3rd Grade Math Games For Kids App Reviews

I downloaded this app to try it out for my kids. Upon using the app we quickly realized it wasn’t the right level so I cancelled through the app. I did not realize I had to also cancel in iTunes, so I was charged 59.99 for a year long subscription. I contacted customer service and they said they couldn’t refund it bc it was through iTunes and apple says that I don’t meet the requirements for a refund either. Shady

Little girl hates math but this changed everything🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🏼

I am in second grade and I know all math facts almost all and I know some division facts and I’m kind a bit great but not really good and at school we do a thing called XtraMath and I passed addition and subtraction and right now I’m on Multiplication and I’m on 92 that’s my score and I really good, but first I did not know some and I’m going to pass soon.

Sadly it says in the app the charges are $1 per subject. This is extremely deceitful when you open the app and then see a much higher price for quarter monthly payments. I’m extremely disappointed in this fake advertising.

I enjoy playing this app.It’s nice and I like the cheering,what I love most is the aquarium.🙂p.s, I’m a child 👱🏻‍♀️

I love the game and it makes it easy to learn and I could play it all day, but it keeps having advertisements for a membership and it lets you play the games without the membership but every time I click on a game it shows up with an add for the membership and it’s so annoying , I click the ❌ and it gets out of the add then I click back on the game but it shows up with it again. I did that a few times but it did the same thing over and over again so eventually I got rid of the game. And I have been trying to find a new game for math but I couldn’t find one. I would advise on not getting this game.

I’m loving slpash math and I like the store so I can get cute animals and so much more ty for marking this app for all the children’s that don’t have nothing to do ty god bless you hv a good night or morning (:

I purchased a couple of you apps when my children were young and it was a one time purchase. We loved them... We were excited to get the next grade up... But $9.99 a month seems so expensive. Love your app but just to pricey.

They helped my son bye doing some more math and he is passing everyone of the test and worksheets so I give it a 4 such a great app🙂🙂

When my child presses start it takes her/him to start you free trail can you please move the start you free trail please. And be able to change the levels she complaining the levels are to easy she goin to different grade for harder ones but it’s still easy.please fix the free trail thing.thank you!

You download a free app with in-app purchases to try it and see if you want to use it. Can’t go two minutes without being bombarded with a subscription sign up. Barely any content is usable until you sign up.

Not a free app. You find out it is a one week free trial after downloading and giving your email etc.

This a sham of a program, it says free but it’s not they want a credit card before you can even test it out! Free means: not subject to or constrained by engagements or obligations... a credit card is an engagement... You can keep it!!

So the “free trial” consists of only one round in one activity. How is this enough to be able to determine if I want to pay $10 per month on this app? Don’t bother downloading it...

Took the seven day free trial and cancelled on the seventh day only day only to be charged for the app two hours after cancelling. I will be refunded in up to ten business days, but still shady that they would charge you before the free trial is over and after my subscription was cancelled. Also they charge you for the year so not pennies, $60. Be wary.

Well my mom buyer splash math I was excited but then it started getting boring

I use this app every day I love the fish and animals and the math part too with splash math math is fun and I enjoy it

My mom made me do it for an hour because I watch tv and play ROBLOX every day

This is the best game ever I don’t like how this game makes you pay money

The app is an excellent tool to assist with learning and building skills where needed. I definitely recommend it😊

Heads up, this is a “free trial that goes into auto payment” after a week. You have to make an effort to “cancel” within 24 hours of the renewal automatically beginning in order to not be charged. That’s a very recuse and small window with a purpose most parents will forget and they make their money no matter of you intended on keeping the ap or not. I want to help my kid learn and practice their math, not add yet another thing into my calendar to watch and “catch” in time to not incur fees. Ain’t no one got time for that. Deleted before even beginning the “free trial” and wanted to give other parents a heads up. If you want something free, really free, this is not for you. Keep searching.

It looks like this is free. But the free trial is ONE WEEK and then they charge you $59.99. It is a total scam. And no way to get out of it. I tried to contact customer support and they said i have to contact Apple. One week free???!!!

This game is perfect for children but my dad can’t afford so much money for the free trial so it’s not cool yo not cool.

We homeschool, so this is a great app to help reinforce my daughter’s math skills!

So I only got to do nine facts on the very first one.I’m in second grade and am self taught division.I’m deleting this app.By the way I got math books to learn from.I got this app because I LOVE MATH.I LOVE SCHOOL.And best of all I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE DIVISION.My mom does not spend money for games.

My son is on second grade, but has tested above his grade. I got this so he could do 3rd grade math. He’s almost done with 2nd grade in about a month! He’s been in 3rd grade multiplication and division as well.

It should be clear that you intend to charge people for the app.

Well i do like how it teaches and my child and I downloaded it, then after 15 minuets my child comes up to me and says “hey mom they want us to have a free trial”. Well I said exit out. Then he tried to click on multiplication skill and said “it won’t work”. I grabbed my phone and said “ I think u have to be a VIP” to DO MATH. I THINK THAT TO TEACH A CHILD TO LEARN, EVEN THAT COST MONEY!!! I’m very upset with this app. Sincerely, A teaching parent 😔😌

I downloaded the app. Cancelled 2 days after and had my card charged 60 dollars. They did not even give me the option to decide if I want it for a month let alone a year. I will appreciate a refund. I am willing to pay for a month 10 dollars. Being shady is not cool. Let’s teach our kids better

My daughter loves playing the games and I've found that the app does a great job reinforcing the skills she's learning in school

My son is a very good math student and I have found that this program is a very good supplement to his school work. He can do most of the modules on his own and not have me sit with him. We have been very pleased.

