one page. There is the option to narrate your book or have the app narrate it and light up the word being read. There is an automatic page turning option. Air dropping illustrations from your iPad or iPhone is very easy. For book 2 in our series, we are doing more illustrations directly onto the iPad/book creator page with a stylus. For our needs, the app is easy to use and offers all of the features we needed. We have been asked to conduct a seminar for teachers and writers on preparing an ebook with Book Creator for iPad at a local college next month. The only problem we encountered was submitting a table of contents to Apple's iTunes Producer. There were instructions in Book Creator for preparing a TOC to submit to Apple, but we did not get it right. The folks at Apple were nice enough to redo our TOC.

This is the BEST app I have ever used! It is so simple to use that my five year olds in kindergarten can make professional looking books without my help. I love the fact that the kids can insert video and pictures immediately after taking them without having to go to the photo library. Students can each make their own page either on the free app on Windows 10 or the iPad app. Then they can combine all the pages into one book. We even created an internation book the same way! These books can be published in iBooks and are easily shared with other people. This app can also easily be "smashed" with other apps making the possibilities endless. I have used this app to make sight word and many other ebooks for the kids to use to study with and have also created formal assessments on this app by creating a page and having the students use the voice recorder portion to record their answers. Students have used the comic book pages to create books or as a formal assessment too. As a teacher, I use this app every day! Best app ever!

This is a great app to use with students. It is easy to use and works seamlessly with the media available. Students should have no trouble creating a multimedia book to share with others. The Export features have many options available for sharing. I especially like the audio feature that allows the students to read the story or add sound effects. The creativity is endless! I would highly recommend this app for any classroom .. a “Must Have” in my list of essential tools !

My first raised in using this app to publish their written work. The app to export as a PDF or physical or is a short video. This makes the books easy for sharing. The app is very use, very easy to teach five and six-year-olds to use, and quite intuitive. My students love using the Book Creator app to publish their work. After a few many lessons on how to use the app, students are quite independent at completing their work, then publishing it using the app. I would recommend this app to anyone to use in the classroom or for personal use. I did the developer is very supportive in helping you work through any issues that you may have. They are very responsive and open to suggestions.

I created a personal picture book for my son, and it is easy to use and works great with iBooks. I haven't tried to publish anything, so not sure about that aspect. It has options for exporting to overdrive, nook and Evernote, but none of those exported picture books looked right at all (tiny pictures...text/ other pictures covering each other). Perhaps it works fine for a text only ePub, but if I was doing text only, I'd probably use epubbud on my PC.

It would be better if it had a DELETE button rather than just an UNDO button-backtracking takes too long. Also needs more choices in font selection and size of fonts available. It's very easy to use but doesn't really have the features I need & want.
