Customer Reviews of the Termius App

Perfect! Just what I needed for managing AWS

I’m taking a class to learn about AWS and needed a good SSH client for managing EC2 servers. I purchased and downloaded the Putty Port, but it looks terrible (not retina compatible) and kept crashing on me. I did a search on the App store and found Terminus. Within a few mins I was up and running and online. Easy to use, clean interface and just works. Keep it up!

Good Apop

No Support for /etc/hosts

No support for reading /etc/hosts that I could find (their documentation is pretty much non-existent). A *nix tool to replace terminal/ssh that can't consume local resolver doesn't quite fit the bill, and forcing a user to rebuild /etc/hosts using Termius aliases is just silly.

Great for college

Im currently a junior in college going for cybersecurity and for the past year ive had to go on campus to use putty on the campus computers. The OS X terminal just had to many problems connecting to the schools servers and gave this a shot. This program works flawlessly for a SSH client from home.

Does not work with ssh port > 100

I tried ssh ... -p2222, and it tried to connect to port 22. Looks like anyport > 100 will be truncated.

Good SSH client!!!

Has alot of seemingly good features on the surface but some basic stuff is missing. xterm-256color support (Or being able to even set your TERM) Theme editing.. All of the default themes are kind of horrible and theres no way to edit them, Pro is almost great but you can't see the cursor. It has an 'identities' feature with no way to add/edit said identities ..

Could not even start or find any instructions

I downloaded this app and started it. Next, I tried to add the private key to the configuration, but I cannot find how to do that. Using Terminal with ‘ssh’ command, the key is in ‘~.ssh’ directory, but that does not seem to recognized by this app. I visited the support site, nothing there. This may be the world’s best SSH client, but without even basic documentation it is worthless.