My son used this all summer to keep his skills in 2nd grade math going. He thought it was fun and enjoyed the goofy kudos, the cheers and feeling of accomplishment when he was done. Great app!

I have been trying to take this program off my debt card for two months unsuccessful!!! I had to close my debt card just to stop the charges !!! This company was impossible to contract!!!

Amazing app keeps my 7 year engaged while prepping her for third grade. You can customize it to the desired level and set reminders and timers for each lesson.

This app is not free and costs monthly. It doesn't even let you actually review the product before deciding to purchase like I've read on reviews. I am still having trouble canceling tej account and they continue to fill my email with spam after we just decided to delete the app.

I bought the k-3 package for $20 and then realized that my kids could only access 20 questions per day unless I bought the complete package for nearly $40. Look, I am happy to pay for content, but just be upfront about the costs. I am deleting this app and will find other solutions.

I love the mini games in the game I love that I get coins to play games

The practice activities are fun and actually teach. My kids are really enjoying the 2nd and 3rd grade activities. I'm using it to help build on and practice what they know.

Downloaded this app for my daughter and thought she could just start using it. Unfortunately you have to sign up for their subscription service. What's let down.

Wonderful app! My son loves it and that’s saying a lot for a kid who usually cries when he hears the word math and review in one sentence.

There isn't a free trial without giving them a credit card and committing to a paid plan. Very misleading.

My son finished all math facts (+-/x through 12) in the middle of 2nd grade. This was well ahead of his classmates who were all still learning addition. I really wanted to find a way to keep him interested in math that would also help him learn new concepts when he was ready for them. I discovered SplashMath ad he started working on it over the summer. He has loved every minute of it! He "plays" it on his own without me having to ask (and without a fight from him). He started with 3rd grade math, which he finished in July. He moved on to 4th grade...and he just completed that yesterday - and it's just the first week of 3rd grade for him! He has learned complicated fractions, beginning algebra, geometry, decimals, long division and so much more. I shared his progress with his new teacher and told her that I highly recommend this app. While my son thinks it's a "game" that he loves to play, I love that he can learn at his own pace. I just wish it would go beyond 5th grade because I don't know what I'll do with him when he finishes the 5th grade section! I also want to mention the parents' app and weekly progress reports - I love this because I get to see what he's doing and I can share his progress with others (grandparents, teacher). This app is wonderful and I'm so happy I found it!

This is great but kinda annoying because of the money thingy u should make something like V.I.P where u can do anything u want on the app and unlimited subjects while normal 1 subject pair day not u have to pay in order to even use the website for a month and a free trail should be a month and u should ask and notify the person other then that it’s great From a child

I did the free trail and I canceled before the time was over. They tried charging my account multiple times. I called and asked them to stop. Then today they charged my account twice. This is not ok.

I downloaded this app thinking it was a free learning tool, only to find that it’s only a free 1 week trial and then for purchase. Almost seems like an information phishing tool.

Not told prior to downloading that there is a monthly charge. Tricks are not necessary. Be honest upfront.

This game is really good for my child she loves it she needed help in math and she has learned so much she's talking a lot to me about multiplication and division and fractions she works on it with her little sister and they switch from third grade to kindergarten it's really good the two kids love it and I just want to say that it's awesome and you should really get it

A good subscription app will let you try it out WITHOUT COMMITMENT and then stop working after the free trial. With this app you need to agree to the subscription but can cancel it within the first week. No thanks. Delete.

So I love this it has games that you can unlock by doing math and I have been doing this every day!!and It has grades up from kindergarten to 5th grade and it has what you need to learn in your grade!!

My daughter and son both go on this I love it it helps the learn their math in a fun way

I tried this app briefly and decided to cancel my $59.99 subscription. Their customer service emailed me back to say their “support ninjas” would get back to me within 72 business hours. They never did and I was charged anyway.

My daughter does not think this game is really fun but she still likes it.🤩

I bought this app 5 years ago it was reasonably priced and was one flat rate. Now it’s around 80.00 a year!!!! Am betting the price increase has caused them to loose many customers like me. $80.00 a year Crazy, crazy , crazy! And you have to give them a credit card or pay up front for the 1 week “ free trial”. Back then I loved it! Now it says FREEE but in order to play for free it is a 1 week trial then they charge you via the APP store! Old Review- Fabulous and worth every penny, this shows the strengths and weaknesses of my 3 year old and 9 year old. Have kept them playing throughout the summer to keep them on track. The reports are great, they tell me where the kids need help so that I can follow up. I gladly gave 5 Stars. Would love to have: Print practice pages, printed pages can force the kids to show us how they got the answer Math vocabulary list with definitions as part of a game Larger variety of award games Practice times tables with random blanks so the kids need to fill in the Kuddos to the development team!
